"Did you give Violet $20,000?"

"Yes."

"For what?"

"A vacation."

"Livvy, we need to talk before you give away that much money."

"We are not broke."

"That's not the point. Where is she going, Buckingham Palace?"

"She doesn't want Aira."

"You're buying her baby?"

"No, I'm paying for her vacations."

"I think you need some time away from Aira."

"I'm not leaving my baby."

"Violet's baby."

"She's mine Fitz."

"You are too attached. You need a break."

"I'm not leaving Aira."

"We're giving her back when Violet wants her baby."

"She has six months to make a decision."

"You can't expect her to make a permanent decision so fast. She's still grieving. I think we should give her a few years to make up her mind. We already have temporary guardianship. That's good enough for now."

"No."

"You are using Aira to make up for what you lost with Violet. That's why you wanted another baby. Our baby died and Violet has her own baby. You don't get to redo motherhood with Violet's baby. I know you're hurting, but you have to face reality Olivia. We have temporary guardianship, and it will stay that way until Violet says otherwise."

"Don't fight me on this Fitz. You will lose."

"You think so?"

"I've been her primary caretaker since she was two days old. Her mother is at home packing for an international vacation. Violet has not given me one dollar towards Aira. She barely visits or calls. I can become her permanent guardian now if I want too."

"You wouldn't do that."

"Not today I won't. I will do what's best for Aira in six months."

"Olivia."

"I will not let you or anyone else hurt Aira. If Violet wants her back, she needs to show some serious improvement in the next few months. She's not jet setting around the world with my baby."

"Olivia."

"End of discussion Fitz."
