Hello I don't own either and wish to recognize higitsune for her wonderful work.
Sorry for being dead but a new chapter will be up buy the end of the week I promise, maybe.
That's all.
Carlos Holmes was not having a good day. He had a hangover from last night's party, and his boss had called at five thirty the next day to ask if he could into work because some of the others (they had been at the party as well) had called in 'sick' more likely the guy was still drunk.
Carlos worked at the shipyard, organizing containers and checking their contents against the manifest that the ships provided. He'd seen some fairly strange things in his time, heard about people smuggling various illegal things into containers down at the local pub, this container had no address and smelled like blood, it wasn't listed on the manifest either.
Looked like he'd a have to open it up and see what ever was in their god he hoped it was valuable. Since it wasn't listed if there was anything good he got he could give it to Jake to fence, his tab at the bar was just a little too high.
Zero cracked open an eye as the door swung open with a shriek of rusted metal, flinching away from the first light that he'd seen in over a month. The level E off to the side shifted then moaned weakly, blood slowly seeping from the bite marks that Zero had given him.
A human stepped in, bringing back a familiar itch to Zero's mouth as he drank ink the scent of the human. At the prospect of a fresh meal Zero propped himself up as best he could, his usual lilac eyes glowing unnaturally blood red. The man had now taken a look around disgust evident on his face before looking towards Zero gasping when he saw the glowing red eyes and tattoo eerily lighting up the back of the container. The level E in the corner shoved the door close with the prospect of food giving him energy. They were now all stuck in the container as the Level E leaned against the door. A low feral growl escaped from Zero's mouth as he tried to stand. Carlos didn't dare turn his back on either as his common sense as well as instinct told him, these two were hungry and he was lunch.
Adrenaline as well as blood lust coursed through his veins settling into his mind adding to his already insanity riddled mind, his morals and humanity retreated deeper into to oblivion to escape the smothering red blanket of blood lust.
Red, there was so much of it this sweet sticky substance.
(…Think!)
…Red… It was… Important? Somehow…
(… RO!)
That noise… why? Alone… He … Were was he?
(Dammit Ze… isten)
Red it was screaming now… this is fun… so noisy.
He was… hungry… maybe?
(Shizu… Wake up! Don't …. Re!)
He wasn't as hungry now… the noise had stopped.
(Zero!)
(Listen to me you've got to…)
.. So much red.
Carlos Holmes wouldn't be missed until the next shipment came in and one of the workers and a drinking buddy of his found his head under a bench during their break, the rest of the workers would hear his scream. Police would find a disfigured torso and an arm as they searched the docks, heavily mould with chunks of flesh striped away from the bone a warning was placed. Police would issue warnings on wild animals and animal control would patrol the docs at night.
Hello please review that's all.
Cat Out.
