Crombel sighed as he walked down the dark street. His thoughts were already in turmoil with the events of the week. Already, the Union was in his grasp. He was slowly taking ahold of the Union by staying in the shadows. Although, the Union had been pretty self-destructive, and the other modified humans that the blonde scientist was working with did have something to do with the destruction and death of the Elders. But, Crombel did assist in some of Elder's downfall. Most of it took work, secrecy, and tiring boot-kissing.
Yes, he needed a long vacation from that. But he could take that relaxing trip once his diabolical plans for world domination were complete. All of it would be worth it. Once he was declared 'god' of the new world, a world of his own creation, then he could allow himself to breathe a sigh of relief.
He was so close to achieving his goals. He already had the satellites at his disposal, and the First Elder was nothing but a puppet for him to use. The humans were steadily becoming aware of the existence of the Nobles and werewolves, and the majority of the humans were already fearful of the great beings existence. It was because of this that Lukedonia would have to tread with caution, or even stay out of the conflict. The werewolves were weakened from the previous attacks: it would be foolish for them to even think about making a move against him.
There was no one to stand in his way. He only had M21, the remaining members of the DA-5, and that blonde scientist to deal with.
Crombel stopped at a red light, the crowd of people pushing into him. The smell of gasoline and the noise of chattering people filled his senses. At the green light, he moved with the crowd to get to the next sidewalk.
He knew it was risky to even be in this country, the same country where M21, the DA-5, and the scientist were in, but it was a risk he would have to take. He had one more important assignment to tend to, and he had been putting it off for way too long.
He would not deny that he was a bit...earnest. He was a bit anxious as well. But he buried those feelings and dashed them to burning cinders. He would not be anxious. No, he would look to this moment with anticipation and joy. He was nearly a god. Nothing could cause him to stumble.
His steps took him to a less crowded section of the city. Houses became more frequent in sight, and families walking by passed him along the way. His steps were unhurried, calm even. It was only until he came to a small house did he stop.
He took in a deep breath, resting his hand on the cold doorknob.
He smirked. Well, he'd best open the door and see who was on the other side.
Opening the door, he flicked on the light, chasing away the darkness. His eyes immediately landed on one lone figure in the living room; a teen from the looks of it. The teen let out a startled yelp as the lights turned on, turning to see who had entered their home.
Shinwoo's eyes widened, and his face broke out into a grin. "Dad!" he exclaimed, rushing forward. "You're home early! How was your business trip?"
Crombel smiled as he embraced his son. "Oh, the trip has been eventful. Nothing more."
A/N: I just think it would be cool if Shinwoo was related to Crombel in some way. That would explain the super speed and super strength we've been seeing from him.
