I do not own Naruto
(Yuuki at 6 years old)
I followed Shisui to our usual training spot. He seemed eager to teach me something.
"What do you know about medical ninjutsu?" He questioned.
"It repairs the cells on a cellular level right? It takes extreme chakara control to master and extensive knowledge of the body?" I questioned more then answered.
He nodded. "Basically yes. You studied the books I gave you." The faithful student I was, I nodded. "Good. I am going to teach you medical ninjutsu."
I blinked. "Wasn't it like invented by Hashirama Senju? And I didn't know you mastered it?"
"Well yes and I never did. I only know the basics but I have faith you can figure the rest out." His hand started glowing green. "Observe."
Now
"I looked at the design of the seal triangle form. It wasn't particularly strong and I wouldn't have looked twice at it in any other circumstances. It only activated when looked upon with the sharingan or at least someone with an eye kekkai genkai. This means it is lot more difficult then it lookes. It seemed highly unlikely that it belonged to either of the bandits. This takes specialized knowledge we don't posses." I summed up.
"basically you don't know." Tajima deadpanned.
I nodded. "This takes a seal master. The style lines up with the Uzumaki but I can hardly imagine them starting a conflict."
Tajima stroked his chin. "You are wrong about that. Mito Uzumaki will marry Hashirama Senju soon, meaning a new alliance is in place for them." But this didn't seem like a Senju move.
"What we're the two of you discussing?"
"Ren gave me something I was looking for, for a long time." He gestured for me to continue. " It is a book about time space and sealing, it is extremely old and hard to come by."
He raised an eyebrow. "What are you going to do with it?"
"It is just an idea. But if you could manipulate time, with seals which legends says you can. Theoretically speaking you could also manipulate the time of your body. In particular restore it to an earlier time. That is my first interest. Also creating a seal that allows you to travel through space. A teleportation technique would also be interesting to look into. But most of the scroll is coded."
"The first jutsu you want to make. Theoretically speaking it would be able to make immortal then as well right?"
I shrugged. "Theoretically speaking yes. But I don't think the body could take such stress over longer periods of time. Perhaps if it used nature chakra, but this is all theoretically speaking. I was more planning on using it as an healing method."
Tajima raised one eyebrow. "What started your interest in seals, Yuu?" Yuu was the name Izuna used when he was little because he couldn't pronounce my name, it stuck around.
"I don't have anything outstanding about me. I have very good chakara control and could become a medic. Seals allow me even with my relatively small reserves to use large jutsu. Simply because I stored them earlier. I want to be in the field, it is my manner of protecting what I hold dear."
He smiled knowing his sons fell in what I hold dear. "Keep up the hard work. I want to be debriefed every month about your progress."
I bowed. "Yes sir."
"The Nara have made clear they will stay neutral during the next battle." Tajima spoke.
"We don't know if we can trust them. Nara's are incredibly cunning." On of the elders said.
"Even more so then the Senju" another added.
"I know." I could hear the tiredness in Tajima's voice. He was not amused. "The next battle will take place near the desert. It gives us an advantage over the boy who can summon trees." Yes he was talking about Hashirama. "The battle will start in 2 months time. The schedules and teams will be presented in the baracks tomorrow, however only an elite few will go with me. Everyone is dismissed."
Everyone rose at the same time. I spotted Tamaki in the corner of my eye and quickly followed him, biding farewell to an unamused Izumi.
I worked my way through the mass, earning a few glares along the way.
"Tamaki" I grabbed him by the shoulder.
He turned around clearly looking uneasy. "How have you been?" he asked.
I smiled. "Good but I haven't seen you in a long time. Where were you?" with long I meant two months.
"The northern compound. My little sister also resides there."
Both of my eyebrows went up. "You have a little sister?"
"She was born two months ago. She's a bastard dad fathered. Mom isn't very happy about it, but then again she never is happy."
I touched his shoulder gently. "How about your father?"
He raised his shoulders. "The usual going behind Tajima's back, getting a warning and doing it again. That was what you wanted to know right?"
I looked down awkwardly. "Well yes. And how you were doing?"
He smiled down. "Relatively good."
"Your dad has calmed down?"
"I will always stay the family disappointment."
I smiled. "Well we both are."
He smiled. "The sister of the legendary Shisui, who is the best genjustu user in the compound, can use the mangekyo and has an infinite amount of ninjutsu." He said jokingly. We both knew it held some truth.
"Yes that's me. The legendary Yuuki, famous for being the best sensor, her above average genjustu skill, mediocre ninjutsu and taijutsu skill."
"Well that is compared to Shisui and Izuna. Your taijutsu is well above average for a woman."
"For a woman but I have to fight men."
He smiled. "I know the struggle."
The thing with Tamaki was, he was so normal. Well his father was a sexism asshole but Tamaki was perfectly normal. Me being always surrounded with genius found comfort in the fact that one of my friends was normal.
"Nee-chan!" I was tickeling to and she couldn't stop laughing until. "Pee! Pee! Pee!" I stopped. She started crying, she wet herself.
I grabbed her by the shoulders and started making my way towards her room. "Sorry imouto this is my fault. I should have known when to stop." She sniffed.
"Yes" She simply said. She sniffed. "Can we take a bath together?"
"I took a bath this morning." Her eyes watered more. "Okay, why not?" My back was hurting anyway.
I grabbed some clean clothes of her and wrapped a towel around her so no one could see she wet herself. I grabbed some clothes of mine and two big towels and started making my way towards the bathing house.
"She grows every time I see her." A kind voice said.
"Well at this age that is normal I guess, Kiyoko" I answered.
"wee" Kiyomi splashed around the water, having fun and smiling. Normally I wouldn't allow this at the bathing house, but it was just me, Kiyomi and Kiyoko.
"I guess so." Kiyoko was a civilian woman. She helped at the hospital but held no position of importance. That is why we got along so well. My father may have had status in the clan but I was still an orphan and a girl none the less. Kiyoko was 16 and engaged to a fellow shinobi whose name I have already forgotten. "Are you may be thinking of getting married?"
I almost chocked. "no?" I asked more than answered.
She laughed. "Not even Ren, perhaps?"
"No!" I answered quickly.
"It is just…"
"what?"
"You know, the two of you are almost always together. Rumors were also going around that Ren was getting married, and I just assumed that it was you. Then again you are kind of young." She explained.
"No, it isn't me and he didn't mention anything to me." Why would Ren keep this from me?
"Like I said, they are rumors." She signed. "On the brighter side! My lovely fiancé and I finally picked a date to marry!" She explained like the sun.
"When?"
"This winter!" She beamed.
"Look nee-chan!" She pointed at the cherry blossoms. "They are pretty!"
I smiled. I still couldn't understand, how they could send children to the battlefield at such a young age? She could barely read; her survival instincts are zero.
I looked at our front door, seeing a pissed of Shisui standing there. For any normal bystander he looked like he normally would, but I could see it from the way his shoulders were tense. He wouldn't get angry, no he bottle's it all up inside. I don't know which one I prefer.
"Nii-san!" She said happily and jumped in his arms. Shisui didn't say anything and simply shunpoted himself out along with Kiyomi.
Might as well start cleaning the house and prepare for the mission. We would be leaving in two hours, leaving me just enough time to prepare. I wonder how the mission would go? Madara and I haven't been working together in forever, the last time was when I was five and that was a game not even a mission. We always got along. He could be temperamental but never towards me only Izuna whenever he annoyed him and never long.
"Yo!" speaking about the devil. "Yuu-chan Madara asked me to inform you the mission will be rescheduled."
"To when?" I asked Izuna.
"You'll leave in 15 minutes." Seriously? They tell it this late? I walked to my room to prepare my bag, Izuna following me.
I rolled my eyes causing Izuna to smirk. "How long did you know?"
"Well I ran into an old lady an-"
I smiled grimly at him. "sometimes I don't know whatever to hate or to love you." I stated.
He grinned. "I hear that a lot." Izuna was always testing waters with me. I think one of his life goals is seeing me angry but quite frankly the only person I have ever gotten angry with during this life time was Shisui, and Izuna was never there to witness any of those fights. "You know Madara hates people that are late."
"Then how come he loves you?"
Izuna faked a pained face. "That's mean."
I threw my backpack on the bed. I always had one prepared for situations like these. I turned towards Izuna. "I need to change."
"Then change the only person keeping you back is –"
"I mean clothes." I deadpanned.
"I can watch."
"And I can break your neck."
Izuna raised his hands in defeat. "Alright I get the hint."
I threw myself on the bed. Finally, Madara travelled at top speed and that for six hours straight. He really wanted to get this mission over with. He wasn't angry when I arrived a couple minutes late. Just by saying Izuna's name he understood the situation. I guess I wasn't his only victim.
"We leave before light tomorrow." Madara stated.
"okay" I mumbled back too exhausted, Kiyomi had nightmare and she decided to crawl into bed with me just one tiny problem. She sleeps like the hulk, and she can throw hard punches for a four-year-old.
I sat up and opened up my backpack, deciding to grab something to eat. Madara was already eating some bread.
Did I mention, this was the only room available and it had one big bed. I didn't mind sharing with him. Madara is seventeen now. He should be in his hormonal teenage years but then again I was a flat chested fourteen-year-old. Although I don't care much about look, I hope that puberty will do good one me. It wasn't that I was ugly now, I just missed being a woman.
I slowly sunk into the hot water of the spring. I needed this. I think both me and Madara needed this.
The only other people present at the spring was a group of middle-aged women gossiping about younger men.
I sunk a bit deeper covering my mouth with water.
"Girl" snapping out of thought I looked at the women. The woman with the blue hair had called me. "You are traveling with that rough looking hotty right?" she asked leaning forward.
I nodded. "Yes, why?" I sat slightly straighter.
"You are hisss? " she asked.
"Niece. We are traveling to meet up with our parents." She smiled clearly getting the answer she wanted.
"So he is single?"
"He is only 17." I said clearly annoyed.
She raised her hands in defeat. "A bit overprotective?" she teased.
I nodded.
"Why are all of you here?" I asked curious. The town we were in was rather poor. The inn we were staying in was the most expensive one in a 50 km radius. And the inn wasn't even close to Uchiha standard. Due today farming ground the raging clans nearby the area wasn't exactly rich.
"We are all women who left our husbands and are now lesbians." She answered with a straight face.
I giggled. "In that case yes he is single."
She smiled.
We joked around some more after that.
"You are bleeding." Madara said
