A Game of Thrones
Farfella Lannister watched Cersei marry Robert Baratheon of house Baratheon glancing Stannis and his other brother Renly. They weren't too happy to see their brother on the throne deep down. Men always desired power and coveted those who had it. She smirked inwardly, they could covet all they wanted, and she had other things in mind. Letting Tywin tend to matters she went to her own library and pulled a secret table's top it flipped over to show a map of Westeros. Her markers were still in place. She eyed the Stark stronghold of the North that would be another ally to secure in the future to secure a true power base. Another was across the sea not far from the shadow lands, in the regions of twilight many of the Septum called the cursed ones. There was a house there called Shadowfell. The Shadowfell were not only mysterious but powerful, believers in the old ways, and when she was but a very young child she had met one who prophesized a lot of what transpired for her future.
They were too dangerous alone not to be allied, and they couldn't let them go to the Sands. They would want their revenge later for the death of Rhaegar's wife and her children. It was better to have allies now that could guard them. She traced the Shadowfell marker, it was a Dire Raven intertwined with the moon.
Ned didn't really want to host anyone or company but he had been asked by Robert to host the house of Shadowfell until the Hand of the King arrived to talk about alliances. Lord Shadowfell arrived with his lady and three children, two sons and a daughter. The girl was Rob's age, she was so damn pale with deep pitch black hair it was nearly blue in some light with extreme pale blue eyes one could mistake them for silver. The house wore nothing but silvers, grays and blacks. Reminding Caitlyn of the Watch of the wall. It was rumored that the Shadowfell lands was a place of twilight. Never completely light but never completely dark either.
Right now little lady Ioa Shadowfell was playing with little Robb Stark. Giggles echoing in the courtyard, a memory of laughter and good times, Robb grinned and caught her she squealed and laughed. Ioa blinked though to see another boy their age, pale fair with dark black hair. Jon Snow. Ioa followed him and made him jump when she took his hand. Pulling him wanting him to play, he tried to explain he wasn't allowed.
"I say you are and I'll kick anyone who says otherwise!" She stated hotly making him blink.
Robb grinned and took Jon's other hand pulling. The three children ran into the gods woods laughing as Ned watched on the landing. Feeling warmth at the acceptance Ioa gave his Robb and Jon. She didn't see the status difference. He was not a bastard to her. Bastards could fight, could rule, could die as any lord could in the Shadowfell. It was always winter there, and Winter would come here. All he could pray for was that the Shadowfell house would be with them when Winter came and the long night fell.
Thank you all for your patience. I'm finally recovered from spinal surgery and Carpal tunnel surgery of my right hand, (i'm right handed), so I will be back to updating at the very least twice a month. The chapters will be longer after this.
