To start off, I think some of you misunderstand ther point of the 'reviews' option. It's to actually tell me what you think of my writing. Not say "Please Update." Every time I post a new chapter. Also, thanks for over 2,000 views in two days!

After Ezra met back up with Hera and had made his greetings with her, and it wasn't long until they were back to the Rebel fleet. They all wanted a moment of peace. All the months Ezra had been gone had been hard on all of them. They felt like a huge gap in their family was missing. 'Family.' Losing Kanan was bad enough, but then Ezra. It was like they had lost their identity. For now, they just wanted to reconnect. Try and get that feeling of security back.

Ahsoka opened comms, "This is Ahsoka Tano, rebel commander. Open up the hanger for us would you?" A couple seconds passed.

"Hanger doors opening commander. Glad to have you back." A rebel officer spoke over the comms.

The group exchanged a few smiles, knowing they were back home. Hera had taken control of the ship and flown them into the hanger. She found an open space, and set the ship down.

"Well we made it." Hera said, taking a breath out as she released the controls.

The group cleared out of the shuttle. "You might wanna change out of that pretty quickly. Don't know how many people here wanna see you in that." Ahsoka said to Ezra, referring to his Stormtrooper outfit.

He looked down at himself, then back up to Ahsoka, "What? I think I look good in white." He said jokingly.

Ahsoka rolled her eyes and smiled, walking off the ship.

Sabine walked up next to him, "Actually, I think black would look the best on you." Playfully teasing him, then making her own way off the ship and into the hanger. Ezra followed.

Ezra noticed an officer approach Ahsoka and start discussing something with her soon after exiting the ship. Of course, he didn't think much of it. He started walking to the Ghost, where he planned to change clothes.

Before he walked into the Ghost, he looked back to see both Ahsoka and Hera with the rebel officer walking out of the hanger.

Zeb, who was walking into the Ghost behind Ezra, turned around to see the scene.

"I wonder what that's about." Zeb questioned. Ezra quickly turned around to continue walking, "Doesn't involve me." He said waving his hand. Zeb shrugged his shoulders, and followed Ezra.

Ezra went to his previously shared room with Zeb and took off his stolen Stormtrooper armor.

His upper body was bare. He looked into the mirror of his room, examining his body. The only that was consistent with his body, were the scars. There were many. Most were just small, deep cuts that had remained, while some contained a brutal story behind them. Ezra tried just covering them up to forget about them. They didn't hurt anymore, so why should they matter?

He changed into his now regular Brown jumpsuit pants, with a long dark green shirt, under a loose, darkened tan short sleeve jacket.

Zeb walked in after he had finished changing.

"You're not gonna wash up before you change?" Zeb asked curiously. "Why would I? I smell fine." Ezra retorted back.

Zeb stared at him, before walking over to his own bunk, "Whatever, just get out of here. You might not care what you smell like, but I do. I'm taking a shower." Zeb said pushing him out of the room. Ezra stood there, unsure of what to do.

He turned to walk away. 'Maybe I can rest in the nose gunner' he thought to himself. It was a seat, which was all he needed. He continued his walk to the front of the Ghost.

"Where are you going?" he heard Sabine ask from behind him. He turned around to see her leaning on the frame of the door of her own room.

He smiled, "I uh, was looking for a place to rest. I was gonna just use the nose gunner seat. Zeb kinda just kicked me out of my room, so…yea." He said rubbing the back of his neck.

She stared at him, trying to understand what he just said, "You're going to the nose gunner to get some rest? Not a bed?"

He then realized how stupid he must have sounded. Sabine rolled her eyes, then motioned for him to come with her. He followed her into the room. He examined the paintings he had seen what seemed like a hundred times. The bright colors, and only a few spots remained untouched.

"You can rest in my bed. It's better than some metal seat." She said, taking off her armor.

"Thanks. But what about you?" he asked. "I was going to shower and clean up." She answered.

He nodded, then took a seat on the side of her bed. She had removed all of her armor leaving only the clothes she wore under it.

"Get some rest. Seriously, you need it." The door of the washroom closed behind her. He paused, before he finally laid back on the bed.

He heard the running of the water. It soothed him. It was calming. He didn't get under the covers. It wasn't his bed, so he didn't feel comfortable doing that. He turned on his side, and in doing that caused a pain in his body. He was sore. His muscles were trying to recover from the physical stress they had been through the past few hours.

His body was nearly completely drained of energy at this point, which made it easier to find sleep.

Many minutes had passed, but Ezra had already fell asleep. Sabine however, had already finished her shower. She was now just drying off and putting her clothes on. Her hair was slightly wet, which she was fine with.

The bathroom door opened and released the steam from the hot water that was used. She walked over to the bed and examined Ezra. He mustn't have been that deep into his sleep, because he turned back over to face her.

He rubbed his eyes, "So, you're done?" he asked.

"Yea." She told him.

He leaned up, ready to make an attempt to get up.

"Where are you going?" she asked. He looked up at her, "Well I thought since you were done, you wanted your bed back."

"Yea I do." She said, sitting and laying on the bed next to him. "But I want you still in it." she smiled.

He smiled and locked his eyes with hers. It seemed like an eternity. They slowly leaned in, closed their eyes and their lips met. They had kissed before, but this felt different. For both of them. It was passionate. It was calm, and a subtle action. How their minds almost read each other's. She slowly moved up, keeping the kiss intact, and put herself on top of him. He was sitting back on the bed, with Sabine sitting on his lap, continuing their session.

Ezra felt lost. He had never done something like he thought they were about to.

To their luck, an alert had caught their attention. Ezra's wrist-com was beeping. They stopped, and slowly pulled away. Their eyes still locked, until Sabine quickly blinked a few times, trying to come to terms with what had just occurred. What had almost occurred.

"I…I need to get that." Ezra said, trying to be as casual as he could be.

Sabine, still on top of his waist, looked at his wrist comm. She rolled her eyes, and climbed down onto the bed.

He clicked the com-link, "This is Ezra."

"Ezra, I need you in the bridge as soon as you can get here. I need to have a talk with you." It was Hera, She sounded calm, but tense at the same time.

"Alright...I'll be there soon."

He must've hesitated, sounded strange, or different. Hera asked him, "Are you okay Ezra?"

He looked to Sabine and she gave him a cold stare with crossed arms, "I was just, doing something." He answered.

"I'm on my way." He said ending the conversation quickly before Hera could ask any more questions.

Ezra looked back over to Sabine, "I have to go." He tried to ease the tension. "I'm going up there with you. I wanna see what the big deal is." She protested.

He smiled, happy knowing she would be with him, even if is just a small walk.

On the Bridge:

Hera and Ahsoka had been conversing with the highest ranking Generals and Admirals in the fleet since they had returned. It had become a serious and nearly heated meeting. They were discussing the fate and future of Ezra.

"I've already given my answer. I say yes." Hera told a general.

"He's but a boy. He can't be trusted with that responsibility." The general answered.

"Then why do you request my opinion?" Hera retorted.

"I don't. He does." He said back, referring to Ackbar.

"Even if he isn't ready, he's close to be. He will become a powerful Jedi over time. He can become an even better leader. He led and took control of the rescue mission. He saved all of our lives." Ahsoka entered.

"I know he's a Jedi, but…"The same general stopped. "Is he ready for the rank of General? Can he lead a battalion into battle, knowing some of his troops won't be coming back with him?!"

The room was silent, no one knowing the answer.

Admiral Ackbar took a loud, deep breath in. "I've fought next to Jedi during The Clone Wars. They were Generals during that time. Yes, they were powerful and superb warriors, but the way they inspired the troops around them was incredible. Having a Jedi lead a squad of soldiers into battle, vastly outnumbered. The one Jedi would make him and his men of few feel like thousands."

Everyone in the bridge listened to the wise story of Ackbar. "I'm not saying he's ready, but the Rebellion is in need of leaders. What better symbol of hope than two Jedi Generals leading the charge against the Empire?" he questioned.

"In the end I feel I have the experience and authority to make this decision. I wanted your opinions and I feel after almost a full hour of conversing, I have majority on my side." Ackbar scanned the faces of the room, trying to find an objection.

The sound of the sliding doors alerted all of them. Ezra walked in, followed by Sabine. They stopped when all eyes had locked on them.

Ackbar noticed his nervousness, "Ezra. Come here my boy." He tried saying in a friendly and calming tone.

Ezra looked at Sabine, and Sabine looked at him. She gave him that moment of reassurance which he needed. He continued his slow pace to the meeting table, at which the generals and admirals were. He spotted Hera standing next to Ahsoka, and both of them gave him a worried look.

"Have I done something wrong?" He asked.

"Oh no, quite the opposite." Ackbar said, trying to calm the nerves of the boy.

Silence filled the room, no one dared make a sound. "Do you know what the Jedi Knights were during the Clone Wars?" Admiral Ackbar asked.

"They were warriors. They led clones into battle against the Separatists. Right?" Ezra answered, somewhat unsure of his own answer. He had never had a full education of The Clone Wars and the Jedi during that time.

Ackbar looked straight at him, "Yes. They were Generals. Leading hundreds of thousands of Clone Troopers into battle."

"The greatest ones were on the front lines, with their fellow soldiers." Ahsoka entered.

Ezra was still confused of his purpose here. "Am I here for a history lesson?"

Ackbar had decided against trying to code his speech. "Ezra, Ahsoka has been appointed to General. But we need more true leaders in the rebellion. You have shown great strength and leadership on the last mission."

Ezra figured it out. So had Sabine. Her mouth opened slightly, trying to hold back a gasp of surprise.

"Ezra, we believe you have earned the right to command troops, like the Jedi before you. To become a General." Ackbar finished. Ezra's face was frozen. Everyone began a small talk and whispers. Ezra thought to himself. 'Why do they want me to lead? As a General!?'

"Two Jedi Generals leading the fight against the Empire. Imagine it!" Ackbar continued.

Everyone's small talk had turned into loud chatter. It had almost become hard to hear, but they heard Ezra's answer clear as ever.

"No."

The room was silent once again.

"I...I...can't." He responded again.

He slowly turned around for the door walking back like the conversation had never occurred. Everyone stood in confusion. 'Why would he do that?' Ahsoka thought.

"Ezra!" Sabine called to him. She quickly moved towards him. He had already made it out of the room.

In the room, an admiral spoke up, "He's an eighteen year old kid. What'd you expect?"

"That kid has been through more than you probably ever have. He's trying to find his own place in the galaxy just like so many other people in the galaxy are." Hera spat back.

The Admiral looked at her and backed down, realizing the nature of his outspoken comment.

Outside, Sabine ran to catch up to Ezra. "Ezra what are you doing?" Sabine asked running to him. "I can't do that. I don't trust myself enough. People would depend on me with their lives."

"Ezra, it's bigger than that. Didn't you listen to him? You'd be a symbol of hope for some of these people. And not just these soldiers, but people across the galaxy." She cupped a hand around his cheek, and he cusped her hand with his, "I don't know everything about Jedi and Sith, Dark side and Light, but I do know people need you."

Ahsoka had now exited the bridge to find Ezra, only to see him a few feet out of the door.

"I can't make this decision for you, but you know where I stand." Sabine removed her hand from his and placed it at her side.

Ahsoka walked up to him, "Listen Ezra, I know this might seem too big for you, but Sabine is right. People need you."

Ezra looked up at her, "How do they expect me to be a general, a leader, when I haven't even finished my own training as a Jedi. I'm not even a Jedi Knight yet.

Ahsoka and Sabine looked at each other, the back at Ezra with a confused look. "I thought that was the whole purpose of leaving? To finish your training on that planet you ran off to. It certainly looked like you did." Sabine finished, crossing her arms.

"I did complete most of my training, but the Jedi master that trained me was very…cryptic." Ezra said scratching the back of his neck, trying not to make eye contact with them.

Ahsoka walked close to Ezra, "I think I know what you mean." She said smiling, placing a hand on his shoulder for reassurance. He looked back to her, "He said something about 'my last trial'".

"Don't worry, we can figure it all out." Ahsoka told him. He still seemed like he was unsure. "I will teach you everything I know and have learned about commanding troops. This will help the Rebellion so much if you do this. Please?" Ahsoka finished.

Ezra heard the desperation in her voice. He had never heard Ahsoka like this. His friends needed him. He realized that this was bigger than his own needs. Ezra nodded slowly, "Ok. I'll do it."

Ahsoka gave a weak grin, leading him and Sabine back into the Bridge. The doors opened and Ezra met all the glairs of the officers. Relief fell upon Ackbar.

"Have you reconsidered the offer?" He asked. Ezra walked up to the grouped meeting, and nodded his head, showing his answer.

Ezra looked around, and he met eyes with some of the high ranking officials. Some were smiling, some were not. He knew he would have to prove himself to some of them, but either way, he felt confident and ready for whatever was ahead.

Later, back in the Ghost:

Sabine, Hera, and Ezra were back in the ghost, and were quickly met by Zeb at their entrance, "Where have you been? I couldn't even raise ya on comms!?" Zeb questioned urgently.

"Don't worry Zeb, we just had some business to attend to." Hera calmly explained.

"I probably would've told you about it and let you tag along, if you hadn't have kicked me out of my own room." Ezra said jokingly.

"Literally, kicked you out." Zeb didn't regret a second of it. The crew resumed a laugh together and a small conversation, before breaking up to their own rooms for their much needed sleep.

Ezra and Zeb were at their own room, but instead of walking in, Ezra paused at the door. Zeb didn't notice until he was already in his bunk. Ezra, stopped and examined the hallway. "Hey Zeb, I'm gonna go check on something. Don't wait up for me."

Zeb had already turned himself over in hi bed, "Didn't plan on it."

Ezra walked down the hall to his goal. Sabine's room. He took a deep breath in before he raise his hand for a knock. Just as he tried to, the doo slid open. Sabine leaned on the open door and grinned.

Ezra paused, giving a confused face. "How did you know I was here?" he asked. "You're not exactly the quietest person ever." She smiled.

"Well...I came to ask if…maybe…if you don't care…we could sleep together tonight?" Ezra quickly pushed out the latter part of the sentence.

Sabine's eyes widened, for she was surprised by the question. But, she wasn't opposed to it. Sabine motioned him in. He took off his boots, his jacket, and heavy long pants. All that was left was his undershirt and his boxer shorts. Sabine had already removed her armor and was preparing to remover her under shirts.

Ezra climbed into her bed first, then Sabine on the opposite side. They were quiet at first. They both truly needed sleep and they were about to get it. He leaned on his side, facing away from her. She spooned up to his back, and wrapped her hand around his stomach.

Moments passed, yet neither had fallen asleep. "It's hot in here to me. What about you?" Ezra asked leaning up, almost starting to sweat. She looked up to him, "Then take of your shirt. That would help." She smirked.

Ezra thought against it, and it definitely wasn't because he didn't want her to see him almost naked. Unbeknownst to her, he had acquired a few new 'scars' while training on Dagobah. He didn't exactly want her to notice them. But maybe she wouldn't notice them, and it was getting hotter to him by the second. The reward outweighed the reward.

He quickly removed his shirt, trying not to allow time for her to notice them. Ezra threw his shirt off to the side and pulled the covers over him to cover his back.

A few seconds passed, and he thought he was in the clear. He was far from it.

"Ezra…" Sabine's voice trailed off. He waited for more. He felt her hands slightly pull the covers down and her hands began to examine his back. She was reacting exactly how he thought she would.

"What is it?" Ezra tried to play dumb. She began tracing a few of the scars with her careful fingers. "Is this from your training?" she asked.

Ezra gave up the act. "Well, the bad ones are. Some are from living eight years on the street." Sabine had forgot that he was alone for so long at such a young age.

"Most of the ones I got on Lothal were from when I got caught stealing. After about eleven I never really got caught anymore. If I did, they would've probably done worse."

He tried to lighten the mood, "Hey, they look good though right?" Sabine stayed silent. She kept feeling the scars, tracing them again and again. She pulled him closer to her, her hands around his stomach. "Wherever you go and run off to next, you better believe I'll be right there with you."

Ezra smiled, "I wouldn't want it any other way."

Alright guys, I realized that my chapters are getting a little "short" compared to other stories, so I decided to make this one a little longer than usual. I'm also really trying to get in as much Sabezra I can into my story right now so if it feels kinda 'rushed in', I wouldn't be surprised. I tried to make it where it felt like it belonged, but I couldn't help but worry a lil bit.
