Promise To The Sun

It was a dark night with a glowing crescent moon shining bright up in the sky filled with bright stars. The demon looked up at the beauty of the night, focusing on the faint glow of the sun that was behind the moon.

A ray of sunshine hiding behind the moon...covered by the darkness of the sky...

Shaking his head he closed the curtains of the window and went towards his contracted one, crimson eyes glancing on the cup that once conditioned some warm honeyed milk.

A yellow colour bright as the sun….warm and kind…

He kneeled down besides the bed with eyes on the sleeping child's ring that he forgot to take off.

Golden reflection illuminating the truth…

The crimson eyes were filled with sadness and concern as he sensed the soul was in a troubled sleep.

"...Ciel!" The child shouted in his sleep and reached out his hand, a strong scent of panic radiating from his soul with eyes filled with tears. "DEMON….I WILL-"

You shall but not with the creature that was I.

In the child's dream he appeared as a burning light glowing bright, rays vanishing away the people of sin then there was nothing but darkness with a lone candle shining in front of the child.

"...Even if the shining light was to get consumed by darkness…" His voice echoed as the candle melted away with the warm flames gone.

"...I shall guide you to safety….and shield you from the cold…." He said in the same echoing voice as he held the child securely in his arms.

….Especially from the cold darkness of myself…

"I promise to fill your soul with happiness, My Little Lord….Soleil…" The demon whispered soothingly his promise as he hugged his contracted one close, crimson eyes filled with determination and compassion.

Now this is my kind of Sebastian! Filled with kindness and concern! A true butler and perhaps even somewhat of….a Father.

Ps. In my mind Ciel and Soleil have turned 15, one year younger than me. The reason being the time I got into Kuroshitsuji I was 14 while 'Ciel' was 12 and then stuck on 13, so I decided to age him(now both of the twins of course) along with me. :3
