Fenrir walked along the snow fill place with his Bera riding on his back.

Since the strange scene with him a few days ago his Bera hadn't spoke a word so they traveled keeping well hidden in the snow and the magic that concealed them. Fenrir was worried but did not press the issues. Instead he hoped the three day long walk would help. It helped him so maybe it would help his Bera as well.

As they walked on Fenrir sniffed the air as they passed some very old train tracks. There was a scent there. Very light but he had smelled it before on the Captain when he was at the tower. It was there mixed with another person's scent.

Sniffing the ground Fenrir looked for it going this way and that trying to pin point it. Loki snapped out of his thoughts watched as his son picked up a trail and started to follow it. Fenrir sniffed the scent until the came ot the edge before he leaped off almost floating to the ground landing int the soft snow.

The scent grew slightly stronger. Pawing at the snow Fenrir snorted before he found where it was the strongest. light but better than the area.

"What bother's you so?" Loki asked when Fenrir whinnied. "Do you wish to find what it is you seek?"

Whimpering Fenrir nodded before he started to paw at the ground before digging using his massive paws to move the snow. Loki stayed where he was his eyes off int he distant lost in thought. He didn't seem all there so Fenrir didn't bother him with what he thought.

It couldn't be the Captain coudl it? No, he was back with his pack. Fenrir must have found someone that was of the pack! Yes, that had to be it. Digging more Fenrir could smell it getting stronger so he dug more until he was body deep in the snow.

Where was it?

Where could it be?

Still dinging Fenrir got stubborn determined to find where it was.

After an hours and against creator later the scent was strong enough. Nuzzle the snow he pushed and nudged the snow until he saw a dark blue jacket. Wagging his tail in triumph Fenrir moved the snow off the pack member that must have belongs to the Captains old pack because it had part of the same scent. As he pushed the snow aside he noticed it was a dark haired human.

The breathing was light and so was the heartbeat.

Fenrir tilted his head before he leaned down to get it unstuck from the snow before climbing out of the large hoel he made and set it on the ground nudging it. When the human didn't' move Fenrir nudged it again will it to move. Was it not a pup? Captain was leader and smelled older than the others no the team. Maybe it was almost grown? Maybe.

Whining Fenrir nudged it again.

"Fenrir?" Loki asked seeming to snap out of whatever he was in before sliding off him. "What have you there?"

Making some noise Fenrir showed him nudging the human again.

"He is alive?" Loki frowned before laying down to check. "He is... We need to warm him up."

Nodding Fenrir laid down on his belly so his Bera could hoist the human onto his back before getting on himself. After that they headed somewhere warm and a very nice cave before his Bera set up a fire and Fenrir rolled the human over to it with his nose.

"Take care of him, love." Loki said. "I shall gather us some food."

Fnrir sat up giving Loki a look.

"Do not worry I shall return shortly. Besides should you not care for your foundling?"

Yes, that was true. Fenrir looked back at the human before gathering it up in his arms but whimpered at Lok once more. A hour later Loki did return with food for them. Fenrir left the human to eat as his bera checked over the foundling.

Loki pulled out the dog tags reading the name. "Bucky Barnes?"

Bucky's eyes snapped out as he let out a shocked scream.
