Chapter 6: An Encounter with Jade's Bucket List

Twelve years ago(No POV):

Tori awoke to the feeling of an empty bed. She could feel the warmth that was still in Cat's spot. Tori was about to call out for her when she noticed the shower was running. Reaching for her robe she smirked as an idea crossed her mind. The singer decided to surprise her girlfriend. Exiting her room she tiptoed through the hallway sneaking through the bathroom door. She grinned when she heard a muffled moan. Pulling back the shower curtain Tori immediately turned on her heel slipping on the damp floor.

"Good morning to you too, Vega", Jade West hummed. Her body hiked up on the shower bench. Tori's sister Trina between the goth's legs. "Wanna get in here so I can knock threesome off my bucket lis... Ow I was only kidding Treen"

"Tori, why don't you go downstairs. Cat's been cooking breakfast for the past half an hour", the older Vega said. Wrapping her towel around her exiting the bathroom.

"I guess I'll see you later, Vega", the goth walked off wrapping a towel around herself closing the door leaving the young singer alone. Tori jumped as Trina opened the door again. "Seriously sis, I was serious go to the kitchen your girl is waiting for you."

Tori nodded, turning out of the bathroom she could hear the heavenly voice of her girlfriend singing downstairs. As she neared the bottom of the stairs she saw Cat twirling and humming as she was pouring batter into a waffle maker. Tori couldn't stop the smile forming on her face as she made her way over to Cat. The redhead closing the waffle maker turning to Tori.

"So did Jade try the threesome line on you too", Cat chuckled, Tori's face turning a deep shade of red. "I'm going to take that as a yes."

"Let's just say it's something I want to forget as soon as possible", Tori shuddered at the thought. "I'm making them put a sock or something on the door from now on."

"I'm guessing that you haven't heard the news with this eventful morning of your's."

"No, I haven't. What's the news?"

"Your parents are taking all of us on a weekend away in Seattle", Cat couldn't help the squeal that escaped her. "It's going to be so much fun, Tori."

"Cat, you know that any time I spend with you is amazing" Tori smiled. "So this weekend is going to be the best time of our lives."

"So far. We don't know what will happen next. You never know we could end up married spending our elderly years in space."

"As fun as that sounds Cat, I don't think it's probable. At least in our lifetime."

"Kay kay. Are you ready to eat then", the redhead skipped over to the counter making up four plates.

"I thought you'd never ask."

As the pair sat down, Jade and Trina made their way downstairs. Trina nudged her side, the goth apologizing again for 'propositioning' the two earlier in the morning. After the girls all shared a laugh they ate in a comfortable silence. When they finished they all gave their thanks to Cat for cooking a great breakfast. Twenty minutes later Cat and Tori were doing the dishes from the meal as Trina and Jade left, passing Mr. and Mrs. Vega(or David and Holly they had insisted the gang called them).

"Hey girls. How was your morning", Holly asked. Pouring two cups of coffee for her and David. "Sorry we're back so late. Your father worked a case with a different precinct last night and I was stuck at the office with stacks of paperwork."

"It's alright, mom. You haven't missed too much. Although you did miss out on Jade propositioning you in the bathroom this morning", Tori joked.

"Well not exactly. She got me the other day saying that she had something called a MILF on her bucket list", Holly stated. "I was going to look it up but Trina said there was no need to."

"Believe me you really don't need to know what that is. It's kind of self explanatory", Cat quickly replied. "I saved you guys some breakfast though. I hope you guys like it."

"It looks delicious, Cat. Thank you", David and Holly replied.

Cat nodded as she and Tori left the house. Deciding to drive to the mall. The girls justified it as preparing for their trip to Seattle. Although they spent most of their time there in one of the many perfume shops. When they left the shop they ran into Trina and Jade, Both of them having a new suitcase and a bag(three in Trina's case) full of new clothes. The four of them decided on grabbing a quick lunch in the food court. The mall had opened a Nozu in the food court shortly before the New Year. The gang had been there the night it opened but hadn't been there since. After about an hour of sushi and listening to bad karaoke the girls left the mall; heading to their respective houses to pack for the upcoming weekend.

Present day:

"That weekend really ended up being a week. None of us wanted to leave", Tori chuckled as the spouses were watching a slideshow that Holly gave to Tori and Cat on their three year anniversary.

"Yeah, I didn't notice your mom taking so many pictures when we were there though."

"My mom really does know how to sneak pictures. You remember the slideshow she played before graduation. I don't remember her being around for half of those."

"Are we sure your mom isn't a spy", Cat replied. Smiling at a picture of Tori and Cat sharing a kiss in the rain. "Because I'm pretty sure we were alone for this one."

"If my mom's a spy it would explain so much of my teenage years", Tori yawned as Cat refilled their wine glasses. "Are you sure you're not trying to get me drunk tonight, Cat?"

"I don't know I might beat you there", The redhead laughed taking a drink from her freshly filled glass.

A/N: Hey there guys me again. Next chapter we check in on the girls during their time in college. Now this may upset some people, but I planned this to have 10 maybe 12 chapters altogether. So we're nearing our end on this journey. But for those that don't know about it. I recently posted a Jori two-shot titled 'A Day in the Life'. If you guys haven't read it yet give it a quick read. Also I'm sorry if this chapter was short or felt rushed. But I'm currently in the middle of traveling and I wanted to get something out when I had some free time.
