Sorry about the wait. I got busy with stuff. Here you go!
"Basilio. Flavia. Pleasure as always." Robin greeted the two Khans seated across from him. "Now, I'm here to discuss your place the Shepherds."
"Place among the Shepherds?" Basilio asked.
"Yeah. You're both fired." Robin replied, "You need to be focusing on your jobs as Khans. You're both in charge of a nation, although not at the same time, but through some strange tournament. Speaking of which, Lucina still won't give me a straight about if she was planning on killing us in that battle or not. Care to tell me, Basilio?"
"Wait...That's what all this is about?" Flavia asked. "You're just firing us?"
"Yeah. I'm making some cuts." Robin replied.
"We...never really considered ourselves part of the Shepherds." Basilio said.
"Oh." Robin said. "Well, I guess we don't have a problem here. Hope you enjoyed your stay in Ylisse. Now get out of my office before-"
"That's the only reason you called for us?" Flavia asked. "Because you wanted to tell us we were no longer part of a random group of soldiers that helped out during a war effort?"
"I'm sorry." Robin said, annoyed. "Is there a problem?"
"Yes!" Basilio replied. "Do you have any idea how long the trip is between here and Ferox is?"
"Well, I figured something this emotionally taxing would be something you wanted to hear in person." Robin retorted.
"Why do you think this would be 'emotionally taxing'?" Flavia asked. "Because we want to be part of your little club?"
"We barely connected with the other Shepherds!" Basilio added. "The only people who have come up to visit often are Lon'qu with Cordelia and Olivia with that wizard boy!"
"Huh. I haven't really talked to Rickon lately." Robin commented. "Weird. I'll have to revisit him later."
"That's not to say I haven't had a few...surprise visits." Basilio commented.
"Basilio…?"
The great Khan turned to the other side of his bed.
His eyes widened as he realized he was not alone.
Henry grinned at him, holding a fire tomb.
"~Do you want to kill a snowman?~" He sang.
Basilio shuddered.
"Hey, we aren't all like Henry!" Robin retorted.
"How did he get in my house?!" Basilio exclaimed. "He could have hurt my family!"
"I'm sure you two could have handled Henry!" Robin exclaimed.
Flavia and Basilio looked at each other, looks of disbelief on their faces.
"Do...do you think we're married?" Flavia asked.
"Oh...You're not?"
"Why did you just assume...Is it because we're both black?!" Flavia exclaimed in disbelief.
"No no no no no!" Robin exclaimed, frantically waving his hands and shaking his hands. "That has nothing to do with it! I don't see race! People tell me I'm white, and I believe them because that's what color my hands are in the pre-rendered cut-scenes."
"Didn't you just say you don't see race?" Basilio asked. "What do you even look like?"
"Hey!" Robin exclaimed. "I'm the only one here that can break the fourth wall! And the audience hasn't asked about that yet! Anyway, I just assumed you were married because you both seemed so close, and the Shepherds tend to marry in the group."
"Just because we're close doesn't mean we're involved with each other!" Flavia exclaimed.
"Well," Basilio mentioned, "There were a few pre and post battle moments of passion-"
"That he doesn't need to know about." Flavia exclaimed.
"Didn't you just say you had a family?" Robin asked.
"Yeah, but we're pretty open in Ferox!" Basliso explained. "Why, just last week-"
"Like I said:" Flavia interrupted him. "He doesn't need to know."
"...I love my wife." Robin reminded himself. "Well, anyway, I also thought you guys were married because you were in the Shepherds together. You know how many couples were formed in that team?"
"That doesn't exactly strike me as healthy, falling in love while murdering people."Flavia noted. "What would you do to bond after the war is over? What if that was what was holding the couple together?"
"Hey!" Robin exclaimed. "That's how me and Lucina bonded! And we're fine!"
"What about the others?" Basilio asked.
"All fine!" Robin exclaimed, then paused for a second. "...Well, Cherche did fuck her dragon, but I'm trying to actively get rid of that mental image, so let's not talk about that."
"Are you even going to ask us about our families?" Flavia asked. "Or invite us over for dinner or something? Make the trip worth it?"
"We all know the damage is done." Robin admitted. "Now, I told Chrom you guys were coming, so you can go do some official shit."
"Oh. Well. I guess this trip won't be a complete waste." Flavia commented.
"Well, yeah. I mean, I know you guys are going to want to recruit me later for your next tournament." Robin added. He noticed their uneasy expressions. "...Because I'm such a good fighter…?"
"...Do you know if Lucina is-"
"Get out of my office."
So yeah. This combo chapter didn't really work out as well as I wanted it to. It's funny, but the voices sound too alike.
The next combo chapter has very different characters.
