A ebony hedgehog was very busy in the kitchen. He had so much to do to prepare for his dear friend, Amy's come back from college. He had gathered all their close friends; Rouge, Knuckles, Sonic, Tails, Cream, Cheese, Manic, Sonia, Blaze, and Silver for welcome back party for her.
He almost had everything done except for the cake that was baking in the oven. He waited patiently by it, wanting for it to be perfect for the bright female when she arrived. Shadow really didn't want to burn it because that will just ruin everything. "Faker you know you don't have to pace in order for it to cook faster, all you gotta do is just wait." Sonic joked while chewing on mini hot dog at the wooden kitchen table. Shadow rolled his eyes and said, "Shut up poser." Examining the mess the blue hedgehog was making with his messy eating skills, his leftover seem to land on the waxed floor. Immediately, the ebony former grab hold of a mop and cleaned it up before grabbing the hotdog out of Sonic's hands and discarding it in the trash can. "Hey! I was eating that!" Sonic whined, knowing full well he was making a mess, but he didn't care. He didn't see the point in the party at all, all Amy was to him was a bother. He wasn't ready for her to bug him again by chasing him around the city.
Amy returning seemed to have a opposite effect on Shadow, it excited him. He couldn't wait for her return, you could tell by this whole party itself. Finally ting! The cake was done and out of the oven. He sat the cake on the table and quickly applied icing to it.
Ding! Dong! The door rung and Shadow unnecessarily chaos control to the door before opening it, there she was…
The one the party was for, Amy Rose. "Shadow! So glad to see-" She was left unfinished in her sentence when the male embraced her in bone breaking hug. Shadow was the one who was the most glad to see her.
