"Mikuo, I think we're already far enough." Rin finally spoke up after a couple of minute of running. Mikuo finally screeched to a stop at the side and panted. He glanced behind him to make sure his insane sister wasn't following anymore and Mikuo sighed in relief when he saw no teal haired demon.

"Mikuo, would you mind?" Rin deadpanned. Mikuo blinked and looked down at Rin, realizing he was carrying her. "Oh! Right, sorry." He said and gently placed Rin down.

Rin lightly patted her skirt to get rid of any wrinkles and ran her hand through her hair. After all that running, her hair was a little messy. She then sighed. "Alright now that that's over...I'll be leaving." She span around and began walking away.

"Huh? Wait a minute!" Mikuo gaped and chased after her. "What do you mean leave?"

"Since Miku isn't here to drag me around now, I might as well go home now. I mean the only reason I'm here was because she kidnapped me to go shopping after all."

"W-Well yeah but you're just going to leave right after I just save you? That's kinda harsh, you know."

"Well, I am thankful that you manage to get me out of there." Rin paused and turned to him. "But why did you grab me anyways? You could've easily escape from your sister on your own."

Mikuo paused and blushed lightly as he sheepishly scratched the back of his head. "Um Just...because." He said simply. Rin frowned. That didn't really answer her question.

Rin sighed heavily. "Ahhh, why did I have to be forced out of the house like this?" She groaned to herself. She had so much to study for. Not to mention, she had a project to do with that unreliable blond hair idiot which they barely started and it was due on Monday!

"I just wanna study and spend the rest of the day in my room..." Rin grumbled and Mikuo shrugged.

"You know my sister's shopaholic tendency. Shopping comes first for her before she could care -which she doesn't- about what you want to do." Mikuo said. "Besides you always stay in your room the whole day unless its a school day. I think you should come out of that house some more."

Rin glared at him. "Hey I do come out of my room once in awhile and even if I don't, I don't have to be forced out like this to just do some shopping!"

Mikuo shrugged once more. "If you say so, Rinny. If you say so." He dismissed and Rin pouted. Mikuo smirked at her in response. "Anyways you wanna hang out with me just for today?"

Rin raised a brow. "Huh?" Mikuo smiled. "Well, since we're already out and have some free time. Let's go and have some fun." He grinned.

Rin blinked at him and thought about it. Well, maybe she could spend the day with Mikuo. She does need the break but she had to work on the project since t was due two days from now. Rin frowned as she debated with herself. "I don't know, Mikuo..." She muttered with a troubled look.

Mikuo frowned slightly then sighed. "Alright." He said. "I wouldn't want to have some fun with a boring, bookworm. After all, all work and no play makes Rinny a dull girl."

Rin glared. "Alright, Hatsune-kun." She grunted. "I'll go with you and show that I'm not that boring."

Mikuo grinned. "Okay then, Kagami-chan." He then step aside and ushered her deeper into the mall. "Shall we go?"

Rin rolled her eyes and huffed as she walked past Mikuo and into the mall. Mikuo chuckled before he followed after her into the mall.

"So I hope you don't mind but..." Mikuo suddenly began. "Why do you hate Len?"

Rin paused from her orange flavored ice cream and lifted her head to him in confusion. Currently, they were at an ice cream shop. At first, Mikuo wanted to treated Rin for ice cream but then remembered that Miku had spend all his money on her shopping so Rin ended up being the one to pay.

Rin raised a brow at him. "What are you talking about, Mikuo?"

Mikuo shrugged. "I'm just saying...You can be pretty harsh on Len sometimes so did something happen between the two of you." He said as he ate his chocolate ice cream.

Rin fell silence at that and stared down at her ice cream. "I...don't hate Len." She said, taking another spoon of ice cream. Its true. She didn't hate Len. She just...dislike him.

"So you like him?" Mikuo said and Rin choked a bit on her spoon. "Wha- No!" She exclaimed.

"Then you hate him?"

"It's-!" Rin paused then sighed. "Its complicated." She wasn't sure why Mikuo would ask her such a thing all of a sudden and she definitely wasn't sure how to explain it. She didn't like Len but in the same time, she didn't hate him. She wasn't sure how to explain how she felt about him.

There was a slight pause between them before Mikuo chuckled awkwardly. "Right. Sorry for the sudden question." He apologized. "I was just wondering since...you two are childhood friends and the way you were acting with Len around...I can't help but wonder."

Rin snorted loudly. "Well, the way I see it. Len is just a no-good player and he should quit messing around with other girls if he knows what's good for him." She said as she ate another spoon of ice cream. "Besides what's so good about that guy? He can't be that amazing."

Mikuo then laughed. "Well Rin, I'm sure its obvious already why everyone loves the guy." He explained. "He has an attractive face and an athletic body. Plus he's the life of the party and the ace of the basketball team. Not to mention, he's from a rich high class family. What's not to like about a guy like that?"

"Because his deplorable qualities outweigh the good ones." Rin deadpanned as she thought about it. Its true that Len is very attractive, is a party animal, and is the star of the basketball team but all of these are outweighed by the fact that he is nothing more but a flirt, a player, not to mention he's childish, weird, annoying, and most of all, a no-good pervert.

Mikuo sweatdropped at that and smiled awkwardly. "Well, he just has some charisma I guess."

"Charisma?" Rin snorted. "More like brainwashing." As she ate her ice cream, her thoughts couldn't help but wonder back to that annoying player and wonder what was he doing at this moment. He was probably messing around and partying somewhere with girls squealing around him.

It was annoying the more she thought about it. That guy always has the time to party while she was busy studying. He never stops and thinks about his studies. He always tends to laze around everyday...though, his grades aren't bad at all. In fact, he could probably rival her grades if he studied more. (Though the thought annoys her even more since he is close to rivaling her grade when she is trying hard to study while he does nothing!)

She took one last bite of her ice cream before placing down her spoon with a satisfied sigh. "That was delicious." Rin said happily. Mikuo smiled. "Glad you like it...though you're the one who paid for it."

The two left the ice cream shop and Rin looked around. "Its been a while since I last got some ice cream." She said. "Perhaps I'll go do some window shopping next."

Mikuo blinked. "Why the sudden urge? Didn't you want to go home a few minutes ago?" Rin then turned to Mikuo and shrugged. "I just thought that while I'm here, I might as well look around...but I'm not buy anything." Rin quickly added the last part.

"I see." Mikuo responded. "Well, how about I come with you?"

Rin raised a brow. "You want to follow me around while I just look at stuff I'm not going to buy in the first place?" Mikuo shrugged in response. "Hey, its better than you buying everything in sight and having me carry it like my sister."

Rin thought about it for a moment. "Alright but you better not start complaining about being bored or anything like that, okay?" She pointed out and Mikuo rolled his eyes nodded. "Yes, ma'm."

With that said, Rin turned and walked into the mall with Mikuo following from behind. They chatted as they strolled around the mall. Personally, Rin thought this was a lot more relaxing than their last 'date'.

Rin wondered why she had felt so nervous when they went out on a 'date' (if that can even be called that). Perhaps she felt pressured at the time since she had never been on a date before. Honestly, this was a lot better for her.

Rin hummed as she stared up at one of the display windows. "Mikuo, do you think-" She turned around and blinked when she realized she talking to nothing. "Mikuo?" She looked around in the sea of people. "Mikuo? Where are you?" Rin stepped forward and looked around with a frown. Where on earth was he?

"Hey Rin." A familiar voice said behind her. Rin paused and sighed. "Geez Mikuo, where did you-" She stopped when she saw a plastic juice cup with a straw in front of her face. She blinked and looked up at Mikuo who had another juice cup in his hand. "Got you a drink." Mikuo stated.

"How...did you even manage to buy this?" Rin couldn't help but question as she took the cup from him. Mikuo smiled. "I just went up to this juice stand and ask what kind of drinks do they have." He explained. "It was weird. The girl behind the stand just turned red and said I could pick any juice for free. It was nice of her though." Mikuo shrugged as he grabbed the straw in his juice cup and sipped.

Rin looked down at her drink then at Mikuo. Well, she couldn't blame that person. Rin will admit Mikuo is a very attractive guy so it was actually really understandable. If anything Mikuo's looks could definitely rival Len's-

Rin turned bright red at that. Wait a minute...Did she just thought that was Len was...attractive? Of all the people, she could compare Mikuo with...why did it have to be...

Well honestly...Len is indeed a very good looking but even so...why did she think about Len first? She could've thought about other people, maybe even celebrities and idols but...

Rin shook her head and grabbed the straw to take a sip. Her eyes glistened as the sweet tangy flavor of the juice flooded her mouth. Rin hummed in satisfaction. "Orange flavored!" She noted happily before taking another sip. Mikuo smiled. "Glad you like it."

Rin hummed as she drank her drink. She then took a glance at another display window and paused. Rin walked over to the window. Mikuo watched her in confusion as Rin stopped in front of the window. She stared up at the mannequin in the display window intently.

The outfit on the mannequin was really cute. It had a bright orange skirt with a purple turtle neck shirt and a white sweater over it. On the sweater's left chest was a small orange ribbon and to complete the outfit was a pair of brown boots.

Rin really liked the outfit. She continued to stare at the outfit until Mikuo spoke up from beside her. "That's a really nice outfit." He remarked. "Are you going to get it?"

Rin mused about it. "Maybe." She said. "What do you think?"

Mikuo snorted in return. "I'm not really a fashion adviser like my sister."

"I guess but I'm just wondering about your opinion."

"Well, the clothes do seem cute...It'll definitely look good."

"You...think so?"

"Yeah of course. You really shouldn't hesitate so much on stuff like this. If you really want it, you should get it."

Rin thought about it. Well, Mikuo does have a point. She rarely treats herself like this and besides, it was a really cute outfit...

"Alright! I'm going to buy it!" Rin declared then grabbed Mikuo's wrist. "And you are coming with me."

Mikuo blinked. "Huh?" He uttered and Rin pouted. "What? You didn't really think I'd just let you stand there while I shop, did you?"

"Uhhh, as much as I appreciate the thought, I had enough of shopping for one day."

"Oh come on, its not like I'm going to make you carry my stuff. I'm just going to buy one outfit."

"Yeah but you have been surrounded by female clothes all day and made to carry most of them, you would have enough of shopping too."

"Mikuo stop being so pessimistic and just come with me." With that said, Rin tugged Mikuo into the store while ignoring his protests.

"See? It only took us a few minutes in that shop." Rin said as they stepped out of the store, in her hand was a bag with the clothes she bought.

Mikuo snorted. "I'm still not really happy with being surrounded feminine clothes." He said. This time, it was Rin's turn to snort. "Don't tell me you were traumatized because Miku made you go shopping with you?"

"Its pretty obvious if you have an insane shopaholic demon for a sister." Mikuo grumbled. "The crazy part is that she's my twin sister. I mean did I do something wrong in some past life? Was I some evil villain who destroyed millions of lives in some other life? Is that why Kami-sama felt the right to punish me or something?"

Rin sweatdropped as Mikuo began to grumble to himself and a dark cloud seemed to form over his head. "N-Now now, Mikuo. Don't be so depressed." She comforted. "I get it. You don't like shopping. I get that now."

Mikuo sighed."I'm fine with a little shopping. Just not with my sister." He said. He then checked his watch. "Wow, we've been out here for a really long time."

Rin blinked and took out her phone to check the time. He was right. It was getting late. "Looks like I got to go now." Rin sighed. "I had fun today, Mikuo."

Mikuo smiled. "Yeah, me too." He agreed. "Shame we can't spend more time together."

"Maybe next time." Rin smiled slightly. Mikuo smiled back. "Of course." He said. "You want me to bring you back to Len's place?'

Rin snorted. "Nah, I'll be fine. Its not like I need an escort everywhere I go." She joked. "Hey, I'm just saying." Mikuo shrugged. Rin rolled her eyes. "Right. Well then, I've got to go now before Miki starts questioning me where I've been so I'll see ya later Mikuo."

Mikuo nodded. "Yeah, see ya." And so, the two waved goodbye as Rin turned around and left, disappearing into the sea of people. Mikuo sighed heavily to himself.

What the hell was he thinking when he asked Rin about her and Len? He knows its been hours since he asked that but he still couldn't stop wondering what in the world was he thinking? He should've asked something else like what she liked or why the sky was freakin' blue!

Mikuo sighed once more and scratched his head in slight frustration. He really need to be more tactical if he wanted Rin to-

"I. Found. You."

Mikuo froze instantly at the eerily familiar voice behind him and a thin hand was clutching his shoulder extremely tightly. Mikuo paled drastically, too afraid to even glance over his shoulder as that demon voice sang. "We have a lot to talk about. O-nii-sa-ma~."

If there was a god listening to him right now then Mikuo prayed with all his heart. To make his death as quick as possible. Something which he doubt will happen.

Mikuo's last thoughts were: ''Why did I have to have demon for a twin sister?'

Rin looked up at the sky as she exited the mall. It was already turning bright orange. Had she really spent the entire day outside?

She sighed as she started her way down the street. And here she thought she was going to spend the whole day in her room but instead she gets kidnapped by her crazy best friend and forced to go shopping.

Rin sighed again then glanced down at the bag in her hand. Well, at least she got her hands on a cut outfit. She continued on her way but then paused as she realized...she wasn't able to work on their project.

Rin face palmed and groaned loudly. Great. Now what was she going to do? Its due on Monday! She wouldn't have enough time to study tomorrow and she definitely didn't have much time to work on the report either.

She groaned. She then realized she was already close to home. As Rin made her way to the front door, she thought of ways to work on the report. Should she do an all nighter tonight? Working on the report would take her all night just to finish it. Would that even be a good thing?

Rin continued to pondered about it as she opened the door.

"Hm? Oh you're back Rin."

Rin's eye twitched at the familiar voice and lifted her head to see Len standing close to the staircase with his bag at hand. He apparently just came home and was about to go up the stairs, judging from his appearance and position right now.

Rin frowned even more. "Yeah, I'm back." She grumbled as she closed the door behind her. Len smiled slightly at her. "I heard that you got kidnapped by that drama queen right after I felt from Miki. Are you okay? Hope Miku didn't drag you around to shop for clothes though I know you don't even like shopping."

For a moment, Rin wondered if Len was teasing her or he was a psychic. "Something like that." Rin grumbled as she approached him. "And where have you been?"

Len smiled. "Are you curious? I thought you didn't care." He was obviously teasing her and that just irritated her even more. "Oh shut up! You were probably with some girls all day weren't you?" She accused and Len raised a brow."Oh? Are you jealous?"

"What? Of course not!" Rin huffed and crossed her arms as she turned around. "I just know because you are a no-good player!"

Len winced slightly and smiled warily at her. "That's a little harsh don't you think?" He chuckled. "But unfortunately no, I wasn't able to meet up with any cuties today." He said as he began to dug through his bag.

Rin huffed as she turned back to him. "Hmph! As if I'd believe tha-" Rin stopped when Len suddenly handed her a thick pile of papers in one hand. Rin blinked then looked back at him with an arched brow. "What is this?" She questioned suspiciously.

"No need to be so cautious, Rin." Len chuckled lowly. "Its our report so there's no need for you to be so wary."

"Huh?" Rin uttered, completely dumbfound. "Now don't tell me you have forgotten." Len said in amusement. "Its our History project. The one you kept yelling me about." He then smirked at her. "Could it be miss 'genius' has forgotten something as important as this. For shame, Rinny. For shame."

"Oh shut up." Rin grumbled before she took the papers. "Why did you even found the time to do this?" She asked a she flipped through the papers.

"I spent the whole day in the library. It took a lot longer than I hoped but I guess I manage to do well on it, if I do say so myself." Len shrugged. Rin's eyes softened slightly as she stared at the papers in her hand. She honestly didn't expect Len to do something like this.

She had thought that maybe Len would be off partying away with girls surrounding him while she would busy working on their report on her own. Perhaps she had misjudged him a bit too much...

"Well...I'm..impressed." She said for the lack of words. Even thought, she had scanned only a few pages, she could tell that Len really did his research on it. "I don't know what to say..." A sudden wave of guilt washed over her as she looked down at the papers.

She really had been too harsh on the guy. All this time she thought he was just slacking off and making her do all the work on her own but then again...she knew that Len wasn't that heartless and yet she still thought of him like that. Now she definitely feels like the villain here..

Len grinned at her. "You don't have to say anything. I just want to help you out since I know you've been really busy with your studies." He said. "And besides that...I just wanted to impress you so yeah." He sheepishly scratched the back of his head.

Rin blushed lightly. "Well...you've manage to do a great job on that." She muttered. Perhaps Len's a really great guy. She really shouldn't misjudge him so much.

"Anyways since I managed to finish our report.." Len began. "You should keep your end of the bargain as well."

Rin blinked. "Huh?" She uttered in confusion. Len smirked as he leaned down to her face, to which she stepped back for a moment in response. "You didn't forget about our deal, did you?" He said as he stared into her eyes. "The deal was if I helped you with our History project, you'd go on a date with me, remember?"

Rin's face turned bright red as she indeed remembered about yesterday. "A-Are you serious?!" She exclaimed and Len nodded.

"B-But we haven't given our report to the teacher yet! Couldn't you wait until we at least passed to the teacher?" She said frantically. Darn it, why did he always had to spoil the moment? Just when she thought he wasn't such a bad guy, he just had to find a way to ruin it.

"Hmm so you want to wait until we pass the report huh." Len mused then back away, much to Rin's relief. "Alright...How about we make another deal?"

Rin blinked. "Another deal?" She repeated and Len nodded. "Yeah. How about this? If we get a good grade on our report, you'll not only go on a date with me but you'll also do just one request for me."

"Huh? That doesn't sound very fair." Rin pointed out and Len shrugged. "Perhaps but you don't really have much of a choice."

Rin frowned and thought about it for a moment. "J-Just one request, right?" She said. "Yes, just one." Len reassured. "Unless you want me to make two or more requests..."

"No." Rin immediately said. "I was just wondering." She sighed then paused. "Alright." Rin finally agreed. "But if we don't get a good grade on this, I'm going to beat you to a bloody pulp, got it?"

Len laughed and nodded. "Yes, yes, of course you will, princess." He said as he turned around to climb up the stairs."Well, I'll be off to my room now. I'll see you at dinner, bunny-chan."

"Don't call me that!" Rin exclaimed and Len laughed as he climbed up the stairs and disappeared into the corner. Rin sighed heavily before she glanced down at the papers. This was going to be really complicated. She sighed once more before she climbed up the stairs to return to her own room.

She should take a nice long rest for now and see what happens next in the days to come.
