Hi, everyone. Look, I have a couple requests that I haven't had time to get to lately, and I've just been swamped with a bunch of stuff, do I apologize to those who have requested something. I'm working on it. Anyway, I do happen to have a little something I wrote a while back, so I thought I'd share it with you as a belated Thanksgiving present. Oh, and Happy Hanukkah to those who celebrate it, also! (I own nothing, so don't bother.)
It was a sizzling hot day in the city of Ba Sing Se. It was so hot that Aang had decided to do without a shirt. Not that Katara minded, of course. After all, Aang was well-toned, especially for his young age.
Katara wasn't wearing much, either. She was wearing a thin shirt and a skirt that was not exactly of appropriate length for public attire. Not that Aang minded, of course.
The pair happened to be lying in the grass of their back lawn, watching the clouds.
"It's so hot…" Katara complained. "Why did I let you drag me out here?"
"Because you love me," Aang said in a sing-song voice.
"Oh, you think you're so cute, don't you?" she teased, smirking.
"Come on, you know you do," he said, pretending to pout.
"Oh, maybe just a little." She pulled him into a hug.
Aang eagerly accepted Katara's embrace, but he was a bit surprised when she pulled away so soon.
"Katara…?" He innocently looked up at her, confused.
"Aang, when did your muscles get so…firm?" Katara asked. Wait, what? That sounded odd. "I don't mean to sound weird, but…" She trailed off.
Aang blushed. "Umm…I don't know. Why?" He smiled bashfully.
"Well, I feel like the last time I hugged you, they were a little…softer, I don't know. Is it…just me?" She shrugged.
"Uh…I-I really don't…know," he said uncomfortably. "I mean, it's not like I'm some ripped buff guy, am I? Because then I'd look terrible, and—"
Katara giggled. "No, no, you're just really…fit, that's all."
"Um…thanks," Aang replied. He thought for a moment. "Hey, I think I know why you came out here with me."
"Oh, really?" She raised an eyebrow.
"I think you just wanted to see me with my shirt off." Aang was smirking now.
"That's not…true," Katara lied (and rather badly, at that). "I came out because…"
"…Because you just can't resist me," Aang teased. "I'm just that good-looking."
Katara smiled in amusement. Aang wasn't usually one to gloat, but he had good reason to now.
"Nah, you look awful," she said playfully. "The sight of you makes me want to hurl!"
Aang laughed. "Ouch, Katara. That stings." He then shocked her by violently smashing his lips against hers in a very heated kiss.
Katara's eyes widened at the sudden impact, in disbelief of Aang's aggressiveness, but she soon got with the program as the two proceeded to kiss each other senseless.
Aang pulled away from Katara's lips, paying more attention to the rest of her face with soft little butterfly kisses.
"Oh, Aang…" Katara breathed, caressing his left cheek as he continued to kiss her whole face.
"Love you…so much…" he said between kisses. "Forever and ever…"
"Aww…do you really mean that?" she asked, looking into his sparkling silver eyes.
"Of course," he replied. "I know I'm young, but…I've never been surer of anything in my life."
She hugged him again and kissed his cheek. "Oh, you're just too much, Aang. I don't know what I ever did to deserve someone as amazing as you."
""You deserve everything. You deserve the world." Sappy as it sounded, even to him, Aang was only being honest.
"Aw, guys, will you please cut it out with the oogies?! I want to go to the beach without hurling!"
"Oh, Sokka…" Katara sighed.
"The beach? All right!" Aang exclaimed.
"Oh, you're only excited because you want to see me in my bathing suit," she teased, "Because I'm 'just that good-looking.'" She smirked at him, awaiting his reaction to the shoe being placed on the other foot.
Surprisingly (to her, anyway), he conceded. "…Maybe," he said simply, walking inside.
Katara grinned triumphantly before following suit.
Well, you do have to admit, they were both 'just that good-looking,' am I wrong? (Not in a weird bisexual way or anything, just…um…yeah.)
