Marceline was having a meal alongside the trench interior as she waited. Although the food wasn't exactly exciting, she eagerly devoured her bowl of beef stew like it was the best thing on earth. Some of the flame troopers glanced at her from the act, but they quickly averted her gaze to converse with one another. The vampire took the flame monarch's words to heart that the men distrusted her, but she continued to remain calm by remembering her mission: to rescue Finn. Nothing else mattered in the end as long as no one stood in her way.

Suddenly, she aside her bowl when she heard an elemental approaching. "Marcy," Phoebe announced. "He's here."

The vampire nodded and wiped herself clean before finally standing up. She looked over the elemental expectantly to find the magical canine, but discovered there were eight ordinary grunts approaching instead. A few moments later, the men parted and Marcy's eyes lit up when she finally spotted her friend.

"Marceline!" Jake breathed in surprise. His eyes were initially dull from the ongoing war until his gaze met hers.

"Jake!" Marcy greeted in the same tone. She looked him over from head to toe and noticed he was covered in dirt, blood, and minor burns. "You look like hammered jack!"

The magical canine snorted humorously as he looked himself over, "Well, looks don't count for beans out here in the field. This is war, baby!"

Marcy gave him a toothy grin, "It's good to see you again."

"Yeah, you too," Jake nodded. He then looked over to Phoebe and asked, "Where are Flambo and the others? Did they make it?"

"Yeah, everyone's fine," she affirmed.

Satisfied with the answer, Jake looked back to Marcy, "Heh, you wouldn't believe how many times I almost kicked the bucket over the past couple of days."

"I can imagine," the vampire replied. She then glanced over back to Phoebe and asked, "We're not getting in the way of your work, right?"

Phoebe lifted her hands and quickly amended, "No, it's alright! I can't really do anything else until the shield goes down anyway. Do you want me to leave?" She asked a bit awkwardly.

Marcy shook her head, "Nah, you can hang with us. I think it'd probably be neat if we can catch up together."

The conversation continued as the three shared each other's recent life experiences. Phoebe and Jake talked about their roles in the battle for the Candy Kingdom outskirts, while Marcy talked about her personal adventure with Ice King and Betty.

"Oh, by the way," Marceline suddenly recalled for Jake. "Your family's been worried you!"

The magical canine blinked in realization until he frantically searched his sides for the phone, "Aw, crud! How did I forget about them?" After a brief moment, he threw his hands down in frustration, "Argh, I must have lost it somewhere during the battle!"

"Here," Marceline offered with her own cell. "You can borrow mine."

"Thanks, Marcy!" Jake nodded appreciatively. "I owe ya one!" He walked away from the group as he dialed his wife.

"So," Phoebe asked the vampire after a while. "You're here for Finn too?"

"I am," Marcy replied with a melancholic expression. "I came here as soon as possible when I heard about what happened. I knew the weenie would do something stupid to risk his life on the line, but he's always placed others first before himself."

"He's too stubborn for his own good," Phoebe concurred with a slight chuckle. "He always has to be the hero when no one else would." Her expression mellowed, "And yet, I found myself drawn to him because of it."

"You still feel for him?" Marcy asked already knowing the answer.

Phoebe contemplated momentarily until she finally breathed, "I have always cared for him. Even after we separated, I told him we could still hang out as friends despite everything." She looked down, "But he never visited, and the only time we saw each other again after the fact was when I asked for his help."

Marcy slightly frowned at the answer, but waited for the elemental to continue.

"Somehow in between those times, I actually managed to be ok with that. My duties as ruler to the Fire Kingdom have kept me busy and there wasn't a single instance when I thought about him." Phoebe paused, "I was involved in my work so much, I didn't even focus on my personal needs."

The vampire asked, "So what changed?"

Phoebe blushed slightly, "Cinnamon Bun had me thinking about Finn one time when I tried to make a peace treaty with Bonnibel." Her fists suddenly tightened, "Who for some donked up reason has been on my nerves!" She then threw her hands, "Do I look like someone who would wage war for my own amusement? That because of my unstable matrix I might make rash decisions? I can guess all day as to why, but I'll never understand!" Her flames flared briefly before returning to normal.

"Bonnibel is just being difficult," the vampire affirmed. "She won't be reasonable with anyone unless it's on her terms."

"It's infuriating," Phoebe gritted her teeth as she suppressed her flames. "I just want to catch a break for once!"

Marcy placed a hand forward on the elemental's shoulder, "Sometimes it has to get real ugly before things could work out. Trust me, I've been down that road more times than I could count."

Phoebe sighed, "How do you do it?"

The vampire let out a slight chuckle, "Immortality has its limits. Seeing life repeating by itself over and over again has eventually numbed out the feeling." She quickly amended, "Not saying it's easy though! Heh, if it were, I wouldn't mind living forever." She then shifted back into a serious expression, "Think of it this way, life and its hardships are like the seasons. Sometimes you'll have great times and other times you'll feel down under. There are moments when some struggles last longer than others, but in the end, that is what makes us stronger."

The elemental hung her shoulders and looked down, "I feel like this 'season' has a long way to go before I could feel better. Even if I manage to win this war and rescue Finn, I still have to manage the kingdom's welfare and ensure its security. I know I will be blamed upon my people for sending their troops to their deaths even if it were for a just cause." She scoffed at herself from the last words, "A just cause, ha! My first goal was to prevent war using a pen and paper! Look how that turned out! And on top of that, I declared war on the people's behalf, not mine." She shook her head to herself bitterly, "I'm going to get chewed up from the masses either way no matter what I do."

"I will help you," Marceline offered. "If you keep all this baggage to yourself, you're not gonna make it. Those who have gone on a limb to do so by themselves will either buckle or live a life that is just not worth living. Don't give up on yourself, Phoebe and remember that you have friends who will always look out for you."

"We've met for only a short time," Phoebe replied with a stray tear running down her cheek. "And yet, I feel like I know so much about you." She hugged the vampire moments later and let her emotions run loose. "Thank you, very much."

Marcy thought it was a bit ironic on how the roles were switched when she confided with Betty just a few hours ago. Nevertheless, she gave the elemental a few pats on the back before parting.

"Hey," Jake called as he made his return. "Are you two alright?"

"Yeah," Marcy replied. "Just having a little heart to heart conversation."

"You know," Phoebe pondered as she recovered. "Looking back, I kinda wonder why Finn didn't introduce you when we used to date."

The vampire shrugged casually, "Probably didn't cross his mind at the time. Besides, I was mostly out of town anyway, going on a world-wide music tour with my band 'The Scream Queens.' I did hear about the highlights eventually that went on between you and Finn, but I decided to keep my distance to avoid any drama." She then blushed slightly, "As childish as that sounds."

Phoebe scoffed, "Please, I would have been understanding! I've come a long way back then to make sure I wouldn't jump to conclusions and blow up over the simplest of things. Although..." She tapped her chin in thought, "I probably would have teased him to say the least!"

Marcy laughed at that last remark, "I knew it!" She wrapped an arm behind the elemental's shoulders and gestured dramatically, "I can see it now, the two of us will make it a mission to make Finn blush harder than he ever has before!"

The group laughed together and enjoyed the moment. After they composed themselves, Jake reached a hand forward as he started a group huddle. "To Finn," he said.

"To Finn," Marcy and Phoebe said collectively as they stacked their own hands on top of each other. When they pushed downward altogether, the three parted with renewed expressions.

The rest of the day was relatively easy-going as the Fire Army continued its bombardment on the Candy Kingdom barrier. Even though the unrelenting explosions and the barren scenery served as constant reminders of the grim reality the heroes faced, they still sought comfort with each other's company, sharing a few laughs and side-stories to pass the time.

The morning after, Phoebe pulled out her phone as she received an urgent transmission.

"My liege," an artillery sergeant reported. "The shield integrity is on the brink of collapsing!"

Hearing those words made the young monarch shift instantly into a serious expression. Her finest hour had been approaching and it was time to settle things with Princess Bubblegum once and for all. "Very well, sergeant," she replied. "Focus all fire on the outer buildings and work your way forward."

"Yes, my lady."

"Seems like my timing was perfect," Marcy stated as she approached Phoebe with Jake.

"Yeah," the elemental replied with a frown. "You wouldn't believe how many people it took just to make it here."

"I can imagine," Marcy nodded remorsefully.

Phoebe shook her head to compose herself and continued, "Here's how it'll go: to minimize casualties, the artillery barrage will level every structure standing between us and the capital. Intel has reported there are no bystanders in the area of operations, so I've already given the go ahead. Once they're done, I will personally coordinate a strike force to infiltrate the palace and capture Princess Bubblegum."

Jake asked, "Wouldn't it be better to surround the place than to just jump right in? I mean, she can't possibly stay there forever."

She sighed, "Unfortunately from what I have heard, my sources have told me there is a large underground facility hidden deep below the palace, complete with multiple exits." She looked over to Marcy, "That is why I have taken the initiative to scramble my troops over the entire local region."

Marcy interjected, "We could force her out of hiding then. Your guys will spot her, and then we'll go in for the jump, piece of cake!"

Phoebe shook her head with another sigh, "It's not that easy. For starters, she's got advanced technology that she could possibly use to bail herself out. Second, there's an overpowered bodyguard of hers who's been responsible for wiping out whole legions of our troops, including an entire special forces unit. And third..." She took a breath, "Destroying the palace might also kill Finn in the process."

The vampire jerked her head away, "Dang it! So much for that."

"I've thought it through," Phoebe affirmed. "If we want everything to work out accordingly, then we must be the ones to act."

Suddenly, her cell went off again from another subordinate, "My liege, the barrier is down and we're beginning our assault." As he said that, the explosions in the background boomed louder than before.

Phoebe replied, "Use high explosive rounds first to demolish the buildings and then incendiaries to finish them off. I literally want a clear valley towards the palace by the time this is over."

"Roger."

As the call ended, Phoebe looked back at her two friends, "It's already started. If either of you need to freshen up or gather strength, this is the time to do it."

Jake contemplated for a moment until he said, "Nah, I'm good. I already ate my breakfast."

Marcy gave out a similar answer and then asked, "Phoebe, you mentioned earlier that Bubblegum has a bodyguard. Is there anything that you know about him?"

The elemental nodded, "I don't have a name, but I know he's been able to take on our troops easily like a one-man army. He's got super speed, super strength, telekinesis, pyrokinesis, and deadly sword handling."

Jake cut in, "Flambo told me the dude was able to even survive an artillery to the face! The guy's bad news, Marcy."

Phoebe concurred, "My brother and I fought him ourselves on that same instance, but we still lost. Frankly, if it weren't for the men who were with us, we'd probably be dead by now." She stared at Marcy, "I'm actually glad you came to our help. I feel a little bit at ease, knowing you'd put a good fight."

The vampire shrugged with a cheesy grin before shifting back into a serious expression, "What about his looks. Can you describe him?"

Phoebe covered her mouth with one hand in thought and recalled, "He's a humanoid about six feet tall, has short white hair, light brown skin, and grey eyes.. Although, I could be wrong about that last part."

"Anything else?"

"He wears a closed dark violet trench coat with tufts of black feathers covering his shoulders and has gloves outfitted like claws. You'd think with that kind of clothing it would be restricting for the likes of him but..." She then looked away briefly before returning her gaze to Marcy, "Ring any bells?"

The vampire shook her head frowning, "Not that I know of. Have you tried looking him up?"

"He doesn't show anywhere in the data banks as a bodyguard, mercenary, or assassin," Phoebe replied. "Which means he must be another product Bonnibel cooked up."

"I see..."

The elemental glanced at the distant explosions as they changed in volume. "I need to go," she said feeling distressed. "I'll set up a meeting point once the palace is in range. Keep your comms nearby." She left moments later.

"Jake," Marcy began hesitantly. "You don't think that it could be-"

"Him?!" Jake exclaimed incredulously. "No way, I refuse to believe that! If this is some kind of sick joke you're trying to pull, it's not funny."

"I'm not," she remained adamant. "Think about it: Finn goes to the kingdom, saves some people, disappears, and then this mystery man shows up afterward."

Jake scoffed, "It can't be him anyway! The dude's been able do some impossible stuff my brother could ever hope to dream of! How do you explain that?"

"When you put PB and science together," Marcy countered. "It doesn't seem too far-fetched."

The magical canine was becoming irritated, "Nope, I'm not buying it! That's sounds way too extreme, even for her. I don't even know why we should be thinking like this in the first place!" He looked away before continuing, "You know what, I don't want to speak on this no more. Keep your thoughts to yourself and don't tell Flame Princess or anyone else for that matter!" He stormed away leaving Marcy alone.

Nothing else was said afterward as the Fire Army continued its destruction on the candy civilization. The buldings collapsed and crumbled in smoldering debris and were then reduced to heaps of ash and cinder. Within two hours, everything that surrounded the capital was completely lost. Homes, stores, and restaurants vanished without a trace along with the cars that once blocked all the streets. The flat barren region that gradually came into formation was then classified by the Fire Army as ground zero, and the infantry moved into position for the final push.

As the barrage of rockets finally subsided, the three heroes gathered at their next meeting place.

"There it is," Phoebe breathed.

"Finally," Jake muttered bitterly.

"Has Bonnibel said anything yet," Marcy asked.

The elemental frowned, "Haven't heard a single thing from her ever since we've moved forward. Doubt she'll be like that the whole way though."

"What's the plan," Marcy asked.

"First wave will breach and clear the main entrance. Once the area's clear, we'll move in and begin our search to the underground lab."

Jake punched his left paw in determination, "It's time to get my brother back!"

Phoebe nodded.

The grand hall inside Bubblegum's castle was lined with a vertical column of 30 modern infantry troops. All the of the walls and windows in the room were barricaded with steel plating, leaving the two entrance doors as the only means of entry. Rows of pews and discarded furniture scattered the room as the only source of cover, and the defenders anxiously waited for the attack. Although most of them have already considered surrendering without incident, they were ultimately forced to fight to the death under Bubblegum's feared enforcer.

"Weapons ready," a candy officer reluctantly ordered.

The company complied as they aimed their rifles altogether with their hands shaking and sweat running down their brows.

"It's death either way," one defender morbidly thought. "I don't even know if the Fire Army takes prisoners."

"I knew I should have boarded that train," another thought with regret.

Their thoughts were suddenly interrupted when they heard the collective sound of heavy footsteps coming from outside.

"This is it," one trooper muttered.

"For the Candy Kingdom," another said mockingly.

The entrance doors were quickly outlined with two sets of sparks and then blown apart moments later. As the smoke settled, the defenders immediately discharged their weapons, not knowing if the enemy was in sight. Surprisingly, a few fire elementals were seen collapsing in front of the obscurity that it seemed like defenders had the upper hand. However, everyone knew deep in their minds that survival was merely a delusion. Soon more elementals stepped forward from the entrance and a volley of bullets were exchanged between the two factions.

Bodies were scattered across the room as the battle continued. While the attackers were capable of sending in more reinforcements, the defenders on the other hand could not. As the guards dwindled to less than a dozen, many of them unanimously decided to retreat further into the palace. The elementals pursued them with vigor and then re-engaged them when they stopped at another hallway with more defenders. Once again, the candy forces diminished at a gradual rate, and they were forced to withdraw and regroup with another squad.

The fight remained one-sided as the elementals pushed further into the capital. Within fifteen minutes, every room and corridor in Princess Bubblegum's castle was littered with bodies and weapons. The overall shootout within the structure slowly subsided and it wasn't long until Phoebe and her friends safely arrived at the grand hall.

"Status report," Phoebe called from her communicator.

"Unit One has taken the master bedroom and amber prison," a subordinate replied. "No sign of Finn or Bubblegum."

"Units Two and Three have taken the lab, guest bedrooms, and study hall," another reported. "All clear over here."

Suddenly, the radio chatter was interrupted with chaotic gunfire in the background.

"All units," a third elemental radioed. "Be advised: the remaining hostile forces have withdrawn towards the kitchen. We are currently pinned down and need immediate support!"

"That's our lead," Phoebe said as she tensed upon the news. She looked at Marcy and Jake and ushered, "Let's go!"

The candy defenders had two fortified machine gun nests with frontal shield plating that bottlenecked the kitchen entrance. The attackers made several attempts rushing the emplacements several times head-on with overwhelming numbers, but were ultimately pushed back into the doorframe as cover. The stoves, ovens, and food carts were all moved aside to leave no protection in the middle, and the flame troops were effectively brought into a stalemate.

Sometime later, Phoebe and her friends arrived at the battle. Dozens of troops could be seen crouching alongside the adjacent corridor, while others stood idly contemplating their next move. When they saw their ruler cautiously approach the doorway, everyone focused their gaze on her with hopeful expressions.

"My men can't get a clear shot," a corporal explained to Phoebe across the hallway. "Any ideas?"

The monarch frowned in concentration as a volley of bullets relentlessly struck the exposed wall from the entrance. After a moment she responded, "Give me a second." She then closed her eyes and intensified her powers until four flame tendrils sprouted behind her back. As each length grew, the men around her shuffled aside to give her space. Once she charged her powers to a certain extent, the girl waited for the nests to cease fire temporarily. Her eyes were then flung open at the first sign of opportunity, and the tendrils quickly snaked their way into room until they finally arched around and over their targets. A large fiery explosion erupted moments later and the defenders danced in agony before dissolving into ash altogether.

"Great work," a private commended with renewed morale. After he said that, he and the rest of the idle troops began storming the room with vigor once more.

"Haven't used snake fire in a while," Phoebe thought to herself as her mind began recalling her first dungeon crawl with Finn.

"Hey," Marcy snapped her out of her thoughts. "Your guys are moving up!"

Phoebe quickly shook her back in concentration and said, "Right, let's get a move on!"

The group followed the soldiers and noticed one of the pantries lead to a dark narrow staircase. As they stepped inside however, the entire pathway became brightly lit due to the elementals' natural flames. When they reached the bottom altogether after two whole minutes, the group noticed there was a large platform elevator capable of holding multiple troops.

"Some of our scouts have already taken point in the search, my liege," an officer announced upon meeting Phoebe. "They are currently engaging the last remnants of the Candy guard."

The monarch acknowledged, "Very well. Let's end this war, captain."

Five minutes later, two dozen flame troopers jogged out of the lift and began making their way towards the nearest shootout with Phoebe and the others following suit. Unlike the castle, the overall layout had a solid metal interior with several blast doors leading into multiple paths.

"Any idea where to go," Jake asked as an alarm blared in the background.

"Just follow the action," Phoebe replied.

Within seconds, the group appraoched the first skirmish site where 20 elementals fought against 30 guards. Although the hallway between the two sides virtually had no cover, only a few people lost their lives from the exchanging gunfire. When Phoebe stepped in to intervene, she threw her arms forward casting multiple arcs of flames from her fingertips. Most of the candy guards were flung backwards several feet from the explosive impact and soon the rest withdrew deeper within the dark corridors.

Marcy and Jake kept their distance close as the attackers moved forward. While Marcy sustained a few shots on her chest and stomach, Jake used his stretching abilities to grapple and pummel the next wave of enemies with brute force. As the magical canine returned back to normal, he looked over to the vampire with an alarmed expression.

"I'm fine," Marcy waved dismissively with a slight chuckle. "I haven't been shot at in while." Her wounds disappeared moments later without a trace.

Jake shook his head frowning, "Man, I don't think I'll ever get used to that! You should have worn body armor like the rest of us!"

Marcy shrugged indifferently as she replaced her rifle with her red ax bass, "Nah, it'll just hold me down."

Jake sighed.

The overall fight continued for at least 20 minutes as the attackers stopped frequently for more skirmishes. When the combat stopped momentarily, the main heroes took the time navigating through several hallways and corridors. The search for Bubblegum and the captured champion quickly became mundane however, and it wasn't long until Jake asked, "How big is this place? Are we even close?!"

"This might as well be an underground city since we've been down here for a while," Marcy replied. Then another thought came to her in realization, "Where's that bodyguard you guys were talking about?"

"I don't know," Phoebe answered feeling a bit bewildered. "But if I were to guess, I'd say he's beside Bubblegum while the grunts are doing all the work." She then frowned, "Question is, why?"

"I don't care," Jake snarled. "We'll kick their butts anyway and bust my bro out!"

"Ma'am," a subordinate suddenly radioed to Phoebe. "Our techs have picked up some unusual activity five minutes from your location. We're sending you the security footage now."

Phoebe nodded and reached her communicator forward for everyone to see. A small red hologram projected from her device and the group frowned in concentration until they came to a shocking discovery.

"It's.. Finn!" Jake gasped as he noticed the human's bear cap.

"What the heck is he doing?!" Marcy asked as she saw him running and gunning several candy guards as he fired a rifle from the hip.

"Killing everyone between him and Bubblegum," Phoebe grimly answered. "We need to move fast!" As they started to run, the elemental radioed, "Any way we can reach him?"

"Negative," the subordinate replied. "All we can do is monitor his movements and guide you through."

Suddenly, everyone turned around when a small group of candy droids began firing on their location. Phoebe and Marcy dodged to the left wall, while Jake moved to the right.

"It's an ambush!" Phoebe cried out as she fired a volley of flame projectiles with one hand. Slowly but surely, the new drones were riddled before exploding into a hundred pieces. The elemental sighed in relief when the group was dispatched and then mentally berated herself for going too far ahead of the main force. Just when she and Marcy began to work their way forward, they noticed Jake was already leading the way.

"Hey wait up!" Marcy called.

The canine ignored them as he caught a whiff of Finn's scent and began making his way to the human's location. His two friends behind him nearly joined alongside him at 15 feet, but stopped when a blast door suddenly snapped shut and split the group. The elemental and the vampire cursed at the fact, while Jake continued forward regardless.

"It's no good," Marcy panted after bashing the door repeatedly with her giant bat form.

"We must find another way around then," Phoebe resolved. Her communicator then went off shortly afterwards.

"There's at least two paths you could take to get back on track," a subordinate radioed. "If either one closes, there should be a terminal in each one to disable the doors."

Marcy glanced at Phoebe, "You'll be alright with splitting up?"

The elemental shook her head slightly, "Not really, but what else is there?"

As the two followed the subordinate's directions with their communication devices, each of them were confronted by a small wave of additional candy droids. Unlike the rattleball sentry units Flint encountered, these ones were easily destructible with poor artificial intelligence. The only advantage they had to compensate was the fact they had overwhelming numbers.

"Bonnibel just loves dragging this out, doesn't she?" Phoebe asked herself with an aggravated sigh. She ran up to the defenders up close and used her flame sword to vent. Each swing claimed 1-2 droids, which in turn totaled to about 24 overall. Somehow the fight still continued after the fact, and the elemental charged her flames until she sent a powerful shockwave by throwing her arms wide open with a deafening yell. From that moment everything around her was instantly incinerated. The path way was clear once more, but her comfort was short-lived when a blast door closed far away up ahead. "Marcy," she radioed. "I've been locked out!"

"I hear you," Marcy replied with gunfire in the background. "Don't worry, I got this."

As Phoebe tapped her foot impatiently for ten minutes, she began to grow restless. "She should have been done by now," she thought to herself. "Why is it taking longer?" Phoebe decided to contact the vampire for an update, only to hear static. When her communicator went off again, the elemental felt relieved for a brief moment until a different voice spoke up.

"Jake's made his way down another elevator lift at site vector.. 70599," the subordinate radioed instead. He paused momentarily before speaking in a solemn voice, "We lost contact with him for three minutes."

Phoebe was stressed out of her mind upon the news and switched back to the vampire yelling, "Marcy, where the flip are you?!"

The blast door in front of the elemental opened in response and the girl sprinted at full speed until she finally reached Jake's last known location. Upon arriving, she spotted Marceline waiting for her in the process.

"Come on," the vampire gestured in comfort to put the elemental at ease. "You think I would let you down?"

"I've been trying to reach you!" Phoebe seethed throwing her hands. "Why didn't you respond?!"

Marcy frowned, "I got caught up with some trouble along the way. Why, did you think I was dead or something?"

"Yes!" Phoebe retorted. "I was going to double back if you took any longer!"

The vampire let out a frustrated sigh, "Look, I'm here now okay?"

Phoebe narrowed her eyes at her before looking towards the platform elevator, "Let's just go."

After silently boarding the lift for five whole minutes, the two finally reached their destination. As they stepped forward, the blast door in front of them opened to a darkened room with an array of machines and advanced computers that beeped and whined collectively in the distance. The air around them was remarkably cold and the vampire could have sworn a shiver ran down her spine for the first time in ages. And then, they came to another stop upon encountering a disturbing sight 10 feet away across the darkness.

Jake the dog was seen lying down unconscious in front of Finn's feet. As Marcy and Phoebe eyed the ominous figure in the trench coat, the heroes raised their fists to prepare for the long awaited duel. The candy warrior on the other hand merely stared at them with a daunting gaze in response and calmly dangled his Finn Sword from the right side. Although no words were exchanged between the fighters, Phoebe and Marcy were determined to know the whereabouts of a certain human and candy princess.

If defeating this adversary before them meant gaining some answers for a change, then so be it...
