Okro's Wish

Last time, on Dragon Ball E, Okro escaped another close encounter of the Legendary Super Saiyajin kind. Escaping from Caula with the 4th Dragon ball, he's well on his way to wishing back the whole gang. Back on King Kai's planet, Zuchin learned two new techniques that haven't been seen in 1,000 years. But, will Kaioken and Spirit Bomb be enough to stop Caula? It's all here, on Dragon Ball E!

Okro trudged through the desolate forest outside a ruined city he didn't know. He'd moved to another continent. Suddenly, the radar beeped. He pulled it from his bag, and looked at the radar. One ball was moving towards him. Another, at the edge of the radar, was standing still. He groaned. "Great. Just what I need." He looked up, then leapt into the trees to get a look. A pterodactyl flew through the air, but it was too close. He kept in the trees… it was faster. Finally, below, he saw a car. In the car, a woman he didn't recognize was driving. The dragon ball seemed to be moving on the radar with the car. He dropped down in front of the car.

The woman hit the brakes, screeching to a halt. "Just what do you think you're doing, mister?"

Okro frowned and moved over beside her. The car was a convertible, so he could see in. He smiled down at her. "I'm sorry to bother you, ma'am, but you have something I need…"

The woman looked at him with contempt. "What do you want, huh? I won't let you rob me."

Okro reached into his bag and pulled out a Dragon Ball. "You have one of these… I need it. It's an emergency… the whole world depends on it."

She blinked. "You want my Dragon Ball?"

He looked at her in confusion. "You know what it is?"

The woman nodded. "Yeah. I started looking for them after I lost contact with my friend Zuchin… But I could only find one. I guess you've got the other ones."

Okro blinked. "You… know Zuchin?"

She nodded. "Yeah. Who are you?"

"My name's Okro. Who are you?"

"Lacy."

"Well, Lacy… Zuchin's dead… I need the Dragon Balls to wish him… and everyone else… back. I think we need to work together. If I fly, Caula will track me down."

"Is that that Super Saiyajin Zuchin was so worried about?" Okro nodded.

"Yeah. We need to go. Add your ball to the bag? And then turn around, there's another ball not far from here."

"How do you know?"

"I have a Dragon Radar."

She nodded. "Oh. Well, here it is." She pulled the ball from a backpack under her seat and dropped it in Okro's bag. Okro looked at it quickly. The 4 star ball.

"Good. Now, let's get the one near here."

She spun the car around and hit the gas hard. She drove forward, and Okro watched the Dragon Radar. Finally he told her to stop, and she hit the brakes hard. Okro lifted out of the car, looking around slowly.

"There!" Lacy pointed to a bird's nest, which had a glint in it. Okro rose up beside the nest, the 5 star dragon ball before him. He picked it up, then lowered into the car, dropping it in the bag. "Look, if I fly off for no reason, it's because I don't want to see you get hurt, okay? Caula's been following me, and I need to keep out of his way… for the Dragon Balls."

"I understand."

They drove for several hours, Okro eventually falling asleep as the car moved, until finally, the Dragon Radar beeped again. Okro snapped awake, looking at the radar. "The final Dragon Ball!"

"Where?"

"North of here."

Lacy nodded. "Okay…" She turned north next time there was an intersection, and Okro sat up, wide awake now. It wasn't long before the dot was over the center of the radar, and Okro began to lift into the air to see it.

Lacy was silent, but Okro didn't want her to see what he saw above the trees. Caula held the two-star ball. "I thought you'd come looking for this."

Okro dropped the bag into his seat, dropping low like he was picking it up. "Go. I don't care where, but get out of here, take the Dragon Balls. And… if something happens to me… Make sure to wish back everyone that Caula killed."

Lacy blinked. "What do you mean?"

Okro looked at her seriously. "Do you trust me?"

"Well… yes."

"Then remember my wish." Then he shot into the air, a golden aura erupting around him as a scream echoed through the surrounding area. Golden hair and green eyes completed the transformation to Super Saiyajin.

Caula laughed darkly. "Do you really think you can take me?"

Okro growled. "I don't have to be able to take you. Just hold you off."

Caula rushed him, and he cried out with the knee that ended up in his back. Okro turned around, forming a ball of energy and throwing it. "Scatter Ball!" A series of the balls began to fly at the Legendary Super Saiyajin, but they were blocked by a shield of energy. A similar barrage was launched at Okro.

"Barrier!" He let the weakening shield hold off the attack, while his hands cupped at his side. "Kaaaaameeeee… haaaaameeeee…" The shield broke and he released his blast at Caula. "HAAAAA!"

Surprised, Caula took the blast full on, and dropped the two star Dragon Ball. Okro rushed to it, catching it just before it hit the ground. He started to sense for Lacy… she was moving away.

Suddenly Caula grabbed his head, energy starting to flood into it. Okro tossed the ball side-arm. "MAKE MY WISH!" The ball clinked as it landed… right in the seat where the other 6 Dragon Balls lay.

Caula roared, then dropped Okro, who had reverted from his Super Saiyajin form. He wasn't moving…

Lacy noticed the ball drop, and hit the gas harder than she ever had before. She knew what that meant… and what she had to do.

Okro has been killed. Earth's last hope for survival lies in the hands of a scientist, and her ability to call upon the Eternal Dragon, Shenron. Will Earth survive? Will Caula win, and move on to the next planet? Or will this all have been for naught? Find out on the next exciting episode of Dragon Ball E!
