UNITED NATIONS SPACE COMMAND PRIORITY TRANSMISSION

ENCRYPTION CODE: OMEGA

SUBJECT: Force Strength

CLASSIFICATION: EYES ONLY, RECIPIENT

[START]

Fleet Admiral Harper,

First things first, I would like to congratulate you on your promotion in the chain of command to fourth in command in the fleet, behind only myself, Fleet Admiral Cole, and Vice Admiral Whitcomb. Your valiant defense of Earth rivaled that of Midway or Trafalgar, just as decisive as the battle of Reach. As a result, you will have direct oversight over not only your fleet, but also have reports of all fleet statuses. Now, as we voted yesterday onboard the Phoenix, we are now allies with the Elites. The public is not pleased about this, as you can imagine. Violent protests have broken out on the following colonies:

Earth

Reach

New Carthage

Sanctuary

Tribute

Jericho

Sigma Octanus IV

The list goes on. Marines have been deployed to try and calm down the protests without resorting to violence. The Elites have volunteered to assist; I promptly refused, but thanked them for the thought. Most of the military understands the decision, but there are some who protest the decision peacefully. Of course, the Elites are being very helpful, surprisingly. Their fleets are assisting our in patrols, and are offering to help rebuild destroyed parts of Reach.

Now, to the good stuff. Here follows UNSC forces and their strength:

All Marine Expeditionary Units are drawn from main divisions. Total, the UNSC Marine Corps total strength has been divided into two categories:

Units in space: 94,538,932 assets

Units on ground (basic training included): 188,938,023

Mechanized units: 32,000+ M808 Scorpion tanks- 2,000 M-145D Rhino artillery pieces- 1,500 SP42 Cobra anti-vehicle platforms- 3,000+ M9 Wolverine anti-air vehicles- 50,000+ M12 Warthog variants

Air units: 4,000+ D77-TC Pelican dropships- 9,000 AV-14 Hornet gunships- 2,000 GA-TL1 Longsword fighters

Onto the Army (forwarded from General Strauss)

Planetside units: 1,023,029,117

Mechanized units: 50,000+ M808 Scorpion tanks- 5,500 M-145D Rhino mobile artillery pieces- 60,000+ fixed artillery pieces (many are old field positions on Earth)- 3,000+ SP42 Cobra vehicles- 6,000 M9 Wolverine anti-air vehicles- 100,000+ M12 Warthog variants

Air units: 10,000+ UH-144 Falcon helicopters

The UNSC Air Force, though greatly underestimated, is a rowdy and greatly powerful branch:

15,000 GA-TL1 Longsword fighters- 4,000+ B-65 Shortsword bombers- 20,000 F/A-27 Viper fighter-interceptors

The Imperial Admiral for the Elites gave me some rough estimates for his fleets, and they go as such:

Fleet of Particular Justice- 160 ships

Combined Fleet of Righteous Purpose- 642 ships

Fleet of Furious Retribution- 143 ships

Fleet of Furious Redemption- 54 ships

Fleet of Vigorous Prayer- 201 ships

Fleet of Glorious Interdiction- 32 ships

More Elite ships are out there, but haven't replied to the Imperial Admiral or arrived at any of the rally points. Many are currently engaged in the battle over High Charity. The UNSC and Separatists are holding off on that battle, for now. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Your friend,

Fleet Admiral Terrance Hood

/END/

Okay, everyone, that was my attempt at laying out current fleet strengths. Of course, as it is written in Chapter One, the UNSC is producing many ships a week, so add around ten ships to each fleet for every week that passes in the story. Special thanks go out to EpicZealotProductions2.0, as he provided a basic fleet structure outline. Thank you all for reading so far!
