Hello, everyone! Guess what? We're almost at 100 reviews! Isn't that amazing? No? Well, I'll bet we can get there with this chapter. I think I did pretty well on this one. Enjoy! (And no, I own nothing.)
Well, to say the least, Toph was often made miserable by the antics of Aang and Katara. It was the most annoying thing to the blind Earthbending girl, that all the couple ever did was be all "mushy," as she often put it, around her.
Not that she wasn't happy for them, no, she couldn't be happier. But the next time she sensed Aang so much as grab Katara's hand, well…an earth pillar would greet him where the sun don't shine. That'd teach 'em.
Zuko was a bit confused around Aang and Katara every now and again. How exactly was it that they could stand being around each other constantly, and enjoy every waking second together? Zuko loved Mai dearly, but, quite honestly, all her negative energy would bring him to insanity after being with her for a couple hours on end.
Whatever. It didn't really bother him much. In fact , he admired Aang and Katara for their devotion to each other. Really, though, he didn't know any other thirteen-year-old who could kiss a girl like Aang could, spare in front of him!
"Aww…" Every time she saw Aang and Katara together, Suki couldn't help but smile widely. They were so cute! Aang was so sweet, and a total cuddle bug, and Katara was so loving and kind …Suki wished so much that she and Sokka could be a bit more like that.
Of course, the alternative would be that she date Aang and Katara date Sokka…
No. No, that would just be weird.
Sokka was simply glad that Aang was so innocent. The fact that they were around each other constantly worried him at first, but Katara was a big girl. She knew her boundaries. And, thankfully, Aang did too. The only reason that Sokka wasn't completely against their relationship was because Aang was the most trustworthy guy he knew. And they were kind of cute together…
Sokka smirked. He wouldn't be saying that in a few years, when Aang's hormones really caught up with him.
Ooh, gross. Now Sokka was giving himself oogies.
How Katara kept getting herself into situations like this, she'd never know. For the fourth straight morning, she had awoken to shared bed space and her right arm crushed under the weight of her slumbering boyfriend, who mumbled something incomprehensible, likely dreaming.
Despite the pain shooting up her arm, she smiled. It was amazing…he was amazing.
"Oh, Aang…" she cooed softly, nuzzling her cheek against his.
It had happened so fast. In just a single year, it had gone from her rescuing him from frozen stasis, to him filling her with a radiant warmth that just couldn't be described. Love? Yes, absolutely yes, but…it was more than that.
It was enough to let a one-hundred-pound weight lie on her arm and willingly take the painful discomfort.
Because, you know, it'd kill him to just roll over, right?
