I don't own Teen Titans.

Hey everyone. Just for those who have read this story before. I'd suggest reading from chapter 1 again as it's been a while since I started this story and I've changed parts of it as I've had a different idea to where I want this story to go. Well I hope you enjoy and happy reading.

Saturday morning, 07.54

"How is she?" Jinx asked as Raven stepped out of the medical wing.

"Have you been sat out here all night?" Raven asked looking at the pink haired women. "You look exhausted."

"Yeah," Jinx nodded with a light yawn. "I couldn't sleep."

"Why don't you go and try get your head down for a bit?" Raven asked as she went to leave before Jinx say up in the chair.

"What about Cathy?" She asked as Raven raised an eyebrow.

"Cathy?" Raven repeated looking at Jinx. "You mean the Rider?"

"Erm... yes," Jinx nodded feeling suddenly put on the spot. "I found out she's called Cathy," she added with a light shrug trying to act normal... Jinx normal anyway.

Raven watched Jinx for a moment before talking again, "Why are you so worried about her?"

"I'm not," Jinx shrugged with an uneasy grin while she rolled her eyes. "It's just, I did squash our only chance at stopping Gurter with a ton of crates and so I feel kinda guilty and..."

"Gurter?" Raven interrupted as Jinx mentally slapped herself. "Jinx?" Raven asked taking a step forwards and giving her a stern look.

"We met last night, before the attack," Jinx blurted out. "We was in a bar and I was feeling crappy about Wally when she bumped into me and we got talking and she was really nice and funny and we kissed in the park..."

"Kissed in the park?" Raven repeated looking taken back.

"And now I find out that she's being controlled by Gurter who's that huge guy who wants to destroy the city," Jinx carried on flopping back down into her seat.

"Why didn't you tell us this sooner?" Raven asked simply.

"I don't know, everything happened so fast," Jinx growled flopping her head back to rest on the wall. "I'm such a bad hero," she added with a sigh.

"You're not a bad hero," Raven said kneeling down in front of Jinx. "Its just being a hero isn't always easy and strait forward," she said as Jinx lifted her head to look at Raven who gave her a light, reassuring smile. "The Rider or Cathy, is fine, she's healing at an amazing rate and should be back to full health within a few hours."

"Thanks," Jinx smiled back in relief.

"I think you need to be the one to talk to her about the situation though and find out what's going on," Raven said standing up.

"I'm sorry, what?" Jinx asked looking confused.

"Well she might be more happy talking to you seeing as you've spoke... and kissed her before," Raven added with a smirk. "Plus, I've been in that room with her for hours and I couldn't get a word out of her."

"Well, you're not really the most person friendly," Jinx grinned. "No offence I mean."

"It's weird though, I feel like I've met her before," Raven said more to herself as Jinx looked at her confused. "Just go in and talk to her. Get her to realise that we only want to help her and stop Gurter. I'm going to go talk to Robin and no doubt he will want words too so you wont have long in there but I'll stall him as much as I can."

"Thanks Rae," Jinx smiled as Raven gave a small nod before turning and leaving.

Jinx headed to the door that led into the medical wing and paused for a moment. She looked at her reflection in a window in the door and she admittedly didn't look her best. bags under her eyes and bits of her hair sticking up all over made her feel selfcontious about her appearance till she shook her head.

"Come on Jinx, since when did you care about what you look like?" Jinx said to herself taking a deep breath as she began to open the door. "Probably the same time I started to get really nervous about seeing a girl," she added in a whisper.

She entered the medical office that had all the equipment and supplies neatly put on shelfs and in draws. Three doors led to three room, each Jinx knew we're identically fitted with beds and monitors for patients. It was obvious which room held Cathy as the light was on in room 1. She headed over and pushed the door open slightly. Inside was Cathy laid out on a bed with her back to Jinx. A large black wing was outstretched across the room with a splint keeping the broken bone in place. Her second wing was draped over the front of her body. Jinx moved round to get a better look .

"Hey," Cathy said as Jinx looked up to see the women look back at her.

"Hey..." Jinx added unsure what else to say.

"Got to admit, I usually go on a few dates before a girl can get me into bed," Cathy grinned as Jinx rolled her eyes but a smile still made it's way on her face.

"I really am sorry," Jinx added walking fully round the other side of the bed near a chair. "I'm just new at the whole saving people thing. Being bad is just so much easier. I do it without even trying most of the time."

"Well I heal really well so I guess this is good practice," Cathy chuckled as the two fell quiet. "You want to know about Gurter?"

"Yes please," Jinx nodded, glad Cathy brought the subject up.

"Are you going to hand me over to him?" She asked as Jinx looked surprised.

"No, why would we do that?" Jinx asked as Cathy gave a light shrug. "But you do know him and he's wrecking Jump City. We need to know how to stop him."

"I doubt you can stop him," Cathy said looking more serious. "Best thing would be to evacuate the city and get as fare away as you can."

"We can't do that," Jinx said light shaking her head. "We got to stay and protect the city, it's our jobs plus, I'm sure we can handle him if you help us. Have you seen the Titan's in action? These dudes have gone against the worst kind of bad guys, pressent company included," she said pointing to herself.

"I know," Cathy said with a nod. "But the Titan's arnt known for killing. Gurter's race can't feel pain and they don't tire easily either. It's like hitting a living punching bag."

"That's why the Titans we're struggling to take him down," Jinx said thinking.

"The only way to stop him is to kill him else he'll just keep going," Cathy said as Jinx frowned. "He won't stop until he uses his last breath."

"I'm sure there's another way," Jinx shrugged. "What about this amulet thingy? How is it connected to you?"

"It's my very soul," Cathy started trying to think of how to word it. "It's a way to control me."

"So can he use it to find you?" Jinx asked as Cathy nodded.

"Its how he knew I was on this planet and in this city," Cathy added. "I can also feel it too so that's how I knew he was here. I've been hiding out on this planet close to three years now trying not to use too much power. I thought maybe he had gotten bord of looking for me and left me alone by now."

"And yet he hasn't and he seriously wants you back," Jinx said thinking. "Why? What's so special about you... I mean, I can see why he'd be interested in you cause you're really cute and funny... I mean cool and funny... but you are cute too," Jinx rambled on as Cathy watched her with a grin.

"You think I'm cute?" Cathy winked as Jinx fell silent and her cheeks flared bright pink. "You're rather cute yourself when you blush."

"I erm... this is going off topic," Jinx managed to say although still blushing like crazy. "What does he want with you?" Cathy didn't answer. "Come on, we want to help but we can't if we don't know what's going on."

"This is going to sound completely insane," Cathy said looking unsure and worried.

"Try me," Jinx smiled back. "I've seen several shades of insane in my left already. I doubt you can say anything that bad."

"Okay... I'm one of the four Horsemen," Cathy started as Jinx didn't really look like she understood. "Cathy is a name I took when I came to this planet but I'm more commonly known as War," Cathy said as Jinx still remained silent for a moment.

"Okay..." Jinx managed while looking unsure what else to say.

"You don't believe me," Cathy sighed.

"No it's not that, it's just a lot to take in," Jinx admitted. "So you symbolise War?"

"No, I am War itself," Cathy said not looking at Jinx anymore. "I ride the Red horse, I am able to summon an army at will and I can no longer count the lives I have taken across these Galaxy's. Gurter got hold of my amulet and had been using me to take over worlds and become an all powerful leader until I managed to escaped."

"Oh wow, okay," Jinx said with a nod as Cathy finally looked back at her. Jinx didn't know what else to do or say at this point so began to head for the door. "I gotta go talk to the team."

"You're freaked out?" Cathy asked looking upset as she watched Jinx reach the door.

"No, maybe... yeah?" She said turning to look at Cathy. "This is a lot to process right now."

"I get it," Cathy said with a light nod as she turned and laid back down on the bed.

Jinx exited out of the room. She slowly made her way out of the medical wing thinking about everything Cathy had told her. as she opened the door to reach the hall way she was met with the Titans. She wasn't really sure what to say at first till Robin spoke.

"We saw it all from the monitors," he said simply as Jinx gave a nod. of course he did, all medical rooms had security cameras installed.

"So she's a Horseman?" Cyborg asked.

"What is this Horseman?" Starfire asked looking unsure.

"The four Horsemen of the Apocalypse," Raven said simply. "Death, Famine, War, and Pestilence. I know of them but never heard of this amulet to control them."

"Well if she's worried Gurter will controk her, I doubt we'll get much help from her," Robin said thinking.

"Maybe we could find one of the other Horsemen to help instead?" Beastboy asked with a shrug.

"You don't go finding Horsemen," Raven said passing the idea. "They find you."

"Then we need to figure out a way to stop him ourselves," Robin said.

"Well we still have a week to figure somthing out before he returns," Cyborg pointed out.

"Right," Robin nodded. "Cyborg, I want you to come up with plans for a cage or somthing powerful enough to hold him. Beastboy can help. Raven, Jinx, I want you two to get any and every bit of information you can on the Horsemen or Gurter's race. Maybe find a weakness or away to stop that amulet and Starfire and I will keep the city safe in the mean time."

"Got it," Cyborg nodded as the others gave a nod.

"Titans, go," Robin finished as the team split in three teams and headed off in their own directions.
