A Conversation
Written in 2012
"Helena, the Baron missed you yesterday when you were visiting Hogsmeade."
"I am surprised he did not come looking for me."
"He would have but I forgot where you were."
Helena straightened the ruffles in her dress.
"There has never been a man so persistent."
"I do not understand why you refuse him, daughter."
At this, Helena began to pace in frustration.
"His manner is wholly disrespectful towards me. There is a look in his eyes as if he is amused at me. I will not be made sport of!"
"Perhaps he sees just how much of a child you are."
