Kagome had run into a hut. I guess to attempt to save Inuyasha and Kikyo. I was then suddenly thrown into a vision. Were they Kagome's memories? I touched her arm and she started.
"Where is this?"
"This place…"
"Inuyasha!" The priestess Kikyo launched an arrow that stuck the dog demon to a tree.
"This was 50 years ago."
I hummed in interest as Inuyasha's eyes slowly shut and tears sprung from the older miko. Glancing to the side, I saw Kagome look puzzled.
"I feel Kikyo's sadness...sorrow? And...something else. Love? Just as strong as sorrow. It's something I cannot match..."
"Does this upset you?"
"...I already knew..." Her eyes expressed resignation.
She sighed, "How I supposed to kill Naraku when much more trained Kikyo even fell for his trap? Then and now."
I noted the change in atmosphere. My space suddenly seemed less bright.
A/n: and totally forgot to cancel that hulu trial so now binge watching Elementary. Oh well. Didn't finish Inuyasha yet anyway.
Anyways, this chap takes place when Naraku is trapping Kikyo in spider webs and trying to corrupt Kagome so she can't purify/heal Kikyo.
I'm thinking of making a fic just to dump plot bunnies and one shots in. Right now, a Yu Yu Hakusho KagomexKuronuexYoko idea is in my head inspired by a dream. Wrote a little of it on my phone. Dunno if I want to just hide it in my head or dump it on here. Either way, might never be expanded on.
