I'm back sorry it took me so long. Anyway here is the next chapter to Mistero!
Mimi woke up early the next morning and started putting on her compromiser uniform. She didn't really have to wake up this early because her Job with Zelman didn't start until Zelman was done with his meetings for the day. However, Mimiko didn't want to deal the Jiro this morning when she had returned Jiro had apologized for his behavior and went back to normal. Mimiko had not told him about her new job and wasn't going to until she had started it and it was too late for him to protest.
Mimiko quietly snuck out of the apartment and went over a few blocks and picked up a bagel and cream cheese for breakfast. Then hailed a taxi to take her over to Zelman's mansion. Once there, Mimiko got out of the cab paid the driver and the walked up to the door and knocked.
The door opened to reveal Sayuka.
"Oh hello Sayuka" Mimiko said cheerfully
Sayuka only huffed and turned around fully expecting Mimiko to follow her, which she did. Mimiko followed along silently and looked around the mansion. Last time she was here she was too nervous over the fact that she was about to meet the Zelman Clock.
Sayuka was brooding she hated that Mimiko Katsuragi was now here in her master's mansion. She didn't understand why she couldn't help her precious master with this job after all she understood how her master worked best.
"Sayuka" Mimiko spoke up
"Yes?" Sayuka huffed
"Well I was wondering where we are going?" Mimiko asked
"We are going to the same room where you meet my master the last time." Sayuka answered
Mimiko nodded and kept silent the rest of the way. Finally they arrived at their destination and Sayuka opened the door and lead Mimiko into the room. Mimiko sat down on the same couch as before.
"My master Zelman has meetings all morning so you will be waiting her for awhile."
Mimiko nodded "That's alright I expected as much"
Sayuka closed the door and then stormed off. She was going to prove that her master needed her more in this assignment and how much of a valuable asset she was.
Zelman's meeting room:
"Zelman-sama, what are we going to do about the coven? Their numbers have died significantly since the Kowloon shock."
"I honestly could care less about the coven." Zelman said sitting back in his plush chair.
"But Zelman-sama the coven brings in the blood that we need"
"Are you trying to tell me that I can't survive without them?" Zelman said with his eyes slightly glowing red
The vampire that was talking gulped and sat back in his chair "N-no Zelman-sama, that's not what I was saying. I am simply saying that the coven is an important to us lower vampires."
Zelman was about to reply when a scent reached his nose. "Mimiko" he thought
"Well gentleman as intriguing as this conversation is I honestly don't care. Figure it out yourselves"
Zelman stood up and strolled out of the room but not before hearing the others whisper amongst themselves about what they should do.
Sayuka was waiting a few paces down for him. When she saw him coming she perked up and put a smile on her face.
"Lord Zelman you have another meeting in an hour and…"
"Cancel them Sayuka" Zelman said while he continued to walk
Sayuka faltered in her step but caught up to Zelman quickly
"My lord?"
"I have something I must attend to and I am going to be busy for the rest of the day with it so no more meetings cancel them all. Better yet tell everyone I don't care what the fuck they do. I will only come if the meeting is with Princess Nina or Lord Sei and the company. Do you understand Sayuka?"
"Yes my Lord" Sayuka said and continued to follow behind him silently.
Eventually they reached the doors Mimiko was in and they walked in. Zelman looked over to the couch to find Mimiko sound asleep. He smirked and sat on the opposite couch from her.
"I will wake her for you"
"No leave her Sayuka. She will wake when she is ready."
"Yes, is that all Lord Zelman."
"Yes, you may leave"
Sayuka bowed and then turned to walk out of the room closing the doors behind her.
Zelman sighed and relaxed grabbing a coke off the table in front of him. Happy to finally be rid of her, and her over powering perfume. Zelman took a deep breath and Mimiko's scent of vanilla hit him. Zelman tipped his head back and stared at the ceiling until he heard a noise coming from Mimiko.
"No don't… Please ill do anything just…"
Zelman looked at her "She is talking in her sleep"
Mimiko's face scrunched up as if she was in pain. Zelman stood up and walked over to her with every intention of waking her from her obvious nightmare. However, before he got there Mimiko sat up clutching the front of her shirt and breathing heavily.
"Compromiser?" Zelman questioned
Mimiko's eyes focused back to reality and looked over at Zelman.
In that moment Zelman was reminded of eyes that looked at him exactly as she used to. With fear and the need for someone to hold her and comfort her.
"Ah Lord Zelman" Mimiko said
The look was gone now Mimiko's eyes held trust and something deeper but not yet there.
"Compromiser, you have kept me waiting."
"Oh, I'm sorry"
"Never mind that, get up we are going out."
"Out? Out where?"
Zelman didn't respond but just started walking towards the door. Mimiko jumped up and quickly followed after him. Not soon after they were back in the same limo that took them to pick up their guest. Once they pulled away from the mansion Zelman begin to speak.
"You were told the specific's of this assignment correct?"
"Yes Zelman-sama"
"Good, as my new pet you are to dress as such. You will only wear the finest clothes and under no circumstances are you ever to put on makeup or wear any perfume."
"Understand?"
"Yes"
"Good now the next is that you will be living with me from now on. If they were to find out that you lived in an apartment with another vampire they would question my ability to keep my pet under control and question why I let another vampire near you. Kotarou is fine but you are to keep your interactions with Jiro strictly within my presence. From this day on you are no longer a compromiser but my favorite pet."
Mimiko blushed and turned her face to look out the window. The way Zelman said it made it seem well that she actually meant something to him when she knew she didn't.
Finally they arrived, the driver opened the door for them, and they both stepped out. Zelman lead the way into the store with Mimiko walking a little ways behind him.
"Very good, she already naturally knows how to act."
Once inside the owner of the store looked up and gasped and quickly walked over to them.
"What can I do for you Lord Zelman?"
"I need your finest clothes for this girl here." Zelman said
Mimiko gasped and stared at Zelman. "Lord Zelman I can't…"
"I know that I will paying for everything that you require from now on."
"But Zelman…"
"No complaining" Zelman said
Mimiko sighed and nodded her head there was not way she was going to be able to talk her way out of this.
The manager finally came back with several dresses in his hand. Zelman picked out the blue one first and handed it over to Mimiko to try on. Mimiko took it from him and walked over into the changing room. One of the women employs went with her to help zip up the dress.
Once done Mimiko stepped out so that Zelman could decide whether he liked it or not. Zelman turned around and his eyes widened slightly.
Mimiko's dress hugged her curves and showed off her figure well. It was a strapless blue dress with a sweetheart neckline and it came down to just above her knees. The light blue bow wrapped around separating the top from the rest of the dress and tied in a bow off to the side. Over all Mimiko looked stunning.
Zelman nodded "find her some shoes and get her more dresses that are blue. Then find some skirts and shirts for her. She needs 10 new dresses and at least 20 outfits." Zelman said
They were in the store for over two hours but Zelman didn't seem to care. Once he was finally done getting everything he wanted for her. He paid for everything, then Mimiko and him left and got back in the Limo.
"Where to now Lord Zelman"
"You shall see" Zelman said
Mimiko sighed and leaned her head back. Unknown to her Zelman was watching Mimiko out of the corner of his eye.
Back at Mimi's Apartment
Jiro slammed the top of his coffin open and got out. Surprised to find that it was already early afternoon and Mimiko hadn't woken him up yet. Jiro walked into Kotarou's room. Kotarou was up and playing with his toys. He looked up when Jiro walked in and smiled.
"Big brother your up!" Kotarou said excited
"Yes, where is Mimiko?"
"She went out early this morning, she left me some food in the fridge last night. She told me not to wake you up this morning, that there was no work today.
"Where did she go?"
"I don't know she didn't tell me"
Jiro's eyebrows knitted together. At the same time the doorbell rang. Jiro turned and walked out of the room to go answer it.
"Hello Jiro" Nina said
"Princess?"
"Yep" Nina said she brushed past Jiro and sat down on the couch in the living room. Kotarou after hearing whom it was came rushing down the stairs.
"Hello, my name is Kotarou want to play?"
Nina laughed, "I will when I am done talking to your big brother is that all right with you little one?"
Kotarou nodded and ran back up the stairs and waited for Nina to come and play with him.
"I came by to talk to you about Mimiko Jiro" Nina explained without preamble.
Jiro sat down and was listening completely. "Where is she?"
"She is on a assignment that I have personally sent her on." Nina answered
"Alone, Why would you let her go alone tell me where she is I will…"
"Calm down Jiro, she is with Zelman Clock they are working on this assignment together."
Jiro growled in annoyance when he heard that.
"Jiro!" Nina reprimanded swiftly
"You can not have this type of behavior you haven't even claimed Mimiko as your intended and you certainly hadn't made any advancement on her sexually."
"That's…"
"Yes yes I head from Mimiko you told her that you would eventually have to give your life to Alice when it becomes time."
Jiro nodded
"You are a fool, You will not die by giving up your blood to Alice, it goes in session's her drinking your blood would be a slow and none life threating process."
Jiro's head snapped up in surprise "But… Alice"
"Alice only told you what would happen should she was reincarnated she did not tell you the specific's because she didn't believe she was going to die anytime soon." Nina explained
"So I can…"
"yes you fool you could have had a relationship with Mimiko"
"Could, what do you mean could?"
"I mean I have been in Mimiko's presence long enough to notice the signs. Her blood does not call to you. Sometimes it does and other times I have seen her passing it switches to someone else. I don't know whom just yet."
Jiro stood up his fist clenched. "Will you stay here and watch Kotarou I am going out to find Mimiko."
"No, I will not, besides the sun is high in the sky and you can't interact with Mimiko as you please anymore or it will destroy her mission before it has even begun. Mimiko will be staying with Zelman Clock from now on."
Jiro sat back down in his chair and places his head in hands. "How am I to bring her back to me?" Jiro asked
"I don't know that is for you to figure out. Well I have come and said all I wanted to say, I will be taking Kotarou for the day."
"Kotarou" Nina called
Kotarou came walking down the stairs this time. "Yes"
"Come with me we are going to play with me all day."
"YAY" Kotarou yelled and he zoomed towards the door
"bye big brother" Kotarou called and was out the door.
Nina looked back at Jiro one last time and shook her head then followed Kotarou out the door.
End of chapter 5 I know it is much longer than the others. I did that on purpose because I wanted to make up for all the time I neglected towards the story! Review please.
