REGARDING PROJECT FREAK AND OLD IDA PROJECTS
Hello everyone, it's me, Mal Masque. Surprised to see me after so long? I know, it's been ages since anything has gone up here, especially when talking about Project FREAK, but the repeated messages I get on other stories by Guest Reviews and others has pushed me to make this. As I have stated this before, but others don't seem to get the memo, but here it goes again:
All stories previously affiliated with the IDA Writer's Guild, including Pimpin' Peace & Perversion, IDA Ultimate Tournament, and Project FREAK, are effectively cancelled and discontinued.
This is due to the combined issues of lack of creative input on any of the stories, the loss of interest from numerous readers over the course of the lengthy hiatus, the dissolving of the IDA Writer's Guild in its entirety nearly three years ago, and just a general lack of desire to continue those stories. If I attempted to push myself to write more for any of those stories, the results would end up flat, bland, and uninteresting. Which would you enjoy more: a half-assed update to a once good story or a new story with effort and care put into it? I apologize for the continuous silence on the matter, but this needed to be said after the repeat statements and requests. For now, many of my own current works are on hiatus, due to scheduling conflicts, personal issues, and other grievances.
New updates for Shining Stars and The World that Could Have Been are on their way at a very slow pace, as well as a new project in the works simply titled "Crossroads". For anyone who has patiently waited for an update to this story, I am sorry, but this is the last that will be seen of Project FREAK for the time being, but I thank you for your continuous support. If you would like to support me further, I have moved on to fully-fledged commission writings. For further details, reach me via PMs. Once again, have a good day.
~Mal Masque
