There's A Lifetime of Hope…
Chopping Wood…
"Momma," Olivia heard her three year old daughter her name a second time. Fitz slumped down next to her in the bed. She mouthed "I'm sorry," in an attempt to calm him down. She wanted tonight to be their night, but it looks like her little girl had other ideas.
"It's okay," he leaned over. "She needs you." She grabbed a shirt from the floor and placed it on her quickly.
"But so do you," she blushed feeling his hardness against her thigh.
"I can wait Sweetheart. We have a lifetime remember," he nuzzled his nose against hers. She raised her eyes, trying not to think too much into what Fitz said, but inside her heart was flying. A lifetime by his side wouldn't be enough but it would work.
"I love you," he whispered into her ear, making Olivia shiver. "So much," he finished leaving a kiss behind on her neck. Her breath hitched, feeling him so close.
"I know," Olivia kissed him quickly and then turned to her daughter. "I'm right here Emmalynn."
Fitz put his shirt on and pajama pants quickly. It was dark and she couldn't see him, but he wanted to cover up. Emmalynn stumbled over to the bed in the dark. Olivia reached out her hand and her daughter came over to the bed with her blanket and Sadie. "What's wrong?"
"Can't sleep," Emmalynn groaned rubbing her eyes. She walked over to the bed in the dark. There was just enough light so she could see Olivia.
"Why Pumpkin," her mother asked next.
"Jerry chopping wood," Emmalynn replied without missing a beat, and like it was something she said all the time. "Sounds like Fizz."
"Olivia," Fitz stared at Olivia who was biting her lip down so hard so thought she was going to draw blood. He raised his eyes, and that was all it took, sending her into the biggest fit of giggles. "This is so not fair," he groaned reaching for Emmalynn.
Emmalynn crawled into his lap, and began to laugh like Olivia. "I hate you both right now."
"I love you Fizz," Emmalynn said almost in tears.
He looked down hearing her voice crack. "Oh Sweetheart, I didn't mean it like that. I just hate the situation. Momma laughing at me, and it hurts my feelings."
"Mummy" Emmalynn pouted. "Be nice to Fizz," making him chuckle.
"I am sweetheart. I am giggling because I love Fitz very much," melting Fitz's heart right then and there. She met his eyes when she said the words and he pulled her close, kissing her lightly.
"I love you too," he paused, "both of you."
Emmalynn and Olivia snuggled into his arms for a few minutes. Emmalynn eventually asked her mom could tuck her back in. Olivia nodded and began to get out of the bed. Olivia climbs out of the bed, and Fitz places her little girl in her arms. The moment they hit the hallway, Olivia can hear Jerry snoring.
"Holy smokes," Olivia voices. She peaks her head into the bedroom and asks Fitz to come over to her. He gives her a strange look but gets up out of the bed for her anyway.
He hits the hallways and asks, 'What's wrong," but stops his train of thought when he hears Jerry. "No wonder you woke up Emmy. Was he doing that when he came inside?"
"I don't know we were kind of busy Mr. President," Olivia teased Fitz, making him blush.
"I know," Fitz threw back. He leaned in before she walked down the hallway with Emmalynn. "I'd like to finish what we started."
"Your terrible," she kissed him, sauntering off with an extra shake in her hips.
After she entered Emmalynn's room, Fitz went into Jerry's room and threw a pillow at him to quite him down. All he did was huff in his sleep and make more noise. Fitz went by the bed and tried shaking him to get him to stop. Jerry swatted him away, and rolled over temporarily stopping his snoring.
Fitz stripped out of his pajama bottoms and t-shirt as he got into bed. He placed is head on Olivia's pillow, in an attempt to see if a scent was left behind. He smiled, as he smelt her cucumber melon shampoo on the pillow. He reached over a few moments later and grabbed his tablet and began to read over a few things that needed to be looked over.
Fitz looked at the clock a while later and realized thirty minutes had passed. He slowly threw off the sheets and got into his pajama bottoms. He walked out of his room and finally into Emmalynn's. He paused at the door when he saw Olivia and Emmalynn in the bed sleeping with BOTH their elephants.
"Oh my," he sighed. He quietly walked over to the bed, and knelt down before them. He leaned on his hands and watched both mother and daughter breathe in sync. It was perfection. The rise and fall of both their chests, was the perhaps the most peaceful thing he could witness.
He looked on as Emmalynn snuggled into her mother's chest, pulling Sadie closer. Less than a minute later, Olivia did the same with her elephant he gave her. As he reached down to pick up Olivia and bring her back to bed with him, both Emmalynn and Olivia in their sleep said, "Fizz," melting his heart.
"I love you both so much," he murmured into Olivia's forehead and then Emmalynn's. "I will always be your Fizz," he grinned. He finished scooping up Olivia, picking up her own elephant also, and carried her to their bed. He slowly placed her down on their king size bed, placing the stuffed toy, on the night stand.
He climbed in on the other side and opted to keep his pajama pants on. She felt the bed shift from Fitz's weight and rolled over, edging closer to the warmth his body gives her. He slid his arm underneath her, and ran his fingers lightly across her face. "God your beautiful," he breathed out. He saw her smile in her sleep.
He didn't know how long he watched her for, until he heard "Are you going to go to sleep or watch me all night," causing Fitz to edge closer.
"I rather watch you than sleep Livy," he kissed her nose. She opened her sleepy eyes, and buried her head into the pillow, then his arm. "How am I going to sleep without you when we hit Washington?"
She placed both her hands on his face. "If you cannot sleep you call me every single night and if I have to I'll sing my man to sleep?"
"Really," he raised his eyes.
"Really," she commented back.
"What will you sing to me First Girlfriend," rubbing his thumb over her lips, aching to kiss her again.
"Amazing Grace how sweet the sound; that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now I'm found, Was blind, but now I see," she sang to Fitz.
"Livy," he choked.
She placed her fingers over his mouth. "Shh…close your eyes." Fitz did as he was told.
"Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, And grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed," she finished the second verse as Fitz's breathing began to change. By the time she completed the next section he was sleeping peacefully.
"I love you Fitz," she whimpered as he pulled her close in his sleep. She nuzzled next to him. She repeated the first section of the song one more time, as she herself fell asleep in his arms.

There's Hope…
In the two weeks since getting back from California, Olivia and Fitz did their best to spend time with one another. During the week if was difficult to see one another but on the weekend, Fitz would have the Secret Service escort them into the residence so they could spend the weekends with him, Karen and Jerry.
The weekends, even though he was President of the United States, were what Fitz lived for. He was prepping for the State of the Union but he still found the time, to spend with the kids and Olivia. Olivia insisted on going home to sleep on both Friday and Saturday nights but she knew once her man got a hold of her, he wouldn't allow her to leave.
She fought him about it the first Friday and finally gave into him. "I want to wake up to you," he mumbled into her neck, and before she knew it, she was saying yes.
"I hate you," she sighed as his lips graced her skin.
"Liar," Fitz ran his hands on the bare skin of her back. "You want me just as much as I want you Livy."
Olivia pulled his face up and stared into his eyes. "I do. So what are you going to do about it? If you are a good boy, there's hope you could get lucky tonight."
"There's hope huh," Fitz groaned into her ear.
"So what are you going to do about THIS HOPE," she began to run her hands all over his body. She traced his arms, torso, backside and the front of his pants.
"A lot of things but they'll have to wait. Our children," making Olivia melted further in his arms, "are in the other room playing. And I don't want them walking in getting more than they bargained for. And I want our first time to more special than some quickie."
Olivia loved him for thinking of the kids and wanted to make it more romantic. No they did not see them get hot and heavy yet, and wanted to keep it that way. However the passion she felt for him was like nothing she'd ever experienced, and she was a woman with needs.
"You want us to wait," Olivia surprisingly asked Fitz.
"I do. I want you Livy, and I want to make love to you. Trust me but I want everything for our first moment to be perfect. I don't want to have Emmalynn walk in on us, or Karen and Jerry hearing our first time. I want it to be perfect, romantic, and not be rush. I want to take my time Livy. I want to savoir every inch of my beautiful girlfriend."
"Oh really," she placed her hands behind her head and looked at him. "Take your time. Savior me," she raised her eyes.
"Yes," he then laid her down on the couch. Her eyes then got huge as he went down to her feet.
"What are you," she was lost as she felt his hands making circles on her legs and lips begin to kiss her skin. She felt his lips first, then his tongue licking her just enough to make her squirm. She worse a dress and now she was not sure if it was a good idea.
"Hush," Fitz quietly commanded, and dropping his voice. He spread her legs. "First I am going to kiss my way up both your legs, letting my tongue kiss you everywhere you allow me too."
Fitz then began doing exactly what he described. Olivia began to breath heavy. His hands massaged her skin, and the higher he got, he could see how much her body craved his touch, his lips. Her hips began to arch up, looking for more contact. "Then when I reach your panties," he is now over them, but her dress is on top, "I am going to pull them down and show you my superpowers."
"Superpowers," she panted.
"Yes," he moved up quickly to her face, "Open your mouth," she did what she was asked. He placed one of his fingers inside and began to move it around. She eyes went wide now knowing exactly what he was up to. Then he kissed her. He let his tongue trail inside of her mouth, just like he will do to other places.
A first his tongue only grazed her lips, lightly touching her own. Then she felt it in her cheeks, going deep into her mouth. He pulled away, leaving her panting, "What I did to your mouth with my tongue, just imagine how it feels," he reach his hand and trailed the seam on her panties, "when it's inside you."
"Oh god," she moaned as he lowered himself down her body again. "Fitz I can't," she tried to form a sentence but couldn't. This man was going to be her undoing and they were both still dressed.
"Then," Fitz said, working his mouth back up her dress. "I am going to kiss you all over your body." He ran his hands up her dress, feeling her skin. She was on fire. It was taking him every restraint, not to take her right then and there. "I want to show you how deeply I am in love with you. I want to make love to every square inch of your body, with every single piece of me."
She about came apart in his arms his hands began massaging her breasts through her bra. "Fitz," she began touching him through his pants. He placed himself in between her legs, and began moving against her panties. She had never felt this kind of fire or anticipation with any man, especially clothed.
"And," he stopped and finally perched himself over her face. His mouth attacked her neck, cheeks and sucked her ears. She was so close to coming apart in his arms, he felt it all she had to do was let go. "You just wait till I…"
"Till…," she barely recognized her voice.
He lifted his face up. "Then I am going to kiss you, so you can taste how incredible you are." He leaned down but stopped. "But this all depends how much hope I have," he kissed her nose and got up.
"Fitzgerald," she shot up. She jumped into his lap and straddled him. Fitz raised his eyes not believing such a tiny person, practically knocked him on his ass. "Right now I either want to kiss you or kill you. Urgh," she grabbed his face.
"I rather get a kiss," he leaned in.
"Oh, no you don't," she pushed him back. "Just remember Mr. President," she nibbled on his ear, and pulled down her dress off her shoulders so he could see her pink lace bra. Fitz raised his eyes, as she leaned over him, placing her breasts just out of his reach. "Payback is a bitch."
She began to pull away from him, before he could grab her. "Come here right now."
Her dress was still open. "No." She began to walk them over to his bedroom. She went through the doors and backed further away.
"Olivia," he groaned seeing her touch herself. "Get over here."
"Make me," she slipped the dress off her body. It pooled onto the floor, making Fitz's mouth water. "You want me, come and get me Mr. President. Or are you afraid you can live UP to the challenge," she said in this deep voice.
Fitz raised his eyes, loving this side of her. She began to slide her bra straps down her arms so he could finally see her topless. As he approached her, she was against the bed. He stood there staring at her gorgeous, almost naked body. "Come on big boy, what you are af…" she managed to say before Fitz launched himself in her direction.
She laughed as they toppled over on his bed. "You were saying."
"I told you I play to win. You got me here, now what," she raised her legs and wrapped them around his waist. She began to move her hips, against his pants, showing Fitz how much she needed, and desired him.
Fitz leaned down and began to kiss her. She moaned into his mouth as his tongue entered her. The movements of his tongue, matched his hands and hips. "Livy?"
"Are you sure you want to wait," she began to lift up his shirt. "You can have ALL of me right now Fitz. All you have to do is say yes."
He was struggling not giving in. God he wanted her badly but not yet. He pulled back and looked at her. "I love you." It wasn't just the words he said, but HOW he said them this time. The softness in his voice, the sincerity, but it was more. "I'm not going anywhere okay."
She stopped moving and stared at him. "I know."
"Then we are going to wait," getting up and cradling her in his arms.
"But," he kissed her lips.
"I want you Livy, and for me to say no right now is killing me, literally. But I have a special moment already in the works. You have been through so much and I want to do this for you-for us."
"What did you do," she asked holding his face.
"Just trust me Sweetheart. I want our first time to be the most romantic night of both our lives. I've never been with a woman I loved so it will be a first for me," he admitted. She raised her eyes and understood why NOW he wanted them to wait. "And I know you loved Christopher," but she stopped him.
"I did love Chris but it is DOESN'T come anywhere near to the depth I feel for you Fitz. I didn't think what we feel could ever exist. I loved him, yes. But he wasn't my soul mate, or the love of my life," she told Fitz. "I thought he was, until I met you. I loved him with all my heart, but it's nothing compared to this." She kissed him, making Fitz cry.
"Yah," he whimpered.
"Yes," she confirmed. "You ARE my everything."
"Good," he kissed her again. "So we wait, and trust me I'll more than make it worth your wide darling," he added some southern accent to it, causing them both to laugh.
"So we wait," she agreed. "Now I'm getting dressed because I hear voices coming this way and OUR kids are not seeing me this way." He wiggled his eyes as she sauntered away in nothing but her pink panties and bra. She stopped and turned to face him, buttoning up her dress. "If I were you Mister, I would calm down before anyone notices."
Fitz blushed and began taking a couple of deep breaths. "You are so sexy," he groaned out flopping backwards on the bed. Watching her get dressed was not helping him relax.
She walked over to him buttoning up the last part her dress. "Oh Mr. President you haven't seen nothing yet. Remember we have a lifetime of 'hope' you say," she raised her voice. He could just see the top of her cleavage. "The first chance I get I'll show you how good HOPE can be." And she walked off, lifting her dress slightly to show him the back of her pink panties.
"Olivia," he boomed realizing she wasn't wearing any. "Where are your," he groaned.
"Hope took them away when I got dressed. I love you Mr. President," and she winked and left him dumbfounded on the bed.
After she shut the door, and threw himself backwards on the bed, not believing the mess he just got himself into. "That woman is going to be death of me," he said out loud. "But Lord knows I love her." Fitz then went into the bathroom, splashed some ice cold water on his face.
Once he calmed down enough, he found Olivia in the living room with the kids. He sat next to Karen and Jerry while they watched TV. When the show was over, she packed up Emmalynn, and headed home. The next day she was seeing Christopher mom and wanted to be ready.

Lunch with "Nee Nee"
The next morning, Olivia got Emmalynn up and ready to bring to OPA. She was excited because she would not only get to spend time with the members of OPA today but hopefully see Nee Nee. Emmalynn knew that Nee Nee was a friend of her father's who loved him very much.
"Momma," Emmalynn asked while Olivia drove them over to her office.
"Yes Pumpkin," Olivia answered.
"I go see Nee Nee too," Emmalynn asked her mother in a voiced filled with hope. "I miss her."
Olivia had to fight the tears from coming into her eyes. She pulled the car into the garage and parked it. She turned around and looked at her little girl in her car seat. There was so much of her father in her, and his mother as well.
"Mommy sad," Emmalynn noticed a tear escape. "You miss Daddy, and need Fitz."
"I do sweetheart."
"You love both," she asked.
"Yes honey I do very much," she got out of the car and began to get her out.
"Good me too," Emmalynn smiled. "You marry Fitz," she asked her as they began to walk inside. Olivia stopped and looked at her in shock. Her daughter was wise beyond her little over three years.
"Don't know pumpkin. Do you want me too," Olivia asked not sure why she was asking this.
Emmalynn pulled her down so she could look in her mother's eyes. "Yes. Karen and Jerry be my brother and sister." Olivia nodded. "Fitz, be my new Daddy?"
Olivia heart stopped. "Um?"
"I love Fitz. It be okay," Emmalynn said to Olivia. "Come on Mommy. I see OPA."
"Okay," and Emmalynn dropped it after that and they walked inside with Olivia still in shock. As they entered her office, Emmalynn ran inside and hugged everyone. Olivia said hello and walked to her office. She sat at her desk before Stephen came in.
"You alright Liv," he asked. She told him no and explained to him what Emmalynn asked her before they came inside. Stephen sat down. "Wow."
"Yes wow," was all she said back.
"Do you think the President will ever ask you," Stephen raised his voice.
"Stephen I don't know. We haven't been together that long. I don't want to think that far ahead. I'm not ready for it," Olivia admitted to him.
"But in time could you see yourself marrying him and have more children?"
She let out a breath and looked towards the White House. To be honest, she hadn't really considered that possibly. She loved him and would love to be his wife. But the last guy she got engaged to died. Stephen knew her hesitation and walked over to her. He sat in front of her.
"Liv," she looked up. "If it HE ever asks I know you'll say yes." She began to protest but he stopped her. "That man can give you the world; a life that both you and Emmalynn deserve more than anything. IF he does, he won't die afterwards."
"You can't promise me that Stephen," she countered. "Chris tried and was killed." She got up and walked to the window.
"I know. But let's not get ahead of ourselves and live in the present okay. Enjoy being Fitzgerald Thomas Grant's woman and let him spoil you and Emmalynn. Can you do that and live in the moment? All you can do have HOPE for a future with him," she gave him the strangest look mentioning hope.
"Hope huh," Olivia asked.
"Yes Liv. Can you do that for you and Emmy," Stephen asked again. She looked past him to her daughter. She was talking Abby's, Quinn's, Harrison's heads off about school and Sophia the first. She was smiling and laughing.
She looked back to Stephen and nodded. "Good. Now let's get you out of here or you'll be late for Chris's mom." She smiled and next thing she knew she was on her way to see his mom at a nearby restaurant.
As made it to the restaurant, Olivia realized she was the first to arrive. The waiter seated her at table, and took her drink order. While she waited she scrolled through pictures of her and Fitz on her phone. But what practically brought her to tears was a picture of her and Christopher the day he proposed.

Flashback…
There was a promotion awards banquet where she had to wear a beautiful dress. It was a light blue, with a beaded bodice and chiffon bottom. There was a beautiful shall that went with it. She borrowed her mother's jewelry to bring the dress together. She smiled at the memory of Chris seeing her that night, unable to speak.
Christopher was nervous that night because not only was he getting promoted, he had a something special planned for Olivia. After they ate, she decided to go out for some air. His parents chose to attend the ceremony and he was sick of his death glares he made to her throughout the evening.
Christopher knew his father did not like Olivia, but he did not care. "I love her Dad and there is nothing you can do that can change my mind. You have to accept her or you will never have me again."
His father didn't give in willingly, but his mother stood up for their son, finally putting the man in his place. His father was cordial through the evening, making nice around the others, but as the meal came to a close, she needed some air. She walked out onto the well lighted balcony and took in its surroundings.
The air was chilly but the sky was clear. You could see the stars up in the sky and she even found a few of the constellations. "Wow, beautiful," she said to herself.
"I'd say the same thing," Chris came out behind her. He wrapped his arms around her body, pulling her close. She tensed up. "Libby what's wrong?"
"There's something I have to tell you," she turned around to face him. "I wanted to give this to you earlier but I decided to wait till now."
He opened the long rectangle box. "Libby I don't need another pen," and stopped his words when he saw what she gave him was not a pen. It was digital pregnancy test, showing the word "Pregnant."
"Hi Daddy," she smiled.
"You're pregnant," he whimpered.
"Yes," she murmured. "Five weeks and anything could go wrong," and he kissed her. He kissed her deeply and pulled away and dropped to one knee. "Chris what are you?"
"Marry me," he opened the engagement ring. Her mouth fell open in shock.
"You don't have to do this because I am pregnant," she tried to explain but he stopped her.
"I am not doing this because of the baby. I planned on proposing tonight Libby under the stars and in moonlight. I wanted to do this for a while, but something always got it the way. I love you and want to marry you. Baby or not," he placed his hands on her stomach.
"Are you sure," she cried.
"More than anything," he stood up. "I love you and want to be your husband. We can get married where ever you want. Just be my wife," he asked again.
Olivia looked up and saw Christopher's mother and father there watching them. His mom's face was wet from the tears and his father nodded in approval. He slid the ring on her finger and waited for her answer. "Yes."
He stood up and twirled her around. He screamed "I AM GETTING MARRIED AND MY FIANCEE IS HAVING MY BABY."
Olivia blushed and once he put her down he dipped and kissed her with everything he had. He told her he loved her over and over again. Then getting down on his knees he placed his head on Olivia's stomach and whispered something incredibly cute to the baby, which was Emmalynn.
She ran her fingers over his picture and felt herself miss him in this moment. Would he be proud of her, love their daughter and approve how she was raising her. She thought how different her life would have been if he lived, and what meeting Fitz would have done. Would she have still fallen in love with him, or could they have stayed friends?
"I miss you Chris," she sighed.
"He would be proud of you Olivia," she looked up and saw his mother standing before her. She got up and then both ladies sat down. "You look well," his mother spoke again.
"You do to Mrs...," she began to say but his mom stopped her.
"Olivia I am Christopher's mother. Not anyone else right now. I know we haven't seen each other in a long time but can I just be his mom right now. I miss you and Emmalynn," his mother explained.
"What about the…his father," she asked. "Does he know you came to see me?"
His mother's face sank. "No he's out of town on business," she sneered. "Good riddance because I get to see you and my grandchild." She looked around. "Where is Emmy?"
"She is at my office with my team. I am sure she is wearing them out," Olivia chuckled. She watched at his mother's face slump. "Maybe after lunch you can see her?"
"I'd like that," he mother smiled. The two women ordered, had a great conversation and opted out on dessert. "So how are you?"
"I'm good," Olivia grinned thinking of Fitz.
"I know that smile," his mother hinted. "Is there someone..finally?" When Olivia bit her lip his mother knew. "There is!"
"Yes."
"Does he love Emmalynn," his mother asked.
"Very much so," Olivia sighed. "She fights me for him all the time." Olivia laughed. "He's incredible with her."
"That's good," his mother commented. "Do you love him?"
"Yes with all my heart," Olivia replied without a hint of hesitation. She saw his mother's face and she looked happy for her. "I will never stop loving your son but this man in my life is here to stay. He won't let Emmy forget about her father. I promise you that."
His mother squeezed her hand. "Can I see her," she whimpered. "You know if his father is around he won't allow it. I miss my granddaughter." Olivia nodded. They paid their bill and Olivia walked her to OPA to see Emmalynn.
When they got off the elevator, Emmalynn ran to her mother's arms. She saw Chris's mom behind her. "Nee Nee?"
"Hi Sweet Pea," her grandmother called her. "You remember me?"
"Daddy's friend," Emmalynn stated.
"Yes Sweet Pea," wishing she could know that she was her grandmother. She knew Olivia's reasons why and hoped one day it could change. Emmalynn then took Nee Nee to an office to play and Olivia got back to work with her team. They knew the risk of having his mother in the office but it was one they were all willing to take.
"She needed to see her grandchild everyone. I will not keep her from Emmy. I don't care what Rumpelstiltskin tries," Olivia voiced with conviction. Her team agreed and would do everything possible for Emmy and Nee Nee to see each other even when his father was around.
It would be a fight but she always fought to win. Seeing her little girl so happy was worth it and so much more. As long as she had Fitz, her team, his mother on her side, and hope; she wouldn't lose and that was all that mattered in the end.

The State of the Union…
For the last week to ten days Fitz had not had the chance to see Olivia. They of course had to cancel the weekend before the address before he was busy making last minute changes/ She had to go down to Virginia to meet with a client. He had been swamped with preparing for the State of the Union address. It was his FIRST as a divorced man and he needed to make a Statement to the American People.
Now he was pacing in the preparation room before the address and was more nervous than ever. He kept switching from one tie to the other, unable to make up his mind. "Mr. President," Cyrus tried to get his attention.
Cyrus then tapped his shoulder. "Oh sorry Cy I am just nervous."
"I know you are Sir. This is your first SOTU address as a free man so to speak. Everything is going to be fine," Cyrus did his best to assure him but it wasn't working. All Fitz did was nod and walked over to a mirror. He put both ties on and neither one of them felt right.
He stood there a few minutes trying to decide when Karen and Jerry came into the room. "Dad you need to calm down," Jerry told his father. "The Agents can hear you pacing."
"Very funny Jer," Fitz gave him a half smirk.
"Dad I thought Liv was going to be here tonight," Jerry asked, getting a grunt out of Cyrus. He knew Fitz had not seen her in over a week and it was taking a toll on everyone. He was moody and snappy. He missed her, and it was beginning to show. Plus he hadn't spoken to her in a few days so that was making it worse.
"No she is still in Virginia," he huffed. "I really need her tonight."
"You're just saying that because you can't pick out a tie to wear," Karen teased. She walked up to him and neither one really worked for her either. She made a face and Fitz knew he was screwed.
"None of these work," he looked at his suit. Fitz threw them down on a nearby desk and crossed his arms in defeat. He was wearing a dark blue pin suit, with a white shirt. Each tie had blue in it to match but none of made him look the way he wanted too.
"Dad just pick a tie," Karen teased him. "No one is going to care."
"Oh yes they will," Fitz scolded. He was about to say something else when he heard…
"It's all about the optics," Olivia said coming into the room. She locked eyes with Fitz and immediately felt and watched him relax. How she missed him too. The kids came over and gave her a hug. Fitz was still standing there, unsure sure she was really there. "Now everyone out," she got them to the door.
Cyrus stood there not moving. "Get out Cyrus. Consider this handled. Now go," she started to usher him out the room.
"Liv he's needs a…." Cyrus began to say but Olivia raised her eyes and he knew she could handle Fitz from there. "It's good your back. I can't take anymore of President Piss Pot over there," and he walked out the door.
She turned to Fitz who finally walked around the other side of the desk that was in the room. Olivia placed her purse on a table, crossed her arms and stared him down. She watched him shift uncomfortably which made her grin even more. "President Piss Pot huh," she raised her eyes. "Really?"
He shrugged his shoulders but couldn't say anything but he couldn't believe that she was really there. As she took off her coat, he noticed she was wearing a white Michael Kor's dress with black lace around the waist. It was sleeveless and her hair was in long curls, tied back only slightly.
His mouth dropped open just staring at her beauty. He began to walk to her, because he was a man starved for her love, but she stopped him. "Stay there," she commanded.
Fitz raised his eyes, and watched her walk over to him, swaying her hips. Olivia's hands were behind her back as she approached Fitz. Her eyes were zoned in on only him, making him shiver. The intensity of her gaze, was making Fitz's stomach flutter.
"I missed you," Fitz whispered.
"Quiet," she commanded. Fitz raised his eyes. Then from behind her back she pulled out a red tie, and motioned for him to lean forward. He moved his head down just enough to get the tie over his head and then tie it perfectly around his collar. Her cheeks flushed as she watched Fitz keep his hands in his pockets, so he would not touch her.
"Livy," he moaned as she massaged her hands over his chest. She dragged him over to the mirror and stood next to him.
"Perfect," she smiled.
"Livy," he breathed her name. He missed her so much. He could feel the tension growing between them and if he didn't do something, he would not make it through the State of the Union address. Fitz started to tell her he loved her but she stopped him.
"Quiet," and pulled him for a kiss he wouldn't dare forget.

TBC..Okay my darlings that is it. I hope you enjoyed it. I know they didn't have sex yet but I did give you some pretty HOT pre-smut which I am getting used to writing. I know SOME of you think they should be heating up the sheets but it will happen when I am ready to write it not before. But it's soon. Our POTUS has something very special coming up for them don't worry.
Anyway leave me your #Crumbs on the way out and be looking for another update this week on a different fic. Also my Xmas story should be premiering soon. Be on the lookout.
Peace, Love and Pumpkins Me's
PS. Thank God for TG because that phone call was HOT! Blame him for the #Pre-smut. LOL
