"Fárbauti!" Laufey let out a horrified desperate cry as he fell to his knees next to his mate with tears streaming. "Fárbauti! Don't move!"
Coughing up blood Fárbauti looked up at him. "R-Run.."
A shadow appeared over them but the sound of a clang was heard along with thunder causing Laufey to cover his mate with his body. Looking back he saw Odin's son attacking him along with Loki and his younger two children. Moving back he looked at the wounds.
"Can you stop the bleeding?" Laufey asked only getting a groaning response. This was horrifying. Laufey didn't have healing powers like Fárbauti did. Yanking off his helmet he pulled out the cloth pressing it to his beloved's chest. "I'll try to slow the bleeding."
"Your Majesty!"
Looking up Laufey saw Ali and Ran running towards them with guards keeping them safe from any attacks. They knelt down pulling out clothes, potions, and a few other things trying to stop he bleeding.
"It nicked an his heart!" Ali cursed. "Ran,quickly give me a potion to stop the bleeding!"
"Here!" He handed it over. "I have needle and the moon dust thread. "I'll stitch it up."
Leaning down Laufey pressed his forehead against Fárbauti's whispering words of love, encouragements, pleads and begs for him to hold, not to leave him to pull through as he had done since they were only children.
"It's not working..." Ran said in shock. "Ali, we need a healer!"
"...I'll go get one." Ali jumped up."I shall returns as soon as I can."
"Fárbauti... please, please, hold on." Laufey begged softly placing his hands on the sides of his mate's face as tears continued to flow. "You will be well soon, beloved, you will soon be well..."
"Lau-Laufey..."
"Yes? What is it?"
"Father!" Loki cried running over looking over the wound. "By the Norns..."
Laufey moved back slight as Loki came to look over. "Do not worry, I shall heal you."
"Your markings!" Fárbauti gasped out before he shook. "Uragh..."
"Do not move!" Laufey shouted. "Loki, please, can you?"
"I can try." Loki summoned his magic. "I can heal the tare but it must be healed soon."
"Ran in on his way." Ali said as she continued to add pressure to the wound. "Now Prince, now!"
"Why do we have the casket?" Beil asked as he looked over it. "I mean, yes, we are the small borns but how do we use it?"
"I am reading... just a moment..." Gang sighed using his magic to flip the page trying to figure out what int he world they needed to do. "Hm... I don't understand but we can fuse our magic with it."
"For what?"
"For... Beil!" Gang gasped seeing the other inside the casket. "What are you doing?"
Laughing Beil pushed opened a little door way. "I crawled in from this. Come look in here! It's amazing."
"...Well..." Gang said softly before crawling into the thing. "Oh... wow, this is amazing... lookat all the markings."
"Yep!" Beil touched the walls. "They glow when I touch them. Look, touch them."
They spent about five minutes touching the inside walls when they heard someone running into the room before the Casket was picked up quickly causing them to roll to the floor of the giant box. They didn't know what was happening to they stayed inside the box looking out of the little slits when Gang gasped.
"We're on the battlefield...!" He cried softly. "The Asier!"
"We have to tell them we're in here!" Beil banged on the stop of the box. "Ran! Ran, stop, we're inhere...!"
"Ran!"
"Ran!"
However Ran couldn't hear them with all the noise on the battlefield. The other was zigzagging, jumping and making his way back to the Royal Family. Once there he handed the King the box but when the Prince rushed up he noticed them.
"Beil?! Gang?!" Loki shouted looking in. "What are you doing in there!?"
"What?" Laufey peeked in. "You two are to be in hiding!"
"We were trying to figure out how to use it!" Beil said. "We got stuck inside!"
Ali was suddenly screaming when she noticed them. "THE SMALLBORNS!"
Loki swore if she hadn't been trying to keep his Father alive she would've snatched them the second they crawled out of the Casket. Touching the Casket Loki manged to get it to open and his two friends crawled out.
"Wait... Gang, Beil! Sing!"
"What?"
"Sing! Use the Casket and sing to my Father!" Loki summoned up some magic. "Hurry!"
They gathered around the fallen Jotun. As they started to sing the casket started to glow. Sliver like ribbons started to flow from it over Fárbauti's eyes started to dull with Laufey still muttering devoted love to him.
Loki held his hands out as his friends started to sing. Once he could see strings of the magic swirling he reached over to pull over the strings with one hand and the other hand he pulled the songs from the air before cupping them together.
They fused into a bright glowing orb.
Taking in a deep breath Loki closed his eyes for a second before holding the orb over the wounds on his Father's chest. Leaning down Loki carefully blew the orb as he became a soft sparkling dust landed on wounds. Nothing happened for a moment when suddenly a bright light flashed causing them to cover their eyes.
Once it cleared Loki peeked over his arms that he used to shield his eyes. The wound had healed someone with just two thin lines from where the swords had been embedded into his body.
"Laufey... Beloved, I can't breath with your arms around my neck." Fárbauti chuckled before groaning slightly. "Do not cry, beloved."
"How could I not?" Laufey pressed his lips to his mates. "Thanks the Norns."
"And us."
"Quite, Beil!"
Loki had to lean against his Father's body worn out. "I... I don't think I can do that again... Bera... the battle?"
"Loki," Laufey moved back to scooping up his child holding him close and kissing his head. "Thank you, thank you for saving your Father."
"The Casket helped me but it also drained me." Loki sighed hugging him back tiredly before moving back to look at the golden eyes. "Please... do be careful."
"I shall." Laufey handed Loki to Ali who was already holding the other two smallborns to her as ready to die for them if need be. As Fárbauti sat up carefully with the wound closed but still sore he hugged. "I must leave... Wait for me when the battle is over."
"No, I will join you."
"No, you must rest. I will finish this." Laufey pressed one last kiss to his lips. "I shall return to your side as you have done to mine."
"Enough of this!" Odin roared as he hit his spear on the ground causing a wave of power to push both his sons and the two Jotuns back. "No more games!"
"I agree!" Laufey jumped out of nowhere rushing a blast of power to knock the old fool back. "It is you and I! We put this to an end!"
"Damn Jotun."
"Damn Asier." Laufey let his bow vanish before summoning his swords. "We finish this now!"
Odin got his sword up in time as the Jotun swung his down and was blocked. Pushing him back Odin stepped forward swing trying to get him in the side. Soon the clangs and the bangs of swords being hit against each other.
Laufey dodged backwards as the spear came at him. Flipping backwards he released an arrow. It was knocked away but it gave Laufey a moment to knock the spear out of his hands.
Jumping back he was barely able to miss the golden swords that come at him. Blocking another swing he tried to look for an opening. They continue their sword dance each trying desperately to get a cut in.
They continued to charge at each other.
"Gang, Beil." Loki called as he touched the casket again. "Come help me... I know how to end this War with no more death!"
