Okay so spoilers for those who haven't seen season eight and if you haven't then do. Because it has some damn good redeemable moments. And honestly its a disservice if you don't watch it for yourself. So please do.

Okay now onto my feelings.

HOLY SHIT WAS THAT FRIKING EVERYWHERE. I came into the fandom pretty late like right after they posted season six about to drop season seven. And honestly there was a lot wrong with voltron and their still is. Though even through all of that I still adored the show. *long suffering sigh* The ending of season eight felt. . .open? I guess the writers were like we gave you cannon now do with it what you want with out characters. But whatever, Shiro got his happiness and honestly everyone's pissed but I'm kinda happy. I mean whenever that guy (I really dont remember his name) was on screen and with Shiro I was like they could be cute together. Granted I still have so oo oo many damn questions about adam but whatever.

Now onto allurance. Honestly I was never a shipper of it no because I stand by klance (which I do) but because I didn't get enough romantic tension from them. I mean Allura didnt know about lances' true feelings until the mice told her. (Which was unfair.) But I can say that watching them two was a bit bitter sweet because I just felt like it was an actual injustice for some of my favorite characters. I dunno I feel like some of the episodes should've been longer to I guess establish that.

Now the klance hints were pretty damn strong this season and honestly they were some of my favorite parts though I loved the sam/ slav broship.

Now things that pissed me off were That LANCE HAD A SWORD WHY DIDNT THEY LET HIM USE IT!? LIKE KEITH GOT A BLASTER! BUT CANONCIALLY LANCE UNLOCKED A MUTHERFRIKIN SWORD BUT NEVER USED IT. HOW DARE THEY. THE ONLY TIME MATT SPEAKS IS LITERALLY LIKE ONE LINE IN THE END!

The animation was phenomenal and when atlas and voltron became Vatlas i was FREAKING SHOOK. I think that was actually my favorite part though Coran doing a yelmor call was pretty damn close. Also pidge winning that hat and shiro winning that arm wrestling trophy? Icing. Mfe speciallized Episode? FUCK YEAH.

Their were times I Sobbed. Like when The realities were collapsing and they almost didn't make it out. Or when zethrid was about to kill Keith. Or when the paladins were fighting the paladins of old. Or when lotors backstory was shown.

The last episode hurt. It hurt a lot. Because they poetically killed off a beautiful character who just wanted to see her people thrive. Though when you watch the season again and look back its hinted at plenty of times. The paladins pain was my own and I wasn't ready to say goodbye. Though I was really shook when lance was (given?) Altean marks like all the fanfiction i am ready. Also lance as a farmer? Yeah I knew that was coming.

All in all. This season wasn't perfect. It was flawed and could've been done better but honestly? It was good and sometimes that's all you need.
