Everyone shifted uncomfortably as Tony moaned very explicitly as he ate his food.

"Tony! I get my food apparently makes you orgasm, but please- there are others who you're making uncomfortable," Adrian giggled.

"I don't know. This may the only way you get me to climax, so I figured I better let you enjoy it," Tony winked.

"Oh please. I could make you at any time I wanted to."

Tony smirked, "I doubt it."

"Is that a challenge?"

"Do you want it to be?"

Tony stared Adrian in the eyes. Both with a silent, but playful challenge in their eyes. A moment passed of silence where they seemingly communicated their agreement to the challenge.

"3 favors to the winner?"

"By?"

"Saturday."

"4 days? You must feel confident."

At Tony's cocky smirk, Adrian manipulated the material of Tony's jeans to grab him and give a few tugs. He smiled when the smirk instantly vanished.

"If you two are done with the aggressive... flirting? Can we please get back to eating?"

"Oh, sorry Bruce," Adrian let it lie, seeing that the others were a bit uncomfortable, especially Steve who was red in the face, "*Cough* So what has everyone been up to?"

"I've been helping Tony draw up plans to renovate the tower after the massive damage. Thanks for helping repair a lot of that Adrian, by the way," Bruce nodded gratefully

"I was glad to help. I'm sure you guys would help me in similar fashion."

'See? How could he be attracted to you? He's just flirty with everyone. He pretty much just accepted a challenge to sexually please Tony! He'll have to physically touch him to do that! How dare he? Tony even flirted back… My heart hurts. I haven't even tried figuring out if what I'm feeling is okay. I just… need to suppress it… But it's so hard when it feels like he's calling out to me and my soul is reaching back.' *Snap!* Steve blinked at the sudden breaking of the pencil he was drawing angrily with.

He found an angry drawing of four black birds seemingly mid-caw as they descended on a lone figure- indistinguishable In shadows.

"Are you alright Steve?" Adrian spoke softly from the doorway.

"..."

"Steve?" Adrian stepped forward reaching out a hand. Steve turned from it. "Is it what Tony and I did?" Adrian's voice caught, "I… Don't know what to say… You've honestly got me pulled in a tight knot and I don't know what I did to make you upset with me. You told me it wasn't my sexuality that was the problem, but it seems you're bothered just by me play-flirting."

"It's not your sexuality- like I told you already. It's just my lack of familiarity and personal issues. Not used to people being so... open." 'Plus, I wanted to hit Tony just for looking at you the way he did and I've never been that possessive with anyone before. The fact that I've only just started getting to know him and already feel this way freaks me out.'

"You know you can talk to me, right Steve?"

"Sure." 'But this isn't something suitable to bring up with you.'

"Alright. I'll go for now."

"Wait! Take this as an apology," Steve handed the drawing to Adrian, "I haven't given it a name yet."

"How about a word play?"

"Oh?"

"Yeah. Let's call it 'Four Cawing Birds.'"

"You realize he's probably extremely confused right now, right?"

"Well, yeah Kendra. I still feel terrible for upsetting him. I didn't think much of the silly flirting with Tony. We're not interested in each other that way."

"That doesn't mean it won't hurt. Imagine if he started flirting with your competition for his affections."

"You're right, and I already thought about that after the fact, but thanks for your 'wisdom'. I guess I'll just have to change that if it's making him so uncomfortable. It's strange how he's acting. We're supposedly meant for each other, but he seems to be against being attracted to the same sex. I'd expect he'd have past experiences being interested in other guys and may accept it more, even with his history in an environment explicitly hostile towards homosexuals and otherwise. Maybe he doesn't realize that things are far different now? I mean, same-sex marriage was made legally recognized by New York last year… Has he even thought to check on the current political and social environment? Hm…"

"I wouldn't know. I'm not in his head."

Steve jumped when the link he clicked on lead to a video that opened with a loud moan from a guy. Steve's eyes widened when he saw why. He quickly hit the 'x' to close the tab.

"What the…? Why is there just that sort of thing open to anyone?!"

"I'm not sure if I want to know what you're doing on your computer," Steve quickly turned at Bruce's voice.

"Oh. Uh…" Steve blushed, "I was curious about how gay sex works since Adrian mentioned something a few days ago that I was confused by…"

"So you looked it up online?"Bruce asked.

Steve rubbed the back of his neck, "Yeah…"

"Not the best idea. That could easily lead to pornographic material. Which I suspect is what you stumbled upon just now."

"Heh. Yeah. That's not what I was looking for."

"Well, what was confusing?"

"He mentioned that he would never 'go down and bottom' for Tony since he has better standards. I figured it was something to do with gay sex… but wasn't able to figure it out in a non-awkward way until Tony gave me this laptop and Adrian showed me how to use it."

Steve nodded, still blushing heavily, "Very informative… Why do you know so much?"

Bruce coughed, "Some college exploration, but mostly because I wasn't deterred from just asking Adrian. Don't know how he knew though, since he said he's actually a virgin."

"What? Really? Why?"

"Yeah. He said that it'll be such a trusting act for him and a sign of his commitment that to just do it on a whim with some random person he barely knows is inconceivable. Which is respectable."

"Yeah," Steve smiled. 'Both saving ourselves for the one we'll dedicate ourselves to. I'm glad.'
