Cammie couldn t believe she was back here, 16 years in the CIA; and a job as a covert operations teacher was all she had to show for it. She knew that the, Great Joe Solomon, had done it once; but Cammie lived and died by being in the field not by being on the sidelines. Not to mention her actual surprise by getting the job offer, considering her Ex-boyfriend was the headmaster; though she figured the girls pulled for her to receive the job. Cameron Morgan knew that she had no choice, it was imperative that she did this job and that she did it well. The Chameleon had finally come home ...and with that she climbed out of the four-door black jeep wrangler; that she drove here in and slid her sunglasses on the face.
The Gallagher Academy had changed much to her surprise, ivory still covering the giant brick mansion and the windows still as pristine as ever. However, she did notice students running along the long cement driveway; which she knew was a surprise in itself, it seems there was some sign of Zach being the headmaster after all. She smiled at the sight of her in a window upstairs as she walked along a dirt path next to the south corridor of the school, before slipping behind a hedge to where there was little room between it and the school. The space would have looked no different than any other room between the school and the shrubbery that surrounded it to any other person, but Cammie wasn't just another someone; she had been raised here and had taken comfort in its walls.
So only she knew to turn around, her back to the brick so she stood flat against it and brace herself; and as if sixteen years hadn't passed, the ground beneath her crumbled and she went flying down into the surface below the ground; landing with barley a thud. She didn t waste time standing from her crouched position, her hands shook the dirt that covered her jeans, and her feet began to retrace the steps that lead her to a set of stairs that were located at the end of the tunnel, her mind never stopped to think about the time or what was going on inside the school. No, her mind didn't even think till she reached the landing where she once again pressed her back to the wall of brick, the wall flipping her to the outside; where she now stood on the roof.
