Naruto: Shinobi Hunters

Digi-Destined Saga

Interlude Arc

Kurama no Kyubi: Hello everyone. Last chapter, if you remember, ended with the prelude to four different chapters. Each of which will take up one part of this Interlude Arc. And they're all also important to the story. Now then, the first of these chapters is about Salamon who's somehow gotten separated from Luu and is searching for him. So let's get through the reviews and dive into the chapter to see if she can find him.

Wright190: if you actually get to getting those story's out and you've got a lot them I don't see how you'll be able to them out at constant rate man but try and do get around to sending them please and thank in either event things are really heating big time between the gates of hell literally opening and all of it breaking sheesh man you just keep on bringing more and powerful and freaky guys that're just absolutely insane.

Kurama no Kyubi: I will get around to writing those other stories, though first I've decided to finish some of the ones I'm already writing so that I can clear up my schedule a little.

Guest: for 1st ch for kureai gift could of had an anti pervert bo staff

Kurama no Kyubi: Good idea. But I've already come up with a better idea for the staff.

Shadow the Ranger: I'm sorry to say but I will not finish reading this. My reason being is that this story started as a relatively easy to follow story. Naruto is banished and sets out to rebuild Uzushiogakure, and I was fine with how you were handling things. But then you started to go over board with the different fandoms. I counted at least 3 extra fandoms, and I think that now you have way to many characters that its really hard to follow what's going on.

In my opinion you need to stop and think what it is your doing with this story, because right now its just a giant cluster ****. That's my honest opinion.

Kurama no Kyubi: I understand, and I hope you enjoyed the story as long as it lasted.

Chapter 40: Salamon's adventure

In a forest somewhere in the Land of Fire, a small voice could be heard crying out, crying out for its master who had disappeared on it.

"Luu-sama! Where are you, Luu-sama!" The one the voice belonged to stumbled out through some bushes, revealing itself to be Salamon. The same Salamon who was always with Luu of the Council of 5, now lost and wandering about without knowing where to go.

"Where are you, Luu-sama? I'm scared…" She said quietly to herself.

That's when she suddenly heard the roar of what sounded like a wild beast and she immediately ran off to hide in some bushes before peeking out to see a herd of wild Deerlings gallop past… wait, there's no way a Deerling could've made that roar. Salamon then sweated heavily as she looked behind her to see a pissed-off Houndour, and she looked down to see that she had stepped in his food.

She then ran out of the bushes as fast as she could as the Houndour ran after her while barking. She looked behind her as she ran to see if he was still behind her, which he was, however, as she looked ahead again, she saw a wall of orange before crashing into something. As she looked up, her eyes widened as Houndour skidded to a halt before running away. Standing above Salamon, glaring down at her was a Charizard, the same one which had made that roar earlier.

Later

A now thoroughly burnt Salamon was wobbling out of the forest as she panted heavily. Though she didn't notice that a certain black-haired girl was lying on a branch above her.

'Bakuto-nii, I swear that I'll avenge you and everyone else in our Clan. Just wait a little longer.' Kanali thought as she looked at a picture of her brother, Bakuto, who, unknown to her, was still alive.

"Hey, Kanali. Look down there!" Lopmon who was lying on the Masaki's stomach said as she looked down towards the wobbling Salamon.

"Hmm? What's a Salamon doing here? It couldn't have been sucked through a Digi-Port from the Digital World, could it?" Kanali wondered out loud.

"No. If that was the case, we would've known." Lopmon said.

Salamon then suddenly collapsed, causing the two of them to react immediately as they jumped down, landing above the unconscious Digimon.

That night

"Ungh." Salamon slowly opened her eyes to find herself in a dark cave, and looking out, she could see that it was in the middle of the night "H-how did I get here?"

"So you're finally awake, huh?" She looked towards the voice to see another Salamon.

"Are you the one who brought me here?" Salamon asked.

"Hmm? No. That wasn't me, it was them." The other Salamon said as she looked towards the entrance, and Salamon followed her gaze to see the sitting silhouettes of a Human and a rabbit-like Digimon.

"Huh?" The Human uttered as she looked over her shoulder before smiling as she said "Hey, Lopmon, looks like our guest's awake."

They then got to their feet and walked over to the two Salamon as yet another Digimon, a Lunamon also came over.

"Are you all right? You had some pretty bad burns on your body when we spotted you." The Human said.

"Yes… I'm okay." Salamon said before asking "Who are you?"

"Oh. I'm Kalina Masaki. And these here are my partners: Lopmon, Lunamon, and you've already met your fellow Salamon." Kalina said.

'This girl… she's of the IDD. Though judging from her Digimon, I'd say she's either in Aurora-sama's or Mavis-sama's camp. I can't reveal who I am to her. None of the other Council of 5 members knows about me, and if they found out, it could jeopardize Luu-sama's plans, whatever they are.' Salamon thought.

"What happened to you, anyway?" The other Salamon asked.

"Huh? Oh, I just didn't see where I was going and ran into an angry Charizard." Salamon replied.

"An angry Charizard? You're lucky that a Rookie like yourself managed to get out of that in one piece, much less alive." Lunamon said in a rather harsh tone.

"Lunamon! You're being rude." Kalina said.

"Well, it's true." Lunamon said.

Kalina then sighed before looking at Salamon as she said "You'll have to excuse her. She's always like this. She doesn't mean anything bad by it."

"It's all right. I don't mind." Salamon said.

'But still, she knows what a Charizard is, meaning that she must've been in the Real World for a while. But then, how come I haven't heard anything about it? Every member of the Independent Digi-Destined are supposed to receive frequent updates on the various Digimon that comes through the Digi-Port, so that we can take care of the ones that are too much for the official Digi-Destined to handle. But I haven't received any reports about a Salamon coming through the gate.' Kalina thought.

"You're still pretty badly injured. You should stay here and rest up for the night." Lopmon said.

"All right." Salamon said.

'I'll ask Aurora-sama about it later.' Kalina thought as she looked at the interaction between the Digimon.

The next day

As Salamon woke up the next morning, she squinted one eye open as she looked around, making sure that everyone else were asleep. Once she had confirmed that everyone in the cave were sound asleep, she rose to her feet before sneaking away towards the cave's entrance. She knew of course that there would be someone on watch duty outside of the cave, and judging from everyone inside, that seemed to be Lopmon as she was the only one missing.

Approaching the cave exit, she peeked outside and looked around, not seeing anyone. Maybe the bunny was on a bathroom break in the bushes or something, though that would be rather risky. What would she do if a Digimon or something were to come into the cave while she was gone?

Deciding to take a chance, Salamon ran out of the cave and down the rocky surface outside said cave and towards the trees.

"And where do you think you're going at this early hour?" Salamon froze before she slowly turned around and looked up to see Lopmon standing on a ledge above the cave entrance, looking down like a hawk.

'How come I couldn't sense her presence?' Salamon thought.

"Well?" Lopmon asked persistently.

"I-I was just going out to get some fresh air." Salamon answered.

"Oh? You seem to be in an awful hurry just to get some "fresh air"." Lopmon said.

"Yeah, well, I kinda have to go, too." Salamon said with a nervous look as she rubbed her rear legs together.

"Oh! Well, in that case, go right on ahead." Lopmon said.

"T-thanks…" Salamon said before turning around as she ran into the tree-line before disappearing as Lopmon just watched after her, knowing that she wouldn't return.

"Why'd you let her go?" Kanali asked as she stepped out of the cave along with the other Salamon and Lunamon.

"Don't know. I suppose you could say that it was just a whim." Lopmon said.

"Oh, come on. You're too soft, Lopmon. For all we know, she could've been an enemy working for one of the Demon Lords, or even Acnologia or some other Perfect." Lunamon said before adding "I mean, the fact that we didn't even know about her till yesterday is strange in and of itself."

"Enemy or not, it would be wrong to hold her against her will." Lopmon said.

"I agree." Salamon agreed as Lunamon huffed and Kanali smiled as she looked in the direction the Salamon had run off in.

'Wherever you're going, I hope you'll walk the path that you believe in, whether it's good or bad. Though I'd wish you could give me a sign of whether you'll be all right or not.' Kanali thought before they suddenly heard a loud roar, followed by a huge explosion.

Salamon

'First a Charizard and now a Tyranitar? What's with this forest? Pokémon aren't that common in the Elemental Nations!' Salamon thought as she ran for her life as the Tyranitar came after her before opening his mouth as he charged up a Hyper Beam and fired it, though Salamon ducked down as the beam passed by over her head, creating a large explosion as it crashed into the ground.

As Salamon rose up to her feet, she screamed as she noticed that the tip of her tail had been cinched, and she blew at it before noticing the menacing Tyranitar looming over her, causing her to scream as she ran off, though this time the Tyranitar just watched her run as he stood there, suddenly deciding that she wasn't worth the effort.

Soon after, the small Rookie Digimon came out of the forest to see a town.

"A town? Maybe the people there can help me." She said as she walked towards the town.

As she walked through the streets of the town, she looked around at all the people that were walking around. As she usually spent most of her time in Luu's X-Loader when they weren't alone or around the current Digi-Destined, she had never seen so many people in one place before.

"Hey, look! They have a hot-spring here!" She looked towards the voice to see three girls standing outside a hot-spring. Upon a closer look, they each had rather unique designs. One of them had long crystal blue hair, equally blue eyes, and wore a cyan t-shirt under a dark-blue open vest and very dark-blue, almost black shorts. Another one had brown hair in a pony-tail, and wore a sleeve-less brown leather shirt with a shoulder-guard on her left shoulder and brown pants. She also had a katana at her left hip and her eyes were differently colored, with the right one being green and the left one being violet. And finally the third one – who also appeared to be the youngest of them as she appeared to be about 13 while the other two looked to about 15 or 16 – had long silver hair in twin pigtails, one on either side of her head. She also had weird red slitted eyes and wore a purple t-shirt and black shorts. She also had pointy ears which would indicate that she's and Elf, well, that is, if it wasn't for the horns sticking out of the sides of her head, the black devil-like wings coming out of her back, and the black devil-like tail with a heart-shape at the end which was coming out just above her butt.

"Wanna go in?" The brown-haired girl asked in a stoic voice as she looked at the other two.

"Can we? Can we really?" The blue-haired girl asked excitedly as she had stars in her eyes.

"Sure. I don't mind." The brown-haired one said.

"Heh heh heh. Me neither. Especially when I'll get to see those gorgeous bodies of yours again. And maybe we could even do something else." The silver-haired girl said, adding a seductive tone to the last sentence.

"Pervert!" The blue-haired girl said as she pointed at the silver-haired girl.

"What? You seemed to enjoy it last time." The silver-haired girl said, causing the blue-haired girl to blush heavily. And as Salamon looked around, she noticed that several men, as well as some women, had fainted with a nosebleed.

"Enough, you two. Let's go in." The brown-haired girl said as she walked in and the other two followed behind her. Curious, Salamon decided to follow them, and as she entered the building, a girl who looked to be about 11 or 12 walked passed as she exited the hot-springs before stopping as she let out a content sigh as she stretched.

"Mmm. Reminds me of the hot-springs back home." The girl said as Salamon noticed a peculiar-looking ring on her finger.

'A Summoning Ring?' She thought as the girl walked away.

Soon after, Salamon entered the girl's side of the hot-spring to see that only the three girls she saw outside were present.

"Mmm. This is the best." The blue-haired girl said as she relaxed in the water before looking over her shoulder towards the brown-haired girl who was leaning with her back against the wall, still fully clothed "Hey, Kana-chan, the water's great. Why don't you get in?"

"You know why. I get weak when I'm in the water." The brown-haired girl, now identified as Kana said.

"But isn't that just in salt water?" The blue-haired girl asked.

"Ah well. Guess it'll just be the two of us then." The silver-haired girl said as she walked towards the water, and Salamon's eyes nearly popped out as she noticed that the girl had a certain male appendage between her legs as she got down in the water next to the blue-haired girl and sighed in contentment.

She then smirked perversely as she put her left hand on the blue-haired girl's left breast and started groping it while the girl moaned while repeatedly saying stuff like "no", "don't", and "stop".

"Hey, Eve-san. Why did you come to our World, anyway? You're a Daemonium Demon of the Succubus Clan, aren't you?" Kana inquired, catching the silver-haired girl's attention as she stopped what she was doing.

"Oh, you know that large hole to the south of here right? I flew up through there." Eve said.

"That doesn't answer my question. Why did you decide to come up here? Was it really just so you could have sex with Humans?" Kana asked.

"Hmm. Well, now that you mention it, Humans in general are more attractive than most Demons." Eve said in thought.

"You're still avoiding the question." Kana said.

"I'm wondering too, Eve-chan." The blue-haired girl said.

"Hmm. Well, I definitely wasn't the only one to escape through that hole." Eve said.

"What do you mean, escape?" The blue-haired girl asked.

"Daemonium is currently in the midst of a massive war that has already lasted for several centuries." Eve said.

"What?" Both of the other two girls said in surprise.

"How can a war last several centuries?" The blue-haired girl said.

"I for one am more interested in who the war's between." Kana said.

"Oh, that'd be the Three Great Houses of Daemonium. Satan, Dracule, and Kurama." Eve said.

"Three Great Houses of Daemonium?" The blue-haired girl asked.

"They're kind of like the ruling bodies of our World, like the World Government is for yours. Except that none of them really control anything outside of their Houses, and their only subjects are those that consider themselves members of those Houses. But even so, the Three Great Houses command so much power and respect that if they were to go to war against each other, the entire World of Daemonium gets dragged into it, and everyone is forced to pick a side, whether they like it or not." Eve explained.

"So you came here to escape the war?" Kana asked.

"Actually, since the Succubus Queen, my mother, is one of the Demon Lords, the Succubi are safe from being forced into the war." Eve said.

"Then why did you come here?" Kana asked.

"I'm looking for my sister." Eve said.

"Your sister?" The blue-haired girl asked and Eve nodded.

"She came to the Surface World around a hundred years ago, and we haven't heard from her since." Eve said.

"How old are you, anyway?" The blue-haired girl asked.

"238 Human years. 69 Succubus years. Why?" Eve answered as if it was nothing special while the other two looked at her in shock.

"Holy crap, Eve-chan! You're a granny!" The blue-haired girl exclaimed before they heard a loud splash, and they looked towards it to see Salamon who had fallen into the water.

"Aw, what a cute little puppy!" The blue-haired girl exclaimed before grabbing the Digimon and hugging her into her bosom.

"By the way, Eve-san. Who would you say have the biggest shot of winning the war?" Kana asked.

"House Satan. Definitely House Satan." Eve said immediately, without hesitation.

"You sound pretty sure of that." Kana said.

"Well, of course. Not only is their head Pluto, who's the most powerful of the Demon Lords, but they also have two other Demon Lords while all House Dracule has is a bunch of Vampires, Lycanthropes, and various Undead creatures, and House Kurama– Pfft. Ha ha ha!" Eve said before she started laughing hysterically.

Kana was about to say something, but she then noticed something. There was a small eye-sized hole in the wall separating the girls' side from the boys' side, and someone was peeking through it.

"Huh? Kana-chan, what is it?" The blue-haired girl asked before following her gaze and noticing what her friend had noticed, causing her to yell "EEEEK! PERVERT!" She and Kana then ran out as the pervert could be heard from the other side as he ran off as well.

"Hmm? Where'd the dog go?" Eve asked as Salamon had disappeared as well. However she then turned to look in the direction of the men's side, and she rubbed her stomach as she said "Now that I think about it, I am a little hungry." She then smirked evilly while licking her lips before walking towards the wall, and blasting through it to get to the men's side of the hot-spring.

The next time someone would enter the hot-spring, they would find the shriveled-up corpses of the mummified men and even young boys that had become the Succubus' victims.

With Salamon

Salamon ran into the streets as she saw a man who looked to be in his early fifties run for his life as he was chased by Kana and the blue-haired girl, the latter of which was still naked, causing several men and even some women to get nosebleeds.

'Hey, isn't that…?' Salamon thought as she recognized the man and she ran after them.

The chase eventually led her into the forest surrounding the town where she lost track of the man as well as the two girls. However, she heard a loud crash and she walked through some bushes before seeing the man lying against a tree with his head on the ground. Though, what piqued Salamon's interest was that was drenched.

He then rolled into a sitting position with his legs crossed as he attempted to get some of the water out of his clothes. He then suddenly looked in Salamon's direction, causing her to duck back down into the bushes.

"Maybe it was just my imagination." The man mumbled before rising to his feet as he walked away to find somewhere where he could hang his clothes to dry as Salamon secretly followed behind him.

One week later

Salamon was still following the man who she had no doubt was Jiraiya of the Sannin. Jiraiya then looked behind him as Salamon hid behind a tree and he sighed.

"It's been a week already, you can stop hiding yourself. I know you're there." He said and after a short while Salamon came slowly out from behind the tree before letting out a bark.

'A Salamon? What's she doing all the way out here?' Jiraiya thought before asking "Mind telling me why you've been following me?" However, Salamon only stayed quiet before eventually letting out a bark.

'Not in a talking mood, huh?' Jiraiya thought before turning around "Stay quiet if you want." He then started walking away and Salamon ran after him.

Konoha

Eventually the two of them reached the village of Konoha, and as they walked through the streets, Salamon spotted the girl with the Summoning Ring from a week ago, and she decided to follow her.

"I must say, North Blue's 5 Great Shinobi Villages are certainly huge. My own village cannot even compare." The girl said, almost sounding as if she was talking to someone before continuing after a short pause "I guess so. Though calling it the first Shinobi village is kind of a misconception. Shinobi have existed for at least as long as the World Government, and they've had villages dating back to those early days as well. Take the New World's Shishanomura for example; before it was destroyed and was known as Yamigakure, it was the oldest recorded Shinobi village, and is still believed to have been built during the Void Century."

'Who's she talking to?' Salamon thought to herself before she noticed that the girl was about to turn around, so she leapt into some bushes on the side of the street.

"No, it's nothing. I just thought I felt someone watching me." The girl said before turning around as she continued to walk.

Salamon watched her from the bushes before crawling further into them where she found a hole in the wooden wall and she snuck through it, letting her curiosity get the better of her. On the other side she stumbled out of the bushes that were on this side of the wall.

"Why, hello there, little doggy." She looked up to see a girl who appeared to be about 13 years old with short dark blue hair and she wore a white jacket as said girl crouched down and petted Salamon's head.

"Onee-sama, dinner's ready!" The voice of a young girl could be heard and the older one rose to her feet and turned half-way around as she replied.

"Coming!" She then started walking towards the house before stopping and she looked over her shoulder and said "Why don't you come in?" And she continued walking as Salamon hesitated a little before eventually running after her.

Years later, Norma decided to follow him, so she ran away from home before searching for him throughout the world, her search eventually leading her to the large continent-sized ship called the Legacy where she heard that he had died. She stayed on the ship for several months after that, looking for the Everlight as she was now determined to find it, and during her quest she met with several new people who helped her, and she was even thrust into the middle of a war against a legion of the Crusand Empire, led by third prince Vaclav. Eventually she found the Everlight and used its wish-granting powers to cure her old teacher Zamaran's blindness, just as Sven had wanted to do. Soon after, she set out on a new journey to try and find the mythical Rainbow Crystal.

Kurama no Kyubi: And that's that. Salamon didn't find Luu in the end, but it seems that she's stumbled into the Hyuga compound and met Hinata. Now, this chapter is actually one that I've had in mind since I first started writing this story, so I'm glad that I finally got to write it. Also, sorry if some of the scenes seemed a bit rushed. The reason for that was mainly due to writer's block.
