I don't own teen titans.

The huge creature lashed out with its claws. Robin was quick to dive out of the way to avoid the attack as Starfire sent a rally of starbolts it's way. It didn't seem to faze the creature as it managed to grab the princess and throw her across the room into a wall. Raven used her powers to lift up a large chunk of rock that came out of the wall Starfire had slammed into and collided it into the beasts side. It knocked the creature down to the ground but it wasn't long getting up. Beastboy as a T-rex, then charged over and clashed into it. They began to fight, neither getting the upper hand until Cyborg fired his cannon several times at its back. It fell to its knee but then tripped the T-rex over, grabbed his tail and lifted him up before slamming him back down on to Cyborg. It did it again but a black shield fell over Cyborg. Beastboy turned back to his true form, the creature then dropped Beastboy on the shiled as Jinx used her hexes on him to force the beast back and away from her team mates.
"You Okay?" Jinx asked as Raven lowered the shield to check on Cyborg and the green changeling.
"I think I need a time out," Beastboy said looking worn, beaten and very tired.
"Yeah, me too man," Cyborg agreed rubbing his head.
"You think Gurter will give you a time out?" Robin asked jumping back into the fight, slinging several birdarangs at the creature that exploded on contact.
"We've been at this for like, a hour now though man," Beastboy moaned standing up.
"I think he's right," Cathy said as she headed over to them and gave the huge shadow warrior a quick signal to stop. "You said the other Titans would be here in a few more days."
"We don't have time though," Robin pointed out.
"But everyone's going to be in no shape to fight if you keep pushing us this hard," Raven said taking a step forwards. "Everyone's too tired," she added as Robin looked over at the Titans, all who looked exhausted.
"Okay, we'll call that a night," Robin nodded giving in so Cathy sent the shadow warrior away. Sometimes, he didn't know when to stop and he knew he did it. It was a habit from back in the day while training with Bruce. Even Bruce often had to tune him down a peg. "We'll carry this on tomorrow evening."
"This is most welcome news, friend," Starfire said floating over to them with bags under her eyes. "I am quite the tired."
"Yeah man, Im in serious need to get my batteries recharged," Cyborg said looking at his scanners.
"And I need my beautie sleep," Beastboy nodded with a yawn.
"You can say that again," Jinx grinned walking over to them as Beastboy stuck his tongue out at her.
"I'm surprised your even still going yourself, Jinx," Raven said as the team began to make thier way out of the training room. "How many hours sleep have you managed to have these last couple of days?"
"That's the magic of coffee," Jinx said as her eyes darted round. "Drink enough and you can just keep going and going and going and going!"
"You will get to a point where you're going to crash you know," Raven said with a raised eyebrow at Jinx's hyped up caffeine fuled state.
"When that time comes, I'll be in bed tucked up nice and warm," Jinx chuckled to herself as Raven gave a nod, unsure if her friend had finally snapped. "Nice and warm."
"Oh, Okay then," Raven said as Cathy caught up with them.
"Hey, quick question," Cathy said to Raven who turned to face her while Jinx carried on. "Just wondering, what happened to my bag when you guys brought me here? There wasn't much in it but clothes but..." she started before the sound of Jinx falling face first on to the floor got their attention. "Is she snooring?"
"I think she finally crashed," Raven said although she couldn't help the amused smirk from forming. "We'll get her to bed I think," Raven added using her powers to lift the young witch.
"Ah, she looks rather cute asleep," Cathy said looking at the sleeping form. "Even with the drool."
"What ever floats your boat," Raven shrugged as they headed out and towards the elevator. They stood in quiet till the elevator stopped. "So... you and Jinx?" Raven started as the doors opened and they headed into the hallway.
"What about us?" Cathy asked not looking at the half demon.
"She likes you," Raven added simply.
"Yeah I know," Cathy said with a nod. "I like her too... even when she's breaking my bones."
"Just, don't hurt her Okay?" Raven asked as they reached a door with 'Jinx' written on the front in pink pen. "She just had a bad break up and as her friend, I feel I must warn you that if you do hurt her, I will use my powers to rip you limb from limb and force you to watch as I remove each of your organs in alphabetical order before sending you into a never ending void of darkness."
"Wow, that was very... detailed," Cathy said looking at Raven as Raven looked back with her usal emotionless expression. "I will try my best though, promise," she said as Raven opened the door. Raven headed in as Cathy waited outside. She put her into bed just removing her boots before exiting back out where Cathy was still stood. "So... wanna get a drink or something? Bit early for bed and I'd feel weird sitting on my own here."
"I think I could do with a tea," Raven nodded as they headed to the elevator.
"Oh and by the way, your dad's a real dick," Cathy said as they reached the elevator and Raven hit the button.
"I think I see why Jinx likes you," Raven smirked as the doors opened before the two headed in.
Light was seeling in through a crack in the curtains when Jinx finally stirred. She opened an eye to look around at her surroundings before following suit with the second one. She was in her room. She couldn't remember how she got here but it was hard to think with the head ache she had. Rolling on her side, she felt around for her side draw before opening it and searching for a pack of aspirin. She didn't want to make the head ache worse so prompt for not switching the lights on. Finally finding the packet, she popped two of them out and swallows them only to wish she hadn't as her mouth was dry.
"Oh God," she mumbled feeling around for the glass she kept on her nightstand only to knock it over. "No no no."
She finally gave in and switched the bed side lamp on before picking up the now empty glass and heading to the shower room to get a drink. She managed to sort out her dry mouth and brought in a towel for the split water, it was only then she saw the time.
"Jesus, it's almost eleven," she said as she rushed to get ready. "Robin is going to kill me!"
Twenty minutes later she was dressed and ready and just made it down stairs to the main room but all was quiet. She headed into the kitchen to still find no one in sight.
"You Okay?" Cathy asked from behind making Jinx jump.
"Don't scare me like that," Jinx warned clenching her chest. "Where is everyone?"
"Some slime guy is trashing the city so they went out to stop him," Cathy said simply as she sat down on a sofa.
"Plasmus?" Jinx asked as Cathy shrugged.
"Sure?" She nodded not really too sure on the name. "How you feeling by the way? You hit the floor pretty hard."
"That'll explain the headache," Jinx said to herself before heading over to sit with Cathy. "I'm Okay, a bit more awake today anyway."
"Good to hear," Cathy said with a smile. "You hungry? I figured out how to use both the kettle and toaster this morning so I can whip you up a mean toast and coffee."
"Oh, sounds very posh," Jinx mocked with a grin. "Was you a master chef at some point in your life?"
"No," Cathy chuckled. "But I was working in a jewellery store not that long ago. One you had robbed about 8 months ago may I add?"
"Oh," was all Jinx could say as she suddenly felt horrid inside. "I'm sorry," she added after a short pause. "I was awful back then. I never thought about anyone but myself."
"Don't be sorry," Cathy shrugged. "They got a nice pay off and I got to meet you for the first time, didn't I."
"Wait, you was there?" Jinx asked looking confused.
"Yep," Cathy nodded.
"Why didn't you try to stop us?" Jinx asked confused. "Surly you could have easily stopped us."
"I was in hiding from a giant alien at the time, I couldn't brake my cover," Cathy said simply. "Surprised you don't remember me seeing as you asked me which of the two priceless necklaces looked best on you. It was defentally the Pink Star Diamond by the way. Went with your eyes."
"I tried not to pay attention to who I was robbing in truth," Jinx explained. "Once you realise your hurting real people with real lives, it makes it harder to hurt them."
"Wow," Cathy said getting Jinx attention. "So you've always been a nice person just trapped in a bad job."
"I was a horrible person," Jinx corrected looking upset at her past self. "I hurt so many people with my actions."
"But you just admitted that you had a conscience the entire time," Cathy said putting a hand on Jinx's shoulder. "Bad people don't pitty or feel remorse for their actions. They just hurt others without feeling hurt themselves. You are not a bad person, Jinx."
Jinx couldn't help smile at the kind words. She looked at Cathy as Cathy looked back and it was maybe one of the first times she actually felt that joining the Titans was the right call. Without thinking, Jinx leaned forwards to capture Cathy's lips. Her sudden nerves depleted once Cathy began to kiss back and the kiss deepened as Cathy pulled Jinx closer. The two were so engrossed with each other at that point that they never noticed the door open till...
"Wow dude," Beastboy said as the two quickly separated and turned to see the Titans and Kid Flash looking at them. "You turned Jinx gay, unlucky man," Beastboy joked as Kid Flash just stood in the door way looking at Jinx and Cathy.
