Bruce went over the charts, the scans, the test they had taken, and re-read them over and over again but he wasn't sure how to handle this situation. He was a doctor, yes, but he wasn't sure how to handle someone who wasn't human but a Juton from another planet who he may or may not be helping.

However he noticed that Loki was more comfortable in the cold so he kept the room pretty cool and hoped it helped. Loki had just been laying there in a daze since they brought him back to Stark Tower and hadn't said a word. There was nothing to say that Loki even heard or saw anything when they came to see how he was doing.

Fenrir had fought with Thor but after the fight Thor ha explained that Loki was wanted in the nine realms for bringing an army to Earth and trying to take over it. However it was both Tony and Bruce who asked how Odin knew this and yet when Thor traveled home to inquire about other realms about the Jotun Prince none of them even knew he was alive.

In fact the two realms Thor had said he visited had no idea that Prince Loki of Asgard was now Prince Loki of Jothunnhine and had been a frost giant. So Thor didn't return Loki but rather tried to keep Loki away from Odin and to get his brother to talk to him or even acknowledge that he was there.

For a whole week Loki had just laid there staring into nothingness. They moved his limbs and trolled him over so he wouldn't get sick or stiff but nothing seemed to be helping. Fenrir had refused to leave the room for long and growled dangerously at Thor every time he walked in.

Sighing Bruce rubbed his face. "There has to be something…"

The door opened and Tony walked in carrying a couple of drinks tossing one to Bruce. "Have one. So any change a all?"

"Nothing." Bruce said rubbing the back of his head. "I tried to wake him up with an ice cream but it dind't work."

"Huh. You'd think that frost people would wake up for ice creams." Tony said before taking a long drink of his brandy. "So, Capsical says we're all needed for some kind of mission and that we should go and handle it and whatever. However since I saved the world I think I'll head over to Vegas."

"Um, well I guess I'll just let Fenrir know and, um, go do that and get ready."

"Kay." Tony walked over to Loki poking him a few times. "What are the chances of me putting ice on him and him waking up?"

"Please don't do that again." Bruce folded his arms. "Steve was really mad about that."

"Yeah, and Goldie Locks wasn't too pleases either."

"You covered his brother in ice."

"In my defense I was drunk at the time." Tony said poking Loki again. "Man, this guy is cold."

"His body temperature gets colder and then warmer at various times but he hasn't broken out in a sweat in a couple of days so I think that's over… maybe."

The door opened and Steve walked in before retraining himself from groaning as he watched Tony set an ice on Loki's hand. Sometimes Steve just wanted to scream when he saw Tony but Natasha had said that Tony only did these things just for the soul purpose of getting under his nerves. Taking a breath he calmed down before he walked over taking the ice cube off and grabbing Tony by the back of the collar dragging him out of the room.

"Help! Kidnapping in progress!" Tony called out.

Steve called back into the room "Bruce, hurry up! We leave in three minutes. … Tony stand up!"

"No." Tony went limp.

Steve just dragged him away refusing to carry the childish brat.

Fenrir sat up when he heard a shift in breathing and a heartbeat pick up from the bed that he was sleeping next too. Looking over Fenrir gently nudged Loki as the other's face scrunched up slightly. Whether it was in pain or from being asleep so long the wolf didn't know. Whimpering Fenrir nudged again hoping nothing was wrong when slowly green eyes opened and a weak hand moved up to touch his snout.

"…Fenrir…" Loki said his voice raspy from none use. "What goes on… here?"

Wagging his tail Fenrir pressed his head against his Bera while trying to talk to him making soft noise in the back of his throat. A few times he watched as the green eyes fell closed only to reopened a few minutes later.

This continued on for a good hour until Loki slowly pushed himself with his elbows taking in a deep breath. Nausea and dizziness washed over him causing him to almost fall back but he forced himself all the way up slumping foreword his hair covering his face.

For a long time he sat there trying to use what little magic he could pull into healing himself. More time passed when Loki was able to get rid of the two main problems before looking around slowly. He didn't recognize this place at all.

It was not Asgard so that may have been a good sign. It wasn't Jotunnhime either. It was cool in the room and that was nice but ti didn't mean that it wasn't a prison. Carefully testing his legs Loki determined that they would be able to hold him up as long as he had Fenrir to help him.

After standing up on shaking legs Loki grabbed onto Fenrir. "To the window."

Fenrir walked over slowly until they stood there.

Loki stared out of a few seconds before blinking. "Midgard."

Fenrir whined a question.

"We need to leave." Loki said. "Odin must know I am here now and will be waiting for an operational moment."

Getting on his stomach Fenrir waited until Loki was on his back before standing and looked back at him for a moment before his Bera lurched forward looking ill. After that Loki told him to find away out. Running out of the room and down the many hallways towards the door that let him in and out of the tower before making it to the roof.

High on the top of the tower Fenrir howled loudly before leaping off the tower into the night.

People swore they saw a white creature jumping over the rooftops.

Loki stared at the snowfield place that his son had found and patted his head. "This is better… now to get rid of this damn pink skin."

After turning back into the now familiar blue skin and silver markings Loki sighed. Now he would be able to heal much faster. Looking down Loki noticed his attire. White shirts and pants. Some kind of white things covered his feet.

"Well this won't do." Loki sighed before pulling the ice magic towards him and transforming the clothes into that of his Jotun attire and his feet were now able to touch the soft snow. Ah, that felt much better and it helped with the heat had had been exposed too.

The only thing that was missing was the band that should have been around his head. Or maybe it was the helmets that everyone wore back home. How were they? Well? Sick? Training? Maybe at war with the Asgardians but they wouldn't be able to if the bridge was still destroyed. There was ways to return but not enough magic to do so.

A nudge made him look at his son who was wagging his tail happily.

"Fenrir, when I have enough magic I shall send you home where you shall be safe."

Snorting Fenrir sat down.

Smiling Loki petted his snout. "I fear that I have done great harm and destruction to this realm and although not by will I fear that no one will believe me against the King of the Realms."

A long groan left the wolf.

"Do not be worried. Perhaps something will come along. For now let us find a place to rest so I may continue my recovery."

As Fenrir walked along behind he couldn't help but noticed the strange black markings on Loki's back or how they seemed to be longer and darker than before.

"Clint I asked you to do one thing when we landed in Vegas." Steve chided as he tried really hard not get mad but he was extremely aggravated. "It was all I asked you to do."

Shrugging Clint leaned against the wall. "He got away from me."

"For two hours? I know you can keep track of other people easily."

"Stark bribed Clint with a new high-tech bow." Natasha said as he sold out his best friend. Why because he ate her doughnut she had been planning on eating all day.

"Clint!"

"Traitor." Clint mumbled before looking at Steve. "It's not so bad."

"Not that bad?! Tony is passed out in his suit because he's too drunk to remember his own name!"

Bruce ran into the room. "Steve, Steve, Steve!"

"What?" Steve asked seeing the doctor clearly upset. "What's wrong?"

Taking a gulp of air Bruce looked worried, nervous and unsure. "Loki and Fenrir as missing."

"What?" Steve walked passed him heading towards the room where they had last seen the two. "How long have they've been missing?"

"According to the security cameras about five hours and there's news reports about a flying creature that was heading up north and the last sighting was in Canada."

"Where's Thor?"

"I think he's in the kitchen eating Pop tarts."

Nodding Steve walked into the room before folding his arms. "We need to find him. He could be hurt since he's not healed all the way."

"Well about that," Bruce said before pushing his glasses up. "I saw form the feed that Loki seemed to be able to heal himself."

"Well that's some good news." Steve sighed. "Now let's figure out how to find him and talk to him."

"'ey, Capsical…guess w'at I did in Vagassss…?"

Steve told himself that if he killed Tony it would go against his the vow he took two months ago about killing a Stark.

Laufey suddenly tense as he sat up more in his throne. Something… something was wrong with his children. Glaring he looked at his mate who raised an eyebrow wondering what it was before he told him to go check on both their sons.

"Something wrong?"

"I am not sure. Go on." Laufey said folding his arms. "We cannot risk nothing at the moment."

"Of course." Fárbauti nodded before leaving. "I shall return shortly."

A second in command came to stand near the Jotun King as the court went on. However Laufey's mind wa somewhere else. He pulled at the bond between his sons and he could feel them strong and healthy. Nothing wrong there. The mating bond was also attached with no harm done. Yet there was a slight pull that was bothering him.

Faint.

It was really faint like a dim lite that was the first spark a darken cave. One could sense it if they did not notice it at first sight or glace. What was it? After all there was sonly so many others he had bonded with. His Bera of course, Father until that bond was broken do to the war. His brothers and sisters until their deaths, of course he beloved Fárbauti and his little-…

The whole court froze when their King jumped to his feet his eyes wide and a scowl on his face before he stormed away dismissing them all as he walked as fast as he could to chambers of though who were the fates.

It had been a longtime since he had ventured down there as only a few could ask the fates of such things but a long time ago when engaged in battle with a certain bastard Asgaurdian and had gained favors form the fates.

He only had so many favors left so he had to be careful on how and when he used them although only his family knew about it and sadly the royal family was only a family of four or maybe… five… if what that pull was what he thought it was… No, he had to make sure before he assumed anything. Getting to the place where he had to be before stopping and taking a deep breath.

"I know you are there."

Crackling soon could be heard all around the rooms.

"Show me what hath transpired with the lost Prince."

Images filled the room of the events of Earth. It was similar to the first prediction only the battles and few meetings between the Asgard Prince and the Jotun Prince had less sadistic and violent. The Battle ended and there was Fenrir protecting his Bera before long days of the unmoving small born until one day he woke and fled from the Midgard tower before the images vanished.

"Laufey, are you well?!"

"Damn you!" Laufey shouted. "You know how I hate when you do that Fárbauti !"

"I heard that you dismissed the court before coming down here." His mate said walking over and placing a hand on his shoulders. "You look pale. Perhaps you should lay down for a while."

"No time for that," Laufey said moving closer. "He is alive."

There was a long silence that filled the room. Red eyes searched his beloved's eyes that had turned form their normal red color to gold. Something that only happened when Laufey would call upon the fates to show something important that needed to have absolute conformation. So, this made sense now why Laufey had made him go check on their children, had left suddenly when the court had important things to discuss to come and call upon fates when he only have so little favors left from them.

"…Loki…" Fárbauti spoke softly looking Laufey in the eye. "He is alive?"

"On Midgard." Laufey eyes melted back to red. "I felt the bond."

"Ha ha!" Fárbauti shouted yanking his beloved close. "Thank the Norns!"

"Fárbauti, we need to find a way to get him back home. I fear that what was to pass has passed and now Odin seeks to sacrifice Loki."

"You do know how to bring down a moment, love."

"Oh shut up and come on we have work to do."

"Laufey."

"What?!"

"Listen."

Laufey listened closer hearing a distant boom that was followed by another. "Damn."

"Come, it is time for a battle."

"No, wait. However it is bring them as a prisoner. If it is Odin's little young worriors seeking a thrill of killing one of us we can use them as a trade."

"Of course."

"Go, I shall go join you in the war room once you are done."

"Laufey wait! You forgot something important!"

"What?"

"A kiss?"

Laufey smacked his arm glaring. "You'll get one once you return."

They move for a moment before Laufey signed and gave a chase kiss before they parted for their parts in the battle that was just beginning.

Something was wrong.

It was terribly wrong.

Loki looked up to sky that was covered in the falling snow as he held tight around his stomach feeling burns on his back. Whatever was happening was making him feel like he had been ripped apart from every joint in his body.

It was almost as if his mind was fighting to be himself and to be some else that also felt like himself if that made any sense at all. What was going on? There were spaces of memories that he could remember and some he couldn't. They must have been hidden in his subconscious. That meant it was that bad and that mad Titian that had held him prisoner…

Fenrir head snapped to Loki when he heard a muffled noises that almost sounded like sobs. He saw his Bera clamping his hands over his face as his shoulders shook letting out of muffled sounds. For a moment Fenrir thought that it was weeping from the pain that had been held in battle and it had caught up to Loki when he heard it more cleary and something was indeed terrible wrong.

"Heh… heheh… hahaha… hahahahahAHAHAHAHAHA…!" Loki's torn laugh rang out into the storm as he stood suddenly eyes wide as tears flowed from his face a smile out of place there. "AHAHAHA…!"

Fenrir ears went flat back against his head backing away.

"Just you wait Odin! I shall destroy you as you have destroyed me! Ahaha…! AHAHAHAHA…!"
