Fárbauti used what magic he could to heal his mate. With the pressure that had been applied to the force of sharking ones bones to that of a Asier was painful to be pulled out of it as fast as he did added to the damage. Not only that but Laufey had already been exhausted from pushing himself to the limit, using ice magic when bound, running around the golden City without the protection of ice to keep his body cool.

As Fárbauti laid his beloved down on the bed covering him with lite sheets that had been enchanted to keep the perfect tempture. Since the portal Laufey had not awoken since he had passed out. Another thing to be concerned about. It was uncommon for anyone to be out that long.

"Father."

Fárbauti looked over at his son. "Helbindi."

"About the royal court…"

Sighing deeply Fárbauti closed his eyes before looking at him. "You will rule until which time your Bera is well enough to return."

Nodding Helbindi folded his arms. "And the armies that await?"

For a moment the Great Warrior thought about it and the many possible outcome. "Things are tense among the reteams and a war would not help us now that Laufey is back with us and that Loki is somewhere with the Odinson along with Fenrir. Tell the armies to be on standby. We wait a week and if Loki doth not return and the Asier armies dare move than we go to War."

Walking over Helbindi laid his hand on his Bera's arm. "Will he be alright?"

"It is hard to say… however I believe that Laufey is too stubborn to die… Damn it, Laufey!"

"Father?!"

"Do not talk about me as if I am at death's door…" Laufey growled eyes opening slightly his claws carefully pinching Fárbauti's arm. "I've survived worse."

"Bera," Helbindi moved closer. "How do you feel?"

"Well enough."

"Do you need me to heal you more?"

"No, love, I am fine now. Just need to sleep…"

With that the Laufey drifted off again. Fárbauti stayed by his side and Helbindi went to see about the court and Býleistr took care of the army.

For hours Laufey slept, a few times Fárbauti checked to make sure he was breathing because a few times it made his heart jump thinking that his mate had stopped. Even though that bond was there it still kept him on his feet pacing back and forth before returning to the bed side holding his love's hand.

There was more to that memory than anyone wanted to admit for he knew it was not the first time Laufey's path had crossed with Odin's. However he had not known that it happened that day that he left back to Jutonnhime that day. There something else that would have to be discussed once Laufey was well again.

Thor was grinning like a fool which gave Loki feeling that his brother had found something that he wanted to share. What he didn't expect was for his brother to come storming in (literary the Man of Iron whined about rain in the living room) grabbing Loki by the arm before taking off using Monjir to take them away from the tower.

"Thor! What do you think you are doing?!"

"We must make haste, Loki, tis almost time!"

For a second Loki thought he had found a portal to Jutonnhime but that was asking too much of the Thunder God. They landed on a building before Thor Threw them further towards an ocean. Did Thor really think this was a good time to go for a swim?

They landed on the bank and Thor started to look eagerly out at the ocean waiting. Loki folded his arms waiting when something ripped in the water. For a moment Loki watched the odd ripple in the water before slowly walking closer his feet touching the coolness of the water.

Another ripple happened this time something rose slowly out. Two bright golden eyes that had slits followed by green skin that scaled all over the dark green and black body that slithered its way towards the sand.

"By the nine…" Loki breathed out before rushing into the water. "Jorgmorrd!"

Thor grinned widely as Loki rushed into the water throwing himself on his son's head hugging what he could of the giant sea serpent. His nephew did his best to hug back almost as if he was reassuring his Bera that he was alright.

"Oh my beloved child how I have missed you,"

"I'll just leave you two for a bit." Thor said before taking off.

Fenrir walked around looking for things to do. It had only taken him the day to go through all the floors and now had nothing to do. So he went off looking for the humans to see if one of them wished to play or go for a run.

He found one firing arrows at a target and tottering over watching for a few minutes before nudging the human. The human pushed back making him thing this was a game and pushed the human again. This time the human told him to go away.

Snorting Fenrir left again looking for something to do. He found another human crawling among the ceiling. Reaching up he pulled her down and set her on the floor thinking that this redhead woman must have been stuck. She asked him if he was hungry before she took off again climbing away saying something about training.

Walking away again he came up to a place that had glass wall. Sniffing them he saw another human inside. Pawing the door Fenrir waited for the human to turn around and come to the door opening it letting him in.

Wagging his tail Fenrir walked in nuzzling the man before trying to talk to him. It was hard when no one could understand you. The man led him out of the room, gave him some food which he enjoyed. It was fresh making Fenrir wonder if it had just been killed.

After that he noticed that the human was walking away. Going over Fenrir picked up the human by the back of his purple shirt and started to carry him around looking for something fun they could both do ignoring the small protests.

After a short while they came across the blond man who looked at them. "Bruce?"

"I think I'm going for a walk…" Bruce shrugged. "I don't think he understands me."

"Natasha said the same thing." Steve said. "You okay?"

"Uh, yeah, fine, I guess." Bruce looked up at the wolf. "Can you put me down, please?"

Fenrir just shook his head before walking away.

"Well, a walk it is then." Bruce said as they left. "Bye, Steve."

"…Bye, Bruce."

"Hey, Cap."

Steve repressed a groan of frustration wishing the wolf had taken Tony. "Hey, Tony."

"So, I was looking at way to get Loki and Thor back freezing place and so far I think a found a couple of leads."

"And then wolfy there stole Banner before we could test it. Speaking of which how long do you think I could ride on the wolf down town before Fury notices?"

"Don't even…"

"Oh come on just a couple of hours, a few rounds around the park, a few picture,"

"No!" Steve pinched the bridge of his nose. "Just don't Tony, please."

Tony looked at him for a minute before bolting down the hall way after the Wolf and Bruce making Steve threw back his head asking God why did he get stuck watching over Tony like a child before running off knowing he could still catch him.

When he found them Tony was struggling to get away from the wolf who was keeping both Bruce and Tony stuck in his arms like puppies. Of course the wolf thought this was a game one which he confused with tag.

After a while Fenrir finally let Bruce go because he was the only one being still but since Tony kept making an attempt of escape he kept getting caught, much to the amusement to a certain captain who just enjoyed the game and an angry Iron Man who swore his revenge. Sadly while he was plotting his revenge Clint managed to sneak away.

A couple of hours later Pepper came back and took a picture of both Fenrir and Tony asleep.

"What are you doing?"

Laufey looked over at the door before turning back around pulling the silk clothing around his waist tying it there.

"Getting ready. A King cannot rule in a bed."

"A King could also die on a throne if not getting proper rest and healing."

Slipping on the sliver moon dust cuff Laufey only nodded a bite his mind clearly somewhere else. Sighing deeply Fárbauti walked over wrapping his arms around his mate pulling him closer resting his chin on his beloved's shoulder.

"I know your heart is heavy, Laufey as is mine but fear not… Loki shall return to us."

"How? Odin rules the bifrost bridge, no one can go or leave without his permission. If they asked to the portal all that will happen is that they would return to Asgard not where they wish to be."

They were silent for a long while before Fárbauti urged Laufey to lay back down. There was a complaint about this but eventually Laufey was forced to agree since his body refused to work for him. They A few more moments passed them before one of them spoke.

"You can ask,"

Looking at his mate Fárbauti smiled a bit. "I was actually trying to figure out how to ask."

"Normally is quite simple for you to ask me anything?"

"This time it is harder. How should I start?"

"With what is on your mind will do."

"That memory… the one where I left and you did not come back as planned."

"You wish to know of Odin and I and if our paths crossed after that day… you should know you were there the second and third time."

"There was more than that?!"

Smiling Laufey leaned back. "It was not like it was planned, love. None of it ever is."

"Well the time I first met Odin was on the battlefield."

"Aye."

"The third when the treaty after the war."

"Aye."

"… How many more times did the two of you cross?"

"How many indeed."

"Laufey!"

"I'm discounting the times in Court." Laufey pushed back some of his hair before looking at Frabuti with a look of disgust. "Do not tell me you are jealous of that fool."

"…"

"Fárbauti! Are you mad?!"

"No, just wondered-"

"I should hit you for the thought! In fact…"

Smack.

"Now that hurt."

"If I had the strength I would spare you!"

It was silent before a small chuckle began to emerge from Fárbauti's throat before it started to grow into a full on laughing bellow. Shortly after Laufey joined in as they laughed together before the laughs slowed down to a stop.

"Do not make me laugh so, love, my body is still sore."

"Has been a long time, Laufey and a good laugh is good for the soul."

Smiling laugh held out his hand letting his mate take hold of him give a comforting squeeze. Red eyes met red eyes. Fárbauti leaned down to pressed his lips against his lover's chapped ones. The comfort from was welcoming. Sliding into bed pulling his lover close.

"You know something…"

"I had a dream of which… something comes…"

"Comes from where?"

"I know not. All I know is that they are not from the Nine Realms. Something dark approaches form a place we know not of."

Because Fárbauti could say anything there was a loud boom and a rumble that shook the palace making everything move or fall from the shelves. They held to each other before the rumbling stopped followed by another shaking of the realm.

"Fárbauti?!"

"It came from the bridge!"

Another tremble came and Laufey looked at Fárbauti. "It cannot be…"

"Someone is destroying the Bifrost Bridge!"

"Quick we must hurry!"

Thor landed on his feet as his brother landed next to him on Fenrir. They looked to both sides of the briadge. An army of Asier and an army of Juton on either side. They looked at each other before nodding each knowing what the other had to do.

Thor used Monjir to fly over to where Odin sat tall on his stead. Thor frowned at the approached him in determination. There was tense moments between the two before they began to aruge.

Fenrir ran towards the Juton army only stopping when met with Helbindi and Býleistr did he stop and shook his head.

"Loki! Tis good to see you!" Býleistr said grinning.

"Are you injured?" Helbindi asked looking over the small born.

"I am well." Loki smiled a bit before frowning. "What of Bera? Is… well?"

"He is healing and nothing life threatening. How did you return?"

"The humans have found away." Loki smiled. "Are we at war?"

"No, but close to it." Helbindi looked grim.

Suddenly Loki heard Thor's voice bellow.

"Noooo!"

Loki turned in time to see a spear coming straight for him. Qucikly Loki whipped out his dagger and knocked the spear out of the air. A mistake he realized because that one momvent just started a whole new War.

One that his homeland could not aforad.

"No…" Loki breathed as both sides started to charge. "Fenrir to the front line! Go!"

"Awwwooooo….!"

The wolf, his son, ran faster than anyone in the army coming to the halt of that between the two realms before summoning as much magic as he could to raise a wall to keep his people form crossing. Behind him he could hear the cracking of thunder and the eltrice waves of it as Thor yelled at the Golden army to back down but both sides fell on deaf ears as the roars and battles cries came forth.

"Loki, we cannot keep them apart for long."

Looking around Loki menauvered his magic wall to keep Thor's side backed up so the Thunderer could be back to back.

"What do we do, Loki?"

"… something insane."

"Like what?"

"Use Monjir…. Destroy the bridge."

"That's mad!"

"It's the only way! I cannot hold on for much longer and if they cannot reach one another than no one shall die! Hurry Thor I know not how much more I can hold the wall!"

Thor gritted his teeth before he raised Monjir to the sky summoning as much Thunder as he could before bringing it down on the Bifrost causing a enormous shake and rumble that shook the realms. Thor raised his hammer again bringing it down again and again forcing both sides to retreat to their own sides as the bridge started to crack.

"What are you doing?!" Odin yelled angrily.

Thor brought down Monjir again. "What should have been done long ago!"

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Loki lost control of his magic wall and it suddenly crumbled with another loud hit to the Bridge causing Loki to fall of Fenrir. His son quickly ran to him whimpering nudging him. Loki smooth his fur before muttering something to him before summoning some magic to a portal leading to Stark Tower and whispered to his son.

"Go and be safe."

Fenrir whimpered.

"Go, love, do not worry about me. I shall come for you when it is time."

Fenrir didn't want to leave but the look his Bera gave him was enough to get him to leave back to the mortal world. Just as the portal closed there was a piece that broke next to Loki causing him to stumble backwards before he caught himself and looked at Thor. Only a few more strikes and they would be separated once more and this time it could be years before… No, Loki had his magic, they could visit one another.

Boom!

Crack.

Boom!

Crack.

BOOM!

Shatter.

A blast sent Loki flying and one a moment did he mange to grab hold on the side with one hand. Gasping in shock Loki looked down into the void. Breathing in cold shock Loki reached up with his other hand trying to pull himself up.

Boom!

"Thor! Thor! Thor, help me!"

There was a pause as the whole brigade trembling and started to shatter slowly. "Loki? Loki! Where are you?!"

"Thor, over here!"

Thor rushed as best he could with the shaking of the ground. He reached out trying to get to his brother's side. He made it reaching down and Loki let go with one hand reaching up. Their fingers barely touched when something knocked Thor away.

Yelping Loki gripped onto the side again his hold slipping. "Thor…!"

"Loki!" Thor looked at the one who stopped him. "Father, what are you doing?!"

Suddenly Loki's grip slipped.

"LOKI….!"

"Aaaaahhhhhh…!"

'There are worlds.'
