Freak Holding Facility

The Factory

The machinery clanged loudly in the massive facility, the hissing of pistons and grinding of gears forming an orchestra of industry. Inside the largest Mann Co. building built, the Factory housed many cybernetic and animatronic Freaks, dangerous and harmless alike. Each robot or cyborg in the Factory had its own part to play in the facility, doing several menial or important tasks, such a maintenance or peacekeeping. As the Administrator put it, the Factory was a well-run contraption, and the Freaks the cogs.

With news of Doppelganger's escape, several Freaks were high on edge, traveling in groups to their stations or remaining in their homes, hoping to avoid encounter with the copycat Freak. The peacekeeper Freaks themselves put out a high-level patrol in search of the dangerous Freak, armed and vigilant. One such group was led by the leader of the Factory Peacekeepers himself, the mighty Soldier Freak-bot, Soldine. His appearance matched that of a RED Soldier, but metal plating covered his attire, his features ridged and stiff, and a tone of automation emanated off his steel body. Following behind him were two other Freaks, Pyrogun, a robotic RED Pyro with sentry implants, and Scombine, a RED Scout robot with mechanical ears, an arm mounted gun, and a square jaw.

The Freaks wandered about the mechanical interior of the building, scanning for any white-suited Spy Freaks. The sound of soft footsteps echoed around them, as Soldine raised a hand to signal his allies to halt.

"What, did ya find anything?" Pyrogun asked in a nasally robotic voice, raising his arm mounted minigun.

"Sensors detect movement." Soldine droned, his voice deep and robotic. "Prepare to engage." The two other Robot Freaks nodded, raising their own weapons. Soldine lead them down an empty hallway, their interior radars indeed picking up movement. They stopped before a small alley, guns raised and prepared to fight. With a swift leap, the three robots jumped out and fired their guns down the alley. A panicked voice rang up as the bullets and compressed energy blasts shot across the small area, sending him flying forward. Soldine looked down at the quivering being before him, and letting out a sigh when he recognized the Freak on the ground.

"False alarm." Soldine said. "Designate Freak "Magic Mann" stands before us." The aforementioned RED Scout Freak stood up, dusting off his shirt and straightening his ankh necklace.

"Next time, warn someone before ya start shooting down a hallway!" Magic Mann snarled, glaring at the robotic Soldier. Scombine walked up to his Magic Freak counterpart, scanning him with robotic eyes.

"What brings ya here, Magic Mann?" Scombine asked, his normal Scout voice amplified by electric sound waves. "Shouldn't ya be at Insanity, USA?"

"A little Demo-birdy told me that Doppelganger broke loose," Magic Mann explained, reclining midair. "And after what that smug copycat did to me, I joined a posse to take him down. From what I gathered, Doppelganger attacked Cryo and stole his icy powers, and now he's going after a Robo-Freak."

"So he is here, that ain't good." Pyrogun sighed. "Who else is with ya? We don't see much of you fleshy Freaks 'round here."

"It's just me, Medizard, Major Scout Guy, and Christian Brutal Sniper." A series of footsteps echoed down the hall. "Speak of the devils, here they are." Major Scout Guy, Medizard, and Christian Brutal emerged from down the hall, exhausted from a long run.

"Still no sign of him." Medizard said. "This place is far too huge to find him anywhere." Major looked up, dropping into a salute before Soldine, the cyborg Freak returning the favor.

"Greetings, Major Scout Guy." Soldine droned.

"Same to you, Soldine." Major replied. "I take it you're also on the hunt for Doppelganger?"

"Affirmative. He will not steal another Freak's powers on my watch." Soldine snarled, clenching his fist.

"Yeah, I remember him copying you." Magic Mann said, conjuring a soda from nowhere. "Afterwards he went after me."

"Who else is searching for him?" Major asked.

"Cyborneer and his crew are lookin' for him to the south, left Cybor Heavy at their compound," Scombine said. "And the Soldier Drones are spread out."

"Cybor Spy's goons?" Christian Brutal asked. "He's actually being helpful?"

"You know what happened after Doppelganger attacked Cyborneer and Cyborheavy, he got Australium powers!" Pyrogun exclaimed. "With Major's gun, Medizard's icy powers, Ninjineer's skills, Soldine's machinery, Magic Mann's magic, and Australium infused powers, he was almost as dangerous as the Amalgamation! Cybor Spy knows how bad Doppelganger can get, so he's making sure he doesn't become a target."

"Well, so far he's attacked Cryo," Major said. "Which gives him ice powers like Medizard, but not as high caliber."

"Thank winter's frost for that." Medizard muttered.

"So most-likely he's going after someone with robot abilities," Major said. "Is there anyone he might go after?"

"All the Robo-Freaks are either holed up or on the move." Scombine said. "Except Necroborg, but he's in stasis after trying to take down Dr. Schadenfreude again. Last I heard, he was stuck inside one of a block of ice near the town center." Soldine's eyes lit up, knowing how dangerous his dreaded Vagineer nemesis was, and pounded his fist into an open hand.

"Let's move and secure the location before Doppelganger does." Major clarified. Everyone gave confirming nods and ran down the hallway towards the center of the Factory. Meanwhile, a RED Engineer Robot Freak with a metal helmet, red eyes, and a robotic hand peered his head from behind a corner.

"Soldine and Major Scout Guy's groups are going after the Necroborg Vagineer to stop Doppelganger?" Robot Engie said aloud. "Ah better follow them, and swoop in to take the credit. Captain Demo will be so proud!"

Dr. Schadenfreude's (Not So) Secret Factory Lab

On the far west of the Factory's walls, there rests a simple toolshed. Inside the toolshed, there is a trap door underneath a table. Hiding behind the trap door is the secret laboratory of the nefarious Freak Medic, Dr. Schadenfreude. Or it would be a secret if he didn't decide to write Schadenfreude's Secret Lab (Do Not Enter) on a sign on the front door of the shed. Despite the glaring obviousness of a secret lair, many Freaks wouldn't dare go near the lair of the telekinetic Medic Freak and his devious cronies. Inside, experiments and tests ran constantly as the Doctor worked on creating and destroying anything, but today, he was working on something else.

At the very center of his lab, there sat a gigantic computer. Built at the behest of Nightmare Medic for a very special purpose, Dr. Schadenfreude worked on and off at the machine to create something special to further his plans. Sure, he was missing a few key components, but they could be covered easily. The grey suited doctor smiled at his work, waiting for the final piece to arrive, the delivery.

"You don't have to sneak in, you know." Dr. Schadenfreude said. "I get you're a Spy Freak, but still. It is improper business, Herr Ninja." From behind the mentally advanced Freak, emerging from the shadows was a completely black spy. Unlike the usual red or blue suits and balaclava masks of regular Spies, this was adorned in a black suit, black mask, and black shades. A pair of scimitars rested at his hips and a Diamondback revolver sat in a holster. Ninja Spy smirked, removing his sunglasses and walking towards the grey Medic Freak.

"I'm surprised a sociopath like yourself knows something about business etiquette, Schadenfreude." Ninja Spy said.

"I need to behave at least somewhat properly before making my deals to the rest of the Freak underworld." Schadenfreude said. "But still, I'm glad you've come."

"It wasn't easy getting here." Ninja Spy admitted. "Ever since Doppelganger broke loose, security's been tightened between checkpoints, and several Freaks are on patrol."

"Ja, I know about Herr Doppelganger's escape," Schadenfreude said. "Cryo was the first Freak he attacked. He respawned here in my lab naught but two hours ago." He turned to the black Spy with a blank face. "And I do believe I may know who is responsible for his escape." Ninja Spy quirked an eyebrow, but shook off the thought before he forgot the reason he came here.

"Enough of that, I'm here for the job you hired me for." Ninja Spy stated. Dr. Schadenfreude rolled his eyes before tapping several buttons onto his computer. After a series of beeps and flashing lights, Dr. Schadenfreude pulled out a small disc from the drive. With a wicked grin, Schadenfreude put the disc in a small sleeve and handed it to Ninja Spy.

"Use the current chaos of Doppelganger to get to the Eye in the Sky." Schadenfreude ordered. "Upload this disc into the main Freak Database Computer. Do this without being seen or killing anyone." Ninja Spy frowned, looking at the disc and pondering his simple task.

"And my payment?" The Freak Doctor smirked again, walking over to a nearby desk and retrieving a black briefcase. Slowly, he undid the latches on the case, and revealed the beautiful prize. Inside were eight solid bars of a glowing golden ore, said to grant the meek incredible strength, the dim pure genius, and make the ugly fabulous. Australium.

"This is only half." Schadenfreude said, thrusting the case into Ninja Spy's arms, the Spy Freak gawking in awe at the reward. "You'll be paid in full after the job is done." With a mischievous grin, Ninja Spy closed the briefcase and proceeded towards the exit. However, he found himself halted in place as an unknown force held him still. "And if you so much as think of double-crossing me," With a whirl about, Ninja Spy was telekinetically thrust towards Dr. Schadenfreude, an angry glare plastered on his face. "I will make you wish you died in that car crash." With a gulp and reassuring nod, Ninja Spy was released from Dr. Schadenfreude's grasp and made his way on the outside of the base.

As Ninja Spy exited the faux shed, he raised a walkie-talkie, and turned it on.

"Come in Ninja Heavy," Ninja Spy said, glancing at the disc in his front pocket. "Prepare my car outside the Factory Checkpoint. We've got work to do."

The Cybor Compound

Just about a mile west of the main entrance to the Factory, there sits a large cubic building sporting orange patterns across its walls. This just so happens to be the central hub of the Cybor Freaks, genetically enhanced Freaks turned cyborgs and Australium hunters of the Facilities. Inside sat CyborHeavy, a large black and orange Cyborg Heavy Freak, wearing a black and orange outfit and having a large cybernetic left arm. Whilst the other Cybor Freaks went about searching for Doppelganger, he was stuck watching the base, making sure nobody stole the Australium in the vaults. He grunted to himself, crossing his arms.

"Is stupid." CyborHeavy grunted. "Everyone else goes out to fight Copycat Spy, while Heavy is stuck here, watching Engineer's shiny Australium." He stood from his place and began pacing about the room. "Heavy fought Doppelganger too! Heavy deserves chance at revenge. Heavy wants to fight!"

"And fight you shall." Said an eerily familiar voice. CyborHeavy quickly whirled about, only to be greeted with an icy ball shattering against his face. Stumbling backwards from the random attack, CyborHeavy looked up and snarled at the foe before him. He was a Spy in a white suit with a light blue balaclava revealing a sinister sneer. His raised hand had snowflakes lightly dancing round his fingers as he formed another icy orb.

"Doppelganger..." CyborHeavy growled.

"CyborHeavy," Doppelganger said. "Nice to see one of my punching bags again. Oh, and it looks like you're mechanic isn't here." A wicked smile formed as the ice ball grew larger in his hand. "Then this will only end quicker." Cybor Heavy smashed his fists and loudly laughed.

"You had a total of six different powers when we last fought!" CyborHeavy proclaimed. "You only have one! You shall be defeated easily." Now it was Doppelganger's turn to laugh.

"Oh, ye of little brain power. You don't know everything you hear." Doppelganger raised his other hand, and watched as CyborHeavy's eyes widened as it burst into flame. "I got a little something special from the one who freed me." With a loud roar, Doppelganger shot two blasts of fire and ice from his hands while the cyborg Heavy Freak could only look on in horror.

Freak-Lopedia: Soldine

Soldine is a RED Robotic Soldier Freak, created by Youtuber SarisKhan. Soldine was once a normal soldier, until his unit was attacked by the Mastermind (soon to be Necroborg) Vagineer, leaving him nearly for dead. However, with several enhancements and implants, he was revived and turned into the killing machine that is Soldine. Soldine then became a member of HECU, the Freak group dedicated to taking down dangerous enemies, and partnered up alongside Orangeman, a special Demoman officer, constantly battling with the Necroborg Vagineer and his arch-rival Handsome Rogue. Soldine is a super powerful robot, an entirely metal body giving him tremendous strength and resilience. Equipped with an arm mounted Black-Box rocket launcher and machine gun, Soldine dominates large crowds of opponents from a distance, and is capable of activating a power boost to gain strength. However, his metallic body makes him slow and can be defeated by more powerful foes.

Scombine

Scombine is a RED Robotic Scout Freak, created by Youtuber Scoutillite. Scombine was once a normal RED Scout, before an accident left him nearly paralyzed. He was saved by Heavy Trains Guy and turned into the cyborg we all know him as. He now roams about exterminating Monster Freaks, but occasionally losing control and becoming a monster himself. Scombine is equipped with an arm mounted laser gun (as well as other concealed guns), and has incredible speed to overwhelm opponents. However, he is prone to attacking any hostile Freak (as his programing says) and will be easily defeated by foes more powerful than him.

Pyrogun

Pyrogun is a RED Robotic Pyro Freak, created by Youtuber OluapPlayer. Pyrogun is a robot made from sentry parts and stuffed into a Pyro suit that suffers from glitches, both physical and personality-wise. His quirky behavior tends to cause him to be more worried about unimportant things (like spare ammo clips) and reluctant to do various tasks. Pyrogun is equipped with an arm-mounted machine gun and a four-shot rocket launcher strapped to his shoulder, as well as flame throwers and even a gun that launched sappers to destroy electronic buildings. He is, however, very cocky and sometimes stupid, allowing him to be overpowered in combat.

Dr. Schadenfreude

Dr. Schadenfreude is a GRY Medic Freak, created by Youtuber SarisKhan. Dr. Schadenfreude is a master psychic, capable of multiple forms of mind powers, including telepathy, telekinesis, and illusions, as well as a certified mad genius. Leading over a group of experiments, as well as Cryo, the ice-powered Pyro Freak, he treats all the people around him as if they were science experiments. A sadist to the extreme, as well as a scientific mastermind, he is a feared and hated Freak amongst Freaks, especially if you have a brain he'd like to pick.

Ninja Spy

Ninja Spy is a BLK Spy Freak, created by Youtuber Dr. Face. Ninja Spy is a well known Freak mercenary and assassin, taking on jobs and robbing the many people whom he crosses. A master of subterfuge and assault, Ninja Spy has been known about the Freak lands as a criminal, working alongside his less-than intelligent subordinate, Ninja Heavy. He wields a pair of scimitars and a Diamondback revolver, as well as several grenades and a Dead Ringer Cloaking device.

CyborHeavy

CyborHeavy is a BLK Heavy Cyborg Freak, created by Youtuber ShermanZAtank. Once a normal Heavy, he was injured in an attempt to save Cyborneer from the dread CyborSpy. Cyborneer then graciously gave him a super-powered mechanical arm, in which the newly born CyborHeavy became a guardian to the Australium guardian, helping acquire the super ore and keep it out of the hands of evil. CyborHeavy's mechanical arm grants him incredible strength, as well as Australium absorption to gain enhanced powers. He is, however, defenseless at a distance and can be overpowered by ranged fighters and much more powerful Freaks.
