Chapter 43: The Dragon Guard
A young woman was walking through a plain in the middle of the night. She had long bright-blue hair that went down to her butt. Violet eyes. And her attire was a variation of a Miko outfit with the traditional white and red colors. At her left hip, she had a sword.
"Marth…" She said as said Hero King was standing behind her, and she turned around to face him.
"It's been a long time." Marth said as he stepped forward.
"It has." The woman said as she watched the blue-haired swordsman come towards her, however, as soon as he came within range, he felt a rush of wind go past his face as a hair-strand fell from his hair, and he saw the woman hold her sword in her right hand.
Before Marth could say anything, the woman spoke "I heard about what you did about a week ago. You came in to save the Independent Digi-Destined who were going up against, Acnolodramon and his subordinates, the Dragon Guard."
Marth then drew the Falchion before another strike from the woman came, pushing him back as she said "We of the 100 Gods aren't supposed to get directly involved in the matters of this era, especially not when it comes to the Digi-Destined and Independent Digi-Destined." With every other word, she swung her sword, which Marth could barely block as his own got deflected with such force that he was forced to step backwards so that he wouldn't fall, and on the final word, the woman swung her sword so hard that the Falchion got knocked out of Marth's hands before sticking into the ground a ways away while the woman put her sword at the Hero King's neck.
"Do not interfere again. If you do, I'll cut you myself." The woman said as she stared up into the taller man's eyes.

Naruto walked through the camp before he came to a stop as his eyes landed on Zoe's tent, said girl standing outside as she was hanging up her laundry. And he walked over to her.
"Hey, Zoe. Is Tommy in?" Naruto asked, catching his fellow blond's attention.
"Oh, Naruto? Yeah, he is." Zoe said before turning to the entrance of her tent as she said "He's still sleeping, though. You can go in and wake him up if you want."
Naruto then nodded before entering the tent. Now, the tent was of course smaller than his and only had one room in it with two futons. Though, of course, the futons were packed away when they wake up so as to make room for other stuff. Currently, though, only Tommy's futon was there as he was sound asleep with his best friend, Tsunomon, sleeping on his chest.
Naruto knelt down next to the boy before shaking him awake as he said "Hey, Tommy, wake up."
"Hmm… uh?" Tommy groaned as he slowly woke up as indicated by his slowly opening eyes.
"Na-Naruto-san…?" The boy asked as his eyes landed on the blond, who then just grinned.
Soon after
Shortly after, Naruto and Tommy were walking through the camp as the latter was holding the still-groggy Tsunomon in his arms.
"Where are we headed, Naruto-san?" Tommy asked as he looked up at the blond.
"Heh heh. Now, it wouldn't be that much of a surprise if I told you, now would it?" Naruto asked before he stopped in his tracks as he spotted something, or rather, someone.
"Hey, Ranmaru!" The blond called out as he walked towards the younger boy, Tommy following after.
"Ah, Naruto-san." Ranmaru said as the three came over to him.
"Me and Tommy were going out for a little walk. You wanna come along?" Naruto asked.
"A walk?" Ranmaru asked. He had gotten a lot better since he came to the village due to Karin and Cutemon's daily treatment, though he still needed crutches if he were to walk long distances, and he still couldn't run.
"Sure, let me just go get my crutches." Ranmaru said.
"Okay. We'll be waiting at the gate." Naruto said.
Ethra Mountain Range
Deep within the continent of Arieris in the South Blue laid a wide mountain range surrounded by forests. At first glance, it would seem like any old mountain range, but the trees in the forests around it grew to an unnatural size, and so did the animals living in the forests. Many people have of course climbed the mountain in an attempt to discover the cause, but no one has ever returned alive, rather, those who did survive were mutated by the highly concentrated Natural Energy, or Ethra as the locals calls it and evolved into a higher race calling themselves, "Heira", losing all memory of their past lives in the process. As a result, the mountains and surrounding forests has become off-limits to the public, and if someone wanted to gain access to them for whatever reason, they'd have to get permission from the Emperor of the Souichi Empire who ruled most parts of the continent.
"Speaking of which; How come we could just walk right in? And why isn't the Natural Energy or Ethra, or whatever affecting us at all?" Jigi asked as she and Byaku walked up a trail alongside the side of the mountain.
"Rokuji, the current Emperor is corrupt, and was therefore lured in by Acnologia-sama's power." Byaku answered her first question.
"And what about the Natural Energy?" Jigi asked.
Byaku then looked at her as they walked and pointed at the tattoo on his left cheek "You see this?" And when Jigi nodded, he said "Along with giving you the Apocalypse Transformation, it also acts as a barrier towards things like this."
Byaku then looked ahead before they come to the end of the trail which went up along the side of the mountain as it continued inwards, though rather than going into a cave, the mountain almost seemed to be split, and unnaturally at that as the mountain walls were curved outwards from the center, making it almost appear as a giant hole if it hadn't been for the fact that the top of the walls on either side weren't touching.
"Wh-what happened here?" Jigi asked.
"Turn around." Byaku said.
"Huh? Why…?!" She asked as she did as she was told and her eyes widened in surprise at what she saw "What the…?" Over in the horizon she could see what appeared to be a massive crater, possibly stretching for several miles in every direction.
"There used to be a large town over there with over 100.000 inhabitants. But it all vanished in the blink of an eye without any warning during a single night about 30 years ago." Byaku said before he began walking down the path leading into the mountain.
"What happened?" Jigi asked as she caught up with him.
"Armageddon happened." Byaku said.
"Armageddon?" Jigi asked, but Byaku just continued walking without saying anything.
As they walked, Jigi looked at the two walls, noticing that they were quite a bit away from one-another as, while the path may originally have been only wide enough for one person, now they could probably fit up to thirty people side-by-side and none of them would need to walk on the diagonal surface.
Soon, they came to an entrance into the mountain, though it was quite unusually large for the entrance to a cave.
"Come on." Byaku said as he entered the cave, Jigi following soon after.
After a while of walking straight, they came out into a large open area which was surprisingly bright despite the fact that they were deep underground. This area they had just entered also had many stone bridges and stairs going every which way, as well as several ruined structures, most of which were very heavily damaged, and speaking of damages, the rocky walls of the cave had also sustained some heavy damage.
"Ok, I know I've said this a lot lately, but… what happened here?" Jigi asked as she and Byaku walked across one of the stone bridges.
"About 30 years ago, a single woman fought the Dragon, Armageddon in these caves." Byaku said.
"Armageddon, you said that name earlier. Who is it?" Jigi asked.
Byaku looked at her for a second before continuing walking as he said "Armageddon is one of the Four Great Black Dragons, the same Four Great Black Dragons that Acnologia-sama is one of. However, unlike Acnologia-sama, Armageddon is widely considered to be the strongest of the Four Great Black Dragons, and is even stronger than Acnologia-sama when he was in his prime as Acnolodramon."
"He's stronger than Acnologia-sama?! How's that even possible?" Jigi asked, flabbergasted.
"Hard to believe, I know. But it's true. I heard that they had apparently fought once, and Acnologia-sama couldn't even put a scratch on him." Byaku said.
"No… way…" Jigi said, completely shocked before blinking once… then twice, and she realized something as she said "Wait a sec… You said that a single woman had fought him. She must've been some kind of Monster…"
"Monster? No. More like a Demon. Neko-Majin, or Cat-Devil. That is what they called her." Byaku said.
"Neko-Majin?" Jigi asked as they began walking down a flight of stairs.
"She was once the strongest person in the world, and was feared throughout the world due to her great strength and battle prowess. Anyone who met her on the battlefield would find themselves shredded to pieces. Even Hachimon, when he was unleashed upon the world over a dozen years ago, when he sat his eyes on the Arieris Continent, he was met with Neko-Majin and was utterly destroyed by her. Supposedly, the only reason he was defeated in the end was because his battle with Neko-Majin had taken too much out of him." Byaku said.
Jigi gulped audibly before asking "So where is she now? Do you know?"
"No one does." Byaku said as they came down onto another stone bridge, this one leading to a ledge far off in the distance.
"Huh?" Jigi looked at him confused.
"About half a dozen years ago she apparently went out on a journey, and no one has seen her since. Many people say that she's still out there somewhere, though a vast majority of people seems to have accepted that she's dead." Byaku said.
"And you?" Jigi asked as she looked at the white-haired boy.
"I'm positive that she's still alive somewhere. No way someone as powerful as that could die so easily." Byaku said.

Knock, knock, knock…
"Comin'." A young boy said as he walked towards the door before opening it, and to his great surprise finding a Kage standing on the other side, though he couldn't see the guy's face due to the hat.
"Hello, there. This wouldn't happen to be the house of the great carpenter, Tazuna-san, now would it?" The Kage asked.
"Hey, Ji-chan, there's a Kage for you at the door!" The kid called out into the house as he turned around.
"A Kage?" An elderly man, Tazuna asked as he came to the door while mumbling "What would a Kage come to me for?"
"Long time no see, old man." The Kage said as he grinned, causing both Tazuna and his grandson to look at him in confusion before he pushed up his hat, revealing him as none other than Naruto.
"You're…!" Tazuna said in surprise.
"Naruto-nii-san?!" The kid, Inari said, equally as surprised.
"Hello, Inari. I promised I'd return. And I see you've grown." Naruto said before Inari suddenly ran up and hugged the older boy.
"Waaaaah! Naruto-nii-san! I missed you!" Inari cried.
"Heh heh. There, there." Naruto said as he patted the kid's head.
"Naruto, what's with the robe? Surely you can't have become Hokage already." Tazuna said.
"Heh heh heh. Not even." Naruto said before asking "Mind if we come in, it's a rather long story."
"Hmm? We?" Tazuna asked, and Naruto gestured behind him with his head where Dorumon, Tommy, Tsunomon, and Ranmaru were.
Soon
"So all that happened, huh?" Tazuna said as he, his daughter, Tsunami, and Naruto were sitting around the table while Inari was off to the side, playing with Tommy, Ranmaru, Dorumon, and Tsunomon.
"I can't believe they banished you. Even though you managed to bring Sasuke back?" Tsunami said.
"Yeah, well. I'm not particularly mad about it anymore. I mean, I wouldn't have met all of the people I know now, if it wasn't for that. Besides, I'm a Kage now, so I've finally achieved my dream." Naruto said.
"So, um… what is this thing, anyway?" Inari asked as he leaned his head down towards Tsunomon who was sitting in Tommy's lap as they were sitting in a ring.
"Hey, I'm not a "thing", I'm a Digimon! And the name's Tsunomon!" The talking head with a spike said.
"Whoa! It can talk?" Inari said in surprise.
"Well, of course I can talk." Tsunomon said.
Tommy giggled before he said "It's strange I know. Trust me; I had a hard time getting used to it at first myself."
"Trust me, there's a lot of strange Digimon out there. Like a two-legged lion carrying a sword, a huge mole with a drill for a nose, and a green-haired creature with three swords." Ranmaru said.
"Wow, sounds scary. Especially the one with the three swords." Inari said.
"So, Naruto. Why did you come here? I doubt it was just to say "hi"." Tazuna said.
"You got me, 'ttebayo. To tell you the truth, I came here to hire you to help rebuild Uzushio." Naruto said.
"You got any money?" Tazuna asked.
"As a matter of fact…" Naruto said before placing a sealing scroll on the table and forming a hand-sign before, in a puff of smoke, a large bag appeared on the table "… I do."
Tazuna opened the bag and his eyes widened as he saw that it was filled to the brim with gold coins "Holy… What bank did you rob?" This also caught the attention of the kids and Digimon as they came over to the table.
"Heh heh. It all comes straight from the Uzumaki vaults." Naruto said.
"And you're giving me all this?" Tazuna asked.
"Well, I'd like the village to get rebuild as quickly as possible. Besides, there's a lot more where it came from." Naruto said before asking "So, what do you say?"
"Hmm… I'll be happy to return the favor we owe you for saving our Nation from that madman, Gato." Tazuna said.
"Oh, don't mention it." Naruto said as he rose to his feet while extending his hand before adding "Also, I would like it if you guys decided to come live in Uzushio. Rather than just stay there for the reconstruction."
"Thanks for the offer, but I'm afraid we'll have to decline. This is our home, and besides, I don't think Inari would want to leave all of friends behind." Tazuna said.
Naruto smiled as he said "I figured you'd say that." He then turned towards Inari, put a hand on his shoulder and leaned down as he asked "Hey, Inari what do say about coming to live in Uzushio? That way, you could become a Ninja, and you could also play with Tommy, Tsunomon, Ranmaru, and Dorumon whenever you want." He knew he had won when he saw the gleam in Inari's eyes.
"Heh. You evil bastard. You had it all planned, didn't you?" Tazuna said as he grabbed Naruto's hand as it was offered to him again, though he squeezed down on it as he added "Very well, you win."
South Blue, Arieris, Ethra Mountain Range
Byaku and Jigi walked out of a cave to find themselves on a ledge over-looking a large valley. It was a large area with plains, forests, rivers, lakes, and even mountains, though looking up it became quite obvious that they were still underground as while there was a blue sky and even clouds there, stalactites were poking through from the ceiling above.
"Whoa! I can't believe that this is all underground!" Jigi said in awe.
"Hmph." Byaku smiled before saying "That's what they all say the first time."
"Well, look who's here. I haven't seen you in a while, Byaku-chan." A voice said and they turned around and looked up to see Kuroneko the Manipulator sitting on a ledge just above the cave entrance.
"Who's…?" Jigi asked before the black-haired cat-girl took note of her before smirking as she jumped down.
"Oh? You must be Jigi-chan, the new member." Kuroneko said as she looked the Jyogo over.
"Yes, that's right. I'm Jyogo Jigi." Jigi said.
"Huh, you don't say." Kuroneko said as Jigi looked questioningly at Byaku.
"This is Kuroneko, alias; the Manipulator. She may not look it, but she's one of our strongest people." Byaku said.
"Hey, what do you mean, "I may not look it"? You saying I look weak or something?" Kuroneko asked as she looked at Byaku fiercely.
"N-no. That's not it. It's just that…" Byaku said.
"Ah, whatever. Come, Acnologia-sama's waiting. He wants us all to gather in the Crystal Chamber as soon as everyone's here." Kuroneko said with a sigh before she started walking down the ledge, Byaku and Jigi following after her.
"Everyone?" Byaku asked.
"Yeah, I hear that even she's coming." Kuroneko said, catching Byaku by surprise.
"Wait, she's coming?" Byaku asked.
"Yeah. I hear that you-know-who raised a huge fuss over it." Kuroneko said.
"Not surprising. She doesn't like her after all." Byaku said.
"Ha! "Doesn't like her"? More like she can't stand her guts!" Kuroneko said.
"Um…" Jigi could only look on with a confused look, wondering just who it was that they were talking about.
Elsewhere
A girl who looked to be about 15 years of age was under a tree near a lake as she was drawing away in a notebook while humming a tune to herself. She had long blond hair and yellow eyes. She wore a traditional Miko uniform, except that rather than being white and red, it was white and yellow, and her feet were bare.
"Whatcha doin'?" An upside-down face suddenly appeared in her field of vision.
"AH!" She screamed in surprise, but she soon calmed down as she said "Oh, Saiokko-chan, you scared me."
The younger girl, Saiokko the Time-Traveler, who couldn't be more than 10 years old, jumped off the tree before landing on the ground. She had deep red hair in a braided ponytail which had a green ribbon near the end. Her eyes were a bright pink. And her attire consisted of a red shirt and dark blue shorts.
"So what are you drawing?" Saiokko asked as she walked over to the older girl.
"You'll soon see." The blond said before she put down her pen and put her hand down on the drawing "Hold out your hand, Saiokko-chan."
Saiokko did as she was told and held out her hands as the older girl held her own hand over hers and all of a sudden, a baby Dragon suddenly materialized in the redhead's hands.
"Wow, Kogane-san, you're amazing! Can I keep it?" Saiokko asked, and Kogane the Priestess nodded her head.
"You'll have to remember to feed him regularly, of course." She said.
"Thanks! I'm gonna name him Ryunosuke." Saiokko said as she hugged the small Dragon while Kogane was smiling at her, the drawing that was in her notebook, having disappeared.
"That's quite the creepy ability you've got there." A voice said as a boy with shoulder-length blond hair that was covering his right eye rose out of the water. He had blue eyes and wore a white high-collared shirt with blue outlines that went down past his thighs, blue pants, and blue boots that went up past his knees, and to top off his attire, he wore a blue cape.
Kogane giggled before saying "You're not really one to talk, though, Walter-kun. Being able to breathe underwater."
Walter the Swimmer scowled before retorting by saying "Well, it's pretty normal where I'm from."
"That so? Then I guess your ability's not so special after all." Kogane said, causing Saiokko to giggle as Walter's scowl deepened.
"By the way, Kogane-san, do you know where Kalos-Onii-chan is?" Saiokko asked.
"Ah, that guy? I think he went outside somewhere. You know how he is, always secluding himself like that. I honestly don't get why you're so interested in him." Kogane said.
Atop the mountain
Sitting at a ledge near the mountain top was a man who appeared to be 20 years. He had short black hair and wore a dark cloak that was covering most of his body. The only thing that could be seen him wearing under it being black pants and shoes. One would think that he was looking out over the mountains; however, as he opened his eyes it became obvious that he couldn't as they were completely blank, the man was blind. But that wasn't all, he also couldn't hear or smell, nor did he have the senses of taste and touch. From birth, he had been deprived of all five senses, and he was also unable to develop his sixth sense. This, however, was of no consequence to the man, as ever since birth, he had had an ability which made up for this, he could sense a person's Aura, as well as use his own as well as the Aura in the air around him as a weapon; this man was Kalos the Auramaster.
"Hmm…?" He turned his head as a flock of unusually large birds flew by.
Back with Kogane, Saiokko, and Walter
"Mu… Why does he have to be so distant? I don't get it." Saiokko said before looking down at her Dragon "Do you get it, Ryunosuke?" And the small Dragon let out a slight grunt in reply.
"Well, he sees the world in an entirely different way than we do, so maybe he just doesn't know how to act around others." Kogane said.
"Maybe…" Saiokko said as she looked down with a sad look on her face, Ryunosuke looking at her in confusion.
Walter, who was now standing closer to them, looked towards Saiokko before he suddenly turned his head to his left.
"Hmm? What is it, Walter-kun?" Kogane asked just before they could hear a huge explosion, and she and Saiokko immediately looked towards where it was.
"What was that?!" Saiokko asked as Ryunosuke seemed to get scared.
"I don't think it's anything to worry about. Probably just Kalina-san." Kogane said.
With Kalina
Kalina the Annihilator was crouched in the middle of a large crater, her fist on the ground with cracks coming out from it. She then rose up to her feet and looked up towards Murakami the Samurai who was standing just outside of the crater, sword in hand.
Kalina then leapt up towards Murakami before throwing a punch at him while still in mid-air. Murakami blocked it with his sword, however, as her fist hit the blade, a strong shockwave blew past Murakami, causing him to skid backwards.
Kalina then landed on her feet before charging forward, and as she reached Murakami, she raised her right leg into the air before bringing it down. Murakami jumped out of the way and her heel then connected with the ground, causing a large crater that would've made Tsunade's eyes bug out to form instantly.
Murakami was sent rolling backwards from the winds before coming to a stop as he hit a rock. He then looked towards Kalina's handiwork as said red-head jumped out of the crater and looked at him with a smirk as she placed her left hand on her hip.
"Ha! Is that all you've got? You disappoint me." She said.
"Huh. As if anyone could keep up with a monster like you." Murakami said with a slight smirk of his own.
"Hmm… Good point." Kalina said as she put her finger on her cheek and had a far-off look on her face.
What Murakami said was right. In the Dragon Guard, there were four people known as the Swords of Destruction, and Kalina was one of them. And while she is the third strongest of the Dragon Guard, when it comes to physical strength, she is second to none in the entire world, even counting Acnologia in his current state. This strength is what gave her the moniker of "Annihilator". However, due to her great strength, it became as though she was living in a world made of glass so weak that it would break from a mere summer's breeze hitting it, and so, Acnologia had sealed up 99% of her strength within her right eye and made an eye-patch out of his own scales to act as the seal.
"You've got 99% of your strength inside that right eye of yours, yet you could create a crater like that just using what? 30% of that remaining 1%?" Murakami said.
"25%." Kalina corrected him.
"25%." Murakami repeated.

"Tch. That bitch! Next time I see her, I'm getting my other sword back, and when I do, I'm gonna run her through with it!" Saina the Fortune-Teller said as she relentlessly attacked a training dummy which she had plastered a picture of Rika on with her remaining sword. She slashed through the dummy with her sword several times before the Blastia on it started glowing with a green light, and the blade began glowing as well and Saina slashed the sword diagonally through the dummy, cutting the picture, as well as the dummy's head, in two. A diagonal slash-mark also appeared on the trunk of a tree behind the dummy before said tree suddenly fell onto the ground.
"Don't let your hatred control you, Saina. If you do, then you're the one who's gonna end up dead." Nekomimi the Witch, who was sitting on a nearby rock, said. Saina sheathed her sword as she was about to retort, but she was cut-off before she could speak.
"Kinda pathetic of someone who can see the future to let someone steal her sword like that." Saina turned towards the trees while Nekomimi only looked out of the corner of her eyes to see a young woman who appeared to be in her late teens sitting on a branch. She was dressed in purple Ninja clothes which showed off much of her cleavage, and even parts of her white bra which was covering her D-cup breasts. She also had black hair in a pineapple-style ponytail. On her back, she had a tanto, and hanging from either hip were what appeared to be a deck of cards. She also had a ring on her right ring-finger which had a sapphire stone on it. The Summoning Ring for Celsius. On the woman's shoulder there was also a small three-tailed fox. This was Sheena the Summoner and the man-made Summon Spirit, Corrine.
"My power isn't perfect, ya know. What I see is just a suggestion of what may happen. It's not a guarantee." Saina said.
"So that apocalyptic vision you had where the world blows up may not come to be?" Sheena asked.
"My powers aren't absolute, but what I see is always the most likely outcome at the point in time when I see it. What determines whether or not it will happen depends on what changes are made to avoid that future." Saina said and Sheena was about to say something, but just then, she slips and falls face-first onto the ground before the red-head continues "What makes the vision you're referring to different from my normal visions, however, is the fact that while I usually only have the same vision once, I've had that one five times so far. And the more times that I have the same vision the more likely it is to happen. If I have it seven times, then it is all but guaranteed to happen."
With Byaku, Jigi, and Kuroneko
The large underground valley was known as the Ethra Valley, or Valley of Life, and in the middle of it there was a large tower-like round hollow mountain that went all the way up to the ceiling. It was inside here that Acnologia had made his nest, as well as where the meeting would be. Now you'd think the inside of this place would be dark, however, it was quite the opposite, as it was quite bright, as well as warm, something that Jigi noticed as soon as she stepped into the place.
"What's that…?" Jigi asked as she spotted something in the middle of the room, a gigantic crystal that was in all the colors of the rainbow.
"It's got many names; Kami no Chikara, Ethra Crystal, God's Soul. Though the most commonly used nowadays would be; Rainbow Crystal. It is also the sole reason for the unusually high Ethra concentration in the area." Byaku said, causing Jigi's eyes to widen.
"Been a while, #1. #8, you're as beautiful as ever. And this here must be the new recruit." A man said as he came up to the three, looking first at Byaku, then Kuroneko, and finally Jigi. He had shoulder-length white hair, slightly tanned skin, golden eyes, and he had a black Dragon tattoo on his right arm. For clothing, he wore a black shirt which didn't have a sleeve on the right arm, though the one on the left was so long that it even covered his hand. Over the shirt, he wore a dark green sleeve-less leather vest, on his legs, he wore black pants, and to top off his attire, he wore a white cape with blue outlines. (Kurama no Kyubi: Imagine Sorey's cape from Tales of Zestiria.)
"My, aren't you a pretty one, #18." The man said, eyeing Jigi, specifically her chest area.
"Ugh, who's this creep?" Jigi asked.
"Apocrypha the Apocalypse. He's one of the Swords of Destruction." Byaku said.
"Jigi, welcome back. Byaku, good work." A voice said. Everyone turned to the source of the voice to see a man sitting on a large rock by the wall. He had dark skin, long silver hair, red eyes, and there were several blue markings across his body. He also wore a black cape and black pants.
"Acnologia-sama." Byaku said as he and Kuroneko went down on their knees.
"Wait, what?" Jigi asked in confusion as she looked between them and Acnologia "Acnologia-sama? But… but he's a… and you're a…?"
"Acnologia-sama was originally a Human who became a Dragon. This is only him in his Human form." Byaku said.
"Huh? Really?" Jigi asked.
"Heh. He's a Human who practically became a God. One of the seven Perfect, and second strongest of the Dramon species. Acnolodramon-sama, the Digimon Dragon God." Apocrypha said.
"I was just now talking with Apocrypha about you and it has been decided that you'll be put under his care in the War Squad." Acnologia said.
The Dragon Guard was split into four squads; War, Pestilence, Famine, and Death, each led by one of the Swords of Destruction.
"Welcome aboard, #18, Jigi the Demon. I'm looking forward to working with you." Apocrypha said as he held out his hand.
"Uh, thanks…" Jigi said as she was about to take his hand, but then Byaku stopped her as he rose to his feet and said "Don't touch him. You'll die instantly." And at that, Jigi immediately retracted her hand as she stepped back.
"Aww… you're no fun. I wasn't really going to do anything." Apocrypha said.
"Acnologia-sama." Everyone turned towards the source of the voice to see a woman with long flowing hair that was green at the top, but shifted to blond about half-way down. She also had green eyes, pointy ears, and wore a green and white silk dress that had a feathery pattern.
"Riila, you're alone? Where's Katalia?" Acnologia asked.
"I'm afraid Katalia-sama couldn't be here, so she sent me in her place." Riila the Dragon said.
"I see." Acnologia said with a sigh.
"My, #11, you're as beautiful as ever." Apocrypha said as he walked over to her and extended out his hand. Riila just looked at it before turning away with a huff and walked off "Heh. Well, I like them better when they're playing hard to get."
"You sure he kills you if you touch him? Looks more like he's just trying to get under people's pants." Jigi said as she looked disgustingly at her new commander before adding "I can't believe that I'm in his squad."
"One attribute of Apocalypse-chan's power is to be able to kill with a touch, and your Soul will then become bound to his body. He can also bring you back to life whenever he wants. I hear he uses many of the female Souls for his more personal needs." Kuroneko said, causing Jigi to gulp.
Soon
Soon after, everyone of the Dragon Guard that were present were standing in the bright cave before Acnologia who was still sitting on the same rock as before. Not everyone of the Dragon Guard were present, however, as out of the supposed 18 members, there were only 14 present.
'Is this all? So, not only Katalia-san, but there's three others who didn't show up either.' Byaku thought before looking towards Kalina and Apocrypha 'And what's more, only two of the Swords of Destruction showed up."
"Well, now that we're all here, let's get started." Acnologia said before adding "As I'm sure you're all aware by now, our base at the Four-Element Mountain has been compromised, and the Council of 5's dogs stole the three Type Orbs that we had gathered." He then turned to Riila as he asked "How does the search for the stolen Orbs go?"
"A few days ago we found a facility that seemed to be connected to the Council of 5. According to the information we found in the computers in the facility, the Orbs had been brought there for safe-keeping before being sent further." Riila said.
"And where did they send them?" Apocrypha asked.
"They seem to have been split up and sent in different directions. Before I was sent back here, we had only managed to find out where the Ice-Type Orb had been sent." Riila said.
"Where?" Acnologia asked.
"To the North. More specifically, the North Pole." Riila said.
"What? Did they send it to Santa Claus, or something?" Saina asked, jokingly.
"Oh! Oh! Can I go there? I wanna go meet Santa!" Saiokko yelled as she was jumping up and down in joy as she was holding Ryunosuke.
"Maybe I could take you there sometime." Sheena said as she leaned down next to the redhead before adding "I could use Celsius to make our trek through the pole easier."
"YAY!" Saiokko said.
"Heh. You guys don't really think that Santa really exists, do you?" Apocrypha said as he looked over at them.
"But he is real! Santa really does exist!" Saiokko said as she glared at him and Ryunosuke growled at him.
"Where do you get off trampling over a child's dreams, anyway?" Sheena asked.
"Oh, please. I'm really not having this conversation." Apocrypha said.
"Well now, this is a surprise." Acnologia said all of a sudden, and everyone looked towards him before turning to the cave's entrance to see a young woman with long blue hair and wearing a Miko uniform walking in.
"I heard she was coming, but I thought it was just a baseless rumor." Kalina said.
"Welcome back, Furude Oka of the 100 Gods' Five God Kings." Acnologia said.
This woman (who was the same one that appeared at the beginning of the chapter) was Furude Oka the Demon God, and a member of the Five God Kings. A Priestess of the Demon Clan. And by far the strongest member of the Dragon Guard.

Kurama no Kyubi: And that's it for that chapter. And now that I've finished, I just realized that there are two members of the Dragon Guard that I forgot to add. Ah, well. I'll just introduce them into the story at a later date. Also, if you were to count all of the Dragon Guards members that either appear or are mentioned in this chapter, you'll only get to 16, yet, Jigi is apparently the 18th member? Yup, and this is not because of the two I forgot about, but there are actually another two that haven't been introduced yet, so look forward to them. And now that that's out of the way, I've actually got one final surprise for you guys before ending this.
