Chapter 17

Lion-o and Tygra were going through the mountains. They were looking for a short cut. "I think we're lost," Lion-o said.

"I don't think so this place looks familiar to me." Tygra said.

"Those flashbacks again?" Lion-o asked.

"Yes, so if I recognize this place we might be able to get through," Tygra said. Then a snowball hit him. He turned around and saw Lion-o with a snow ball.

"You know I almost never see you admit when your wrong." Lion-o said.

"You tend to act like a child." Tygra said. Another snowball hit him. "Okay it's on!" he said then grabbed some snow and began to throw it. Soon Lion-o and Tygra were laughing and having fun. This was a dear moment between them that both brothers always cherished when it happened. "Okay that's enough we better get going." Tygra said.

"Okay," Lion-o said when he put his hood back on some snow got in his nose and he sneezed.

"Bless you," Tygra said.

Then there was rumbling. "AVALANCHE!" they said. They got under a rock and hid. "That was too close for comfort you okay Lion-o?" Tygra asked.

"Yes I'm fine," Lion-o said.

"Hey look up there," Tygra said. "That cave looks really familiar, the place that it is set in." he said. Then had flashback he held his head.

"Tygra another flashback?" Lion-o asked.

"Yes, it's like I know that cave and there is something special about it," Tygra said. They went inside to investigate. "There is a village in here and it looks familiar." he said.

There were forms inside and some came up to them they were wearing hooded cloaks. "Welcome friends, we love to have guests," one of them said.

"Hi, sorry to bother you but I think my brother and I are lost," Lion-o said.

"I don't think I am I just seem to know this place." Tygra said.

"Tygra you don't want them to think we're crazy," Lion-o said in a hushed tone.

"Tygra?" the others said they sounded shocked.

"Your name is Tygra?" one of them asked.

"Yes, but you are asking if you know me," Tygra said.

"That's because we all know you," the figure said then dropped his hood. "I am Caspin of the tiger clan, these mountains are Thunderian Territory," he said. "We have long hoped and waited for this day the whole village will celebrate! Welcome home," he said. "Your parents will be thrilled to see you," he said.

They went through the village all the tigers looked shocked. They came to a large building with double doors. "Look who it is Lord Javan and Lady Sirbriena," Caspin said.

The two tigers sitting at the front of the room saw Tygra and got up and came to them. "Tygra is that you?" Sirbriena asked.

Javan saw Tygra's left should it had the lighting bolt birthmark. "Sirbriena look!" Javan said pointing.

Sirbriena gasped then the two tigers threw their arms around Tygra. Tygra let out startled gasped. "Our son you have come back we feared you were dead." Sirbriena said.

"You thought I was dead?" Tygra asked.

"Yes, but you are home now, my son and nothing will ever tear us apart. It's like you have been brought back to life!" Javan said.

"Why didn't you come looking for me?" Tygra asked.

"We search for days when Caspin found your cloak by the river we thought you drowned." Sirbriena said.

"Why are you in these mountains and why is it Thunderian territory?" Lion-o asked.

"After the great mutiny we tigers were an important asset to Thundera like the other cat clans and the first king Leo appoint my ancestor Tygus as leader of the tigers and asked him to place an area for to be the tigers' homeland and it will become an official part of Thundera's territory. We settled in these mountains due to supplies getting low and it was full of food and fresh water from a spring. We lived here for generations communicating with our fellow cats of other clans. But we have a problem when Tygra was born a monster called the Fangstire came and cause problems. When Tygra was four the monster attacked again and I had Tygra run away from the danger and that is how we found his cloak later." Javan said.

"I did fall into the river but I didn't drown, I was trying to swim a shore, then I washed up into the royal garden of Thundera. The king and the queen took me in as their own even though they were already expecting a baby. I then the queen died giving birth to Lion-o and I promised her I would look after Lion-o." Tygra said.

"Today Tygra you become heir of the land of your own," Caspin said.

Tygra was shocked.

The next day Javan and Sirbriena showed him a lot in the village. Tygra was happy to have found his family. But the Fangstire was still a risk. Tygra managed to Chase the beast away after breaking out one of it's fangs.

"We better get going we need to find a pass through the mountains." Tygra said.

"I know where it is," Javan said and showed it to them. Then he gave Tygra something. "Tygra, this whip has been in our family for generations. Now it's yours." he said.

"Wow, thank you," Tygra said.

Then the other Thundercats went through the mountains to get to the next town.
