Welcome back for another chapter of, Digimon: Digital Aftermath :D ENJOY!

Max eyed her surroundings as she was taken through the hallways of the Dark Palace. It was quite grand, but still too small to fit Dagomon inside. When they had first arrived to the palace Dagomon had handed her off to another digimon. Vilemon.

Vilemon was small for a champion digimon, but a real bad guy. He looked like a mutated bat demon with a messy orange mohawk going from his head down its neck. His mouth gaped open to show off a handful of sharp teeth to intimidate its enemies.

He placed metal cuffs around Max's wrists, then lead her through the hallways with a bulky chain. He mentioned something about bringing her to "his master".

Finally, they entered through a grand doorway where a dark throne was placed, and in that throne, sat a man. Max glared at him, and her nose and mouth twitched as if she wanted to snarl at him. As she was drawn closer she could finally make out his features.

He had long black hair, and his skin was as pale as snow. He had a long type of face and his eyes were so dark brown, they almost looked black like Izzy's. He was wearing a long black trench coat along with tall black gothic combat boots. He stood as they stopped in front of them. His face twisted in annoyance.

"This is not the boy I asked for! Who is this?!" He demanded answers from the cowering Vilemon.

Vilemon sounded like Igor when he spoke. "Master, I am sorry. Please, she is one too. Promise. She traded herself."

The tall man looked down from his throne at the long haired woman. "Why did you trade yourself?"

A bright white light surrounded Max, the light giving off some sparks, making the man shield his eyes.

"GUARDS!" He yelled, thinking he was about to be attacked or ambushed. But once the light had died away, he slowly put his arm down, and was face to face with a red eyed beast.

He took a step back at first, his eyes wide in astonishment. Dobermon snorted at him, and then he slowly smirked.

"You are the original Halfling. Yes, you will do perfectly." His voice reminded her of a sly snake, and she couldn't help but growl at him.

The guards who had shown up immediately placed cuffs on all of Dobermon's legs. She looked down at them growling, but stopped when she heard a loud metal to metal clank. She looked down and noticed the man had put a chain leash on her pointed collar. He grinned at her mischievously.

"My name is Huimaki, and you are going to help me become the most powerful human, alive!" He let out an evil laugh, and Dobermon growled quietly

"Oh, do not worry my pet. I will not be killing you. You are too valuable to me. You see," Huimaki tugged Dobermon along to follow him. "With your blood, your DNA, I will try to mix it with mine, and become the most powerful human and digimon alive." He then laughed. "I would say you would be a problem, but I plan on draining all of your power out of you as well, and giving it to myself. Then you will be nothing more than just a human...once again."

Dobermon stopped in her tracks at his words. She had been this way for so long, she couldn't imagine being just a normal human again. She didn't want to be.

Huimaki faced her with an evil smirk then said, "What is wrong, my pet? Would you rather switch back with the boy? Your son?"

Dobermon snarled, her eyes narrowing into a deathly glare at the ugly man. "You will not touch, my son." She snapped inches from Huimaki's face, making his eyes grow. She only missed him because his guards held her back with her leg restraints.

Huimaki glared at Dobermon. "You will learn who is in charge here."

Dobermon then let out a yelp as she was electrocuted. She fell to the ground.

Just a short chapter to show you what is going on with Max/Dobermon.

So who the heck is this Huimaki guy?! Seems like bad news to me, I hope Dobermon can get away from him, if not who knows what will happen? You will, once you come back for another chapter of,

Digimon: Digital Aftermath!
