An assault has occurred in the England branch of Deus Ex Machina Industries, and it's done by the Purifiers. One by one, they slaughtered the DEM wizards before they can even wear their Combat Realizer Units or activate their Territories to defend themselves.

William Stryker, the founder of the Purifiers, even finished off Ellen Mira Mathers, the strongest DEM Wizard before she could attack. After all, he knows fully well he won't stand a chance against her if she acted first.

"Ellen! What have you done?!" Westcott arrives with an angry expression, in contrast to his perpetual smiler expression. He is not happy that his assailant killed his childhood friend. Sure he's a monster, but he genuinely cares for her, and the same emotion goes for Elliot and Karen, despite opposing them.

"She needs to pay for her sins. You need to pay for your sins," Stryker pointed a finger at him with the cybernetic arm he got from a Nimrod Sentinel. "You have become something beyond human, and that makes you the enemy."

"You will pay for this! DEM Wizards, attack!" Westcott yelled, but no one came. "Wizards?"

"To make sure you don't get help, I took down your men first. Besides, I want the confrontation just between us," Stryker smiled.

With rage, the white-haired man charges to the other white-haired man with a fist as if he's going to punch him. After all, he has the Demon King known as Beelzebub, which is a book, in his possession, and one of his abilities is having superhuman strength. The latter isn't too worried about it as he easily blocks his attack and zaps him with his Sentinel forearm. Not giving in, Westcott uses Beelzebub to summon shadow creatures from its pages to deal with him. Unfortunately, Stryker is able to blast them away with no problem.

"Just as I expected," the DEM founder gets into his trademark grin once more as he pressed a button from his remote control to send a cannon firing at the religious fanatic. However, Stryker is about to get through his cannon with a little diversion and starts destroying it.

"Had enough?" Stryker smirked.

"Never! In fact, I have one trick you didn't see coming. Ashufiriya: Phantom Lib..." Westcott is about to unleash another power through Beelzebub before the fanatic blasts him to stop him from using it. "How dare you attack me before I could use this power?!"

"Because I know what you and your kind are capable of. This is why we attacked your Wizard before they attack," his opponent said callously.

Enraged that his plans are now ruined thanks to a human, the DEM founder attempts to fight him in hand-to-hand combat. Unfortunately for him, Stryker triumphed over him due to his training in the military, something Westcott totally lacks in.

Ready to finish him off, he raises his cybernetic arm to unleash an energy attack devastating enough to annihilate one person, and he shoots the beam towards Westcott, killing him once and for all.

"This goes to show you that humans are better than you mages," Stryker smiled in victorious before leaving the DEM building.
