20 Ships in 20 Days: Day 3 Leon and Mithian

Mithian stood by her horse in the courtyard as Sir Leon walked out of the castle.

"My Lady, do you need assistance?" Leon bowed as he approached.

"Yes Sir Knight. The groom has been called back to the stables. The Queen's horse has colic."

Leon came up behind Mithian and started to kneel down so she could use him as a step.

"No. Just give a lift up." Mithian waved him back up.

Leon put his hands on the Princess' waist and was about to lift her when she put her hand on his.

"Leon, I'm going to the spot at the river that you took me to before. Will you meet me there?" Mithian whispered to him.

"I will be there. I have a matter to attend to but I will come as soon as I can." Leon whispered back.

Mithian reached for the saddle and grabbed on as Leon lifted her up.

"Thank you Sir knight. I am most grateful."

Leon bowed. "Have a pleasant ride, Your Highness."

Mithian rode off and Leon headed off to give Gaius the request from the King.

A short time later, Leon rode out to meet Mithian. He dismounted and she ran into his arms.

"Fancy a kiss, Sir Knight?" Mithian looped her arms around his neck as he lifted her up into his arms.

"I fancy several kisses." Leon grinned. He sat her down on the blanket on the ground and sat beside her.

Mithian giggled. "Then you shall have them." She leaned over and gave Leon a slow smoldering kiss.

They spent the afternoon talking and kissing. They returned to the castle through different gates.

They thought they were being discreet but everyone knew by the smiles on their faces and the lingering looks at the feast later that night.
