Chapter 7

Zac took his hand off of Leonardo's head and immediately Leonardo fell to the side.

"Leonardo!" everyone cried.

"What did you do to him!?" Raph yelled.

"I did nothing. All I did was showed you who he was and that was just too much for his mind and it shut off." Zac explained.

Zac stood up and walked over to the three turtles. The power he held in his little body was too much for the three turtles and they knew it but they did the best they could to look like they weren't in fear. Zac raised his hand in the air.

"Do not fear me I am only here to see my brother and that is all. But I will warn you that the boy will be in danger the more he lives and the more the war between both worlds continues." Zac said.

"What can we do to stop it?" Donnie asked.

"Rapha must be resealed again. There is no way to kill him so he must be placed back in his spot and that is why the boy is needed. He is the other half of the fourth king Shabriri but also is the only friend of Rapha. The power within the boy's body will bring an end to the war." Zac said.

"Why do you want Leonardo?" Raph asked.

Zac looked at Raph confused.

"Yeah you heard me. I know you're not telling us this out of the goodness of your heart so spill it. Why do you want him?" Raph demanded.

"Watch the way you speak to me turtle." Zac said in a threating voice.

"The reason I'm telling you this is because I'm tired of seeing my brothers and sisters dying because of what is happening down there. We are the only reason why the battle hasn't spilt over into this world. But we can not hold it off much longer and soon you will see the evils of the world come forth and destroy everything and everyone you love." Zac stated.

Raph looked at his brothers then back at Zac.

"How can we reseal Rapha?" Raph asked.

"First is the boy but from the way you are acting I can already see that will not work. Then you'll have to travel to both sides of the outer realm and retieve the keys used to lock Rapha up." Zac said.

"That sounds easy enough." Mikey said.

Zac shook his head.

"You will need to die to get the keys from each realm but you should know they are heavily guarded but also only those of good heart can touch them." Zac said.

"We have to die?" Donnie said taking a big gulp.

Zac nodded his head.

"Only the dead can enter either side so you must die to enter them but I can already tell you, that you will not be able to take any of the keys turtles." Zac stated.

"Why not?" Raph demanded.

Zac walked over and poked Raph's plastron just above his heart.

"You're heart and soul have been tarnished too far for me to heal it. None of you can take the keys but he can." Zac said turning his attention to the unconscious Leonardo.

"No, no, no. We are not dragging him into this." Raph shouted.

"Yeah he's already wanted by demons why would you think we would bring him down there?" Donnie asked.

"Because he is your brother, my brother, and the only one able to stop this war. If you don't want to stop it then fine but the boy will die then." Zac stated.

Zac started to walk away when Raph said, "Stop"

Zac turned around to see the three defeated turtles.

"If Leonardo says yes we'll do it. But only if he says yes." Raph said.

Zac nodded his head, motioning over the nurse he whispered into her ear then disappeared into a flash.

The nurse walked over to Leonardo and picked him up and brought him over to the turtles. Carrying him in her arms the nurse extended her arm out to the turtles.

"Hold on to me we're about to jump." The nurse said.

The three brothers placed their hands on top of the nurses hand and in a flash they were gone from the gym into an old house covered in piles of books a living room with a fireplace with a table against the wall below two large windows facing the front with books, a lamp, and a bottle alcohol with a cup with a small amount left in it.

The nurse brought Leonardo upstairs to a small bedroom with a cot in the middle of the room and a single lamp hanging above the bed.

The nurse came down changed out of her nurse clothes and into her regular clothes. A dark blue blouse with a white undershirt, a tan jacket over everything that hang low just below her knees, dark blue jeans with a black belt and charcoal black work boots. The woman tied her long wavy blonde hair back into a loose ponytail and placed a necklace with a pentagram around her neck.

"That's better. You don't know how long I've been undercover at that stupid school." The woman said.

The woman walked over and poured more of the alcohol into her cup and took a big glup from the cup.

"Much better." The woman said smiling and looking at the cup.

"So you three want to try and end this fight without the boy dying." The woman refilled the glass and took another drink. "Well talk to me cause I'm the only person who can help you and that boy upstairs." The woman said pointing her glass upstairs.

"Who are you?" Mikey asked.

The woman placed her glass on the table.

"Sorry forgot you're not one of us." The woman walked up to the three brothers and extended her hand. "The names Mackenzie call me Mac and you three?"

Mikey took her hand first saying, "Michelangelo call me Mikey."

Donnie was next, "Donatello, Donnie for short."

Raph took her hand begrudgingly, "Raphael just call me Raph."

"Okay Raph now explain to me on why you want to defy the boy's destiny." Mac said lending against the table with her back.

Raph explained to her about their past with their brother and almost losing him once then losing him for good 17 years ago to Hell and now reborn as Shabriri the fourth King. Now reunion with a boy who is holding half of their brother's soul they want to keep it in him so that he could grow up and have the life they want him to have.

"He needs to live Mac." Raph said.

Mac looked up towards the ceiling and breathed in a deep sigh.

"Well its not going to be easy. First you need to prepare for the battle in front of you." Mac said.

"We know how to fight." Donnie stated slightly annoyed.

"Yeah I can tell have fought but you have never fought something like these boys. Demons and angels are very different to the flesh you fight." Mac said.

"How do you know all of this anyway?" Mikey asked.

"Easy, I'm a soldier and I deal with problems on the neutral area with others." Mac said.

Mac explained that she was one of nine people scattered across the globe who are trained since birth to fight beings from both sides. Those who live through the program are sent away to an area of the earth and only meet with each other once or twice a year to talk and give their reports. But something like this war is breaking the invisible barrier between both worlds and if that breaks then the earth is in jeopardy of being destroyed from the inside out.

"So are you still willing to give everything up for that kid upstairs?" Mac asked staring the three brothers down.

The three brothers nodded their heads without hesitation.

"You could die and if you do you'll probably be damned." Mac said.

But the three brothers without hesitation or taking back their word continued to nod their heads.

Mac snickered under her breath.

"Been a long time since I put my neck out like this." Mac said.

Mac walked up and placed her hand on Raph's shoulder shaking him a bit.

"But with risk what's life. Alright I'll teach you my ways." Mac said smirking.

"We start tomorrow. For now let's drink the night away." Mac said walking into the kitchen.

"Um…I don't drink." Mikey said.

Mac poked her head out of the kitchen yelling to Mikey.

"Too bad little boy. My house my rules."

Mac came back into the room with two six packs and threw one to each of the boys.

"We toast tonight." Mac said raising her can in the air.

"For what?" Donnie asked.

"To our last night on this planet. Cause tomorrow we could be dead." Mac said.

The brothers looked at each other with worried expressions but Mac was right they had no clue how much longer the barrier would hold or if more demons came for Leonardo. But more than that they still didn't know what the angels in Heaven wanted with Leonardo, Zac never answered their question just brought up new ones.

Mac and the brothers drank the whole night. Raph would take Mikey's can and exchange it with his own since Mikey was never a drinker and Raph was especially when they were younger and still hung out with April and Casey. Mac told them as they fell asleep she called her apprentice and she was coming in first thing in the morning with her brother to help train them and Leonardo.
