Author's Note: I'm so sorry! I have no excuse for how long this took! I'm just ridiculously busy. And my muse is extremely uncooperative, even on a good day! I promise I have not abandoned this drabble series. This takes places during The Mark of Nimueh, and it is my first attempt writing for Uther. For anyone patient enough to still be reading, thank you so much! Tell me what you think!
Disclaimer: I do not own Merlin.

That day of his bargain with Nimueh, his intentions had been good as well.
