They entered the great hall where everyone, Wisps and Mobians alike were all eating together. Omega walked with Silver "You can't keep bringing them here. It's too dangerous. Trappers are getting closer by the day". Silver wasn't taking him seriously "We can handle them. We have the Alpha. Ain't that right, bud?". They passed Tikal who was arm wrestling a wolf. She quickly won and the two laughed. Silver patted Omega on the back "Omega, relax. We did it. The first Wisp-Mobian utopia. We made the dream a reality" "Your dream. My dream is less crowded and peaceful". They passed a cauldron of soup that Omega noticed a White Wisp was bathing in "Right now, I'm just glad I don't eat" "Omega, you're not fooling anybody" "I know you love them". Cyzer went up to the cauldron and made a growl that scared the Wisp out of the soup. Omega and Silver joined Tikal and Blaze at a table "I admire their capacity for destruction. But you're supposed to be the generation that leads us into the future". Omega sat down in between Blaze and Silver pushing them away. Shard and Jet were in the middle of a food fight. Wave was getting drunk and Rotor was carefully feeding Spark. A tomato hit Omega "You require unity". He pulled Blaze and Silver into a headlock "There is a way to do that. Marriage". Everyone at the table stopped "The M word. Gross. Unless it's me" Wave said. Omega released Silver and Blaze "Royal couples statistically rule better". He turned to Blaze "Marry him, please. You're the only organic here with any sense. With you both there might be a chance". Blaze got up "Wow, not awkward at all, Omega". Omega left as well to try and talk her into it and Jet took his place next to Silver "Well, that's a definitive no. Look, if you need a shoulder to cry on…". He pulls Silver's head onto his shoulder "Just lean on mine and cry into my soft, full feathers" "Uh, thank you, Jet. Thank you very much". Rutan came up behind him and cleared his throat. Silver pushed Jet away "Rutan, Son of Finitevus. What's the report?" "Two more trapper barges spotted in the strait" "So we go after them". Silver then realises Omega is glaring at him "What?" "One day, you're going to pick a fight you can't win".
Elsewhere a massive fleet of Trapper ships surrounded an island. Above the fleet a large platform was being carried by Wisps. Four Rockets were tied to the corners of the platform holding it up and two Hover Wisps were steering it. On the platform a red male echidna wearing a cloak stood. On either side of the platform was a Wisp who was in a possessed form despite not having a host. The Platform was put down on a courtyard on the island. The echidna stepped off and walked towards a gate that was being opened. Multiple guards stepped aside clearly afraid. The echidna entered an arena where Mobians were struggling to put Wisps in cages. In the centre of the arena people were examining a map "The Wisp riders attacked us here, of the eastern strait". The Echidna laughed "My dear warlords. How goes world conquest?". He removes his hood revealing his left eye and arm to be cybernetic. The bear lord laughed "Ha, Kragok, my old friend. Thank you for coming". He tried to hug him but Kragok's Ivory Wisp zapped him back. Kragok looked to the others "A year since Eclipse's defeat, and no further along with your wisp army, I see" "You can thank the young chief of Onxy for that" a Bat lord said. Kragok examined the map "Shadow's boy?" "Him and his peace loving Wisp Hosts continue to raid our ships and steal our Wisps". Kragok nodded "Mm. That does sound like a nuisance. But I'm in the business of killing Wisps, not retrieving them". He started walking away but the bear followed him "But, Kragok…" "That idiot boy has done all of the work for you, gathering the Wisps in one place. What could you possibly need me for?" "Because the Alpha of the flock is a Laser". Kragok stopped and his face twitched in anger before he composed himself "Not possible". A lizard lord smirked "It seems one slipped through your fingers". The bear moved in front of the lizard "Look, Onyx's Wisps will follow the Alpha, so we'll pay you to capture him and bring the flock to us. We even have your favourite bait" he gestured to a cage. Kragok approached the cage and saw that inside was a scared Laser in it's Feral state except instead of black it was white. Kragok looked surprised "A female?" "So, so we have a deal, old friend?". There was a noise and a Frenzy broke free from it's chains "Watch out!". It charged and everyone got out of the way except Kragok. He calmly turned around and his robot arm fired a laser that killed the Frenzy immediately. It fell dead at his feet "When all is said and done, this young chief will bring me the Laser. They don't have a leader, just a boy".
A small young Silver was being held by Shadow as they looked over a cliff at the village "Silver, this is Onyx, son. It's our home. It was the home of your grandparents, and their grandparents, before them. And it's my job, as chief, to protect us, Silver. And one day, when you're all grown up, that job will be passed onto you. And it's very important, son, because out there, beyond the sunset, lies the home of the wisps". Silver looked out at the sea "Wow!" "Aye! Legends tell of ships that sail too close to it only to drop into this great portal, never to be seen again. But those sailors who turned back told tales of a great waterfall and Wisps guarding an entrance to a hidden world. Not just a nest, Silver, but a whole planet connected to ours where all Wisps come from". Silver looked up at his father "Even Lasers". Shadow laughed "Especially Lasers" "Those are scary" "Don't you worry. One day we'll find the portal and seal it up so that people and Wisps will fight no more".
