Aaron ascended the stairs, he froze at the top. The stairway to the attic stood open. He stepped closer and almost collided with Beth who was carrying an armload of packages.

She jumped when she saw him. A package slipped from her grasp. Aaron reached out and grabbed it before it hit the floor.

"I almost forget to put the presents out," she whispered. "I finally got Jack asleep."

Aaron groaned. "I completely forgot. And I need to go over to Dave's still."

"I thought you were…"

"I forgot," he replied. "Dave's expecting me to get them tonight."

"You go, I'll put these out."

"Alright." He leaned close and kissed her before sliding the present onto the pile in her arms. "See you soon."

"I refuse to answer the question," JJ said stubbornly.

Dave's reply was cut off from a small voice in the back.

"Mommy, I have to go potty!"

JJ turned to the backseat. "Can you hold it a little bit? There's a stop a few miles from here."

"I think so," Henry replied.

Dave pressed the accelerator slightly.

"It's not an emergency," JJ said to Dave softly.

"I'd rather it stayed that way," Dave replied. "You're not the one responsible for cleaning this thing if something happens."

JJ giggled.

"Besides, there's no one else on the road, a few miles an hour will be fine."

"I trust you," JJ replied. "We can switch off. I can drive and you can sleep for a bit. You have to be exhausted."

"I'm fine," Dave stated as he eyed the rest stop sign. "I still some coffee in my thermos."

Dave slowed the vehicle and cautiously took the exit. The rest stop was empty except for a few big rigs. He parked in a spot close to the restrooms.

"Where are we," Will asked sleepily as Dave turned off the engine.

"Rest stop," JJ said. "Henry needs to go potty."

Will yawned and stretched. "I could use the bathroom myself, stretch my legs."

Aaron entered the front door of Dave's mansion. He closed the door and entered the alarm code in the pad. He turned around and took in the silence. He shook his head and headed to the guest room.

He stopped at the doorway and took in the large pile of presents sitting on the bed.

"Why didn't I bring help," he asked himself aloud. "I could have woken Garcia, she would have been happy to come here with me."

Muttering to himself, he grabbed presents and took them out to his vehicle. It took several trips for him to get them all.

He reset the alarm, stepped out and locked the door.

"Why are you being so stubborn," JJ attacked Dave as he stepped out of the restroom.

"I was born stubborn," Dave replied. "According to my Mother, I was born three days late just because I didn't want to leave."

He walked past her and headed to the SUV.

JJ marched behind him. "I'd rather not get into another accident tonight. Dave, you've had less sleep that me or Will, just let one of us drive. Please."

Dave stopped and spun around so quickly that she ran into him. "Fine. But first, you have to tell me who "SHE" is."

"Seriously?!"

Dave smirked. He turned around again, leaving JJ gaping at him as he climbed behind the wheel.

"Everything okay, ma chere?"

JJ looked at her husband and son. "Yeah," she smiled. "Dave is just being Dave."

Will snorted and carried Henry back to the SUV. JJ watched for a moment before she too climbed in, settling next to the still smirking profiler.

Aaron placed the last of the presents under the tree. With the inclusion of Dave's presents and the pile that Beth had retrieved from the attic, packages spewed out three feet in front of the tree.

He glanced at Morgan and Spencer, both sleeping soundly on the couch and recliner respectively. Upstairs, he knew Penelope was resting in Jack's bed. Blake and her husband were tucked safely at their own house. That only left Dave, JJ, Will and Henry.

He frowned as he peered out the front window. He had complete faith in Dave's ability to drive and get the things done that needed to be done. He only hoped the weather would cooperate.
