Hey, everyone. It's been a little while, so I've decided to present another chapter for you all! Enjoy! (No, I don't own it! You can't prove anything, Nickelodeon!
It had been an especially grueling day of meetings for the thirteen-year-old Avatar, who was glad to finally be home.
Katara greeted him from the couch. "Hey," she said. "You must be exhausted. Come here…"
He walked slowly through the door and collapsed into his girlfriend's open arms. "I'm so glad I'm home…I hate these meetings…"
"I know you do," she said softly. She rubbed his back. "Oh, Aang, you're so tense…you poor thing…"
She stood up and started to remove his shirt, but he stopped her.
"Um…I-I'm kinda sweaty," he told her. "It's a little gross, I might smell."
"It's okay, Aang, you smell fine. I don't care about getting my hands a little sticky." She pulled off his shirt, revealing his fit, lean torso. She then returned to the couch, and they both lay on their sides, Katara behind Aang. She rubbed his back, trying to undo the knot in his muscle.
Aang grunted softly and blushed a soft hue of red at the intimate contact. "Unnh…hehe…that feels great, Katara…"
Katara giggled. "I'm glad…you deserve it, after such a hard day."
"Mmm…thank you so much…" Aang moaned. "That feels so much better…"
She kissed the side of his head and nuzzled it affectionately with her cheek. "You're welcome, sweetie. You work so hard…it's the least I can do for you." She stopped rubbing his back when the knot had faded away. She then flipped their positions so that she was lying on him, and they could snuggle up together. "You must hate these things…people work you so hard, people's think you're thirty, not thirteen."
"I know." He buried his face into the crook of her neck. " It's awful, and I miss you so much, every day." He nuzzled the crook of her neck lovingly.
Katara's heart swelled with sympathy and love. "Aww, Aang…you're so sweet," she told him, hugging him closer. No one should be working my Aang so hard like that, she thought. Sweet, adorable little Aang, doing the work of a man twice his age. He's just a kid; he doesn't deserve any of this!
"I'm gonna talk to Earth King Kuei for you," she promised him. "It isn't fair that you're gone, dawn to dusk…not paid a single copper piece, when you're so young. You do so much as it is. I'll make it easier for you, I promise, Aang."
Aang laughed. "Are you sure it isn't because you want me all to yourself?" He smiled. His signature, adorable smile.
"Oh, I guess that's part of the reason," she replied. "But who can blame me? You're irresistible, and you deserve to be told so, each and every day. You're such an amazing boy, Aang, you deserve the world, and I love everything about you."
He hugged her tighter, if that was even possible. He smiled from ear to ear and kissed her softly. No one had ever said something that nice to him before. And it was so effortless for Katara to say…Spirits, he loved that girl.
"Katara, you're amazing…I love you so, so much," Aang said, pecking her lips again. "Thank you…for being with me."
Katara rewarded him with a bit of healing water on his still-achy back and a deep, passionate kiss on the lips. "I love you, too."
"Guys, you know Sokka's gonna be home in a minute!" shouted a voice from elsewhere in the house. "And judging by your heartbeats, he'll be complaining about 'oogies' if you don't quit it!"
