Kurama no Kyubi: There's something I forgot to tell you last chapter, though some of you may already know this; I've started writing Super Smash Bros. Z, and I've also got up a poll where you guys can vote for five out of the seven OCs that I will add to the story (the remaining two, I've decided on myself). Though keep in mind that I will also add characters from my original story, however, they will count as being from their own series and not as OCs.

Rianeal: Why ot make some of the info more readable...like honestly...The moves/skills/data on digimon should be in some bold or Italics..your only using them for the Digimon Evolutions practically..The speech of a digimon should be different from Human speech..From reg to bold or w/e. Doing it plainly with text makes it a bit annoying to read honestly. But still! Great Crossover!

Kurama no Kyubi: I don't see how it'd be more readable when it's in bold or italics. Besides, in my stories italics is used for when they're thinking and bold is – for the most part – reserved for higher beings like Gods and such.

thunder dragon: When will you update your other stories? Because I am loving your legend of Zelda and Fire Emblem stories they have the right amount of cannon with a right amount of originality.

Kurama no Kyubi: I promise that I'll get to them, you'll just have to be a little patient. I am currently working on Dragon Ball Shippuden alongside this story, but as soon as I'm done with that, I'm going to continue on Naruto: Path of Radiance until it's finished (I might take The Legend of Naruto after that again as it's only got one arc left).

Chapter 37: The Demon of the Ocean

Deep beneath the surface lay a completely different world. A world known as Daemonium. It is a world covered in a purple gas called Miasma, a gas which is extremely poisonous to most surface-dwellers, including Humans, however there is a race of beings which thrives in this poisonous gas; Demons. Daemonium is a world filled to the brim of monstrous Demons the likes of which the people of the surface world could never imagine.

Unlike other Demons like the ones of the Book of Zeref, the Demons of Daemonium were ranked under ranks from F to Triple-S, with F being the weakest and Triple-S obviously being the strongest, or so you'd think, but there are actually seven Demons even beyond the Triple-S-Rank. These are the Demon Lords, said to be the most powerful Demons in existence. Now, you may think that being called "Demon Lord" they'd be commanding large forces of Demons and while this would be true in some cases, the title "Demon Lord" is just a title given to the seven strongest Demons, it doesn't have any other significance behind it other than that.

There is however one Demon in particular who commands an enormous force of Demons, ranging all the way from weak F-Rank Demons to powerful Triple-S-Rank ones, and even two other Demon Lords. This Demon was Pluto, the Lord of the Underworld. A demon so powerful he was said to be the equal to the Gods of Creation, mythical beings said to have created the Universe. He was one who even the Perfect should fear.

Elemental Nations, Land of Sea, Demon Island, underground cave

"Hmm… According to the records I found on the Legacy, there are nine gateways to Daemonium from the surface known as the Gates of Hell. I wonder if one of them is beneath here." The brown-haired girl muttered to herself before opening her eyes as she added "Well, either way, I'd rather not find out. Don't want to cause the end of the world or anything." She then looked around in the cave before saying "Now then, how do I get out of here?"

Mother Island, port town

Sora and Hitomi walked through the streets of a port town on Mother Island as Sora looked around at the people there.

"Hmm. Just look at everyone here. It's clear that they're distressed about the Demon of the Ocean, yet they pretend to act normally. They also appear to be scared of something, though it doesn't appear to be the Demon itself." Sora observed.

"Sora-san, may I ask you something?" Hitomi asked.

"Hmm? What is it?" Sora asked as he looked down at her.

"Why did you come here? And why're you helping us?" Hitomi asked.

"Oh, well. I just happened to be in the area, and was running low on supplies, so I decided to stop by to restock. As for why I'm helping you guys, I've never been able to say "no" to a pretty lady." Sora said.

"You're not very good at lying, are you?" Hitomi asked.

"You saw through me that easily?" Sora asked.

"I had the foresight to check below deck while we were on the ship. You still had enough supplies to last you for at least a month, and if you had really only come for supplies, you would've left as soon as you got them on the ship. Instead, you left the ship again and later ran into Anko-san." Hitomi said as she stopped walking.

Sora continued walking a little further before stopping as he said "Have you ever heard of a world called "Daemonium"?"

"Daemonium?" Hitomi asked, confused.

"It is a world inhabited by Demons." Sora said.

"Demons? Come on. I don't really believe in that stuff. Even that "Demon of the Ocean" thing that those Konoha-nins are looking for is probably just some Pirates with access to Genjutsu." Hitomi said as she shook her head in disbelief.

"Oh? But that friend of yours, the one with the Devil Fruit powers, he's a Demon. Or perhaps I should say "half", or maybe even "quart"." Sora said.

"What…?" Hitomi asked.

"There are nine gates leading to Daemonium from the surface, and one of those lies underneath the appropriately named Demon Island. The Water-Gate; Torafusa." Sora said before adding "I was sent here to investigate this "Demon of the Ocean" rumor and see if it really was a Demon from Daemonium. And if it was, I was to use any force necessary to exterminate it as well as possibly evacuating the Land of Sea in case of a possible Demon invasion."

Hitomi decided to accept that explanation, but as she thought back to what he had said about Akagami, she remembered that he had referred to him as a Devil Fruit user and her eyes widened "Wait a sec…! How'd he know about Akagami's Devil Fruit? He never used it, and none of us even mentioned it. Sora-san, just who are you?"

Shiragiku inn

Anko, Sasuke, Shino, and Ino were sitting on their knees on the floor before a middle-aged man.

"I'm responsible for guarding the ships collecting funds. My name is Hitode." The man said before adding "I know the circumstances: Your friend is missing and I'm sure that you're worried."

"Have you received any information since then?" Anko asked.

"I'm sorry, but there's been no information about a victim rescued from a shipwreck." Hitode said.

"I see." Anko said.

"However, I'm troubled." Hitode said, catching Anko's attention as he continued "This is difficult to say, but the departure of the collection ships has been pushed forward."

"Pushed forward?" Anko asked as her eyes widened.

"Now we're scheduled to leave tomorrow morning. We apologize for our late notice. A large number of people find our relationship with the Land of Water important and we had to push the departure forward." Hitode said.

"I understand." Anko said as she nodded before adding "But we'd like to take time here to help our friends from Uzushio to find their missing colleague."

"Of course." Hitode said with a nod.

"We'll meet you directly at the port tomorrow for the guard duty." Anko said.

"Thank you for cooperating." Hitode said as he bowed before adding "Just one thing."

"Yes?" Anko asked.

"As you can see, we are not a very wealthy country. Both the fishermen and us are concerned about the disturbance of this Demon of the Ocean." Hitode said before bowing as he continued "We'd greatly appreciate your help with our country."

"I understand." Anko said.

Digi-Destined Bunker, training hall

The bunker that Kurotsuchi had run across was quite larger than she had initially thought. The room where she had met Virtua and Giovanni being only a laboratory, likely for the use of whoever were the brains of the Legendary Generation. There were also two bedrooms, a room which looked like it could be a living room, a bathroom which even had a large pool in it that doubled as a hot spring, an audience chamber which doubled as a war-room, an infirmary with highly advanced medical equipment, an armory containing highly advanced weapons unlike anything she's seen before, ten storage rooms, an in-doors garden that even had an artificial sky and artificial weather, and even a large training hall the size of three football stadiums. All of these rooms and more were connected by an inter-dimensional passageway called the "Hall of Masaki", apparently named after one of the members of the Legendary Generation. Due to this inter-dimensional passage, one could assume that the bunker existed in parts throughout the world, and they would be right, though there only existed seven entrances, each one in the birthplace of one of the members of the Legendary Generation.

Right now Kurotsuchi was in the training hall where she'd been the entire night. And it showed as she was sweating heavily and panting like there was no tomorrow. In front of her was Giovanni standing while Tepig was standing by the wall, watching them.

As Kurotsuchi collapsed onto her knees, the former Rocket boss said "Very well. You may take a break for now. But I'll be back here in half an hour to continue your training." He then walked off towards the door before stepping into the black vortex beyond it.

Kurotsuchi had soon after sat down by the wall next to Tepig as she thought back on the training, still panting. It seemed that the Kaguya and the Jyogo were still waiting for her to come out as they had found out that getting in was nigh impossible, so they would definitely attack her the moment she stepped out. Therefore she would need to train in order to be able to take them on, however, she could still only do so much with a little training in as little time as she had, as she needed to reunite with her team before they returned to Iwa as well as find her missing X-Loader.

So, Giovanni had come up with an alternative; namely he would teach her how to perform an incredibly powerful attack which would hopefully be able to take them both out at the same time. A Mystic Arte. However, in order to perform a Mystic Arte, there was a catch, she needed to reach the 3rd Level of Over-Limit, or at least, that was the recommended Level. Don't get me wrong, she still needed to learn Over-Limit, but it was possible to perform a Mystic Arte without going to Over-Limit Level 3, however, it was very dangerous as it would leave her with no Chakra afterwards, so if it was to miss or not be enough, she'd have no way to defend herself. There was also the danger of it actually killing her if her reserves weren't big enough.

She reached for a water flask standing next to Tepig and lifted it to her mouth before gulping down all the water in it in one gulp and she continued panting heavily afterwards.

Lab

Giovanni sat in a chair in the lab as Virtua's image could be seen on the large screen before him.

"So, how's the training going?" Virtua asked.

"It could be better. She has potential, I'll give her that, but at the rate she's growing, she won't be anywhere close of mastering Over-Limit in time. Much less a Mystic Arte." Giovanni said.

"I wouldn't be so sure of that. He is her descendant, after all. Fuki Ayame worked best under pressure and could sometimes even gain a thousand Levels worth of strength over-night." Virtua said.

"But we're no longer in that time of Gods among men. And Kurotsuchi is nothing like Ayame." Giovanni said.

"Don't you think it's a little too early to judge her? After all, you just met her last night, so she may still surprise you." Virtua said.

"Heh. I doubt it. That girl's shown me all that she can do. There's nothing left to surprise me with." Giovanni stated.

"What if I told you that her current Level is 106?" Virtua asked.

"What?!" Giovanni said as his eyes widened "But it couldn't have been more than 63 when I left!"

"It's seems she's been continuing to train while you've been gone, wanting to master Over-Limit before you returned. And if I'm not mistaking, one needs to be at least at Level 100 to achieve Over-Limit. She's really like Fuki Ayame, after all." Virtua said as Giovanni got out of the chair and hurried back to the training hall.

Training hall

Giovanni stepped through the door into the training hall and started in shock at Kurotsuchi who was covered in the glow of Over-Limit.

Land of Sea, Mother Island, Isaribi's shack

Akagami and Isaribi were sitting on their knees in a small room with a pot with soup in it that was hanging just over a fire. Isaribi removed the wooden lid on the pot before pouring some soup into a cup.

"Why did you come to this remote area?" She asked as she gave the cup to Akagami who was sitting across from her.

"We learned that some bastard named Orochimaru was conducting inhumane experiments in order to create Ninja that could function under-water, so we came here to stop him. Oh, and those Konoha-nins are apparently out to get rid of that Demon of the Ocean." Akagami replied.

"Then it would be best for you to give up. Orochimaru is not someone you could easily deal with, and if you were to run across the Demon, it'll rip you to shreds." Isaribi said.

"Oh, I wouldn't worry about that. After all, this Demon is probably just one of those Book of Zeref rejects." Akagami stated, and for some reason, the determination in his voice caused a smile to appear on Isaribi's face, though it quickly faded.

"So… do you feel fine now?" She asked.

"Huh…?" Akagami uttered as he looked at her slightly confused before remembering that the girl before him had saved him from a watery grave "Oh, yeah. I'm all right now."

"Very well. Then, once you've eaten that, get out." Isaribi said before getting to her feet.

"What was that…?" Akagami asked as he watched the girl leave before he quickly got done with the food and hurried after her.

"What was that all about?" He asked as he exited the house, however, as he closed the door behind him, he noticed that someone had drawn katakana on the windows on the door which spelled out "Go away". Areas of the wall seemed to have been splashed with paint as there were hiragana, katakana, and kanji written on the walls, all of which spelled out mean things like "Monster" and "Demon" and such.

"What's this?" Akagami asked.

"It's the work of some brats from the village. If I let it bother me, there's no end to it." Isaribi said before turning around as she walked away.

"Wait, Isaribi…" Akagami said, causing the bandaged girl to stop in her tracks "Remember, I owe you one." Isaribi then resumed walking as Akagami turned around to walk his own way.

However, just then, he heard a kid yelling "She's out, the Monster!"

"what the…?" Akagami said as he looked over his shoulder before turning around to see several kids yelling at Isaribi.

"Get out of here!" One of them yelled.

"You're bad luck!" Another one yelled.

"Yeah, take this!" A third one yelled as she threw a rock at Isaribi, hitting her on the right shoulder, causing her to fall to her knees.

"Isaribi…! Stop it, you brats!" Akagami said as he ran towards them.

"Disappear!" One of the kids said.

"Get out of here!" Another one said.

"Say something." Another one said before throwing a rock straight towards the girl's face, however it was caught by Akagami.

"Knock it off, you twerps! You're taking your pranks a little too far!" Akagami said.

"Who are you? A friend of this Monster?" The one who threw the second stone asked.

"As far as I'm concerned, you're a heck of a lot closer to being Monsters than she is!" Akagami said.

"And what's that supposed to mean?" The kid who threw the second stone asked.

"When it comes to Humans, Monsters are those that look down on others, just like what you're doing right now!" Akagami said.

"But Isaribi's the one who was spirited away and became friends with the Demon of the Ocean!" The girl that threw the first rock said.

"You shouldn't make up things like that!" Akagami yelled.

"It's true!" One of the kids yelled as he kicked the back of Akagami's left leg, just above the foot.

"Argh! You little brat!" Akagami yelled as he looked down at the boy before straightening out his right hand and thrusting it towards the boy, aiming for his throat, however he was stopped when Isaribi grabbed his left wrist "Isaribi…"

"Don't." Isaribi said as the kids ran off.

"Run!" One of the kids said.

"Stupid guy!" Another one said.

"Why'd you stop me? Why didn't you fight back or even say anything? Those brats will only continue this if they're not taught a lesson." Akagami said as Isaribi let go of his wrist before getting up on her feet as she dusted herself off.

"It's all right. You should just leave me alone." Isaribi said.

"With how those brats acted, there's no way I could do that!" Akagami said.

"I'm saying that it's none of your business!" Isaribi yelled before calmly saying "They're right, I was taken away by the Spirits. So it's only natural that people would find me creepy."

"But that's not your fault!" Akagami said.

"That doesn't matter. Humans don't let those who are different from them into their group. So…" Isaribi said.

With Zoe and J.P

"We've been looking for that girl for hours now. Zoe-chan, don't you think we should take a break?" J.P asked.

"Well, I suppose that'd be a good idea. We can take a little break and then we'll return to the town in the Land of Tea to see if she's coming back to do business with the merchants there." Zoe said.

"Don't you two think you're a little too relaxed for being on a mission to investigate one of Orochimaru-sama's bases at the play-grounds of the Demon of the Ocean?" A voice said from behind them and they turned around to see someone step out from behind a large rock, though the rock's shadow still covered his body.

"Ah! It's you!" Zoe exclaimed.

"Zoe! J.P! It's been a while, hasn't it?" The boy said before holding out his right hand as a ring of data suddenly surrounded it and he was covered in a ball of flames. When the flames dispersed, he was revealed to be Agunimon, the same Human/Digimon who was once Zoe and J.P's superior when they were still working for Orochimaru.

"Agunimon!" J.P said.

"Orochimaru-sama was very displeased with your betrayal and wanted me to bring you back with me, by force if necessary. Or at least, that's what he said. But I personally think that he no longer saw a need for me, so he sent me so that we'd all kill each other." Agunimon said.

"Then, why don't you come with us instead? You could start anew, free from Orochimaru's control. You don't have to follow his orders any longer!" Zoe said.

"Yeah. Naruto's a much greater leader than Orochimaru!" J.P said.

"Are you kidding? I'm going to prove my power to Orochimaru-sama by killing the both of you all by myself and make him realize that I can still be useful to him! Now transform and come at me!" Agunimon said.

"Kh. Very well." Zoe said as a ring of data appeared around her right hand.

"Zoe-chan, are you sure?" J.P asked.

"Yes." Zoe said as she clutched her hand as she was enshrouded by powerful winds and as the winds died down, she had transformed into Kazemon.

"All right, then. You've left me with no choice." J.P said as a ring of data appeared around his right hand and a lightning bolt suddenly struck down on him, covering him in lightning before said lightning dispersed to reveal Beetlemon.

"Good! Now as I said; come at me!" Agunimon said and Kazemon and Beetlemon looked at each other before charging towards their former superior while preparing for attacks while said former superior charged at them in turn, preparing for an attack of his own.

With Sasuke, Shino, and Ino

"So you say your friend was lost at sea?" A woman asked as the three Genin were standing before her.

"We thought that if a boat left port between the evening and morning maybe they saw something." Ino said.

"Sorry, but I don't think I can help. Because of the Demon of the Ocean, people of this village stay away from the port at those times." The woman said.

"I see." Ino said.

"He's been taken by the Spirits." A voice said and the three Genin turned to see an elderly lady standing there as she continued "That Demon of the Ocean took someone away again."

"Mother, don't say such reckless things." The woman said.

"Taken by the Spirits…" Ino said.

"We heard that at the port, too." Sasuke said before asking "Can you give us details about this "taken by the Spirits", thing?"

"What good will talking about it do?" The woman asked.

"But…" Ino started.

The woman then averted her eyes as she folded her arms beneath her chest as she said "Please forgive me. This isn't something to be talked about with outsiders."

"We might be able to help you. Why? Because we came here to exterminate the Demon." Shino said.

"Exterminate the Demon?!" The woman asked as her eyes widened as she looked back at them before deciding to tell them.

"All right, then. For a long time, there's been a legend among fishermen about Demon Island." She said.

"A legend?" Sasuke asked.

"Yes. It says don't come near Demon Island, "the island where Demons live". Demon Island has always been a fishing area rich in fish, but there were many hidden reefs and it was a dangerous marine area. So everybody obeyed the legend. But one unusually cool summer about ten years ago, the fish disappeared from the sea. My husband and I decided to venture into the dangerous marine area. It was a large catch. But when I happily came back to the surface of the ocean, I saw an empty boat and my husband was nowhere to be seen. Ever since then – one after the next – anyone who approached that island disappeared. And the people who went to search didn't return. Now the villagers stay away from that island for fear that they too will be taken away." The woman said.

"An island where people disappear." Ino said.

"That's a peculiar story." Shino said.

"Speaking of which, I heard that there's a girl who returned from being taken away." Ino said.

"Oh, yes… Isaribi." The woman said.

"Ma'am, I've got one more question. Please tell me where she lives." Ino said.

Demon Island

Sora docked his ship off the shore of the island before he jumped into the water and began swimming. He stopped before a cliff wall as he looked up it before diving under-water and as he had gotten pretty deep down, he spotted a cave which went into the island so he swam in. Eventually, he resurfaced inside a large open cave area before he then swam over to the shore and climbed out of the water.

He then took several steps before saying "You can show yourself now." And suddenly Hitomi turned herself visible behind him.

"How'd you notice me?" She asked before recalling that the Samurai, Yatta, had also been able to detect her easily, even when she was invisible "Don't tell me you did whatever that Samurai did to find me."

"Soul Perception? No, I don't need a cheap trick like that to see you." Sora said as he looked at her over his shoulder, though his eyes were closed, though then again, they were rarely open. (Kurama no Kyubi: For some reason, I was always imagining him with his eyes closed, so I went back and slightly changed his description in the previous chapter as I've also decided to change his eye-color.)

"Then how…?" Hitomi asked before Sora turned around.

"You may be invisible to everyone else, but these eyes of mine can still see you as clear as day." The Alliance Marine said as he slightly opened his eyes before asking "Now then, mind telling me what you're doing, following me around?"

"Ah! Eh… um…" Hitomi stuttered as she hadn't come up with an excuse in case he found her, a possibility she had dismissed completely due to obvious reasons. However, before either of them could continue, they heard something in the distance behind Sora that sounded like someone falling and some rocks rolling across the ground.

Kazemon and Beetlemon vs. Agunimon

"Hurricane Wave/Mjølnir Thunder!" Kazemon sent a stream of several mini-tornadoes from her finger-tips at Agunimon as Beetlemon covered his right fist in lightning and charged towards him. The mini-tornadoes hit home, causing Agunimon to skid backwards before Beetlemon appeared in his face and delivered a powerful lightning-filled punch, sending the Warrior of Fire flying backwards. Though he managed to right himself in mid-air before landing on his feet as he reared his right fist back.

"Take this! Pyro Punch!" And he thrusted his arm forward, sending a dragon of flames towards the Warriors of Wind and Thunder. As it hit Beetlemon, it caused a large explosion which sent both of them flying backwards, though Kazemon managed to right herself using her wings before she flew towards Agunimon at full speed.

Upon reaching him, she lashed out with a punch that was strengthened by winds pushing it forward, however, Agunimon dodged out of the way before kneeing her in the abdomen and following up with an elbow to the back of her neck. Kazemon managed to stop herself from falling over on the ground before turning around as she lashed out with a kick, followed quickly by two others, though Agunimon dodged each one. However, just then Beetlemon appeared behind him with his body covered in lightning.

"Lightning Bomber X 10!" He called out before ramming into Agunimon as Kazemon flew out of the way as Beetlemon pushed Agunimon across the ground and through several rocks, until eventually hitting a wall. Beetlemon's eyes widened however when Agunimon looked over his shoulder and smirked. He then threw the over-grown bug off him as he turned around before walking out of the crater that had been made in the wall.

"H-how…?" Beetlemon asked as he got up on his feet, wondering how Agunimon seemingly hadn't been affected by his attack.

"So instead of just your horn, you decided to cover your entire body in lightning to give your Lightning Bomber attack ten times the power. An interesting idea. Just too bad that it won't help against me." Agunimon said before fire started blazing out from his gauntlets, and Beetlemon's eyes widened as he saw the evil grin Agunimon was giving him.

"Fire Tornado!" Agunimon then spun around as a tornado of fire was formed around him, a tornado which also covered Beetlemon's body before Agunimon delivered a roundhouse kick, sending the Warrior of Thunder flying away.

"Tempest Twist!" Kazemon said as she appeared on her hands next to Agunimon before spinning around at a rapid pace, knocking the Warrior of Fire back. As Agunimon skidded to a halt, he leapt forward as he reared back his right fist, flames coming out of his right gauntlet.

"Pyro Punch!" Kazemon managed to get away by using the winds surrounding her to create the illusion of her teleporting before Agunimon slammed his fist into the ground where she'd just been as Beetlemon then appeared behind him with his lightning-covered hands clasped together over his head.

"Thor Hammer!" He called out as he slammed his hands down on Agunimon, causing him to get sent flying before flipping around in mid-air as he planted his feet back on the ground. Then Kazemon suddenly appeared in his face and lashed out with a series of wind-empowered kicks.

"It's no use, Agunimon! Even you can't beat the two of us at once!" She said.

"Oh, really?" Agunimon asked before delivering a fiery palm-strike to her stomach, causing her to be sent flying backwards before rolling across the ground and eventually coming to a stop "Here's a nice little tid-bit for you. While the both of you have been giving it your all, I've only been using 50% of this form's current power."

'Only 50%?!' Kazemon thought in surprise before saying "You're bluffing! There's no way that you could be so much stronger than us!"

"Oh? Am I now? Do you wanna see me at full power, then?" Agunimon asked before his entire body was suddenly engulfed in flames as Kazemon and Beetlemon could both feel the Warrior of Fire's power increasing.

'Wh-what's happening? Why am I suddenly finding it difficult to breathe?' Kazemon thought before looking towards Beetlemon over her shoulder to see that he had been forced onto his knees by the sheer pressure from Agunimon's powers 'J.P can't even manage to stand up-right.'

"You know, Zoe." Agunimon said, causing Kazemon to look back at him as he continued "Right now, I'm so strong that – even if I'm just a Champion – I could still take on an Ultimate."

"I see." Kazemon said before rising to her feet "In that case, it seems like I'll have to go all-out as well."

"Hmm?" Agunimon looked at her confused before noticing the three rings of data appearing around Kazemon's hand and he smirked. This was about to get very interesting.

"Z-Zoe-chan?" Beetlemon said.

"Stand back, J.P." Kazemon said before clutching her hand into a fist as she was covered by powerful winds.

"Kazemon Digivolve to… Zephyrmon!"

"Nice. So you've reached Ultimate, have you?" Agunimon asked.

"Now let's see if your previous statement holds true. Come at me and experience first-hand the power I used to break a Warship in half." Zephyrmon said.

With Anko, Sasuke, Shino, and Ino

"I see, the only one who returned from being taken away." Anko said as she had met up with the Genin and they were currently jumping through the trees as the Genin had just told her what they had found out.

"I thought we should at least go and see." Ino said.

"She may have some information about Demon Island." Shino said.

"Hmm?" Sasuke noticed something before landing on a branch as he said "Hold it." Anko, Ino, and Shino then landed on the branch next to him. Beneath them they saw Isaribi walking along a beach.

"Oh! That girl!" Ino said.

"My, you've got some good eyes there, Uchiha." Anko said.

"So, what now?" Sasuke asked.

"I wonder where she intends to go." Anko said.

As Isaribi walked across the beach, she suddenly came to a halt as she carefully looked around.

"She's cautious." Shino observed.

"Let's follow without being noticed." Anko said and the four of them jumped down from the branch.

Isaribi then approached a cave entrance in the cliff wall as she looked around to make sure she isn't being followed before walking in. Anko – who was hiding behind a large rock – then looked towards Sasuke, Ino, and Shino, who were hiding behind another rock as she nodded, and they nodded in return before following.

In the meantime, Isaribi had exited the cave on the other side to enter an area that had a beach where the cave was and a lake that was surrounded by a wall of earth that, from a bird's-eye view would almost look like a ring. And on the opposite side from where the cave was, was a large hole in the wall which was what is letting the sea-water in.

Isaribi walked out into the water before stopping and all of a sudden, her bandages were all ripped to shreds as her skin was covered in green scales and she got fin-like appendages on her arms, legs, and atop her head, revealing her as the Demon of the Ocean. She then heard something behind her and she hissed as she turned around to see the four Konoha Shinobi coming out of the cave.

"That appearance… It can't be! You're the Demon of the Ocean?" Ino said, and Isaribi splashed a wave of water at the Shinobi to distract them.

As Anko thought back to the girl's appearance, her eyes widened as she remembered something.

"What…?" She said before she felt her curse mark begin to throb as she clutched it.

Isaribi then jumped into the water before starting to swim away as three of Shino's bugs followed her, though they couldn't go into the water.

"I won't let you escape!" Ino yelled as she and Shino ran after the "Demon".

Sasuke on the other hand, remained at the beach as he looked back at their Sensei to see the shocked look in her eyes.

"Is everything all right?" He asked.

Anko didn't reply, however, instead she just closed her eyes as she recalled when Orochimaru had brought her to Demon Island a long time ago, and she had seen a similar creature.

"That girl, could she be…?" Anko asked herself as she had opened her eyes.

"… Anko! Hey, Anko!" Came Sasuke's voice, interrupting her from her trail of thought.

"Huh? What?" She asked.

"You spaced out there for a minute. I was wondering if you were all right." Sasuke said.

"No, it's nothing. I'm all right." Anko said.

"Hmph. If you say so." Sasuke said as he looked back towards the direction which Isaribi was fleeing in.

"Aren't you gonna help them?" Anko asked.

"I'm waiting for an opening." Sasuke stated.

As Ino ran across the water, she pulled out a kunai and wrapped an explosive tag around it before throwing it at the wall above the hole. The tag then blew up as large rocks fell down into the water as Isaribi maneuvered around them before being forced to resurface, but just then, three shuriken with strings attached to them circled her body, binding her. She then looked back to see Shino holding the strings.

"Give it up. You can't escape." Shino said.

"We've got you now, Demon!" Ino said as she came up next to Shino and looked towards Isaribi.

Land of Earth, Digi-Destined Bunker entrance

"Argh! Is she going to come out soon or not? I'm tired of waiting, dammit!" The orange-haired woman who was a member of the Jyogo Clan said in annoyance as she was sitting on a boulder.

"It could be that the inside of that ruin leads to a cave which could've brought her elsewhere. So she could already be back at Iwa for all we know." The white-haired man – who was a member of the Kaguya Clan – said as he was leaning against a tree and looked towards the ruin.

"Then why have we been out here waiting?!" The Jyogo Clan member asked.

"Hmm? Hold on." The Kaguya Clan member said as he heard something from the ruin, and sure enough Kurotsuchi ascended from where she'd gone down on the elevator "Looks like it was a good idea for us to wait, after all."

"Ha! Finally! I was getting tired of waiting!" The Jyogo Clan member said as Kurotsuchi was walking down the stairs, Tepig following after her.

Digi-Destined Bunker, lab

Giovanni sat on a chair before the large screen which usually showed Virtua's face, except this time it showed Kurotsuchi and the two Acnologia followers with Virtua's face in a box up in the top-right end of the screen.

"Now let's see how you've really grown." Giovanni said.

Digi-Destined Bunker entrance

Kurotsuchi was standing at the bottom of the stairs as Tepig stood next to her, growling at the Acnologia followers.

"So you're the ones who were following me, huh?" Kurotsuchi asked.

"Oh? You knew? Well, that makes things easier for us. Now, hand over the Orb." The Kaguya Clan member said.

"The Orb? Sorry, but I don't know what you're talking about." Kurotsuchi said as reached for her X-Loader which was now on her right hip as she said "Now, are you planning on letting me through, or you going to have to force me to beat you up?"

Land of Sea, Mother Island, Zephyrmon vs. Agunimon

"Z-Zoe… chan…!" Beetlemon was struggling to say as he was lying on the ground, being nearly crushed by the power that Agunimon was putting out.

Agunimon – in the meantime – was holding up a badly wounded Zephyrmon who at this point was struggling just to maintain her form by her neck as he was laughing maniacally. He then threw her to the ground as he spoke up.

"Pathetic! And you call yourself an Ultimate?! You're a disgrace!" He said as Zephyrmon looked up at him before he added "But before I kill you, I think I'll show you just how outmatched you were from the beginning." Zephyrmon and Beetlemon's eyes then widened as black markings started to spread across Agunimon, revealing that Orochimaru had given him a curse mark. As the marks had covered his entire body, they suddenly began glowing blue as Agunimon's armor, hair, and even his skin turned blue with his skin and hair being a more cyan color and his armor being deep blue. The flames coming out of him also turned blue.

"If I was as strong as an Ultimate before, then right now, I'm as strong as a Mega." He said.

Elsewhere

On a ship crossing the sea where three people standing at the bow. One of them – the one who appeared to be the leader – had shoulder-length purple hair, a scar going down over his left eye, and was wearing a red armor. Another one had dark green hair in a hair-style similar to Kakashi except that it pointed to the right instead of the left, and he also had a face-mask and wore black armor. The sole female of the three had cyan-blue hair, wore some kind of helmet with horns coming out of the sides of it and black armor with red out-lines. What stood out about them the most, however, were the numerous cracks they had on their skin and the black sclera in their eyes.

"So, that's the Land of Sea, huh?" The leader of the three said as he looked towards the Land of Sea through a pair of binoculars before removing them as he said "And resting just below there is a powerful Demon just waiting for me to control it."

Yoroi "This girl's an important lab-rat. If we lose her, I'm the one who's gonna be held responsible."

Agunimon "Hahahahah! If I keep going like this, then by the time I've reached Super Ultimate, I'll be as strong as a Perfect!"

Akagami "Just you wait, and I'll beat that stupid smirk right off your face!"

Sora "Sword Dancers are Triple-S-Rank Demons that act as the gate-keepers of the Demon Gates, stopping anyone from passing through from either side. However, if a Demon Gate were to be forcibly opened or destroyed, then the Sword Dancer would be the first Demon to come through."

Sasuke "Next time on Naruto: Shinobi Hunters: Demon's Lair."

Anko "A good number of people did mysteriously vanish in the Land of Sea ten years ago, but that was not the work of a Demon. Orochimaru kidnapped Humans to use as live subjects for his research at the time."

Character information

Name: Shiranaru Mai.

Age: 15

Affiliation: United Samurai Empire (former), Uzushiogakure.

Affinity: Wind.

Likes: Plants, Mia.

Dislikes: Elves, People who look down on others for being different.

Info: In Mai's veins flows the accursed mix of Human and Elven blood, making her what is known as a Half-Elf, people that are looked down upon by both Humans and Elves alike simply for not belonging to either Race. At age 4, she was thrown out of the Elven Village of Heimdall as her mother who had protected her up till that point had succumbed to illness, and so she was left to fend for herself in the swamp-like Ymir Forest. One day however, a Human male entered the forest and saved her from her loneliness, and for several years, he taught her how to properly wield a sword as well as how to use Magic, or at least, he did as best as he could, not being able to wield Magic himself. However, one day when Mai was only 9 years old, he suddenly vanished and she's been trying to find him ever since. Eventually, her search led her to become a Samurai and join the coalition of Samurai from all corners of the world, known as the United Samurai Empire, believing it to be the best way to find the man who had raised her, as he was a swordsman himself. Though in the end, she never found him and instead found herself wondering why she joined the United Samurai Empire. However, as fate would have it, just as she was beginning on having thoughts on leaving, Samurai General Ryuma himself ordered every Samurai in the South Blue to join with the other Samurai from across the world in a massive invasion on a small island nation all the way up in the North Blue. During the battle, she met girl on the opposite side named Mia who offered her to join them, and she accepted the offer. Since then she's been living in Uzushio and have become close friends with Mia and the other Greil Mercenaries, though she still don't know if she should join the village, the mercenaries, or continue to travel all by herself.

Kurama no Kyubi: Sorry for the wait, but I recently got my hands on the Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D and Dragon Ball Xenoverse, both of which took up a lot of my time, and I've also started watching Let's Plays on YouTube of the Tales Games which I've never been able to get my hands on (I've watched Legendia, Innocence, Destiny, and I'm currently on Destiny 2) so that I'll know the stories of those Games as well as what the characters are like for when I add them to this story.
