Zelman's Mansion
Mimiko woke up with a yawn and looked around her room. She smiled and relaxed back into the pillows. She was amazed Zelman Clock had come into her room to comfort her last night. She blushed remembering the feel of his skin and muscles when she latched onto him.
"Get a hold of yourself Mimiko!" She yelled at herself
Sighing Mimi got out of bed and headed to the closet and picked out on outfit for the day and walked to the bathroom to take a quick shower. Walking out while trying to dry her hair she heard a knock on the door.
"Yes come in!"
Someone opened the door that wasn't Sayuka. "Hello, my name is Blake I am a vampire that works for Zelman-sama I came to tell you breakfast is ready.
"Oh thanks I will be right there."
Blake nodded "I will just be outside the door then."
Mimiko threw the towel back into the bathroom pulled her hair up into a bun so it wouldn't get her back wet and walked out the door. Blake was standing there as promised and started leading the way to the dinning room.
He opened the door for her and then walked in himself. Already at the table was Zelman sipping on a can of coke. Zelman looked up with a smirk and gestured for everyone to sit down.
"Now that you are here I can begin explaining everything while you eat Mimiko." Zelman said
Mimi nodded and began to eat the food on the plate in front of her.
"Blake here is my right hand no one usually sees him because he is always in the shadows. He handles the jobs that Sayuka can't." Zelman started to explain
Mimiko looked up at Blake and actually took a look at him. He was handsome with black hair and bright blue eyes and pale skin. Mimi felt a pang her heart he reminded her of another black haired vampire she knew.
Blake smiled at her "It will be a pleasure to work with you Miss Mimiko."
Mimi smiled as well "Likewise" and then went back to eating her food
"Anyway the mission is simple. Find the black market of vampires and illegal selling and buying of blood and take out the trash. I have already contacted the leader and all we have to do is prove we are trustworthy and get into the inner circle. You must be prepared for anything Mimiko this will not be like your compromiser work."
Mimiko paused putting a piece of egg in her mouth. "I know", and put her fork back down.
"What am I to do"?
"You are to act as my servant and do everything I tell you too. All the vampires will know his that you are my favorite and Blake here is my right hand." Zelman said
Mimiko nodded
"You will spend the day with Blake and he will go over proper etiquette and other such things. Also, when I require blood you will give it to me even if it is in front of others. You cannot disobey me at any moment. Do you understand?
Mimiko gulped and nodded her head
"Good, I have work to do. Finish your food and then spend the rest of the day going over things with Blake."
With that Zelman swept out of the room and headed to do who knows what, Mimi sighed and quickly ate the rest of her food.
Once done Mimiko stood as well as Blake and he once again led her out of the room. He brought her to a room similar to the one she had first met Zelman at.
"Alright Mimiko, no need to be nervous just relax and I am sure you will be fine." Blake said
Mimi laughed and sunk into the couch she was sitting on. "I hope so"
Blake smiled with one fang sticking out and then gestured to a pile of papers on the table.
"Alright, first things first. As Zelman-sama already said follow every order he gives you without fail. Sometimes he will not always be there but I will so no worries there. Remember, to these vampires you are nothing important so always walk behind Zelman-sama and I with your head bowed in submission. You however are never to submit to anyone but me and Zelman-sama."
Mimiko nodded taking everything in.
Blake continued, "Also, as I am sure Zelman-sama has already told you, no contact with other vampires outside of Zelman-sama's presence. You will go everywhere with Zelman-sama and I ok. Any questions?
"Um.. what about you? Zelman didn't say anything about you getting blood." Mimi asked
"Ah that do not worry I will only take blood from you if Zelman-sama thinks it is necessary which will probably be never. Have you given a vampire blood before?" Blake asked
"Yes Mimi sighed and look away with a sad expression on her face."
"You love this vampire then."
Mimiko's head snapped back to look at Blake her eye wide with surprise.
"What?" Mimi yelled
"Calm down, I have seen that look before. He was the first vampire to ever bite you I am guessing."
Mimi nodded her head
"Ah, well you might find your feelings towards this vampire change when Zelman-sama bites you. One vampire has only bitten you, so you are currently attracted to his bite only and have not experienced others. Take Sayuka for example she has only ever been bitten by Zelman-sama so she is obsessed with him because of it."
"So it is like having one flavor of ice cream every time without experiencing the other great flavors out there." Mimi said
"Kinda, vampire bites are addictive because the one being bitten feels ecstasy when they are. Every vampire bite is different none is the same. So you might find that your feelings for this vampire are there because of his bite or not. You will never know until Zelman bites you."
Mimi sighed "I don't really have to worry about it either way. The vampire I like is in love with someone else."
Hmm.. "really"
"Yes even though that person is long gone he still pines over her." Blake sighed and shook his head
" I am sorry Mimiko must be hard. I was bitten and turned by a rouge vampire that had no bloodline. I don't really know what you are going through."
Mimi smiled "It is ok, I don't even know why I am telling you my life story and trouble."
"It's ok we will be working closely together so we must get to know each other to accomplish this mission after all. Mimi smiled and nodded
Guardian Hotel
"Sei it will be fine Mimiko can handle this." Nina said
"It is not that princess I am worried about Jiro."
"Jiro.. why Jiro" Well I have a feeling by the end of this mission Jiro will have lost Mimi."
"What do you mean?"
Sei looked out the window with his hands behind his back looking nothing like the ten year old.
"Jiro had the chance to mate with Mimi before she started this mission because she had only experienced the feeling of Jiro biting her. However, the moment Zelman bites her Jiro will know and will feel the connection between them vanish."
Nina sighed "I know and that is part of the reason why Jinnai and I decided to send her on this mission with Zelman. I know Alice Evee she was not the sweet innocent girl she portrayed to Jiro half the time."
"If I know her like I know I do. She probably turned him because she did not want to feel lonely anymore and wanted someone by her side."
Sei looked over at Nina "Yes you are probably right."
"I just hope everything goes well."
"You and me both Sei you and me both"
How was that? A little boring I must admit but I am simply laying the groundwork. Have patience the crime ring will show up eventually and more insight to Mimi's past to come.
