Ali was nearly suffocated the two small borns in her grasp as she screamed in horror that an Asgardian walked into the room. She recognized the Aseir as one of the Odinsons and she had grabbed the two small borns before running to the back of the room and into the closet to keep them safe.

That didn't last long because Baldr easily opened the door and greet them as if it was an everyday occurrence, which would have been fine except Ali wasn't aware that the Prince and Gang had a friendship so she did what any other Jotun would do for the small borns. She slips them into an ice box before summons ice around his hands with the ice jagged as knives before standing ready to fight.

"Wait, Ali, wait, wait, wait!" Gang cried were too muffled by the ice. "He will not hurt us!"

"Gang, have you lost your mind?!" Beil nearly sobbed. "Asier are going to kill us!"

"He is not like the others!"

"You have lost it!"

Meanwhile Ali growled at the Asier as she hunched down trying to scare him of even though inside her heart was pounding and her mind was screaming at her to run and hide. Small they may be but Asgaridans were anything but weak.

"Hello! Can I see Gang?"

"Away, monster!" Ali hissed swinging at the brat. "You shall not get the small borns!"

In the end Balder feld form the room with the gaint woman after him telling him that once she cought him that she would throw him off the bifrost. To be honest he was surprised how good her aim was and had to move fast to advoid getting iced to death.

Choosing to run into the room that he had been in with the others Balder rushed towards Thor choosing to hide behind the Golden Boy. Thor must have had one second to turn around when a ice stick, or was it a club?, smacked him and sent the Asier flying across the room.

"Oh, Thor!" Screamed Loki rushing over. "Are you alright?!"

"Ali! Ali, calm down, tis alright!" Helbidnie shouted rushing forward before she could kill the fool who was just standing there. "Loki, brought them here, it's alright!"

"What? What?!" She looked so confused and backed away before shaking her head. "He wanted the small borns!"

"I am friends with Gang!"

"Die!" Ali screamed. "I shall protect them with my life!"

"Ali, wait, wait, wait!" Helbindi caught her even though she struggled. "I promise you that they will not bring harm to them- Ooh..."

Still in protective mode Ali had manged to kick Balder a little and he was shaking his head when the other two small borns rushed in. Beil stayed by the door but Gang rushed forward looking worried before he came to a stop near Balder.

"Are you alright?"

"Yes, I'm well, do not worry, it is not the first time I was hit in the head! Why Thor and Loki used to do that often as a jest."

"Oh, well, what are you doing here?"

Looking over Helbindi watched as Loki helped Thor to his feet and they exchanged some small talk before heading back over. The Asier Prince was rubbing his head looking grumpy and had said something about the ice was terrible cold but that the Jotun had a mean swing in her.

"Alright, enough!" Loki shouted. "We need to come up with a plan. Odin is planning something, I don't know what but we must be ready. Thor, Balder, you both have allies who will help us. I must ask that the two of you ask for me and my homeland for help in this upcoming war."

"Alright." Balder grinned.

"The Avengers shall help out." Thor agreed. "I shall go to Midgard and gather them up."

"Actually, Thor, about your friends..."

"Hey look, it's point break!"

Thor looked over to see his friends dressed as wolves and on Fenrir's back. He titled his head frowning as they slid down. They walked up to Thor who stopped laughing when Loki nudged his ribs and became serious.

"My friends, I would appreciate you help in this upcoming battle."

"Let's do this!" Tony yelled before looking down. "Uh, I need my suit first..."

IN the back Loki eyes were downcast. The War that was to happen was going to be a great one and he could only hope that all would be well. All could be safe. Was there no one who knew how to bring peace without the coast of so many lives?

Everyone looked at Loki as he gasped and felt something warm on his back. Reaching back he touched the lines before trying to peer at them and his eyes widened at what he saw. They were smaller and the bet part was now they were a deep gray, no longer black.

The howling of the wind could be heard from everywhere. the snow had fallen a bit before it stopped causing a small layer over the dead. The ones who weren't injured helped to tend to the wounded, some where moving the snow back to get to the ground so they could dig up the dirt to bury the dead.

Fárbauti watched for a while before looking back over at his mate. After taking away the memory they had stayed together until someone had come up to them to ask about what they should do and Fárbauti gave some orders after he realized that Laufey wasn't going to respond but continued to look at the broken temple that now lay in ruins and was watching the spot next to where the Casket had been.

However he refused to leave to far from Laufey so he was only by the edge of the hill. His mother had long left to try and find the rest of their family. Looking back once again Fárbauti sighed. The sorrow was still there and he should have taken them home by now.

The General's shoulders jerked in a bitter low chuckle. They couldn't return home. That was a ridiculous notion. Laufey was the last member of the family. Now it was his mate's right and duty to ascend to the throne even if Laufey had repeatedly said the Throne and ruling the Kingdom had never held any interest to him.

Now, in the aftermath of war, Laufey had no choice. There was no one else who could do so. Unlike the other realms the Norns had blessed Laufey's original family to Nal who was the first royal and with the power of the casket had ruled Jotunnhime into a glorious era og peace and because of Nal and Nal's life mate they had been able to help defeat a powerful evil army and so the Norns had set upon the royal markings to Nal's decedents that they would be able to help rule and keep peace over.

The markings ever different from others, everyone born to the royal family must step up when no other was left so now, here, tomorrow and until the end of their days Laufey would rule the land and Fárbauti would be there to protect his beloved no matter what.

Taking in a breath Fárbauti looked up to the moon as it glowed brightly before turning to walk back to his mate. Kneeling a little behind him Fárbauti wrap one of his arms across Laufey's shoulder before pressing his head against the side of Laufey's taking in a deep breath before releasing it, eyes still closed. He whispered that he would be back after he helped others.

Standing Fárbauti turned to leave. It only took a minute to reach a cart that had his beast with it. Grabbing to the reigns beast he pulled the poor thing along. He knew he would have to give it something to eat soon but for now they would both help those in need.

Before Fárbauti turn down a small path the beast was pulled back to a stop. Looking over to see who had done it, it took the other by surprise to see Laufey there. His mate just stared at him for a long moment and Fárbauti could see that Laufey understood what was to happen.

However it wasn't what they prepared for themselves. They could see the changes in their lives before it happened. Laufey's eyes no longer held that light to them. The Golden eyes seemed to dim into a deeper and the once carefree and happy smile that was always there was gone. Not that Fárbauti couldn't see himself in his beloved's eyes.

A serious solider, laughter, grins, all gone with the last of the war. Both of them were well aware of what had to be done, would be done and all that would come to be done. The War changed them, this they knew well.

Golden eyes melted into Crimson red. "We are not prisoners. We shall hide our life from that of Aseir. you magic, mine and all who are well can cast the spell of old."

"Of course."

"I do not know how rule a realm..."

"I did not know how to be a general, however I believe that I have become a rather good one."

"Yes, Fárbauti of Utgard also known as Cruel Striker for none can move with your swift."

"Laufey of Utgard also known as King of Jotunnhime for never shall there be a more worthy Ruler."

"Together than?"

"Together."

They looked over the land of snow before they walked on tired, starves, heartbroken, but together.

"And so this day I present you your new King." Fárbauti announced to all of Jotunnhime. "Hail and long live Laufey the King of Jotunnhime!"

As the cheers and shouts rose form the crowd Laufey took in a deep before he stood as a crown was placed on his head before the cheering roared louder. Walking up to the very edge of the balcony hr looked around before up at the sky.

"Give me strength, Nal."

To thatcrazyjellyfish: The hammer hing was fun to write because I do want Loki to be worthy and to still have his brothership with both of his adopted brothers and for them to help each other out. Fenrir was making up for lost family time and added some 'Pups' to add to it lol.
