The sound of marching was like an loud echo of thunder clashing with the shake of ground as the beasts rode ready for battle. Among them was the King of the Joutn in a chariot with two Ice-Bears pulling it and at his side on such a beast too large to imagen was Cruel-Stricker an legendry Juton know for striking down countless enemies.
It was like long ago when the both Kings from both Worlds were young teenagers, both too young to be Kings and yet they were. A battle like none other than what was fought on a middle planet, another on the Ice Realm and it ended with the Jotuns being outcaste from the other worlds as if they were nothing more than savages.
Smaller wolves seemed to be gathering around a large white wolf following the large beast they held a Royal Family Symbol on around its neck and if one was to assume it had the mind of person. It lead the pack of gray wolves following their leader and some of them had human warriors on their backs as they snarled, barked and growled at the golden figures approaching.
They came to a stop at the front lines barking and snapping at the Asguardians as the two armies faced each other.
The sound of a blaring horn was heard and suddenly the wolves broke free charging and a loud cry was heard from both sides as they charged with swords, axes, shields, spears, nets, arrows, and any manner of weapons as both cries were clear.
"For Jotunnhime!"
"For Asgard!"
A simple spell of War made all of them the same size for this inter-dimension battle. A blessing and curse from the Norns as they had this happen before. It didn't matter, they had new faith, new strength, hope and they fought for family and freedom as one not as a war-torn realm.
"Raaagh!" Helbindi hit one of the Warriors with his swords. "For Jotunnhime!"
Guarding his back was his brother striking those down. They fought as they had trained all their lives to protect their home, their family and to give hope to the new children of the Snow Realm. Hitting down another Warrior he charged at another that had been sneaking up on Býleistr.
Ali and Ran were watching the battle from the road as the Villagiers where hurried into the castle grounds. They had ben appointed to help out. An honor bestowed on them by none other than the King Himself and of course by certien love intrests.
"Ran, I shall tend to the children, can you tend to the elderly?"
"Yes, of course,"
They continued to help out along with the many who had been called to serve. Once everyone in the outer city was in the gates they started to close the door but Ali snuck out and started towards the road to the battlefield.
"Ali! Wait!"
Ali turned. "Do not try to stop me, Ran, I must go."
"I am not here to stop you." Ran said handing her dagger. "I'm coming with you."
Loki threw a dagger at an dark elf hitting him in the eye before turning to strike another one in the chest as the elf had tried to stab him. Using his magic blast some back to make room for Balder to charge through and take down more than five people at a time.
Thor landed on the ground hitting the ground and shocking the hell out about twenty elves. "I thought they would be more of a challenge!"
"Tis child play,"
"Do not let your guard down brothers, more await."
"I do love our bonding times!" Balder laughed. "Like the old times!"
"After we shall have a celebration!" Thor laughed. "One to last to decade!"
"Let us survive first." Loki called throwing another dagger. "Onward!"
Hawkeye was firing some arrows when he was knocked to the ground and someone was about to stab him when a shielded came down to block it. Doing a back roll Hawkeye shot the dwarf or whatever it was with an arrow.
"Thanks, Cap."
"No problem." Captain America threw his shield hitting someone before it came back. "Stay close, I'm going to need some backup."
"I'm on it."
"Alright straight down this way to gather the others and stay close."
"Whatever you say, Cap."
They hurried down away meeting up with widow who was struggling with a few creatures but she was holding them off, but still they were human. She joined them as they made their way down to try and make a path to get some lavage when a grey wolf came out of nowhere biting down on an Orger that was about to chop on Clit and it snapped it's neck before shaking it violently.
"Captain, Look!" Black Window yelled. "It's Iron Man!"
Looking up Steve saw Tony having trouble staying int the air as to of his repulses were sparking. Throwing his shield he knocked a sword that had been thrown at his friend and soon Tony was plummeting to the ground.
"Hulk!" Steve yelled. "Help Iron Man!"
Somewhere near by Hulk who had been smashing things roared loudly before jumping over a few things before grabbing Iron Man out of the sky and landed down smashing people out of the way before handing Iron Man over to Captain America.
"We need to move back to a safer place. Get Tony safe so he can fix his repulsers." Steve looked up. "Sun's getting low."
Fenrir came out of nowhere sniffing them before picking up Tony in his mouth before leaning down to let them on. They quickly climbed onto the wolf before the snow white wolf flew down the battlefield back to their side and stopping.
"Wait, I think both sides are retreating…" Clint narrowed his eyes to see better. "They are…"
"The sun's going down." Steve said. "It's time to regroup and when the morning comes the battles going to start again."
Loki ran around looking for his family and felt great relief when he found them and they happened to be looking for him. Rushing up to them he let his Bera scoop him up and hold him close. They spent a period of time just embracing at the knowledge that they were all fine, well, with a few scraps here and there.
When they moved apart Loki saw that Ali and Ran had come to tend to the wounded before returning to Loki's brothers sides. Loki sat with them before going when Fenrir came to seek him out and lead him back to his mortal pups.
Laufey held his helmet in his hands staring at it. Sighing he places it at his side looking up to the moon and the bright stars. The battles had been long, raging, they lost good Jotuns today and they would be laid to rest ad he prayed to the Norns that they were blessed for they fought for their realm, for their families and that they should have peace.
"You look worn, Laufey," Fárbauti spoke taking a seat next to his mate and wrapping his arm around his waist. "What wakes your mind so?"
"I mourn for those who have passed on the battlefield."
"As do I." Fárbauti looked over the field. "They shall be welcomed in Valhalia for what they have done."
"Yes," Laufey leaned against him. "Of course it is nice to… what is that?"
"What is what?"
"Do you hear that?"
Suddenly a wolf came trotting out of the forest wagging its tail cause the two Jotuns to stare before looking at each and suddenly they started to laugh. Just laugh. It came out of nowhere and they had no idea why because it was so dangerous and they were at war but soon it died down and they felt calm.
Loki was speaking with the Captain when he swayed and his eyes rolled back and he knew it was another memory.
However it was one Loki did not expect.
