Thanks for reading and enjoy this last chapter.

Having spent the day, at work and feeling a little over the arguing with her older brothers; Melinda once home started to make a start on what hopefully for the three of them would be a nice dinner and also as well a chance to actually, maybe hopefully talk without the bickering and arguing that had taken place since the three of them had moved into the manor to live together.
"Okay it smells really gross in here" said Chris, as he walked into the kitchen and put a load of account books from the club on the kitchen table. "Are you making a potion or something"
"No, dinner" replied Melinda, looking up to her brother from the pot she was stirring on the stove. "And if you don't want to eat it, well then I'm not going to force you too"
"I was just asking, gees" said Chris, as he went over to the sink and grabbed a glass and turned on the tap to fill it with water. "Don't have to get snappy at me"
"Yeah, well you don't have to come in here and say what I am cooking smells gross, now" replied Melinda, feeling her resolve to try and get along with her brothers slowly start to disappear. "So you can cook something for yourself, and I'll just have this for myself"
"What is it exactly that you're cooking?" asked Chris, as he placed the now empty glass down and went over to what Melinda was stirring.
"Chicken biriyani" replied Melinda with a small smile. "Mom's recipe for it"
"Hmm, yeah that always smelt weird when she was cooking it" replied Chris, with a nod and Melinda looked to her brother. "But it always ended up tasting really good when done"
"So now you're wanting some of it?" asked Melinda with a laugh as Chris gave a laugh as well.
"Yeah" he replied, with a nod also. "I mean, if that's okay with you"
"Sure" said Melinda, with a nod as well. "It's not like I can eat all that I have cooked here by myself now"
"You could maybe" said Chris, with a laugh. "But then you'd probably feel rather ill" he continued, with a smile and Melinda looked to her brother with a laugh. "Anything I can do to help?"
"Umm, yeah the rice needs starting" replied Melinda, with a nod. "I've soaked it, and all that but just needs to be kept stirring"
"Got it" said Chris, with a nod also; as he turned on the hob of the stove top to start on the rice for the dinner that night; and continued to talk with his younger sister, until Wyatt got home and the three of them could hopefully sit down together and maybe try and get along with one another.

Arriving home, from work and heading into the kitchen; Wyatt was kind of surprised to see his two younger siblings getting along with one another; especially after the events of last night and also that morning.
"What are you two up too?" he asked, as he walked over to the fridge and grabbed out the container of juice, before then grabbing a glass and pouring himself a drink. "Or do that I not want to know as you're once again plotting against me"
"Why would we be plotting against you?" asked Melinda, looking to the older of her brothers. "That's just ridiculous"
"Exactly, what Mel said" said Chris, with a nod. "And if we were, well we would make it that you can't even get in the manor with a spell"
"We all know you couldn't come up with a spell like that Christopher" replied Wyatt, with a laugh as he returned the bottle of juice to the fridge. "Although little mouse on the other hand" he continued, looking to his sister. "Her I don't trust, not to do something like that"
"Said by the guy who when I was born, apparently would orb me to Grampa's house because he didn't want me around" replied Melinda, with a small laugh.
"Did that to me as well" said Chris, with a nod and looked to his older brother. "What was that, huh?"
"Sometimes, you just annoy me" replied Wyatt, with a smile to the two of them. "And kind of still do as well"
"Well, ditto you" said Melinda, with a laugh and Wyatt looked to her with a laugh. "So are you going to be eating with us?" she asked. "Or did you once again order up takeout, because you've forgotten how to cook now?"
"No, I didn't order takeout" said Wyatt, shaking his head as Chris gave a laugh. "And I also haven't forgotten how to cook either" he continued as he went over to where Melinda had the chicken simmering away on the stove top. "Biriyani"
"Uh huh" replied Melinda, with a nod, as Chris also added, "Rice as well here"
"Yeah, should be awesome" said Wyatt, with a nod as he picked up a small spoon to try some of the sauce that was in the pot also. "Especially if it's anything like how mom makes it"
"Well it's her recipe" said Melinda, with a smile to him as Wyatt looked to her. "So it should hopefully be"
"Tastes okay, so far" replied Wyatt, with a smile also to his younger sister. "So I'll just take my stuff upstairs from work, and then it should be ready, yeah?"
"Just about" replied Chris, with a nod and Wyatt looked to him with a small nod also; before he orbed upstairs to take his work stuff up there and also change clothes, before the three of them sat down to have dinner together; getting along just that little bit better than they had been than the last few days since they had moved back into the Halliwell manor together.

With their meal being disturbed by a demon that appeared in the manor, the three of them orbed up to the attic, to get to the book and see if they were able to identify who they were dealing with; as the demon also as well shimmered into the attic of the ancestral home; and Wyatt went over to the book and flipped over the pages, telekinetically, of what was their magical inheritance.
"There has to be a spell in here or something about the demon" said Wyatt, as he flipped through the pages of the book, as the demon materialized a fire ball and aimed at them.
"You're going to die witches" he said, launching it towards them; Melinda freezing the fireball, and Chris sending it flying back in his direction, with the demon shimmering out before it made contact and instead blowing up the sofa that was up in the attic instead.
"Okay, what the hell" said Chris, as the demon reappeared and smiled at them and created another a fireball. "That was a perfectly good sofa"
"Well maybe we fight fire with fire then" said Melinda, as she created a molecular combustion; the demon though once again shimmering out before she got a chance to hit him with it, and instead ended up sending the table that they had set up with a map for scrying over.
"Mel, seriously" said Chris, looking to his sister. "Are you trying to destroy the place"
"I don't see you doing anything that is productive in helping here" replied Melinda, as Chris looked to her shaking his head and then over to Wyatt, who was still flipping through the book.
"Wy, stop with the book, and help" said Chris, looking to his older brother. "Before it destroys the house"
"He can't be unvanquishable though" said Wyatt, as he closed up the book and went over to his two younger siblings, just as the demon reappeared; and he went to create an energy blast; a power that came from their whitelighter side rather than that of their witch side, but the demon shimmered away once again.
"Oh come on, get back here" said Chris, as Melinda saw the book open by itself and then the pages start to flip wildly, as the demon reappeared and started to come towards the three of them.
"Stay away from them" said Wyatt, stepping out in front of Chris and Melinda, and putting up his hands which generated his force field, and Melinda quickly ran to the now open Book of Shadows and saw the page that it was open to, and that there on a previous blank page was some unfamiliar cursive writing.
"To bring forth the new Charmed ones. We call upon the Halliwell line, and all the power before. Bring to my brothers and me, the power of the trinity" read Melinda, and the book flipped closed and the triquetra on the front started to glow, and a light as well also incase them.
"Mel, what did you do?" asked Wyatt, quickly looking to her with the force field still holding and the demon trying to breach the shield that surrounded the three of them.
"Hopefully something that works" she replied, with a nod, and moved over to her two brothers, taking one of each their hands. "Power of Trinity"
"The trinity power, it's what mom always said we'd become" said Chris, with a nod as well; and Wyatt looked to him nodding also as he lowered the force field surrounding them and the demon smiled as he materialized another fire ball and went to throw it a them, believing them to be off guard; but it bounced back at him and send him into a flurry of destruction.
"Nice spell, sis" said Wyatt, looking to her as the demon disappeared from sight, and Melinda looked to him with a laugh.
"I can't take any of the credit for it" said Melinda, as she let go of her each of her brother's hands, and then moved over to the book and opened it back to the page where the spell that she'd recited was still written; Chris and Wyatt each taking to standing on either side of her. "I recited this, and yeah"
"Huh" said Chris, looking to the spell. "I've never seen that before in there"
"Yeah, me either" replied Wyatt, shaking his head; all three of them growing up having read the book many times and knowing where to locate a lot of the spells and also demons that had attacked their family when they were once the Charmed ones, and also ones that might possibly still attack now them, in the future. "It's definitely not Mom's writing"
"Or even Dad's" said Chris, looking to him; as some more writing then appeared as if magically as it was being written under the spell Melinda had read out. "Umm, what's happening" he said, looking to his older brother and younger sister, as the message continued to be writ.
"Blessed be, my Trinity Ones. I'll always be here to protect you" said Melinda, as the message finished being inscribed, and looking to her two brothers. "Grams, maybe?"
"Makes sense" said Chris, with a small laugh; as Wyatt shook his head and flipped the pages of the book and going to a page where Grams had wrote many a spell when she'd being alive.
"Not Grams" he said, shaking his head; and Melinda and Chris looked to the page. "It's not her handwriting"
"Well who then would be writing like that in the book?" asked Chris, as Wyatt gave a shrug of his shoulders.
"Whoever did, what they did" he replied. "Well it worked"
"It did yeah" said Melinda, with a nod and small laugh. "And maybe knowing that we can actually work together like we just did and defeat hopefully anything that comes to try and harm us" she continued as Wyatt and Chris looked to her. "It gives me belief that we can make this living together thing work"
"Hmm, and maybe stop with the petty arguments we've had going on since living back here together" said Chris, and Melinda looked to him with a nod.
"And maybe let older brother have the biggest room?" queried Wyatt, and Melinda looked to him with a laugh as did Chris.
"Yeah, I'm not feeling that generous" she replied, with a smile to him; as Wyatt went to protest, but Chris cut him off first.
"Let's just leave Mel in the big room, huh" he said, with a laugh and Wyatt looked to him. "Less likely than for any of her crap to be in the rest of the house"
"Crap, I do not have crap" she replied, as Wyatt gave a laugh and nod and Melinda looked to her oldest brother with a frown; Chris giving a laugh as well; and then the three of them heading back downstairs to finish with their dinner that was interrupted by the demon who had tried to come and kill them.
The new power of three, or rather the power of the trinity; stronger now and more bonded to one another then they'd previously been as the took up the mantel of the demon fighting and all other things that, that entailed.

The next morning, Wyatt and Chris were in the kitchen; Wyatt sitting at the table, reading the paper, and Chris at the kitchen bench, getting some breakfast.
"Morning" said Melinda, as she walked in, and Chris looked up at his younger sister.
"Oh hey" said Chris, and as Wyatt, also said "Hey Mel" as Melinda went over to the bread bin and opened it. "Okay, who ate all the bread?"
"Toast on the table" said Wyatt, and she looked over at the table where a stack of toasted up bread was.
"Okay" she said, and walked over to the table, and grabbed a piece of toast before sitting down. "So I'm thinking whatever that spell was last night that maybe it worked a little too well on you both"
"Like we said last night, we have to at least try and get along" said Wyatt, as Melinda looked to him with a nod. "And I guess also you having the big room, well I can deal with it"
"We do" said Melinda, with a smile. "And also thank you" she continued as Chris came over to the table and sat down, placing the bowl of cereal he had on to the table as well as the coffee pot.
"Of course, we're not going to be getting along all the time" said Chris, grabbing the holographic paper from Wyatt.
"Hey, I was reading that" said Wyatt, and Chris looked at him and laughed.
"The only thing you ever read is the cartoon section" said Melinda as she picked up the coffee pot and poured some into her cup.
"Yeah so, it's the best part" said Wyatt, as Chris and Melinda both laughed. "Besides, I already know everything else that is in the paper, I work there, remember"
"Just have some coffee" said Melinda, with a smile to her oldest brother. "You're less cranky in the morning, after you've had coffee"
"Says little miss ray of sunshine" said Wyatt, with a smile and laugh, and taking the coffee pot from Melinda; just as Piper came in through the back door.
"Morning you three" said Piper as she walked into the kitchen, the three of them looking over to her.
"Oh hey mom" said Chris, as Melinda asked "What you doing here?"
"I just left some stuff" said Piper, going over to one of the kitchen cupboards and grabbing some pots and pans out of it.
"Hey, I wanted those" said Melinda, with a small frown to her mother, as Piper looked over to her with a smile.
"Well you're going to have to get your own" she replied, as Wyatt and Chris laughed; and Melinda looked to her two brothers.
"Oh yeah laugh it up chuckle heads. It just means I won't be doing any more cooking" said Melinda, with a smile to them, and they both looked over to where Piper was still getting pots from the cupboard.
"Hey mom, leave them will you" said Chris, as Wyatt laughed and Melinda gave a nod.
"Do not make your sister do all the cooking, that's not fair, especially when you both know how to cook" said Piper, looking at the three of them.
"Believe me, don't want to her. She cooks weird stuff" said Wyatt, with a laugh and looking to his younger sister with a smile. "Like what you cooked up last night"
"Oh, you mean stuff that isn't junk" said Melinda, with a laugh also as well as Chris. "And you didn't seem to be complaining last night when you had a second helping of it"
"Only because I was hungry" replied Wyatt, with a smile to her. "And not because it was good" he continued as Melinda, looked to him quickly sticking her tongue out.
"You three are getting along better, this morning" said Piper, with a smile to her three children, noticing that the bickering didn't seem to be as it was yesterday or the days before; but more so how it was when they were younger at the more of the kind that happened when they were growing up. "What changed since yesterday, when you were at each other throats?"
"Nothing" replied Chris, with a smile and looking to Melinda and Wyatt.
"Just a little sibling bonding last night" said Wyatt, with a laugh and Piper looked to him as Melinda added "Halliwell style"
"Oh, demon" said Piper, with a smile. "That would do it, yeah".
"Demon, don't be silly" said Chris.
"Yeah, that's just crazy talk mom" said Wyatt. "Demon, really"
"Welcome to the big league" said Piper, with a smile to them and Chris, Wyatt and Melinda looked at her and then at each other. "I guess I'll see you later then"
"Tomorrow" said Chris with a laugh, as Piper gave a laugh also.
"No, I don't think so. I think you've got a handle on things now" she replied, with a smile to the three of them.
"So that's why you've been coming around every morning, to check up on us" said Melinda, looking to her mother who gave a small nod.
"What can I say I was concerned, and I wanted to make sure you three were getting along" said Piper with a smile to the three of them "And now I guess you are"
"Yeah, we are, but it still doesn't mean that we're not going to argue with one another, occasionally" said Wyatt, as Melinda and Chris looked to him giving a nod and small laugh also.
"I wouldn't expect that, believe me" said Piper, as Chris, Wyatt and Melinda all looked to her with a laugh. "Bye, love you guys"
"We love you too, mom" said Chris.
"Yeah" said Piper, with a nod and smile as Melinda also said "Bye", and Wyatt added "See you mom" before she left the manor via the backdoor of the kitchen where she'd come in.
"You got to give mom, credit" said Chris, looking to his brother and sister with a laugh.
"Yeah" replied Melinda, with a nod. "Knowing what it means to live here and have the responsibilities and all that, she had good reason to be worried"
"And we are in the big league now, being in this house and all" said Wyatt, as Chris looked to his older brother with a nod.
"Evil definitely doesn't stand a chance then" said Melinda.
"Not a one" said Wyatt, and the three of them laughed and continued with breakfast, and thus becoming the next generation of Halliwell witches.
THE END.
End Note:
So just a few quick points I want to address, in case people are a little confused by this series.
It WILL NOT be following the canon of the comics, or even have the children of the Charmed ones with the same names as they were in there, with the exception of Wyatt, Chris, Melinda and Henry Jnr. The powers that the three children of Piper and Leo also have, will be vastly different to that of the comics, also - and as one reviewer pointed out, in this seemed to be more fairly balanced out; since I also really found it to be not making any sense that Melinda wouldn't have inherited her mom's powers, and that Paige's twins would be the ones to be getting them.
Also I am for the most part going to be steering clear of names starting with the letter "P" - just because I do know from what I have already planned out, and what I did write before the comics came out, they there will be a few names in the future, future that start with the letter "P" and those names are also names that ended up being used for the children of Phoebe and Coop; and personally I feel as if they would all be wanting to take a step away from another generation of fully "P" starting names.
And I also know as well, who is writing in the book; but who that is won't be revealed until a much later storyline of which I have planned. But any guesses as to who you may think it is, are more than welcome in a review.
If it's not making any sense at the moment, then please feel free to send me a PM and I will answer you with a bit more of an explanation; since like all things that I write, I have an insane amount of notes for this and therefore can probably explain it all a little better one, on one.
Thanks, for reading this story; and I will be back soon with the next one in this series. And whilst you're waiting for that, then also too check out the one I have set in season 6 of Charmed, where we see Melinda also turn up in the past after escaping from the future as well.
Love to you all,
KJ xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
