prologue The Day before darkness
it was just another typical day for the citizens of Mobius or so they thought until one particular day would spell the end of its peaceful existence for all eternity
it was a sunny day for the citizens for the people living out their lives families enjoying time with each other children playing with each other with their friends The laughter of joy and love could be seen and heard all throughout the cities and neighborhoods
for one particular i individual was enjoying his usual runs around the city eating chili dogs and giving running smiles and waves at the citizens he comes across he was enjoying his Time of peace
Who was this individual you ask why it's none other than sonic the hedgehog enjoying a little run around the city to pass the time while his arch nemesis Dr. Eggman was quiet for at least this one has the particular day
until he stopped and decided to take a break in one of the parks on a bench looking up at the sky on how peaceful it is today

Man Eggman has been awfully silent today I wonder what he's up to nah I don't need to worry about that because if I know him he's just probably hatching up a plan to get rid of me as per usual heh when will he ever learn that he could never beat me like this he stretches his legs and does some squatting well that's enough sitting around for today I better head home

and went inside his house his home was just like any particular home in Mobius although he was given multiple awards for saving them multiple times from the evil doctor He chuckled a little bit at the times he bested the doctor In his skins he has gotten so many trophies and awards that he actually made a trophy case for himself
he says to himself maybe I should go for a run on Greenhill next time as he went into his room and laid down on his bed putting a blanket over his stomach covering himself up sleeping soundly
blissfully unaware that his little run on Greenhill will have disastrous consequences
