A/N

Sooooo... yeah, welp... This is kinda important so don't skip the notes, kay?

I know you're probably all like "OMFG! She updated at last! Squeee!" BUT no, not really... I'd love to say I'm not giving this up and I will finish this story, I really would. But I honestly don't know if its ever going to happen... It's been like what, 2 years(?) since the last update? God we're in 2016 already! I don't think I'll ever abandon this completely, like, maybe it'll be one of those stories that gets updated once in a blue moon...

Or, y'know, if I ever randomly get inspired to write this again...

I'm not really that into KHR at the moment anyways... Kinda moved on to comic books, specifically the Batman comics~ :) And well, I'm not really on this site that often anymore anyways. I've pretty much moved on to AO3 (so much less restrictions over there), and trying my hand at some M rated material.

So yeah... Here's the unfinished chapter that I can't even remember where I was going with this... I could post something on my KHR blog with a basic rundown of the events of Phase One, Two, Three and some little one-shots/spin offs I had in mind, of ya want...? Nothing too spoiler-y, just a simple overview, thats likely subject to change anyways... (pretty sure theres a link to the blog on my profile page...)

I left Celica with Takumi-kun before he was pulled off to the side while the rest of us made our way up to the ring. During this time I can only think of all the many ways this can go wrong… Sempai and Azusa-san were having a hushed argument just a little ways ahead of me, though I couldn't quite make out what they were talking about.

Azusa-san then turns to the rest of us looking pissed (as usual). "Okay, the Baseball idiot will go first, then the grinning idiot, then the French girl, kuso boss you're second last, then I'll finish off with some explosions and we hightail it out of here before the smoke clears. Got it?" She finishes with a glare.

Azusa-san… Is it so hard for you to use our names…? But everyone agrees anyways; I'm just glad we at least have a sort of plan… and I'll have a bit of time to come up with some kind of act…

The loud applause of the crowd makes me jump and the sudden realisation we're about to go out there makes my stomach churn. I can just make out the small green and pink figure of that Rita brat expertly performing acrobatic stunts on the trapeze. Hmm, guess appearances can be deceiving…

Suddenly the lights go out and a spotlight appears over us. Oh shit, I'm guessing that's our cue! Azusa-san shoves me roughly on the back and I stumble forward, closely followed by the others. We run out into the centre of the ring, waving enthusiastically at the crowd while the Ringleader introduces us as the Junior Vongola Circus troop.

As the applause dies down, Sempai takes it as her cue and steps forward. The rest of us run off to the side so as not to end up in the way of whatever it is she's going to do…

I watch as she takes a deep breath, as if to calm herself, and then suddenly goes into serious mode. No jokes, she just went from happy-go-lucky baka, to totally focused with this intense look on her face. It's almost creepy how that kinda resembles my "Uncle" Yamamoto… I have the sudden desire to hide behind someone…

Quicker than my eyes could follow, she grabs three knives from her belt and tosses them up into the air! The crowd "Oooohs" as she catches them and tosses them up again, juggling them expertly like they were harmless plastic balls (not the incredibly sharp and potentially deadly blades that they are).

But then she and tilts her head to the side in thought, as if deciding what to do next. Well, that's reassuring… Rather unexpectedly, she's saved by Sunny-san who steps forward grinning and gave Sempai a huge thumbs up. Sempai, in turn, nods and grins obviously understanding this weird code…

Sunny-san pulls out a random stack of plates from somewhere and then suddenly dashes out into the ring. He throws the stack up and does a somersault, landing in a handstand, and then catches the plates on his foot! I couldn't help but clap along with everyone else for that stunt! Next does this head spin thingy and the plates start flying up into the air!

My jaw drops in disbelief as Sempai pauses mid-juggle, grabs a knife and tosses it at a plate with pinpoint accuracy! Or at least it looked like pinpoint accuracy from a distance… but she hit the plate and that's the important thing. She then flings all her knives at the remaining targets, the crowd going nuts every time she hits one.

Sunny somersaults back to his feet but not after flinging three more plates at Sempai, only she doesn't have any more knives! I curse under my breath and prepare to dash out there, but Sumi-chan stops me, "She's fine, see?"

Sempai's eyes widened a little, obviously being caught off guard, but she quickly recovers and pulls out a katana. She swings it as if it was a baseball bat, cutting up all three plates in one movement. The crowd cheered and clapped madly and Sempai starts bowing and rubbing the back of her head sheepishly.

"Well, that was interesting."

"Interesting…? More like unbelievable… Since when can she even do this kind of stunts…?" I mutter back quietly. After seeing this I seriously have no idea what I'm gonna do… Luckily for me there's still Sunny-san's and Sumi-chan's act to go.

Sempai comes running back just as he takes the centre stage. "Haha, that was fun!"

She almost got seriously hurt and she's laughing like an idiot… what's with these baseball nuts…? "How do juggle so many knives without cutting yourself…?" It must take a lot of practice.

"Haha, what are saying? These toys wouldn't cut me!" She replied with a grin… You have got to be kidding me… "They're very well made aren't they?"

No matter what angle I look at it, they look one hundred percent real and incredibly sharp… "Y-yeah…" I stutter awkwardly. Seriously, how can she possibly think of all this as a game!?

"I'm impressed. Her ability to deny reality is even greater than yours." I don't think that's a good thing right now though…

Sunny-san was up next and to be honest I have mixed feelings about this guy. For one we only just met the guy like an hour or so ago, but he acts like he's been friends with us for years. But even though he's a total stranger to me, I kinda feel like he's not really a bad guy… and somehow I think we can rely on him a bit… probably…

The weirdest thing about him (aside from the fact I have yet to see his eyes) is that he reminds me so much of Reborn-sensei, even though they look and act nothing alike! They just have this kind of, oh, I dunno… aura is it…?

"Cielo, going off topic here…" Oh, right… I'm supposed to be thinking up a circus act of some kind…

Hmm, maybe I could just juggle my fire around…? No, I'm more likely to burn the whole damn tent down… I wonder if candle lighting (on a big enough scale) could be entertaining enough…? Probably not…

Merda, I should have just said I was an assistant or something…

I jump as the crowd applauded loudly and look up to see Sunny-san grinning madly while waving around enthusiastically. Crud, I think I missed his act. Huh, that wasn't very long… or was I just zoned out for longer than I thought? Great, another act is and done with and I still got nothing…

Hold on… "What's he doing?" I whisper to Azusa-san (since she seems to be the only one paying attention to anything at the moment).

"Baka! He's going to perform some tricks on the high wire!" She growls back at me, "Oi, Frenchy! Get out there and distract everyone while the grinning idiot is climbing up!"

Sumi-chan just giggles a little, "Hai!"

"Her cheerfulness is pissing me off…" How can she be so damn calm about everything…?

"Haha! Everyone's having so much fun!" Yuki-sempai laughs and slings an arm over my shoulders. Sigh, if that's true… then I must be the only one not having fun…

"Shut it Baseball idiot! This is serious!" And so begins another one-sided argument between Azusa-san and Sempai (at least she has the sense to whisper loudly instead of shout).

Opting to ignore them, I slip out from under Sempai's grip and turn my attention over to Sumi-chan's performance. So apparently she can do magic tricks… I'm not really surprised (the whole magician thing seems to suit her for some reason), but what kind of stuff can she do exactly…? Like little party tricks or something…?

Well, I guess we'll find out soon enough…

So, there ya have it... The end for now, unless I get randomly inspired some time soon... (don't hold your breath, but don't give up either, it could happen)

Lots of love NyanNyan-suru
