AN: Lemon at the end. Skip if you're uncomfortable.

"You have a boyfriend?!" Simon asked Marceline with a shocked expression.

The vampire could feel her face being flustered as she rubbed the back of her neck with one hand, "Yeah.. I do... You're not mad about it are you?" She asked with a grimace.

He formed a quizzical expression, "Mad? Why on earth would I be mad? I'm happy for you, heh even proud more like it!"

"Seriously?" The vampire started to recompose herself. "I thought you'd go into 'over-protective-dad-mode' or something like that."

"Oh, Marceline," he sighed looking down as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "I raised you since you were seven years old." He looked back up, "Do you really think I would hinder any chance for you to be happy?"

"No," she answered with guilt. "Guess that's the messed up kid in me that's talking."

"Hey now, none of that," he chastised. "No matter who or what we are, we are not perfect. You could live through the wasteland a thousand years, yet still struggle on a social level." He then brightened his expression for comfort, "Take me for example. I still act nervous sometimes when I talk with Betty! And that's even after the fact we got engaged."

"That's right!" Betty teased beside him, which made Marcy chuckle. "I still love him though." She emphasized with a quick kiss on his cheek.

"See what I mean?" He asked lifting his palms under-handed. "I may be afraid, but I don't let it stop me from moving forward. It's a learning experience. Besides if you have a boyfriend, that must mean he must have done something right to earn your affection." He then frowned lightly and held up a fist, "Unless he's actually some jerk manipulating you or making you feel pressured to do so, I'll go out there and punch his face."

"No, no he's not," Marcy said reassuringly. "He's a really cool guy. We've known each other for months now."

"Alright," Simon softened his expression as he brought his hand down.

"Besides," Marcy grinned. "I can punch my own jerks now." She threw a light jab at Simon's right bicep which caused him to chuckle until he muttered in pain from the vampire's overall strength.

"Well, now that's out of the way," Phoebe spoke up. "We should be close to the outlet in about twenty minutes."

"We're making good time," Betty remarked. "After we eat, we can use the opportunity to get a fresh new set of clothes."

"True that," Marcy commented as she examined herself. "I look like I came from the mean streets or something."

"Well technically," Phoebe trailed playfully.

"You get my point." The vampire hastily said with a half-lidded expression, causing the elemental to giggle.

The group had arrived at their destination shortly after. When they landed, they encountered a series of two-story buildings that were clustered together like a miniature city.

"I'm impressed," Simon stated. "I didn't think something like this would still be around, let alone in great condition! Although it does seem a bit too empty." He remarked noticing the humanoids and bipedal animals nearby who only made a small presence, presumably the store owners.

"You'll definitely love the city of the United Civilizations then," Phoebe stated with pride. "Marcy and Betty have told me it looks just like ones from the Pre-Mushroom War Era." She tapped her chin in thought, "What was it? Los Angeles? No-no wait."

"New York!" Marcy and Betty simultaneously answered with laughs.

"I almost had it," Phoebe snapped her fingers with a grin.

"You know," Simon began. "That last city you're referring to isn't so different from the one you have today."

"How so?"

"We had a place for the world leaders to resolve their differences which was known as the United Nations. Though I'm kind of curious how you came up with the name United Civilizations."

"Ooo is mostly maintained by a monarch society," Phoebe answered. "But after some careful consideration, I realized that if we were to come into contact with anybody from the outside world, there's always the slight possibility they may not share the same form in government. Therefore, I created a place for everyone to ideally express their customs and personal beliefs in a peaceful manner." Her stomach then rumbled, "But enough of that, I'm starving!"

As she and her friends gathered at the food court, Jake 2 was settled outside at the nearby plaza eating his own food. They had parted initially going for their own meals until they gathered back at a table. Phoebe's tray included coal, Simon and Betty's had spaghetti, and Marceline had a meatball sandwich. They were eating without a word as they settled their appetites. After a while, the antiquarian looked over to the vampire to gain her attention.

"So," Simon began. "His name is Furnius?"

"He's a fire elemental," Marcy admitted awkwardly. "He's shy, generous, sweet." Her cheeks blushed.

"He's also my cousin," Phoebe added with a chuckle.

"What does he do for a living?"

"He's the current ruler of the Fire Kingdom and the acting leader of the United Civiliations," the vampire replied. "Though I'm not dating him because of those reasons."

"I see," he nodded before taking another bite.

"You're still not like taken aback or anything?" She asked with an arched eyebrow.

"Marcy," Simon began after he placed his fork down and wiped his face. "The truth is that the world I once knew has changed. Everywhere I go, there are beings of all types that I had no idea would truly exist in reality. And even if I was to disregard that, it's not my place anyway to judge and decide who or what should be together. If you like him and he likes you, what else can I say?"

Even though Simon accepted the vampire being in a relationship, he noticed she was still feeling distressed.

"Marcy," he said in reassurance. "I told you I'm happy for you. From the way how you described him, he sounds like a really modest guy and a responsible one to boot."

"Yeah, I know but," she sighed in exasperation before continuing, "Now it means I have to introduce him to everybody! More importantly, my dad!"

"I'm sure he'll behave," Simon nodded. "I mean, he got along with Finn pretty well."

"Still though," she argued. "He always liked the idea of having me paired up with somebody 'evil' to run the family business. I'm sure he'll be thrilled when he learns it's someone from the Fire Kingdom, and then be disappointed when he-"

"Marce," he said putting a hand on her shoulder. "I know I'll sound like I'm beating a dead horse when I say this, but you're old enough to make your own decisions."

She pouted, "But I'm-"

"Actual numbers aside," he stated. "My point is from this moment, you, Marceline Abadeer are taking the next step in your life. You may have proven to make decisions on your own in the past, but now it's time to fully embrace that role in being independent." He looked over to Betty who smiled in assurance before facing Marcy, "The father part in me is always going to want you to stay as the little girl I raised all those years ago in the wasteland. But, I must also come to terms that I must let you go and have you grow up the way you want. Hunson may have lost a lot of time for not being part of your life, but in the end he would want the same for you to be happy. Didn't he say he would at least try to be better?"

"Yeah, you're right," Marcy pressed her lips into a slight smile. "I just never would have thought I'd be involved into a high-profile relationship." She commented humorously to relieve some tension before becoming serious, "Still though, I finally get to spend some time with the two of you as you are now, and by then I'm already going my own way."

"We'll always have each other," Betty smiled tenderly. "The bond and memories we've shared will always be kept in our hearts. You know we'll be around if you ever need us, and that you're always welcome to visit."

"Of course, thanks mom," the vampire smiled.

Everyone went back to eating again until Phoebe spoke up.

"You know, every princess in Ooo is going to be happy once they find out you're finally normal," the elemental remarked to Simon.

"I'm sure they would," Simon nodded when he recalled several instances of kidnapping royals when he was under his alter-ego. "Just can't believe how much of a creep I used to be."

"Honey," Betty said with a frown as she placed a hand on his shoulder for comfort, "It was the crown's fault, not yours. Your mind was imprisoned the whole time, while its influence pulled the strings. And if the princesses can't accept that, then who cares? I'll still be by your side, knowing the truth."

"I'm sure they'll understand though," Phoebe commented. "No one was hurt and they can't really hold grudges if the person they hate is completely someone else."

"That's reassuring," the antiquarian said in relief.

Once everyone ate and changed into new clothes, the group rested for the rest of the night before setting out back to Ooo. Phoebe had already informed her cousin about their return, and she learned that he would arrange a party at the former Candy Kingdom.

"We're all excited for you guys to be here," Prince Furnius said over the phone. "Keep us posted when you get close!"

"I will cousin," Phoebe nodded before she hung up. When she looked over to her friends who flew beside her, she said, "We'll have been gone for almost three weeks by the time we get back."

"It's been that long?!" Marcy asked in wonder. "I swear I still lose track of time whenever we do something."

"At least it was productive," Phoebe nodded frankly. "We all learned something new across the way."

"Yeah," Marcy said absentmindedly when her mind started to daydream about reuniting with Furnius.

In the interest of time, the group had finally arrived at the land of Ooo from the east early in the afternoon. They returned the same way like their previous flight by flying above the barren forest that had defective ordinance. As they ventured further, the landscape changed from brown to green, with grass becoming more apparent as well as the trees. The Fire Kingdom was visible in the distance to the group's right, followed by the glacier mountains that made up the Ice Kingdom. The air went from hot to cold as they passed by each domain, and when they started to approach the Grasslands, they finally saw a modern metropolis in the distance. Needless to say, Simon was left in awe as the roads that branched out from the outskirts lead to several of the neighboring kingdoms.

"We can go explore at a much later time," Betty said beside him while she piloted the flying carpet.

"Do they see us?" He asked as he looked below at all the people that were in the nearby buildings and streets.

"They have a general idea," Phoebe replied overhead as she lead the formation with Jake 2, the fire wolf. "See that high-rise with all the flags?" She asked while pointing with her right arm for emphasis. "There's a landing pad on the side where we can all get off. Just follow me!"

Once they descended on solid ground, the group encountered the leader of the Fire Kingdom himself along with fifteen guards that made up his escort. He had a wide smile etched on his face as he saw Phoebe and the others walk closer. After that, he closed the distance between them and gave his older cousin a hug.

"I'm so glad you made it!" Furnius laughed in joy.

"It's great to be back, cousin," Phoebe replied sharing the same reaction. "By the way, these are the friends that I traveled with." She stated while parting away.

"Ah, yes," Furnius nodded. "I remember." He looked at each one and spoke out their names, "You're Betty, you're.. Marceline, and you're..."

"Simon Petrikov," the man replied with a smile. "The former Ice King."

"It's nice to meet you sir," the prince greeted formally with a handshake. "I heard stories about how the crown's curse was seemingly unbreakable. But, I'm glad to see otherwise."

"It was no easy task," Simon commented. "I owe my life to these ladies who went out of their way to see it through." He motioned referring to Betty, Marceline, and Phoebe.

"Sounds like it'll be the greatest story ever told," the prince remarked. "Now then, if all of you will follow me. We have food and refreshments waiting."

The group found themselves in a large dining room with several round tables that accommodated a dozen people at a time. Each table they went by had one monarch accompanied by a mixture of knights and diplomats. All of them greeted the newcomers with a friendly demeanor as they acquainted themselves with Simon particularly, and were fascinated when they learned the tale of breaking the ice crown's curse. Even the Grand Master Wizard of Wizard City was joyful to learn about the news and when he noticed how Simon and Betty stood beside each other, the former made a sudden announcement.

"Based on the events that have transpired today," he began. "I am pleased to announce that Wizard City will now open its borders to the outside world!"

The crowd cheered and applauded, while some of the royals muttered to each other in disbelief.

GMW resumed, "This day will be remembered as a new beginning for all of us." He looked over to Betty and spoke out loud, "Had it not been for her, my people would have been lost to the magical siphoner known as Bella Noche. Now that she has also saved her loved one while helping all of us from a constant inconvenience, we can all get on with our lives with a bit more ease." Another applause followed as he then took turns giving Simon and Betty handshakes and said, "You two deserve it, I hope this decision I made will lead us to good terms."

The glacier couple nodded in response and expressed their thanks.

"Now that it has been settled," Furnius spoke out. "Let's party!"

The room's lighting changed on cue, flashing multiple colors. As everyone gathered to the nearby dance floor, the music played even louder and faster with the crowd dancing in a huge frenzy. Everything was good as far as everyone was concerned, and the festivities continued for several hours until it was late at night.

"You've done a great job, Furnius," Phoebe commended as she and her friends stepped off the dance floor after a while.

"It's great to have you back again," Furnius said to the group when the some of the princesses left already while others continued celebrating. "Hope all of you enjoyed the welcome party!"

"Thanks, Furnius," Phoebe replied. "It was great, I'm definitely going to remember this!" She then turned away briefly to cover a yawn, "And as much as I like to keep going, I'm going to head on home early to get some rest."

"Alright, fair enough cousin," he said jovially as they exchanged a hug. "I'm sure we can talk more about your adventures later." He looked over to a nearby fire guard and ordered, "Please arrange for an escort team for the Flame Princess at once! And prep Jake Two for takeoff."

She pouted in response, "Come on Furnius, you don't have-"

"Nope," he said with a smug expression. "I'm pulling rank on this one!"

"Fine, but only because I'm too tired," she finalized before she walked out with four elementals. "Bye guys!" She waved on the way out.

"I'll be right back," Marcy then announced. "I need to make a quick run for the restroom."

"Okay, we'll still be here," the prince smiled, withholding a blush.

"Betty," Simon whispered for her attention. "If I may have a moment alone with Furnius?"

The woman nodded and proceeded to walk towards one of the snack stands in the distance.

"You're a cool guy, Mister Petrikov," Furnius said while bobbing his head to the music, "Marcy's told me so much about you."

"On the contrary, she's told me the same with you," he said evenly with a smile. "Though to be fair, Phoebe did fill in the blanks too."

"Oh," He said feeling slightly nervous. "I trust it was good too?"

"Yes of course," he nodded in assurance. "Hearing all the struggles you endured before and after the war is truly remarkable in its own right. You stepped up to become a leader when no one else would and now you're actively maintaining an image of genuine peace."

"Wow, thank you sir. I was just trying to make the best of what I could." The prince then frowned, "Though I still can't believe how things happened. One moment I was obsessed reclaiming the throne with my brother Torcho, the next I become absolutely content with Phoebe being in charge. Then before I know it, she passes it on to me and I'm back where I started. It's like a twist in irony where everything felt like it came in full circle. I didn't ask for this, but then again I'm not complaining either." He finished with a light shrug.

"Seems like that kind of phenomenon isn't too far from what I can relate to. When I tried to find Betty back before this world came to be, I learned she disappeared so that she may see me again one thousand years later in the future. Long story short, I basically stole her from myself." He chuckled lightly before continuing, "Anyway, you've been a hospitable host," Simon complimented as the two closed in for the handshake. "Also, let me be the first to say that it has been an honor to meet with the leader of the Free World."

"T-thanks, I never actually thought of myself like that! Heh, heh," he laughed nervously. When he tried to let go however, Simon held his hand firmly in place and leaned forward towards his right ear for the whisper.

"Promise you'll take real good care of her," he said in a low menacing voice. "I trust you don't need to hear me explain otherwise."

"No, no, no!" Furnius shook his head as he paled in response. "I-I read you loud and clear, Mister Petrikov! I promise!"

The former ice wizard smiled at that and then released him before giving a brief pat on the bicep. When he met back with Betty, he could see her crossing her arms with a smirking expression. "Think I laid it on him too thick?" He whispered.

"Nah," she answered casually. "I'm sure it'll help with the motivation. And besides, I think Marcy will be able to keep him in check too. She's a big girl after all."

The glacier couple exchanged a brief laugh until Betty yawned.

"Think it's time to head home?" Simon asked knowingly with a tired smile.

"Yeah," she answered. "The Ice Kingdom's been refurbished recently. Would love to show you around."

"I'm sure that can wait tomorrow," he shook his head. "I just want to sleep for the time being."

"Do you now?" Betty asked with a wicked glint from her eyes as she eyed him from head to toe.

"W-well," Simon stammered when he felt his palms begin to sweat. "What exactly do you have in mind?"

In response, she closed the distance wrapping her arms around his neck and kissed him deeply, nipping his bottom lip momentarily before parting with a blissful sigh. Simon was blushing immensely at this point and then he looked to the side, briefly tugging his collar with one hand.

"Maybe it's best I show you," Betty said lowly with an intense gaze.

Simon gulped in response.

"Alright, I'm back," Marcy called as she returned, causing the couple to part on cue. "You two leavin' already?" She asked with a straight face.

"Yeah," Betty said as she expertly returned to her normal demeanor. "Simon and I are starting to feel tired, all that traveling is starting to catch up to us!"

"Okay then," the vampire shrugged casually. "You two play nice," she teased lightly.

Betty smirked in response, "And you two behave!" She emphasized pointing at her and the flame prince taking a drink in the background.

Marcy felt her face pale in embarrassment and laughed nervously, "O-of course! You can count on me."

The woman shifted into a tender expression and exchanged a hug, "We'll see you later tomorrow okay? Love you."

"Love you too," Marcy replied as she then hugged Simon. Her eyes nearly watered from the tender moment, but her smile remained ever present. She had parents again and that was something she knew she would never take for granted. When she watched the glacier couple leave and take to the skies with a magic flying carpet, Marcy turned her gaze to the fire prince and smiled in admiration. Then, she stepped forward until his gaze met with hers.

"Hey," Furnius said with a shy smile.

"Hey," Marcy smiled as they faced each other at arms length.

"Do you want to go someplace else?" He asked after mustering enough courage. "There's a lounge upstairs where we can catch up."

"Sure," she nodded. "There's so much I want to tell you."

"Heh, that makes two of us," he chuckled briefly.

And so, the two shared their personal experiences since their time apart. Furnius was left in awe when he learned how Marcy helped her friends defeat the ice curse. The mysterious temple as the vampire described had many trials that seemed intense and overwhelming in mind, body and spirit, and yet here she was looking strong and beautiful as ever.

"I've learned a lot," she stated frankly. "Even though life throws one mess after another, my friends and I supported each other. I wanted to give up at times from all the frustration, but deep down I knew I had to face them once and for all. I guess the trick to it all was that we associated with each other's pain and that we reminded ourselves we were never alone."

Furnius found himself admiring the vampire more than he ever imagined at that point. The strength this woman had enduring her hardships only inspired him to improve on his own in that same regard.

"So what about you?" She asked fluttering her eyes. "Anything interesting happen on your end?"

"As a matter of fact, yes," he replied. "My people have finally established communications with Starchie, who now leads the remnants of the Candy Kingdom."

"Oh?" Marcy tilted her head in intrigue. "I'm sure Phoebe will be glad to hear that."

"It hasn't been easy beforehand," he explained. "For a considerable time, they have isolated themselves out of fear thinking we're bent on annihilating their entire race. I've even sought to have the other princesses assure them we are all united under a sovereign leadership, but that too also took a while. They're on the verge of making a return and joining the UC, but it's still a delicate situation. If they have a hint of doubt or if any of my guys misrepresent us in any way, they'll disappear."

"I know you can do it," the vampire comforted with a smile. "You've accomplished so much."

"Thank you," he said as he found himself enchanted by her features. If there was one thing he couldn't help but see, was that her smile always captivated him. This also did not go unnoticed as the vampire looked down briefly before letting out a soft giggle.

"Furnius," Marcy sincerely began, looking back up. "I'm really glad to see you again."

"I've missed you so much," he stated tenderly. "As the days went by, I felt like I couldn't think straight without your presence. You wouldn't believe how many close calls I had at work when all I could think about was you." He blushed at that last part.

"Oh?" she teased. "Maybe I should leave more often, keep you hanging."

"You. Wouldn't." he said with a narrowed expression as though he had been challenged.

Marcy nodded with wide smile on her face, "Oh that's right, lover boy. I'm going to pack my things, go far away, and never look back knowing your world would come crashing down."

"Really?" he asked genuinely with a crestfallen expression. In reality however, he was making a fake impression.

The vampire sighed lightly and stepped closer until her hands fastened at the back of Furnius' neck. Before the prince would have a chance to react and break character, the vampire had already leaned forward until her lips met with his. Furnius couldn't believe how his elemental matrix started to burn with such intensity, but then he overcame his shock as he melted in her embrace and returned the kiss. When they parted, both stared at each other lovingly, savoring the moment.

"There's no place I'd rather be right now," Marcy murmured. "You've been on my mind as well."

They kissed again, this time the prince placing his hands on the vampire's waist. His lips parted with hers as their tongues started to wrestle for dominance, and the vampire felt pleasantly surprised from the sensation until she stopped to regain her breath.

"I didn't know you have a forked tongue." She remarked.

"Y-yeah, I do," He answered as he blushed madly in embarrassment. "It's not a problem is it?" He glanced away to avert her gaze.

She smirked deviantly with confidence as she placed a hand on his right cheek to guide his gaze back. "On the contrary," she whispered seductively as her lips neared his by inches. "Not at all," she concluded as her hand slid behind his neck while using the other to fasten around at his lower back.

Their lips captured each other once more, this time with more strength and passion. Slowly but surely, the prince felt his nervousness fade away while having it replaced with a sense of longing. His hands shifted along the vampire's sides and back, with the two parting occasionally to let out a sigh of pleasure. His flames started to intensify as he became more passionate, making the vampire thrilled she was the one causing that effect on him. She then decided to let herself be under his control by letting him lead their heated exchange. As a result, she let out a squeak when she felt the elemental growl lowly and strengthened his embrace. Her body tingled from the inside as Furnius started to kiss her with more vigor and she let out a breathless moan when the prince nipped at the side of her neck near her bite marks.

Suddenly, Furnius stopped with his breath panting. His eyes were now burning completely amber and he studied her features thoughtfully before he huskily asked, "Want to stay at my place for tonight?" He brushed his hand over the side of her long-flowing hair, making her purr in delight.

A shiver went down the vampire's spine before she grinned wickedly and whispered, "If you will have me..."

The two quickly closed the distance with another hard kiss before they left side by side together at a brisk pace. From that moment on, they didn't care if the people they walked by gave them looks of shock and disbelief. Some were happy that the two became a couple, while others felt uncertain of the vampire and fire elemental being together. No one dared to say a word given the pair's individual reputations, and they cleared a pathway deliberately as the couple made their way to an empty elevator. Once the two were inside with the doors closed, Marceline giggled in response as Furnius met his lips with hers with eagerness. After a few seconds, his flames were starting to burn intensely and his lustful gaze returned.

"Getting a bit hot and heavy?" She teased as she felt herself pressed against the wall on her back.

"I swear if I didn't know any better," he said in between kisses along her jawline and neck. "I'd lose it. Right here, right now." He teased back before composing himself, "But I have my limits. It's already enough that everyone around here knows we're together now, no need to give them a show to prove it." He smiled cheekily.

"Maybe I beg to differ," she said lowly.

"Really?!" He asked in disbelief. The thought of being reckless with the vampire in front of a crowd of dignitaries and politicians made his head spin. Even if he wanted to justify his actions with his current position of power, he knew it would make him lose respect with his subjects and foreign allies.

"I'm kidding," she said jabbing his left bicep. "I know we have to keep things professional down here."

The prince drew a breath of relief upon hearing that and stepped back before returning to the vampire's right side. As they watched the indicator blink closer to Furnius' personal suite, the two hastily fixed each other's hair until they seemed fairly presentable.

When the elevator stopped with its doors opening a minute later, Marcy and Furnius saw a group of eight royal guards standing in column formation at the corridor before them. One half lined up to the left, while the other to the right. They had parted on cue to form a pathway and saluted with stoic expressions. As Marcy and Furnius walked past them, the former was surprised that not a single guard expressed a hint of shock upon seeing her be within the prince's side at close proximity.

"They're trained to do that," Furnius whispered in her ear. "They won't say a word."

Marcy could feel herself shivering in anticipation as Furnius made it to the door. After a long moment, the lock was opened and the prince motioned for her politely to enter first. She was flattered to say the least, but then her mind started to run in a myriad of emotions after seeing the elemental close the door behind him. The two froze in place at arms length as they studied each other's features. Both were nervous about what they wanted to do next, but at the same time they shared the same gaze that conveyed one with longing and want.

After a minute of staring intimately in each other's gaze, the two finally embraced with another passionate kiss. Their eyes closed as their mouths captured each other vigorously and the elemental could feel his flames rising in temperature. At the same time he felt himself losing control of his mind, the fire in his heart burning stronger with each passing second as he expressed his affection for the vampire.

Marceline was no different. Despite the fact she was fire-proof, her body began to feel hot as she surrendered herself to feeling absolute bliss. Slowly but surely, their kisses picked up more speed with their tongues fighting for dominance once more. It became a contest to see who would stay close the longest before one of them would part for air. When they did, they only stopped for a few seconds before they eagerly resumed the same pace.

As their breaths became heavier overtime, their hands started to wander beneath each other's clothing. Their minds jolted from all the newfound sensations as they explored each other further from the chest and abs, and over time they proceeded to loosen each other's outfits. Marcy and Furnius knew they were taking a major step in their relationship if they continued further, and yet neither made the decision to stop the other.

"Furnius," Marcy panted breathlessly.

"Marceline," he panted as the two rested their foreheads together to catch their breath.

"Let's make this night special, please?" She implored as her crimson eyes stared directly into his amber gaze.

"Are you sure?" He asked quietly as his lustful gaze returned to normal. "I know I was the one who-"

She placed a finger over his mouth and hushed in a soothing tone, "I want this as much as you do, my love. Now stop talking."

Furnius didn't need to be told twice after that. From that moment on, his hesitation subsided and proceeded to strip the vampire queen gently before him. His eyes widened in wonder briefly as he saw more of her smooth pale skin, and he shivered in anticipation when his lover did the same for him admiring his slim, chiseled physique. They had spent a long time devouring each other's lips, holding each other close as they were left in their undergarments. By the time Marceline boldly decided to reach behind to unhook the black bra that covered her ample breasts, the two had already approached the bedroom without even knowing. They studied each other meaningfully afterwards for a long while, silently expressing their love and desire for one another. If any of them had thoughts to back down at the last second, they were cast aside completely as the two brought their faces together and slowly descended together on the bed.

Marceline clawed at the elemental's back as he settled himself on top of her for the first time. Even though the prince felt the desperate need to give in to his primal urges, his heart reigned supreme as his hips rolled against the vampire's at a slow, tender rhythm intending to make their first time special. A breathless moan escaped the vampire's lips as her body moved with his, all while the elemental grunted occasionally to keep their union as long as possible.

Furnius couldn't have imagined he would share his whole being with the vampire before him. Even as he locked lips with hers holding her tight, he thought the experience was all too surreal. But as he felt his body build up with need at his lover's touch, his mind melted further in bliss casting aside any hint of doubt. Right now, all that mattered was that he expressed his passion for the vampire through his actions.

When the two paused to catch their breaths, both of them exchanged warm smiles. Furnius admired Marceline's hair that splayed all over the pillow, while the latter suppressed a giggle.

"Like my hair?" She asked with a tease.

The prince brought his right hand to stroke her cheek and said, "How can I not? You are so gorgeous."

Marceline smirked in response before she shifted to an expression of longing, "Furnius?"

"Yeah?" He replied softly.

"Don't hold back." She bit her lip.

Not willing to disappoint, the elemental closed the distance with a kiss for good measure. Within a few moments, his lower body started clashing against hers and the two became desperate to reach the peak of fulfilling one another. As Marceline's moans escalated with each thrust, Furnius became determined to deliver more force in turn. He eventually buried his face into her neck as he felt himself on the verge of ultimate release. To his surprise however, the vampire suddenly squeezed him unbelievably tight as she reached her climax. Furnius had only a few more seconds to keep himself under control before he finally let out a groan of satisfaction. As the elemental utterly lost himself in the vampire's wonderful body, Marceline kept her legs wrapped around him for a little longer, both of them embracing the consequences whole-heartedly that may or may not follow. Then, the two parted and laid on their side facing each other, basking in the after glow. For once, the two lovers wanted to feel a sense of completion after enduring through so many personal struggles. With their union came the promise for a new life, a new beginning, and a challenge they were willing to partake.

"I love you, Marceline," the prince whispered as he caressed her delicate features with one hand. "My Queen." He finalized with a long tender kiss.

Marceline felt tears of joy run down her face from being addressed as such for the first time. She never would have thought in her whole life that she believed she felt unworthy to have that title in that moment. At the same time however, she felt empowered, desperate even, to be called his Queen.

Furnius pulled away in concern upon seeing her tears. Before he would have the chance to ask, his worries were cast aside as Marceline kissed him eagerly with renewed vigor. Nothing needed to be said in that moment as they kept each other close with an unspoken understanding. They were together now and whatever hurdles life had for them in the future, both were willing to face them.

"You know," Marceline began mischievously. "I'm up for an encore if you are."

The prince made a lop-sided grin at that moment and was happy to oblige. As far as he knew, the moon was full but the night just couldn't be long enough.
